I tried to buy a 2020 Wrangler Willys from Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram
I tried to buy a 2020 Wrangler Willys from Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. They gave me a deal on paper with a 2.9% interest for 75 months. But when I went to the finance office to buy it, they changed it to 84 months at 5%. It felt like a trick. The General Manager (GM) sent me a really mean text message because I walked away from the deal. This GM is the rudest person in the car business I've ever met. I looked at reviews and everyone says the same thing about him and the dealership. I don't know how to reach the owner, but I'm trying to figure it out.
First and foremost, I wanna say a big thanks to *** for all his hard work and effort
First and foremost, I wanna say a big thanks to *** for all his hard work and effort. This guy's customer service is top-notch and he's always willing to go above and beyond. Nowadays, it's tough to find workers like him. *** really put in the hours to get us the vehicle we wanted and at the price we wanted too. We were at the dealership for a while, but *** was so thoughtful that he went and got food for my one-year-old daughter. He even brought some for me and my fiancée. Talk about going the extra mile! And get this, *** personally delivered the vehicle to our house for our convenience. He even came back from home at 9pm, after closing time, just to help us with some extra maintenance stuff. I highly recommend ***. He's a solid 10/10 in my book. In my opinion, he deserves a promotion.
Landmark Dodge is the worst place ever!
Landmark Dodge is the worst place ever! First bad experience years ago, they sold me a lemon, which was a Jeep! Why did I trust them again? I purchased another Jeep from a different car lot and took it to Landmark Dodge for a simple oil change and possibly a tune-up. After going to them, when I get up to 55 miles per hour, my Jeep would sputter. Mind you, this did not happen before I took it to them. They don't know that my husband and I know something about how cars work. My husband checked the oil and it was not clean! They said I needed a tune-up, who knows! Hopefully, they replaced all of the wires. We took my Jeep for a second opinion. Warning! Just do not use them for anything or purchase a vehicle from them! If you are in the area, just drive past the lot!
This place is a total scam!
This place is a total scam! I mean, seriously, everyone knows that dealerships can be shady, but this one takes the cake. I've actually worked in car sales for two whole years, and I've never seen anything like this happen to me or anyone else.
So, I'm dealing with this guy named Matt, who's supposed to be the sales manager. We work out a deal for a car, and we agree on a trade difference of $13,900. I sign all the paperwork, thinking everything is good to go. But then, out of nowhere, the owner shows up and congratulates me on my new car. He tells me to go to the bank and get him a $100 deposit. What the heck? I didn't agree to that!
The next day, I come back for financing, and guess what? The numbers have magically changed. Now they're telling me I owe $17,000 instead of the $13,900 we agreed upon. I can't believe it! I signed the paperwork, and I even left another dealership because they promised me the same deal and sent me all the details through text messages. I thought I was being smart, but turns out I was just being played.
I'm telling you, don't waste your time going to Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. They're a bunch of liars and cheaters.
I went to Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram yesterday with my wife to check out a Jeep Wrangler she wants to buy
I went to Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram yesterday with my wife to check out a Jeep Wrangler she wants to buy. As we were walking around the lot, a salesman approached us and asked if he could assist us. We informed him that we were just browsing for now. His response was, "If you're not buying, then get off the property. We're here to sell cars today." At first, I thought he was joking, so I playfully suggested that he should have us arrested for trespassing. However, he insisted that we leave. That's when it became clear that we had encountered a rude individual.
I requested to speak with his manager, thinking that it might resolve the situation. Unfortunately, to my dismay, the manager had the same unpleasant attitude as the salesperson. It was a big mistake on my part. As a result, we have decided to make our purchase at Gladstone Dodge, where they know how to treat their customers. We have no intention of ever returning to Landmark Dodge's premises.
Based on this experience, I strongly advise against buying from Landmark Dodge.
We had a really bad experience with this place
We had a really bad experience with this place. We just wanted to look around, but the sales guy wouldn't leave us alone. We wanted some time to look without someone following us, but that didn't happen. I spoke to the manager and got cornered by a senior sales guy, the manager, and the original sales person. The senior sales person even walked me out and told me to go to the gas station if I wasn't going to buy a car. Can't I visit a dealership without buying a car? Why don't they respect the customers' wishes? It feels like the staff always has to have the last word. This experience makes me not want to do business with Jeep anymore.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I think Landmark Jeep messed up the contract for my 2022 Jeep Wrangler on purpose 'cause I didn't put any money down, didn't have a trade-in, and financed through a credit union. After a nasty phone call from the sales manager where he kept interrupting me and yelled, I decided to give the car back. We couldn't agree on anything 'cause they wanted MORE MONEY after I already had the car, and they held onto my credit union check without cashing it. They had my check, and I had my car. It was worth it to give the car back, and I feel like I dodged a bullet by not having to deal with them and their shady practices in the future. WATCH OUT, BUYERS! I went to another local dealership to buy my Jeep, and the experience was like night and day. I saw the Wrangler I wanted online, went to the dealership, and bought it the same day. SO EASY! No shady salespeople or finance department. I'm really thankful for ***! Landmark wasted my time, but I'm so glad I don't have to deal with them anymore. ALSO... They didn't include my $500 deposit in the final contract. If I hadn't noticed the next day, they would've just taken free money from me. THEY'RE SNEAKY!
