Gas Dryer
We purchased a gas dryer from lg.com on 7/24/21 and it hasn't worked from the beginning. It arrived 8/16/21, was installed the next week, and will not operate. Numerous calls to customer service, two service technician visits, and no resolution. Promises of calls from the "escalation team" at LG within 24-48 hours but we've never been contacted. We are now told it takes 3-5 business days. This has been going on for five weeks.

LG refrigerator, Five Months to resolve my issue
My refrigerator has been broken for 5 months and my issue is not resolved, plus Really bad costumer service. Linear compressor failed and have been getting the runaround, As it stands right I am waiting on a refund. Since the
last responce 18 days ago have not heard back and no money. Customer service is really bad, they never respond in a timely manner, always take a week or more to hear from them.

LFXS26596S French Door Refrigerator
Won't freeze ice, won't maintain freezing temperature in the freezer compartment or proper temperature in the refrigerator compartment. Constant temperature is 54 degrees in both compartments.
This problem started on 5 Sept 2021. After five calls to LG and their promises to contact repair person, no calls returned.
With each call they say they have no authorized repair people in West Virginia, although we have contacted one repair service who says they receive work orders all the time from LG. Without a work order from LG we would have to eat the cost of repair and void the warranty.
Warranty is for five years and the refrigerator is two years old.

LG Dishwasher LDT5665ST Hybrid Condensate Dry ... this should basically State No Drying...
The word Drying added in any way in connection with this dishwasher is 100% misleading and untrue and Dishonest.
When we purchased this dishwasher we 1st noticed that it does not dry. Cleans ok and I thought I must be doing something wrong but that was not the case.
Condensate Drying is a lie. There is not heater not a hybrid it simply does not dry.
Saves you the cost of a heater in each unit, false advertising for the case of profit.
Truly dishonest and the unit without ability to dry is jus junk.
I may as well just wash the dishes myself as I'm going to have to dry them anyway.
I was a real LG fan until this dishwasher came along.

Refrigerator
The LG customer service for appliances repair has been delaying my urgent request for over a week now. I requested to speak to their higher managements, but was also giving runaround. The refrigerator has been having issue since day one. I have been trying contact them daily to fix my refrigerator, and it has been burden my daily life and my job. I need them to fix it and extend the warrenty or give me an upgrade.

I really don't know how to approach this situation, I have a 15K LG Acer solar system, installed last year. Since the time that it went on line I had 600W of electricity produced. I have contacted the company that installed the system. To have the system brought back on line. I have been told by Jim Sweitzer he had contacted LG and was told that the system was working, on different occasions he has promised that there would be a person coming to the house to repair it, then he told me that he had ordered the parts to have it repaired ( I asked how can you repair something that you have never looked at ), the promises has now been going on for 6 months. Last week My ceiling has started showing that there is a water leak where the system has been installed. Jim Sweitzer represents your company and doesn't a line with the customer care that you are projecting and seems to be a very poor representative of your company.
I contacted a different solar installer to see if they could repair / get the system on line. They asked who had installed the system. After informing them they did some research on the company. Informing me that the BBB certification had been revoked, Additionally on other sites there are complaints by employees of not being paid, and installers that has preformed jobs that have not been paid. I was then told that they were allowed by LG to work on systems that were installed by a different company.
On a personal note most of the time that this was going on was wife was in and out of the hospital with a terminal disease, on the 15th of July she passed. I now had the time to pursue this problem.

On July 5, 2018 from Home Depot in Missoula, Mt. and on June 30, 2021 my refrigerator quit working. I called LG on 7/1, 7/5 and 7/8 2021. Finally a repair technician from A & E came on July 21, 2021 and said it was a bad compressor. On August 9, 2021 the compressor was replaced and the technician left without checking to see if refrigerator was cooling, it WAS NOT, and another appointment was scheduled for 8/12, 2021 and the technician did not show. Another technician came on 8/18/2021 and said the Evaporator was bad. Another technician came on 8/23/2021 (RNN210820082827) and said refrigerator could not be repaired. I paid $1715.46 for the refrigerator and will attach payment info. I think I am entitled to $500 for loss food and no refrigerator for 58 days. Phone contact is [protected].

Hi Ten years ago my father and me wanted to buy tv . I bought an LG Tv ( 42-inch 5600) about . My father immediately bought a 42-inch Sony TV I always thought the LG brand was better but ... Three years ago, my TV had a problem connecting to the HDMI port, and it gradually went down. The repairman later said that most of these samples from the LG brand suffer from this problem due to the lack of coordination between the information supply and the cooling of the device, and for this reason, this sample was no longer produced. I paid a lot and the TV was repaired. Now my TV has found this problem again. but my father tv is ok . without pay any damages at all. I want you to pay the damages for its repair, because this defect in the design of your brand. Because I trusted your brand and I think it is not fair for me to pay for your mistake. LG OLED65C9 LG 65" 4K OLED TV
I purchased an LG OLED65C9 LG 65" 4K OLED TV for £2, 299 from on 17th October 2019 - 18 months ago via Amazon, Order #[protected]
The TV screen will not come on although there is power to the TV and the remote works ok and you can hear the TV respond with a click from the remote but the screen remains blank. I have already been in touch with LG the manufactures support team and they said it sounded like a faulty screen or possibly the main board but most likely the screen. I was told to contact Reliant Direct customer service who supplied the TV which I did but they said that the TV only has a 12 month warranty and to deal with LG the manufacturer. LG then told me I would have to deal with the retailer.
I am quite appalled by this given the price I paid - £2, 300 and LG told me that I would have consumer rights protection if the retailer proved difficult to deal with, but in fact LG are being difficult to deal with. They have admitted that the fault is likely to be the screen and this is covered by their 5 year manufacturers warranty but they have refused to repair or replace it.
I am fed up with being pushed from LG to the retailer Reliant Direct and back again and so would be very grateful if you could help.
It is quite likely that the screen is faulty and this should come under the manufacturers warranty which is 5 years. This TV was LGs top of the range OLED TV only 18 months ago with a price tag of £2, 300 so one would expect it to last somewhat longer than this.
Please can you help as I do believe I have statutory rights given the relative newness of the TV and the high cost of purchase.

