9-8-22 I called trying to get my claim closed as I can not find anyone that I hve tried to contact to work on my fridge. I call LG and ask if they can send someone out that they know. I was told yes 3-5 business days. It is now 9-21-22 and still on hold for over an hour trying to get someone to help me! It has been a month with no fridge cause I called prior to the 8th getting someone to come out and once they seen it’s LG and what was broken it’s under warranty from the lawsuit! I kee being told 3-5 business days to get answers to have someone LG can find to get it fixed! I NEED a fridge please! Family of 4 and mini fridge doesn’t cut it!

Fridge Quit
My fridge that i purchased last Sept 2021 up and quit this June 22, 2022. I had the LG tech come try to fix it, He could not. so he put in for us to get a refund. Nothing but the run around for 3 months now. have been lied to everytime i call , they say the refund is processing and expedited. NOW today Sept 21,2022 i get an email saying i need to RESEND everything i have sent numerous tiems. AND they want the original sticker out of the fridge that i dont have. i have a picture because i needed the info off it the day i had to call LG when it quit working. We got rid of the fridge because we had to get a new one. And like most people we dont just keep a non working appliance in the house just to have around. My frig. stopped working. Called LG customer service they gave me phone #'s of repair places to call. No one will fix this frig. I called every local appliance repair shop in a 60 mile radius. No one will deal with this LG refrigerator problem. They all say they are junk and can't be fixed. My warranty on the compressor is 10 years old and the frig is just over 5 years old. What good dose a warranty do if no one will fix it. No one at LG customer service seems to care. Class action suit is over and I'm stuck with a lemon! Lost all my food and patience! Would never buy a LG product again.

To whom it may Concern:
Please note that I requested to repair my washing machine through srilankan abans service hotline on 24th May 2022 and received reference number is SOLGWM240522F0365.
Although technician came and charged the visiting chargers. I had to contact the hot line several times to get the estimate.
Estimate received on 20th of July 2022 for a new PCB change and instructions given by Abans hot line to pay half payment to do the repair within two days.
payment was done the following day and sent the slip through whatsapp.
I received a call from Gampaha service center on 3rd August 2022 and confirmed that they will come on 04th August to repair the machine. I was waiting but no one came or didn't inform me that they will not come.
Another day I got a call from Abans technician and he asked the location to come for fixing the new PCB but when I informed the location he recognized me and informed me that he has received a PCB of top loading although I have a front loading machine.
Then they wanted to repair the pcb since they don't have stocks. One of the technicians removed the pcb for the repair. After a few days they wanted to bring the machine to their service center. but they didn't pick it.
1st of September, Srilanka Yakkala branch manager informed me that they will fix the PCB at my home. Although it was fixed, at least the machine is not switched on as earlier. I can't trust your service since this was handled in a very unprofessional way.I have contacted the abans service hotline several times to get this done. Although they promised to call me back never contacted me. when call center urgent transfer the call to a manager he disconnected the line as well.
I'm really disappointed regarding your LG service and never buy abans product again. Please refund my money which was paid for the new PCB.

I have a LG Refrigerator that is barely 2 years old. Stopped cooling today. Bad compressor. This is the 2nd LG Refrigerator I’ve purchased within the past 8 years to stop cooling due to a bad compressor. Now either I spend $600+ to fix it or buy a new Refrigerator (definitely a different brand!). Many appliance repair company’s do not want to work on a LG compressor because it’s either to difficult to get the part, they won’t warranty the repair because LG parts are notorious for failing, or it’s a difficult repair if they can get to the compressor. My luck, my Refrigerator went out after the deadline to file a claim against the LG Class action lawsuit with wad February 2022. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER LG PRODUCT! My LG Microwave which was only 6 months old, went out. Took a 6 weeks and a complaint to the BBB to get them to respond to fix it. This week it’s going to cost me $300 to fix the oven igniter on my 4 year old LG Stove ! Done with LG !

My LG refrigerator stopped working on 9/6. I paid $89 for an appliance repair service to come and look at it. They reported it was a bad compressor which was covered under warranty and would have to contact LG for repair. I have contacted LG several times and now they are telling me I have to wait until 9/19 - 21 for a repair man. I'm a diabetic and cannot go without a refrigerator this long. I've told them that several times but I'm still getting the run around.

These two appliances had major issues within 3 years of being used. We only use the machines 2 or 3 times a week. The washer's pump needed to be replaced after no longer working. The dryer's control board needs to be replaced as the circuit to stop the dryer from continuing to spin after the cycle is over, is stuck open. The total cost for these 2 repairs is the same as purchasing one unit new. There is no customer support to replace these items, even though the problems are common across the washers and dryers made by LG. This used to be a good reliable brand--not anymore. I am extremely dissatisfied with the treatment when called about any possible reimbursement for what are know issues after a quick internet search.