I went to Landmark on June 2nd, 2022 to get my Jeep Patriot's oil changed and tires rotated
I went to Landmark on June 2nd, 2022 to get my Jeep Patriot's oil changed and tires rotated. It took them a long 2 hours, even though I was second in line when they opened. When I was about to leave, the shop manager came running out and said I couldn't take my car because a new guy might have messed up something, like the oil filter. I had to wait another half hour before they said everything was fine and I could go. As I drove away, I noticed a little noise in the rear of the car that came and went for a couple of weeks. But on the third week, it stayed and got louder, so I took my car back to Landmark on June 30th, 2022. This time, they made me wait for a whopping 3 hours just to tell me that I needed to replace both front struts, both lower control arms, align the car, and replace both rear wheel bearings. The total cost for all these repairs would be $5546.14, plus tax and shop fees. I couldn't believe how expensive it was! They even charged me $150.00 just to diagnose the car. I decided to check with another Jeep dealership in town, and they quoted me $2934.95 for the same work. They were shocked by Landmark's price. Finally, I took my car to a regular garage and got another diagnostic done for only $21.99. They found nothing wrong with the front of the car, but they did confirm that the rear wheel bearings needed to be replaced for $620.00. They also said the rear struts and springs needed to be replaced for $725.00 (including shop fees and sales tax). Landmark was not only trying to overcharge me, but they also didn't do a proper diagnostic on my car. If they were decent or honest, they would refund the $150.00 they charged me for a bad diagnostic.

I bought a 2020 Dodge Charger from the business and they won't return my calls about the account. A guy named *** damaged my car on purpose.

I sold my truck because the salesman, ***, told me that with my credit score of 700, I could get the truck I wanted
I sold my truck because the salesman, ***, told me that with my credit score of 700, I could get the truck I wanted. However, after they checked my credit 13 times, my score dropped to 570. Now, I don't have a truck, and they lied to me about having any 3/4 or 1-ton used vehicles on the lot. To make matters worse, the sales manager threatened to call the Independence PD because I called the salesman, ***, a liar. I saw three heavy-duty used trucks on the adjoining lot.

I bought a new car from the dealer
I bought a new car from the dealer. When we were making the deal, I thought about getting better running boards, but I didn't get them installed that day. After thinking about it some more, I changed my mind and decided I didn't want them after all. So, I asked for my money back. This happened in October . I've talked to the dealer six times since then, but they haven't done anything about it. They owe me a total refund of $795. All I want is my $795 back.
I gave Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram a hundred bucks for the loss title fee
I gave Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram a hundred bucks for the loss title fee. They reached out to me for help in getting it, but I ended up doing everything myself. I ordered it and paid for it all the way from Texas. I brought them the title and signed it over to them. Then, I asked *** (the finance director, I think) for my hundred bucks back since I did all the work and paid the fees to Texas. He said he'd give it back to me. I've called and texted him seven times to follow up, and every time he admits he hasn't sent the check yet. But it's been seven months, and I still haven't seen that hundred bucks from Landmark Dodge.
I came to Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram because they charged me more for the car I purchased
I came to Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram because they charged me more for the car I purchased. In the first agreement, the total was supposed to be $12,070, which included $9,465 for the car, $2,395 for a service contract, $199 for something else, and $5 plus $6 for additional fees. However, in the second agreement, the total was supposed to be $11,010, which included $10,800 for the car and $199 plus $5 plus $6 for additional fees. They then subtracted $1,500, making it $9,510. So, the final price of the vehicle was more than what I agreed to, with a difference of $1,335.
The finance manager at Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram wanted to charge me $2,395 for a service contract that I didn't want in the first agreement. In the second agreement, the finance manager overcharged me for the price of the vehicle, which was $1,335. I agreed to the second agreement, but I didn't realize that he had overcharged me for the price of the vehicle. The $1,500 was the down payment for the vehicle. I felt pressured to give the money for the down payment.
is my first time purchasing a vehicle from Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, and I must say, I am quite disappointed with the service I have
is my first time purchasing a vehicle from Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, and I must say, I am quite disappointed with the service I have received.
I bought a brand new 2018 Jeep Wrangler on 11/25, and according to the sales agreement, I had paid for additional features for my Jeep. One of these features was supposed to be a slant back top with windshield wiper capability. However, when the top was installed on my Jeep, it turned out to be the wrong one.
