Contract discrepancies and poor workmanship Failure to install correct fixtures paid for during contracting
Contract discrepancies and poor workmanship Failure to install correct fixtures paid for during contracting. Failure to replace faulty weather stripping on door. Failure to screw in a bathroom door. Failure to wire my electrical system to code in the laundry room. Thermostat is improperly calibrated. I placed warranty claims as directed by the main office and then was subsequently denied repairs or replacements.

Builder has not worked to address the list of issues on our home
Builder has not worked to address the list of issues on our home. Prior to closing the purchase of our home, we did a pre-purchase walk-through and generated a list of items to be addressed by the warranty team. The list was extensive and included installing shutters and replacing the garage door with an insulated door as covered in our purchase contract. I have contacted the warranty team by phone and email but they have not even started to work to close out the list.

Legacy Homes has admitted that the flooding in my yard was caused by the grading of the yard next door
Legacy Homes has admitted that the flooding in my yard was caused by the grading of the yard next door. Endless promises but nothing being done. I closed on my Legacy Home on October 19th. Immediately after closing, I noticed water standing in my backyard. I filed a warranty request for service on December 16. I have been told on numerous occasions that the problem would be fixed. As of today, 4/5, no remedial action has been taken to fix the problem. Attached are pictures of my flooded backyard.

We purchased a home. We paid for a premium lot. We have our original contract. A year later, Goodall is now taking over half our land back to build on We purchased our home Feb 2019. We poured a slab (Basketball court) of concrete March . Goodall told us we'd have to take up our slab because the property we put it on didn't belong to us; although it's on our contract & although our sprinklers go out past our Basketball Court. Goodall came out yesterday to tear down our Basketball Court that we paid $3000 to have built. So, not only did they take our land from us, but they made us tear down our basketball court, without any compensation. They have been unwilling to listen or negotiate. But our contract has all the proof that we were building (The basketball court) on the property they gave us, & we "in good faith" believed to be Ours based on our sprinkler system.

Refusal to Perform Warranty Repair Since the home was constructed, the side of the house with the Vinyl has been warped
Refusal to Perform Warranty Repair Since the home was constructed, the side of the house with the Vinyl has been warped. 3 Repairs have been attempted, which did not resolve the issue. After the latest repair, the Subcontractor "Home One" who did the warranty repair stated they would be back out to address the issue. After 2 months I followed up with Legacy Homes, who advised me "The repair is complete and there is nothing more we can do." I still have a house with warped siding over the patio in two locations. This is a breech of their warranty contract. Pictures and documentation is available. Summary of Problem: 3 Repairs of Issue attempted. Company States Issue no longer Exists. Company Refuses to acknowledge issue exists in spite of pictures and evidence to contrary.

Currently, have an issue with ponding caused by the finishing of an adjoining home (*** Kretzer)
Currently, have an issue with ponding caused by the finishing of an adjoining home (*** Kretzer). Currently, water now drains from my lot, *** Kretzer, and *** Kretzer into a singular spot. Attempted to contact Legacy to resolve after a couple of days of no rain but a small amount of noticeable erosion. They told me: 1). A technician came out and said the area was smaller than a fist and to put down sand (see pictures for the size of the ponding after only 30 minutes of rain today); 2). Tt was greater than 10 ft. from my home (it is roughly 6-7ft away with 30 minutes of rain), 3). Kept referring me to my warranty, 4). Called the spot where the lots join an easement even though there is no easement here (just our land). Please see the PDF for more information. Please see the Kaitlin pngs for what Legacy stated.

LVP flooring is severely scratched in less than a year of living here
LVP flooring is severely scratched in less than a year of living here. This flooring is 'supposedly' scratch resistant and under warranty. We chose LVP flooring in our Legacy Home because *** told us that it was great for people with pets and was scratch resistant, etc. We have been in this house for less than a year (moved in June ), and our floors are severely scratched. They actually started getting scratched immediately from very minimal movement on the floors. We even had *** (a contact with the flooring team) come out and fix our thresholds (unrelated) and told us this scratching is 'pretty bad' and not normal and should be covered under warranty. We filed a claim with warranty and was told it was not covered. Additionally, part of the floor chipped off from my husbands toe hitting hit (literally, his toe). We still haven't heard back if that will be covered under warranty. It appears the flooring is terrible quality, and these issues should be resolved through our home warranty.

