Bought at home depot for about 400. Double retractable screen doors for pair of French doors. Hard to install. Unclear instructions.
After a single season, one side of the doors would no longer retract. It took us all summer, but we found a way to make the door retract again. It required taking apart the entire frame and removing the casing to the door retraction taking out the screen opening up both ends Glowing the screen back on the core Winding it up putting it all back together and giving it a few more wines. That 1 lasted 1 season after that but at the end of the season we did that repair the other 1 started to fail. Letting it go for the winter, Now we have 1 door That won't be tracked at all and is partially removed from its core and the other door is starting to fail again. There is an That won't be tracked at all and is partially removed from its core and the other door is starting to fail again. There is an enormous amount of work repairing this. And of course they would be willing to sell me 2 more rollers with screens attached For 25% each of the original purchase price this is ridiculous.
Claimed loss: approximately $450, plus Idaho taxes. I'll consider the other costs including gas money to drive there and pick it up and materials to repair it with in the hours spent on it just to be a loss.
Desired outcome: This company should be banned from selling this.