Since the purchase, I have been trying to resolve this issue with the dealership. I have been dealing with a person named ***, who was initially handling my case. I have been asking for an aftermarket wiper for the slant back and weather stripping that was rotted when it was installed. However, I have been given the runaround for over a year now.
To make matters worse, I was informed yesterday by *** that he is no longer handling my case. This came as quite a shock to me, as I had been in contact with him for a long time regarding this matter.
About a month ago, ***, *** and my husband and I all met up at "***" aka ***. We were assured that they would finally order the correct weather stripping for my Jeep, and they even said they would do it "at whatever cost" to get it done. However, despite these promises, the issue still remains unresolved.
I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication and follow-through from Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. It is unacceptable that I have been waiting for over a year to have this issue resolved, and now I am left without a point of contact.
I hope that someone from the dealership will take responsibility for this matter and finally resolve it. I have been patient for far too long, and I expect better customer service from a reputable dealership like Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram.
Landmark had an ad for a Ram pickup on their website
Landmark had an ad for a Ram pickup on their website. The truck in the picture was a fancy Black Ram with black wheels, big screen on the dash, heated seats, priced at $23985. I messaged a salesman to ask for photos to confirm the truck. The salesman sent me photos of a basic model, small dash screen, chrome grill and wheels, definitely not the same truck on their website. The salesman said the truck in the picture was a $50000 truck and he would be happy to make a deal. I asked him if they were doing a bait and switch. He said no. I told him what he was doing was exactly that and they were lying in their ads. The next day, I was on *** looking at Ram trucks and saw the same ad. I messaged again asking for photos to confirm we were talking about the same truck. The salesman said they hadn't taken any photos yet but I could come by and see it, when do you want to set up an appointment. I told him I could come on Saturday and asked him to send me photos of the side of the truck and the dashboard. The salesman sent me the same photos of the basic truck again, saying the photos I was talking about with the bigger dash screen were of a different truck but he would be happy to make a deal on that truck. I told the salesman, ***, that their ads were illegal, bait and switch, and lying. I then asked their company to not contact me again because I wouldn't trust them to do business with.
In retrospect, I should have noticed some warning signs
In retrospect, I should have noticed some warning signs. On 7.28.22, I went to Landmark Jeep to buy a car, but no one helped me. Eventually, a salesman from Landmark Dodge across the street came to my aid. They checked my credit to see where I stood. At first, my salesman said I only needed to put down $100 to order the car I wanted. However, he later informed me that the sales manager said I had to pay $500. I didn't think it was a big deal since I assumed I would get it back once my car arrived in 6-8 weeks.
On 8.1.22, I had to return to the dealership because I wanted to make some changes to my vehicle choice, which turned out to be cheaper. On 10.4.22/10.5.22, I received an email from Jeep confirming that they had received my order and it was in their production queue. This news left me disappointed and confused. I immediately called and spoke with the "" about my concerns. He reassured me that everything was still on track and my car would arrive in October. He even mentioned the VIN number. Then, on 11.9.22, I received another email informing me that my car had started the assembly process and would be at the dealership around 12.15.22.
At this point, I was extremely frustrated with the constant lies. I decided to go to the dealership in person to speak with the "" again. He gave me more reassurances. But after 17 weeks, a new salesman appeared, causing a financing issue. Once again, I was told that I had paid too much to place the order. When I reached the finance department, they informed me that my interest rate would be over 10% and my monthly payment would be around $850-$900. I explained that I couldn't afford this at the moment, and they suggested that I borrow money or find someone to help me with the payment, with the option to refinance in 6 months. I stood firm in my decision, and then they told me (making me feel ashamed and blamed) that I would lose my $500 deposit.
I cannot take the risk of giving them my fully paid vehicle, not being able to make my car payment (due in January 2023), and being left without a car to commute. When I mentioned how long the process had taken compared to what I was initially told, they naturally blamed the manufacturer.
On April 15th, my wife found a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Limited on a car sales site and at Landmark CJDR.
On April 15th, my wife found a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Limited on a car sales site and at Landmark CJDR in Independence, MO for $41,988. The salesman wrote estimated monthly payments/terms with the sale price at $45,688. My wife mentioned the lower online price and he said Landmark CJDR shows lower prices online to attract customers. The GM said the online price was a mistake by another GM and the actual price was $45,688. The GM asked my wife to return the next day for the van. Before doing so, she confirmed the online price and said she'd only proceed if they honored it. The issue was resolved and they agreed to continue the purchase on Tuesday. My wife was upset about being misled and considered other options. However, she was assured they could honor the online price and they proceeded. On April 19th, I completed the paperwork. Six days later, the van broke down and the warranty couldn't find a service provider, leaving us stranded. After the sale, we found over $8,000 in additional fees added to the price.