Goodall Homes has failed to address build quality issues for multiple problems with new home construction and does not honor advertised
Goodall Homes has failed to address build quality issues for multiple problems with new home construction and does not honor advertised warranties. Goodall Homes completed the construction of my house in July and supposedly provides a 1 year warranty on general build issues, a 2 year warranty on major systems and a 10 year structural warranty. Within the one year period, we identified a major issue with our driveway, the slope is too steep for any car and most SUVs to drive into without bottoming out. This causes damage to our vehicles and anyone else that pulls into our driveway. We first notified Goodall Homes of this issue on 08/07 (one month after closing) and have since been given the runaround by Goodall Homes. Supposedly they have sent someone out to inspect it to say that it is "acceptable" which is highly suspect since our security cameras do not show anyone coming to inspect our driveway. I offered to have the warranty repair personnel drive into our driveway to show them the issue with the slope which they promptly refused. I have provided photographs which show the damaged concrete in areas where vehicles bottom out as well as videos of vehicles bottoming out in the driveway only to receive a response from Goodall that "we will not be able to address the driveway slope." Other residents in my neighborhood have reported similar problems; however, those were actually repaired while Goodall has refused to do anything with ours. The second warranty issue has to do with a major systems failure 1 year and 4 months after completion of construction. We returned from a week long vacation to find a major water leak in our front yard (unregulated water pressure flooding the yard and street coming out near the water meter). I was able to shut off the main water supply to the house to prevent any further damage and wasted water; however, the water supply to the house had to be completely shut-off. I attempted to contact the Goodall warranty department multiple times, but was unable to reach anyone. Not wanting to go days without water in my home while waiting for Goodall to be available, I contacted a plumbing repair business in town which promptly came out that day. They found the problem to be an installation defect where the main PEX connection to the irrigation line from the main line tee was never properly crimped so the PEX just separated from the tee. I have receipts and photos of the issue and subsequent repair which I provided to Goodall Homes for reimbursement; however, I was notified that since I was unable to reach Goodall warranty and since I didn't use their preferred service company (which I would have gladly used if they had provided any of that information as part of the warranty package) that the issue is not warrantable. I have several other issues throughout the house pertaining to Goodall Homes build quality that I have fixed myself not wanting to go through the weeks or months long process of communicating the issues to Goodall Homes warranty only to be told "No" in the end. I have tried working these issues with Goodall Homes directly for over a year and a half and have only been given No as the answer on nearly every occasion despite the issues being obviously build quality related. I have e-mails, pictures, videos, receipts and other communications with Goodall available to substantiate the issues identified above.

Legacy Homes is not working in accordance with the design contract
Legacy Homes is not working in accordance with the design contract. It has misplaced multiple Cat5 connections in the home, and will not resolve this. During the design phase of the Home Selections, my wife and I expressed out desire for a custom Cat5E solution where all bedrooms were wired, and terminated in the loft. This would allow us to keep our computer router in the loft, which would be used as a media area/study. Designs which were stipulated in the design selections of the contract are as follows: a) All cables would be terminated in the loft. b) Cable jack added to Bedroom 1 c) Cable jack added to Bedroom 2 d) Cable jack added to Bedroom 3 e) Cable jack added to Bedroom 4 f) Cable jack added to Living Room Rather than meeting the design document, the cables were added as follows: a) All cables were terminated in the utility room. b) Cable jack added to Bedroom 1 c) No Cable Jack was added to Bedroom 2 d) Cable jack added to Bedroom 3 e) Cable jack added to Bedroom 4 f) Cable jack added to Living Room g) Cable jack added to Loft It is radically uncommon to find someone who places a computer in a utility room. All Cat5E Cables are terminated in the Utility room. There is nowhere in the contract in which we requested access to the network int he utility room. Contractually, this is completely wrong. Network requirements were communicated on the following dates: Design Meeting 9/12 - I advised the two ladies performing the design meeting where I wanted the network jacks, and that I wanted all network jacks terminated in the loft. They stated while Cat6 Cables were not an option as I requested, they could certainly make the network I selected occur. Realtor Initial Meeting pre-Framewalk 11/1 - I reiterated the importance of the network location due to my career. The realtor stated that would not be a problem, and that he would communicate with the CM. Realtor 11/19 - I advised the realtor that the cables were in the incorrect locations. Construction Manager 12/13 - I advised the construction manager that the cables were in the incorrect locations. He mentioned that AT&T does everything wireless these days anyways and I should not use Cat5 Cables anyway. As Wireless is unreliable in providing speed past 100MBps (on top of latency) and I use 1000MBps connections, I mentioned this is not correct. The CM mentioned he would talk to the cable guy and sort it out. Realtor 1/7- I advised the realtor that the cables were in the incorrect locations. I mentioned it is ok to leave as is, but I expect not to be charged for it. Realtor 2/4- I advised the realtor that the cables were in the incorrect locations. I mentioned it is ok to leave as is, but I expect not to be charged for it. Realtor 2/6 - Provided response that all cat5E cables are in the correct locations, but no adjustments were made and -all- cables are still placed incorrectly. Realtor 2/6 - Realtor advised me that The above conversations never occured, I was lieing about where I wanted my cables terminated (Even though the design document and final outcome are radically different), and stated I would be charged for the modifications regardless of past conversations. Total Rundown: We made selections in our contract. Legacy Homes radically changed our selections. The way they altered our selections renders the network unusable. Legacy Homes refuses to refund payment for those selections, or terminate the cables in the loft. Legacy Homes was told on multiple occasions of our requirements, and at no point did they advise us that they could not perform our requirements until 7 months had passed.

