August 19, 2017, Flight number KU117. I had my tickets with family from Lahore to New York. I was handed boarding cards from Lahore to Kuwait and same time I was given boarding cards from Kuwait to New York. I noticed that all the seats from Kuwait to New York are not together. Seats were given all over the place. I requested to staff but supervisor said, he will message to Kuwait and they will fix it. I spoke to staff at Kuwait airport but they could not help and re-arranged my seats to 16F, 17F, 18F and 17B. I was traveling with my wife and two kids ages 4 years and 8 years. At Kuwait, they also said, crew will help to sit together. In plan, I requested the same but new results. We had our kids on laps. I also like to mention, while waiting at Kuwait Gate 21, more than 100 peoples were standing because there are only few seats in waiting area of Gate 21. Flight was delayed 2 hours at Kuwait and no one explained any reason and passenger were standing and waiting to board. I also want to mention that I met 2 more family which had same problem with seating inside the plan. I been traveling from Lahore to New York from last 16 years and never had situation like this. Staff at Lahore was rude. They treated us like garbage. Staff at Kuwait was ignoring everyone. This was my worse experience.

As attached, arrived to Kuwait at 5:00 am and time to departure was 12:20 pm and arrived Bangkok at 11:35 pm but what happened was completely un believable. When I arrived Kuwait, there was a delay and I'd been told that the flight will be at 7:00 pm so i waited all that time at the airport then I'd been told that it will be at Monday 6:30 am so I booked a hotel till the next flight which supposed to be at 4:30 am when I came, I'd found that there is a delay ill 9:30 am. All these delays happened with no reasons at all and it cost me much. I paid for the hotel and a driver at Bangkok and due to these delays I lost a lot and created confusion to me and to people who were waiting for at Bangkok. beside the bad services and the rude at the airport form staff.
when I come back the same story happened again with the same delay. they didn't even apologize or change their manner although it wasn't our mistakes. they should find solutions to please their staff and improve their clients. I strongly asked them to remunerate and refund of what i'de lost during this terrible flight.

I would like to register a complaint with you regarding flights from qatar to bahrain via kwait by qatar airways and kwait airways on 12th of august 2017. From qatar to kwait my flight number qr 1078, my seat number 45d. Then from kwait to bahrain flight number ku 615, my seat number 28a. My passport number ma 211360. When I check in qatar I put 2 luggage. I inform to qatar airways staff please send my luggage direct to bahrain. The staff he explain me that airlines are not connected so when I reach to kuwait inform to kuwait airways staff to tag my luggage to bahrain. The flight was two hours late leaving from kuwait, however there was no issue here. When I arrived to bahrain airport my two luggage are missing. I was waiting for queue for 6, 7 people and I informed to lost and found center in bahrain airport. The airport staff took detail from me and give me the paper for property irregularity report file reference - bahku 10561 name. He told me that when we found we will call you. But still I am not get my 2 luggage. Already 4days finished.in that I have my food things, mobile, dress, sunglass, electrical things, househole items, perfumes. All things are very important to me. But iam not get any clear detail about my 2 luggage even I call bahrain baggage service everyday they reply that there is no reply from kuwait airways. And I have to settle in my new work place, I can not arrange anything yet and spend the money to buy the stuff. So as soon as do the needful for me.

purhased return ticket is not registered in their system!!!
Dear Kuwait Airlines Officer,
My wife (Jaruwan Arıcan) bought three tickets via your website on March 4th 2017. The itinerary was a round trip from Bangkok to İstanbul (and from İstanbul to Bangkok) with the flight dates July 4th and July 24th. The booking reference is J2MIXJ. The e-mail provided by the Kuwait Airlines included both flights and end of the message it clearly mentioned “For 3 Adults / Round Trip / Economy”. I am pretty sure the amount paid for the ticket is for a round trip ticket as well. However, the pdf file provided by the company included only one way ticket. My wife immediately asked for the return ticket by e-mail but received no response from the Kuwait Airlines. Then she ignored it as she already has the message which says she bought three round-tip tickets and they all got paid.
However, today (24th July 2017) when they are about to check in for their flight at İstanbul Atatürk Airport, they have been denied access as the ground crew could not find passengers’ names in the system. They insisted that we bought only one way ticket despite the fact that the e-mail we received clearly indicates it is “For 3 Adults / Round Trip / Economy” and the itienary showing all the flight details.
We have been forced to buy three new one-way tickets to catch the flight. I paid 1550 x 3 = 4650 TL (1314 USD) for three tickets which I already bought through your website in March. Can you please check your system and correct this mistake? We chose Kuwait Airlines as it is inexpensive and relatively comfortable but the problem we are facing now is definitely disturbing that naive and fragile faith.
You can see the e-mail we received from your online booking system and my wife’s unresponded request to the company for the return ticket.
Hope to hear good news from you, I really feel devastated for paying second time for a ticket which has been bought long ago and I request full reimbursement for the ticket I had to purchase today.