I purchased a washer and dryer on 3/18/19 and extended warranty at Best Buy. Around 8/30/2021 I called LG because the selection dial on the washer kept either sticking or going backwards making it hard to select a wash cycle. They referred me to call Best Buy because of the extended warranty. The technician came out, diagnosed the problem and ordered parts. Technician did come back and replaced the parts. Fast forward to today, almost a year I’m having the same problem. I called Best Buy and they said extended warranty has expired. I called LG the end August 2022 and Sept 6, 2022 and was told I had to pay for the repairs. This is ridiculous and it seems like this is going to be an ongoing problem.

I purchased a refrigerator from LG that stopped working. I reached out too
LG for repair service. There was no repair service listed for my area. I requested a full refund. LG agreed. According to LG, the refund was issued on June 29, 2022. As of today, I have yet to see a refund of $1,070.52. I have sent emails and called LG customer service. To no prevail, I have received no refund. This is becoming ridiculous. I am still paying for a refrigerator, that does not work. Not only that, I had to purchase a new refrigerator that cost more money.
lg oled tv burn in
Bought an LG OLED65B7A-U in Jan 2018 from Best Buy.
Burn in is obvious at the bottom of the screen with green letters 'ALERT' and some other unclear characters. The burn in appeared about a year ago.
I contacted LG Electronics Customer Support in June 2022 and received a couple emails telling me to run Compensation Mode, which I have several times. I also have tried other 'Pixel Cleaning' steps from the settings mode. Nothing helps.
LG asked me to send pictures of the TV with the burn in. I did, and the pictures clearly show the burn in.
Now, and for a couple months, LG will not respond to emails.
Desired outcome: I want the burn in fixed, or TV replaced, or a refund........in that order. This TV is too expensive to treat as a 'throw away'.
Dishwasher
Purchased a LG Signature dishwasher, with taxes and installation over $1800, less than a year ago. Error code yesterday, customer service refused to open a repair ticket unless I started taking panels off, turning off electricity, and waiting 24 hours for the situation to resolve itself. Explained I have just had cancer surgery, live alone and cannot remove panels or perform maintenance they were requesting. Asked to speak to a supervisor, was told none were available. Customer service rep kept insisting that I try to resolve the situation myself. Still have no resolution. I have a major kitchen remodel coming up, and there will not be a single LG appliance purchased due to this type of treatment, and I will certainly spread the word.

LG refrigerator
We purchased the fridge in November 21. It worked well and was quiet. We were happy.
Starting in February it started to buzz/hum loudly. It sounds like an alarm clock going off. The paperwork we received with it said that the buzz/hum is normal and it would do it occasionally. It buzzes for HOURS on end.
It's very annoying.
I called LG about it and it is considered a 'cosmetic' problem and not covered under the manufacturers warranty. We had purchased an extended warranty through TrueBlue so I called them.
The run around there in a nutshell: TrueBlue has to verify it is not covered under the manufacturers warranty. If I wait until that runs out then I turn to the the 3 year warranty I purchased through TB, they still will not cover it.
I still have to pay for a repair man and his milage to have a 10 month old silenced.
Not happy and it's too late to return it and find one that works, NOT LG.
Desired outcome: Fix it so it runs quietly again.
Appliance Package rebate
On [protected] I purchased an appliance package from Bill Smith Appliance in Cape Coral Florida The package included Washer, Dryer, Refrigerator, Dishwasher ,Range and Microwave with a $453.50 rebate. I have not received the items and the rebate claim date has expired. After several e-mails and phone calls I spoke with LG promotions which is an outside vendor in the UK
and can not make any exceptions. I find it hard to believe that I am a dissatisfied customer that has not even received the appliances

I purchased this on June 3,2022 and after my installed it was working okay until the other day when I went to open the door of the washer and the spring fell out on the floor and not it is broke again. I feel like the company should replace this free of charged due to some type of defect. We did have the five extenened warranty and before it expired I had fuller's appliance come and check it oput due to the water not completely getting the clothes dried out enough.,he said it was working . Now this is the second time this plunger has come out and I feel like it should be replaced by you at no cost. I feel like this part should have lasted more than just 2 1/2 months. I have not been satisfied wiht your LG washer and dryer and the money we paid for this set. the best set we ever bought was the sears brand.

LG French door fridge
I bought this fridge brand new from A big box retailer in June of 2021. The fridge is spacious and large and everything was A ok until just a few months back. The French doors (side by side front doors ) of the fridge open and located on their inside are 3 storage bins on either door so 6 in total. The 2 on the right side developed cracks and the middle one on the right side completely broke off in half and then on the inner storage bin on the left side which are smaller in size also has developed a crack. I'm beginning to think this particular fridge may have a manufacturer defect regarding the storage bins as we do not put much in those storage bins and can't fathom what could even cause such a thing to happen. LG please help!
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate replacement bins sent out after spending over $2300 on this fridge just two years ago.

