On October 26 I hit a deer. I filed a claim, [protected]. I sent in pictures to them upon request. Without discussing it with me, they deposited $1,500 approximately in the checking account they withdraw from on a monthly basis. I got a separate estimate from a body shop and it was $6,619. Once Liberty received that, without discussing it once again, they cut the body shop a check for $2,700. They told me the by email the check was sent on Nov 25th and to allow 5 to 7 days for the body shop to get it. As of Dec 4, it has not been received. As of Nov 21, I cancelled my homeowners policy after finding a new carrier that was $2000 a year cheaper. I have been told numerous times a refund check of $450 was issued on that policy and sent on the 21st. As of Dec 4, I have not received that check. They are telling me to wait until the end of this week. They are either not telling the truth about when they are mailing checks or they haven't been mailed at all. It does not take 5 to 10 days for mail. They won't advise where the checks are mailed from either.