I have had flooring issues since I moved in, in Mar 2020
I have had flooring issues since I moved in, in Mar 2020. I submitted a complaint in June this is Nov. and my flooring STILL has not been repaired. Mar. 25 I closed on my house Mar. 27 I saw the Legacy employee and asked him to come and look at the bubbling on my kitchen floor. He came over, mentioned that all they had to do was insert some type of syringe and it would be good. I kept waiting and no one came. June 18 I placed a work order for my kitchen and dining room floors bubbling up. June 24 I sent an email asking the status of them coming out to check my flooring, the Warranty Mgr responded someone would come July 14 between 9-11 (4 mos in.) July 14 Someone came and took pictures of the floor and left. August 19, I placed a warranty request about the ceiling lights in the kitchen. They started blowing out and when I bought more they lasted ONLY 24 HOURS! That HAS NOT been repaired! August 3 I emailed about the status of the floor, I told them that email that no one ever returned. August 6 I asked again about the flooring. August 7 I received an email with a repair date of 8/17. August 18 I received this email: "The flooring company sent me an email saying that they were there today and no one answered. That is my fault, I see where I said in your email the 17th but put it on the 18th for the flooring company's calendar. I am so sorry, I will get that rescheduled. It will have to be next week but does Tuesday the 25th from 9 am -11 am work for you?" August 24 I sent an email informing them I had been exposed to COVID which I tested for and placed the repairs on hold. September 8 I sent an email saying I tested negative and the repairs could proceed. NOTHING! September 21 I asked AGAIN about the floor AND the lights, (warranty request Aug. 19 for lights) that was NOT repaired. I received this: "I have added the flooring repair to the calendar for the flooring company and followed up with the electrician, please let me know if you have not heard from them by Friday. I told them the flooring was getting WORSE and soon the whole floor would need to be replaced. September 25th I was told they will be calling to schedule their appointment. September 30 I received an email asking about the repairs. October 1 I responded saying... "The people came out to repair the flooring on Monday, the man said they had the wrong vinyl and they would come back on Tuesday. They came back on Tuesday and said they had something else that was wrong, so they left Tuesday and NEVER came back. He said ONE indentation in the floor was due to a hole being in the concrete underneath. However, the other indentations in the floor were due to the chairs, so I am a bit confused. I have NEVER heard of chairs denting the flooring. But the answer to your question is no, the floor has not been repaired." By this time the floors OR the painting of the ceiling from the bathtub leaks upstairs previously. was STILL NOT REPAIRED! I was told they would follow up. And now...Today October 23, I received an email..."I will follow back up again with the floor and attach those pictures, that's clearly an intense bubbling underneath. I apologize you are having such an issue with the floor. You are not bothering me at all! I will forward these pictures to the flooring company right now and find out what's causing such bubbling." Their is a seam in the floor between the stove and sink, I was told it was due to grease and food, and it would not be repaired. PLEASE NOTE! There is STILL a ring in my ceiling from the Bathtub leak from July! I was told it would be repainted. PLEASE NOTE! The kitchen lights are STILL not repaired from Aug 19. AND PLEASE, PLEASE NOTE! There are over 10 emails about my flooring over 7 mo period! This is CLEARLY BAD business and I have been very patient! This is BAD customer service for not only me, but for anyone! I was talking to one of the neighbors and she told me she was have problems with her flooring. I've had SEVERAL issues, but the flooring is the main problem now.
