I purchased a central air unit from this company about a year ago
I purchased a central air unit from this company about a year ago. Unfortunately, when they installed it, the blower motor was not functioning properly. This meant that last summer, during the hottest days of the year, we had to endure a few days without air conditioning.
Yesterday, on 6-21-22, my unit stopped working and a technician was sent to assess the issue. However, the technician did not bring any testers and seemed unsure of what to do. The following day, on 6-22-22, the company called and informed us that we had an appointment at ***. Later, at 11:30 am, they called again and said that the appointment would be closer to one o'clock. When I called them at one-thirty, I was transferred to a supervisor who informed me that my appointment was actually scheduled for Friday, as that is when the blower motor would be available to fix my unit. The supervisor's choice of words was quite rude, which only added to my frustration as I was desperately trying to cool down my house for my children. It was not communicated to us that we would have to wait for a blower motor to be delivered. Frustrated, I hung up on the lady and had a mental breakdown, considering the well-being of my kids and dogs who were overheating. The company provided no answers or solutions, despite the fact that the blower motor in my brand new unit was malfunctioning.
I believe that this company should show more sympathy and care towards their customers, especially considering the amount of money I paid for the unit. The service I received was rude and lacked communication. Now, I am forced to wait until Friday for the repair. It is frustrating that they have pushed me to wait for so long. It is worth mentioning that this unit was serviced within the last 20 days and the technician confirmed that everything was in perfect condition.
