Move from North York Ontario to London Ontario. Scheduled to arrive on Monday 14th June for a move in time of between 12pm - 3pm ( 3 hour window to move in due to COVID regulations by the building) Movers were hired to pack the day before to ensure timing for 14th Movers did not arrive till around 10.30 pm in London We had to store furniture in our garage and then pay out of picket for a second move to get items to apartment. They kept changing cost. When they had packed 1/3 of items in truck. They *** to put all items on road outside if we did not pay upfront . They then gave a price of 3200 up from 2800 . On arrival in London we were told cost is now 3360.00 they then billed us 3500.00. They take no responsibility for what has occurred and have offered a 50 dollar refund.

On July 14, two movers from Let's Get Moving came to my apartment to move my things out and into storage for 2 weeks. They have committed to moving my things into my new apartment on august 3rd. The service I was provided was completely different than the service I agreed to when I initially hired them. The amount of hidden fees, extra expenses, and slow moving racked my bill up to $1588. I was not permitted to see them load my things into their storage, and as a result, they took from 2:48 to 6:45 to unload my small amount of furniture into their storage - from a one bedroom apartment. They then informed me the blankets would cost extra: when I was initially assured there would be no extra expenses that were not previously agreed to when I hired them. They tried to make me sign a waiver that my TV wasn't broken after the move, which hadn't been completed yet. Worst, they charged my card $1588 without my consent after I called to bring these issues to their attention. ***.

I booked a move they did not complete the move and billed me extra hours for furniture they left behind. I had to hire a contractor the next day to remove the furniture. When they moved our furniture back into the house from storage I gave them clear instructions that they're to deliver one Murphy bed to the first address then deliver the remaining furniture to the original pick up address. They were booked between 2-4 I l called all day long only a customer service rep told be at 6pm they were tired and needed to eat. The truck didn't show up until 9pm and unloaded the Murphy bed in pieaces and did not have the wardrobe on the truck. They admitted to making the mistake of delivery half a Murphy bed to the first address and also delivering the wardrobe there in error. They were too tired to go back and wanted to leave it outside. I asked them to put it back on the truck due to the snow and it being wood. They called the office - paid $1,709.00 with a promised of delivery the next day. It's 4 days now and they will not deliver and want me to pay extra charges as a new move

Moving team showed up on time at 9AM and they immediately indicated that the truck they were using may not hold all the items of our apartment. They also indicated that they should be doing this move with more manpower. As the move progressed they suggested that we could probably *** someone from TO which I agreed to if it could help get this done at my cost. Unfortunately no one was available. That is when I asked my stepson and his girlfriend to help which they gladly did. Even with all of that the move went very slowly. As a result of the manpower shortage this created a problem with our freight elevator and had to stop the move in order to accommodate another previously booked move. I paid for the drivers lunch and supper. They finally left Kitchener around 7 PM and arrived at 8:30 and finished unpacking shortly after 12 AM. They left enough stuff that I was able to fill a large cargo van which I had to personally move myself; this took approximately 8 hours in total. I incurred van rental costs and my personal time in order to complete a move that I had paid for.. $3200.00

I hired Let's Get Moving Canada as a moving company. Many items were damaged during my move and subsequent to the move, On November 25/21 their accounting employee "***" authorized their movers ***, *** and *** to cart away $100,000 of my possessions at approximately 5 a.m. because they refused to allow me to speak to customer service which opened at 7:00 a.m. prior to payment of my bill. The company emailed, called and texted me almost daily after I retained their services on November 4 up to my move date of November 24 and not once was I ever presented with a "contract" for signature. I hired them to provide 4 experienced movers and I made sure this was noted in my file. On the morning of my move at approximately 7:30 a.m. I received a call from *** stating that one of their movers had called in sick and they would try to find someone else. *** showed up at 12 noon and it took him 30 minutes to park the truck. At the commencement of my move on November 24, during all the commotion, *** presented me with the signature box only on an ipad and said, "This gives us permission to move your stuff." At no time was I advised that it was a contract and at no time was I given an opportunity to even read the document I was signing. I have never been provided with a copy of the contract and still have not received a copy. Their refusal to provide the "contract" to their customers before, during and after services are rendered is a calculated manoeuvre to take advantage of their customers. None of the movers sent were experienced. *** and *** had about 7 months experience and Akash was with the company for 2 months. None of them knew how to handle art whatsoever and placed items against original unframed art work, touched the front of the art with their hands and rested their knees against the art work while wrapping them. They continue to hold $100,000 of my belongings *** in exchange for full payment for their services.

Moving reservation confirmed by LGM's booking agent on June 19th after discussion re the number of furniture pieces and boxes/bags to be moved (ultimately less items moved than on list provided to agent). Move involved moving one second floor bedroom plus a main floor couch, an elliptical from basement and approximately 5 boxes in the garage of a townhouse. I moved to a ground unit walk-up condo (parking within 20 feet of direct unit entrance). I was provided with an estimated move time of four hours total including travel time from the company's office (photo of estimated move duration available). 10:15am on July 16th, I was contacted via telephone by one of two movers sent to complete the job and told that their ETA was 11am. Actual arrival time was 11:30am. I myself placed half of all my boxes and bags on the front lawn to be loaded into the moving vehicle upon mover arrival while I waited. 11:30am I informed one gentleman that I was scheduled to work at 5pm and the move needed to be completed by 3:30pm at the very latest. Both movers the spent almost 30 minutes in the back of the truck. During this time I brought the remaining boxes and bags from the second level to the main floor to be loaded. The movers were excessively slow throughout entire duration of the move. My bed was completely dismantled unnecessarily. I informed the movers that complete disassembly was not required but my input was dismissed. 20+ minutes were spent attempting to take my couch apart and looking for tools to do so after movers were repeatedly that no tools were required and they were shown how to do it. I expressed my concerns to both movers that the move was taking way too long. At one point, one gentleman asked me for my WiFi password. When all of my belongings were finally loaded almost five hours after the work began, I spent over 20 minutes cleaning up and folding stair and floor runners myself to help speed things along. I do not know what the movers were doing at this time as they were not inside the house. An additional 20 minutes on top of this time were spent securing the truck. Upon arrival at my second residence there were 15-20 minutes spent trying to figure out issues related to the truck's ramp. Several trips were made with limited items (eg one plastic grocery bag containing a single pair of shoes). I called the company to express my concerns over slowness. I reiterated that this move should not have taken more than 4 hours, as it never has in the past, and this was the time frame also estimated by the booking agent. I was informed that the company "never provides service quotes" (screenshot available). I was also informed that the movers would allow me to speak with a manager upon job completion to be sure that I was satisfied with the service prior to payment. I was unable to attend my scheduled work shift as it continued to take a ridiculous amount of time for the movers to unload. I waited around numerous times for the movers to hand me things off of the truck to take into the unit myself. My bed frame arrived scuffed and was improperly reassembled. Photos available. 7:15pm move completed only after doing half of the work myself. I was informed that the total would be $950. The gentleman refused to connect me or provide me with contact information for a manager. Movers refused to leave premises without complete payment. As a single female alone at my residence, I felt completely unsafe, intimidated and taken advantage of. I was forced to provide complete payment simply to get the movers to leave. Despite numerous requests for invoice/receipt, neither has been provided to date. I have also discovered significant damage to the front entry way caused by the movers. I also paid a $100+tax deposit to book services on June 19th. Ultimately I was overcharged for the services provided.