I bought an LG refrigerator from Lowes in January of 2020. In July of 2022 the compressor failed and we subsequently lost all contents of the refrigerator and freezer. We immediately contacted LG and they refused to honor their 5 year parts and labor warranty and left us hanging with no repair and no available repairman in our area. We repeatedly asked for help and got none. We had no choice but to buy a new unit because of their inaction and unwillingness to pay for parts and labor. This is a breech of contract, per the warranty terms. There had been a previous class action lawsuit including this model for this exact issue and LG not honoring their warranty. It has closed out and although we are still within the 5 year parts and labor term, we are not able to get into the class action lawsuit. Part of the settlement of the class action stated that LG was to take better care of future issues by having readily available techs and by honoring the warranty. LG knew at the time we contacted them for help that this was a known issue with this model yet they still refused to help us and tried to place the blame on our use of the refrigerator.
Desired outcome: full refund on original purchase price.

My journey with LG repair started 5/24/22. My 3 1/2 year refrigerator stopped cooling. Two weeks later and 2 service visits later, LG determined that the unit was not repairable. 6/3/22 LG said they would process a refund for $1,598. 7/13/22 I received an email with the official refund offer letter. I was told to sign it, attach the serial number sticker and send a photo back to them. I returned the requested information 7/14/22 by email.
I have made multiple contacts to LG with no answer if my refund has been sent. We patiently waited for 3 weeks and no refund yet. I am no contacting them 2 times a week and always assured by their staff that the refund department will contact me within 24 to 48 hours.
8/19/22 Leam will update me by 8/22. No contact since. 8/26/22 Jay will update me. It is 8/29/22 and no one has called/emailed or text me that the refund has been sent. My current case number is CNN [protected].
We purchased another LG with the knowledge from a written offer of a refund. Now we have a credit card bill that we are paying for this new unit. Can anyone help us? LG Customer service says that we should have our refund.

LG top loading washing machine
Small crack started at hinge near what appears to be an area where there is possible metal screws or rod under the plastic lid. The crack has now ran the way and starting to gap. The crack has now completely cracked. I called customer service today. I was told it is not covered. I have owned washer for less than a year. The washer has not been moved. It has not been cleaned with a produce that would cause it to crack. Nothing has fallen on the lid. I am 67 years old. I know how to use a washing machine and how to put down the lid.
Desired outcome: The top load top cover be repaired or replaced.
Broken Microwave and Poor Customer Service
I bought an LG Microwave in November 2021 and within 7 months it stopped working. It was covered under warranty, so I called LG customer service. Here is my saga of the WORST customer service EVER!
1) LG sent out a service tech to fix the microwave and they had to order a part to fix it. The tech called me to tell me the part was not available - they could see in the order system that the part was listed as backorder.
2) I called LG to ask what to do now. Their customer service rep. told me to have the service tech close the service ticket so that LG could open a new ticket for my microwave to be considered for "refund or reimbursement." The LG customer service person explained that they can only have 1 ticket opened on an account at a time.
3) I called the service tech back and told them to close the ticket, indicating the part was not available and was on backorder, as the LG customer service people indicated.
4) I then was given the run around by LG...talking with a total of 9 different customer service people. I had to re-send copied of receipts that I had already sent. I had to get the part # from the service tech for LG. I was hung up on. I was told repeatedly that someone from LG customer service would call me back...no one ever called me back. I was told my claim was elevated to the "elevation" department who could review for a refund or replacement. This run-around happened for weeks. AND every single time I called, I was put on hold for 10 minutes while they read my file...and then we would re-confirm the details of the issues, each time...9 different times!
5) Finally I was connected with someone at a higher level of LG Customer Service. She told me that there were multiple mistakes with the way my case was handled... and that when the LG customer service person told me they were elevating my case, they didn't. (So I had waited 5 business days for a call, that never came because the last LG person I spoke with didn't do anything.) This higher level customer service person told me that she has recordings of all 9 of my calls and she has reviewed them and is very apologetic. She said she has elevated my case to the "Presidential" level, which is above her and their highest level of customer service that LG provides. Someone from that presidential level would be calling me within 24 hours.
6) The Presidential level customer service called me and left a message (I missed the call)...stating that my broken microwave doesn't qualify for a reimbursement and that he would be happy to re-schedule a service tech to come out and look at my microwave. WHAT? I am not kidding! This person didn't give me a phone number to call him back at, and instead texted me and now will only communicate with me through text. When I asked to speak with him, he replied that "we can handle this through text."
7) He has since explained that because I was the one who canceled the service tech fixing the microwave, it doesn't qualify for a refund. (ARE YOU KIDDING? LG told me to have the service tech close the ticket so that LG could move the issue up to the next level!) I only did what LG told me to do!
8) When I texted him and asked him to connect me with someone above him to talk with, he texted back that "He is the highest level of customer service. There is no one above him that contacts customers" Well, his customer service skills are very poor.
I have now been without a working Microwave for 7 weeks. I have been given the run-around by LG talking with 11 different people (9 regular customer service people and 2 higher ups) in customer service. I have been VERY patient. LG's customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and their "highest level" of customer service won't even speak to me, but instead insists on texting me.
HELP? Can anyone help me get a new microwave?
Desired outcome: 1) I would like an apology for the way I've been treated and the run-around I got. 2) I would like a refund for the cost of my microwave. 3) Please fix your customer service.