Aug 17, I had to lodge a complaint because the microwave stopped working.
Despite having complained same day, LG repair service agency at Haldwani (Megha Services) have been most unhelpful. The technicians blame each other for not getting any information on the complaint, or that I am too far from where they are (Haldwani is twenty-five Kms from my place).
Additionally, Ms Kavita Pundir, (LG customer service employee stationed in Dehradun) is not being any help at all, and is refusing to pick up my calls.
Finally, yesterday, a technician visited, and said the touch panel etc. needs replacement. While it is unbelievable for me how a product like LG can have such a critical part breakdown in less than a year, it is the lackadaisical attitude of the service staff including Ms. Kavita Pundir, an LG Employee, and the "no-one cares" attitude that is really causing me untold anger.
Yesterday and today, the LG repair service agency has been giving me the same story (the part will take 3-4 days to be delivered, and then when the technician can make it, we will see).
Requesting you to take this into cognisance and expedite the repair job at the earliest.

Both refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling on my almost 5 yr old refrigerator. Started with phone calls to LG on 7/26/21. It's now 8/17/2021. They sent out A and E Repair who determined it was the compressor and ordered that and other parts. Scheduled repair for 8/17/2021. No one showed up. Called A and E
They said order was completed! What! No it's not! They said we have to reschedule for 9/13/2021. Ridiculous! Called LG again. Said we can't use another repair company because A and E ordered the parts. This is beyond ridiculous and terribly terribly inconvenient living out of coolers. I'm ready to throw this refrigerator out and but a new one that's not LG. We are beyond upset. LG said they will try and escalate this repair. Yeah, right. I doubt it. So so much time wasted sitting on hold.

"White" LG Dryer does not match "White" LG Washer in color
When our GE washer stopped working, we ordered an LG Washer in WHITE (one of two options, the other being "Graphite-Steel") from Home Depot. Even though our old dryer still worked, because we wanted a MATCHING washer/dryer set, we also ordered an LG Dryer in WHITE (again, the other option was "Graphite-Steel") from Home Depot. The washer was delivered first, and, a few weeks later, the dryer. We didn't notice at first, but after a week or so we noticed that that the two LG appliances did NOT match. At first we thought maybe it was a lighting issue, but, no, the washer was on shade of "white", the dryer a completely different shade of "white. My wife noticed the selector knobs were also different, but it's the difference in color shades which is extremely annoying.

I bought my LG Dishwasher about 3 weeks ago. My old dishwasher was 20 year old, still it never smelled bad. The new LG dishwasher smells so bad, I don't even want to open it. I just don't know why it smells. The old one never smelled bad even after 20 years. I always rinse all dishes, spoons etc. before putting in the dishwasher. I actually waste lots of water just to rinse it, so may be it would not smell so bad. But still it smells bad. I tried putting vinegar. Nothing works. It is under warranty. And LG company should do something about it.

LG Refrigerator
I have (now had) an LG French Door refrigerator purchased in 2015. I'd call that fairly new at 6 years. First issue with it was the condenser that caused ice to form behind the vegetable and fruit drawers. Last issue was it died on Sunday, August 1st. When I checked my service contract, which I had purchased EVERY year since the warranty ended, it had expired. I had received no notice of such. When I called, I was told service contracts were no longer offered, then told they were offered to
"a select few". Not sure what that was supposed to mean except a blow off of my complaint. When I requested service, I was transferred to customer service and told a service person would arrive between 8-12 on August 5th. I was given an approval number to give him so that we wouldn't be charged. When Thursday came and no service person showed, I called. After an hour and a half on the phone and four transfers, I was informed that there was no record of a service call being set up. None of them had any idea what an Approval Number was. They asked for my claim number (which I was never given) and the phone number of the service person (also not provided that). Bottom line: I was lied to and lost five days when I could have been looking for a replacement and lost a lot of food in the process. In these days of diminishing supply chain, that was the LAST thing I needed to face. Then, Imagine my surprise when I received an Expiration Notice (my plan expired two and a half months ago. Nice timing!) and an invitation to reup. Interesting that it arrived ONLY after I called for service. I now have a new refrigerator and it is not an LG. I do have the exact LG refrigerator in another property and fully expect it to die very soon and it also will not be replaced with an LG.

LG Product Quality and Customer satisfaction after trouble
2.5 years ago I bought 49" LK5900 PLA Model LG TV for my parents who care a lot about the TV because of the deep functionality of the product. They were not able to use the functions, they were just turning on and off.
The warranty was for 2 years and no troubles had happened during this period because they were using very carefully.
6 months after the warranty the TFT monitor of the TV was defected suddenly and service asked $370 to fix which was not fair. They can evaluate the situation under customer satisfaction without asking for some costs because the problem had happened just after 6 months and my parents were using the TV very carefully and no service demand was requested in the past.
The problem can be evaluated under bona fides conditions but LG Electronics guys are not gentle against old people for such cases.
SO please don't buy products of LG Electronics

Both purchased March 2019 and look brand New inside and out. But both have broken. Paid$3320.00 for what we thought was a smart purchase. Both are now sitting in the garage.