I cancelled my booking and filed my request for refund on July 4, 2017 (same day) through the head office of Kuwait Airways. I did not receive the refund yet after 6 weeks although I keep calling the refund office and hearing the same answer that the refund will be deposited in my account within 2 days time. Other friends who filed complains 10 days after me have got their refunds. Why delaying my case?
no easy solution to change flight

Kuwait Airways is the worst airline in the world. For last week I am trying to change flight for my aged mother. I had purchased the ticket on line. Tried to change flight on line but not possible. Contacted call centre. They informed that I had to visit their office. Since Friday Saturday closed, I went to their kuwait airport office. They said that they only handle emergency change not usual. I called and came to know they have only two offices. One in city and other in Farwania open from 10 am to 3pm. I reached farwania office at 1.02 pm. Only two counters operational and they informed me that they closed issuing tokens at 1 pm. Requested but no way. They asked me to come next day. Reached today at 9.45 am. Got the number 24. Only two counters operational. Each customer taking appox 40 minutes.
This is what you experience if you want to fly kuwait airways. Yesterday I called called centre and explained the difficulties. They said that they could do it if credit card used for purchase of ticket is of the passengers. I explained that I purchased the ticket using my Credit card. My mother 85 yrs old does not have credit card but they refused to entertain.
This is pathetic...
denied boarding for me and my family
good day,
yesterday we (we were more than 40 passengers) were denied boarding from Mashad (Iran) although we were at the counter before at least 3 hours before departure time! the reason they explained to us was that KAC had to change the AC type and replace a wide body AC with narrow one (A320) which could not accommodate all booked passengers!
After which (more than 5 hours) KAC has send another narrow body to accommodate the others (more than 40 passengers).
the only compensation KAC staff provided us was a meal!
the passengers were very shocked from such behavior and attitude.
we believe KAC should compensate us in a better way.

transit desk and cleaning crew
This is the worst flight to leave anything behind. My wife left her medicated specs on flight KU362 on the 24/07/17 and we informed the transit desk and security within 10mins of exiting the flight by giving them the seat numbers. The staff on the transit desk looked displeased to help or barely had any haste in retrieving it. After inquiring every 15 minutes we still had no luck. Finally, they informed that there is no glasses on the plane. On our way back from london i left my jacket on ku104 on 06/08/2017 and encountered the same inefficient treatment. The transit desk sent me to check with security staff and vice versa for 2 times till one worker intervened to help. The lady at the transit desk didn't even ask my seat number but came back to say nothing was found. They don't even attempt to listen to clear cut information on the exact location of our misplaced items. This is thoroughly dissapointing and unaccaptable. The KU staff in the airport have to atleast attempt to be helpful or even kindly attend to customers who are tired after a long commute and waiting at transit. Empathy is non existent and listening to a short useful information is also missing. These traits have to be instilled in your employees to ensure Kuwait Airways name is not tarnished and get customer loyalty. We the customers urge Kuwait Airways to train your transit desk employees and cleaning crew to identify and return misplaced items with care and responsibility. Lastly, improve your lost and found section and make sure the cleaning crew is not stealing or throwing away important items found on the plane because items dont just disappear in thin air.

