What ever you do do not buy any Lexmark printers. Twice I have had the same exact issue with my Lexmark PRO901 series printer. Apparantly the have a diffective left hinge on the top lid of there version of an all in one office printer. They replaced my printer with another refurbished printer and within two days I experienced the same exact problem. The worst part about this experience is calling there technical support, which is now Indian based. These people are ridiculous, they are like robots over there, they are trained to follow and say there procedures by a script and reality is you get nowhere with them. American companies are going down the drain hiring individuals from different cultures whom have no knowledge on how to think for themselves.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
are you sure you really talked to lexmark? maybe you were not reading the website properly. they are not allowed to get a credit card information. Remember this, there are several websites who claimed that they are authorized Lexmark technincians but to the fact, they are just frauds. I don't know who you talked to. need to think first before posting.Okay?
I went on the Lexmark website to get help with installing my new printer.
This company took $14.00 right away from my account but never provided any service. I asked for a refund imediately but this fee is still on my account.
I phoned the Lexmark company directly, and they helped me with my problem for free!
I want the $14.00 refunded imediately because no service was given to me.
The Lexmark company said they have never heard of this before.
Thank you
Purchased Lexmark Printer/Fax. It was defective. Had connection problems. Sent replacement and returned original with all parts. 2nd model also defective. Called Customer Service 3 times in one day, 1st the ink, then fax, then printing. Customer Service had me do tests and cleaning using up all the ink, so had to purchase additional cartridges at $80. That ink was used up too with more tests and cleanings. Sent 3rd replacement, all within 2 weeks, it was a shell with no parts, and returned other model. Had to wait 1 week for parts, meanwhile going to Office Depot for printing/faxing at additional expense. That replacement was also defective. Could not install printhead. Went back to Office Depot, they could not get parts to fit or unit to work, so got refund and purchased a Cannon with no futher problems. Lexmark refused to refund the money I paid for the additional cartridges even though it was their fault with excessive tests and cleanings that caused the problem. All they cared about was making excuses, not fixing problems!
I think the numerous comments against Lexmark says it all ! You are lucky you could even find cartridges, as only Staples carried the brand I needed. The best thing I did was return my Lexmark All-In-One and replace it with a Canon that works right !
Before I get to my concerns. I should able to get to the website without spending 15 min. trying to get thru your promos. ! When to the Walmart North of Dalisbury. I brought a double pack cartridge (black/ Color). Replace the Cartridges. I did the test. The cartridges did not work. Tried two (2) more times. I when to the store . I tried to explain the cartridges inside the box were different then the label on the outside. I had my receipt plus the test print out. I could not get my CASH MONEY... I explained again and again. I was not ASKING for YOU to GIVE me anything. I wanted what I paid for and I wanted the cartrideges for my printer!
3-25-16 I updated my McBook Air to elCapatain OS from Yosemite. The printer quit working. After Apple tried to troubleshoot it with me, I had to call Lexmark. After being on hold for 68 minutes I finally speak to someone who tell me it will cost $79 to fix the driver on line! Or $119 if I wanted a year's guarantee of service! I could buy a MUCH NICER damn printer for that price! I will NEVER EVER buy Lexmark again!