I have been trying to hear back from someone about my complaint with the atrocious service I recieved from kuwait airways. The staff members were rude and my mother did not receive her wheelchair as asked for. The plane was promised to have wifi service. forget wifi, none of the tv worked and we were in that flight (from new york to Kuwait bound) for about 9-12 hours. On a long flight it was ridiculous. I specifically paid extra to get preffered seating for my mother so that she can have leg room and we were given a seat with same seat numbers however with cramped up space. i tried to get in contact with you to which i was told that i would recieve a call back in regards to this matter before and honoring is provided. today is july 23rd and my flight was on january 3rd 2017. months and months of trying to get a hold of someone and all i got was a complaint referrence number on july 5th that someone will contact me soon. this is ridiculous

First of all the service is very bad my friend went alone from cairo to kuwait and further he had a stop of 14 hours and then had a flight further.
He was Asked to give 2000 egp at the cairo airport and the company was telling nothing just asking for the money further i called him and asked to give the phone to your person in charge asking for the money and they refused to talk to me and he had to give the money. he didnt wanted any lounge a simple waiting room was good for him he unnessarily had to sped his amount on that not knowing anything he was mot a frequently flyer.

airline ticket cancellation charge
Airline Ticket name did not match with Passport name so Kuwait Airways did not allow the passenger to fly and I had to cancel the ticket. Ticket is non refundable and Kuwait Airways charged $350/- as cancellation charge. I need refund of $350/- as this was round trip ticket to India and Kuwait Airways can sell the return ticket to other passenger and recover financial impact to them if any. I want to understand the reason behind charging $350/- as cancellation charge.
I had to reschedule my journey and wasn’t able to use a connection from Kuwait to Dubai. I applied for a refund when I returned to England, which wasn’t as straightforward as I thought, being pushed from pillar to post at the start. Anyway I only received 15% of the cost of the ticket. Is this standard practice? I was hoping to recover at least 60% allowing for administration costs.

once i arrived on Mumbai airport it is informed that the your luggage still in Kuwait amd your representive said we fill the PROPERTY IRREGULAITY REPORT (PIR) from & Authority form i complate all the process as per instruction.they told me your luggage will be get within 2 days. but i got my luggage after 4 days in beetween i recived call form your customer office he said theat you got insurence claim 5000RS, so u can collect. but after that i call many time but no one answer to my call. Also i got my luggage after 4 days ( 27/06/2017) when i recived my luggage 50% luggage found in damaged condition. so please give me the settlement ammount for that.

I have contacted to Mr.Neeraj Sharma your team leader at Delhi Airport on 02.07.2017 @ 6.15am he was saying the flight is ready to move on 07.15am and he was telling me to come on after two days and when I showed the above message to him, he was denied not gave proper response due to this I was enforced to purchase other airlines ticket. therefore I am clamming the price of the ticket and harmful compensation for me and my family.

missing luggage
My luggage has been misplaced.
I was flying from Dubai to Delhi via Kuwait.
I came from Dubai to Kuwait by flight# KU 676 on 22nd June. But the flight was delayed by about 2 hours.
From Kuwait to Delhi, I had to fly by flight # KU 383 but due to the delay of flight from Dubai I missed my flight #KU 383 from Kuwait.
I was given another ticket with flight # KU 381 for 23rd June. And I flew by this flight from Kuwait to Delhi.
I had 2 checked in luggages in Dubai Airport at Kuwait Airlines check-in counter.
When I finally landed in Delhi on 24th June at around 1:30 am, I received only 1 luggage, with Tag#XH 144051
The other luggage, a trolley bag with tag number XH 144050 is still missing.
I have called the Kuwait Airlines office in Delhi several times, but nobody is ready to help. (They even told me that the luggage department of Kuwait airways at Delhi airport will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday, although there are many passengers of Kuwait airways whose luggage is missing )
What should I do ?
Is it normal at Kuwait airways to treat their passengers like this ?

extra baggage overcharge
My name is Tanvir Chowdhury. I am an us citizen traveling from New York to dhaka via Kuwait on the 14th June 2017. Flight no KU118. I had an extra luggage. I was informed by one of the customer service officer that the extra baggage charge was $150 and I could carry 32kg without being charged for over weight charges. I travel frequently and always try to keep my luggage to exact weight limit to avoid unnecessary charges and hassle. I specifically asked the customer service officer to make sure if I am allowed to carry 32kg for $150 and not being charged for overweight. However when I reached the airport and checked in I was told that I have to pay $300 since my luggage was exactly 32kg. The misleading information from the customer service officer cost me $150 more. I believe this is something the management can look at and if issue a refund of that extra $150. I hope my claim reaches the right person and I get my money back. Thanks.
