cr*p company
Do not shop here if you have a problem the couldn't careless! Zero customer service and the quality is just as bad! Quality is sub-par at best, return and refund policy does not exist and you aren't told this until after you make a purchase and then it's downplayed! Do not shop here or you will be sorry! Boo! I pray this dump goes out of business. Macy's has better quality, customer service and store satisfaction policies in effect! Do not shop here! Do not shop here, do not shop here, do not shop here, do not shop here!
poor customer sevice
Once you buy something from this store it's yours. Terrible customer service or for that matter no customer service. No return policy. I bought a mattress that was substanially firmer than the floor model. They refuse to do anything about it. I smell lawsuit!
Do not shop at living spaces! Owner grover geiselman doesn't give a rats behind about the hard working customer that dishes out their money only to be scrwed over by this place! Do not buy here you will be sorry!

Couldn’t agree more they are terrible
My daughter went to living spaces and was approve for 5000.00 so she decided to buy a sleigh bed once they delivered and set up to my surprise they had the planks for the bed so they told us to call tomorrow and they will bring them back well she did and they kept giving her the run around kept saying they on the truck for delivery then they not they on back order then they called yesterday said they would be delivered tonight then again they called back and said they are on back order. This been going on for 3 weeks now. Now they had the nerves to tell me to find the planks at a store somewhere else abd they will credit me 50.00 dollars I said that us not her job when she purchase through you guys so they keep saying they have to call back because it us ob back order her bed is unstable and they dont care. I told them to take the planks off there floor model they said they can not do that. Custoner service is bad abd you can not get a hold to a manager or the store you brought the bed from the owner Grover Geilesman should be ashamed of himself for not wanted to help his customer when they buying furniture through his company. We are ready for them to pick everything back up and cancel her credit but niw thet wont call back. Angry customer worse service ever I will never purchase again through them totally nightmare.
Yes this company is bad and makes out on a sale even if the furniture is defective, a restocking charge! how in the hell are they going to restock defective goods? this place and customer service is horrable at best, the owner needs to be sued...if anyone wants to start a class action against them let me know I will be right beside you all.
This Rating is far ABOVE what they deserve. Should have checked out the complaints against this company before I purchased a special order sectional. Supposedly this is a high end sectional. I beg to differ. My wife and I have had this sectional for about 5 months. The first day after we received this sectional we could not get the brackets to line up and lock it together. Second day I rested my arm on the armrest and it collapsed. Then my wife and I noticed that the cushions when sat on collapsed all the way to the frame and the saggy springs (which dip way to low). We are busy people so we did not address the matter immediately. We recently visited the showroom to buy more furnature after having this sofa for about five months. We spoke there to a manager and addressed our concerns with the sectional that we bought. We went over and sat on the the same sectional on the showroom floor that we had recently purchased. The quality was a hundred times better, and this sofa gets sat on all day long buy the customers. The manager said no problem we'll take care of you. He referred us to the warranty department (Big Mistake). I dealt with Laura Raena who told us to send in some picture of the sectional. We did as she requested. We then contacted her after the picture were sent to find out what was going to be done about it. She told us sorry we cant help you. So I spoke with her manager John Benson. John told us the same thing. He also said the pictures looked fixed, as if we positioned the cushions in to take the photos. I asked him to send out a technician, which I was told they would do, and they refused. I told him I would be happy to pay the technician to come out. He again refused. I'm guessing its becuse I have a legitimate complaint that they don't want to document or replace the furnature. Steer clear of this company unless you want to take them to court.
tempur pedic bed
I purchased a Tempur Pedic mattress. It came with a 90 day return policy and two free pillows and free sheets. Well after 2 1/2 months I can't stand it any longer. The mattress doesn't dissipate heat and I wake up drenched in sweat. The same thing happens to my wife and she won't sleep on it. Well when I inquired about returning the bed per the agreement I was told that I would lose $607.00 because of a $200.00 restocking fee, $90.00 pickup fee, $180.00 for the pillows, $120.00 for the sheets and I can add to that $100.00 for the special cover that they will not let me return. So there you are, $707.00 I lose on a $3000.00 purchase. So I can understand the restocking fee but they should call it something else because I doubt a mattress will be resold. I can accept the $90.00 pickup fee. Where they lose me is the pillows and the sheets. The pillows are made of the same material as the mattress so why would they refuse to take them back. They are just as hot as the bed and I can't use them. $120.00 for sheets is over the top also. It seems to me that Living Spaces makes their profit whether I keep the mattress or return it. I was aware of all of this going into it except how awful the mattress is so I have nobody to blame but myself. I have posted this to warn others that Tempur Pedic mattresses are like sleeping in an oven. The salesperson will tell you how wonderful the mattress is and never mention the heat and trust me on this, the heat is bizarre. Like a dummy I didn't ask how much a pillow or the sheets cost so there again, I can blame myself. To anyone considering a purchase I would recommend that you refuse the free pillows and free sheets or wait the 90 days to take them after you have decided to keep the mattress. That would have saved me $300.00.

Living spaces suck with their return policy we will never ever buy anything from them Again. We also purchased the temperpedic cloud Prima, a bed frame, and two temperpedic pillows... and hate them all!
Did living spaces try to work with us on returning Anything? Nope! Not at all!
We even wondered if they are selling fake temperpedic beds... Because how can so many people love this bed.. And we can't stand it! And how come a full foam bed make so much noise every time we get on and off... Also... The motion transfer is ridiculous. We have had memory foam mattresses before, and we have never encountered these issues in the past.
We hate living spaces! They are crooks!
I personally would never buy one of those mattresses due to the heat factor, but I'll let you know a few things about them. The store should let you do a re-select for free, seeing as germs are transferred into mattresses and it's very un-hygenic to resell a mattress. I suppose the sheets and pillows came free with the bed, so when you return the bed you must pay to keep those sheets and pillows (but they should let you return those as well). And you could eliminate the pick-up fee if you drop it off yourself (if they let you of course). Good luck finding a better bed!
mattress and reclining chairs
My 80-year-old mother bought a $530 dollar pillowtop mattress in July 2009. By February 2010 there was a significant, permanent, deep depression in the middle of the mattress. Living Spaces has a procedure for defective merchandise: the customer pays $50 to them, which they promise is passed on to an "objective" inspector who comes to the house to determine if the mattress is defective. Hmmmm, not only does the consumer have to trust that the assessment is objective but gets to pay for the privilege. You decide for yourself whether this process is fair and unbiased, or if you think that this is just $50 more for the same mattress.
She also bought two reclining chairs. They will not "lock" in the most laid back position. This is after the gentle use that my mother gave them in only 7 months of use. Living Spaces will send "someone" to look at them for $50, but they make no promise that the chairs will be fixed. Or she can load them in a truck herself, bring them to the store, and "someone" will look at them there. They make no promise that anyone qualified to repair them is at the store. You decide for yourself whether it is worth it to buy reclining chairs from Living Spaces.

return policy is a scam
Bought a sofa with significant wear and tear. Spoke with Manager, customer service and everyone told me the same thing:
- upon purchase - with pickup - I waived all of my return rights including warranties
- upon purchase - even with store delivery - I can only exchange the item, cannot get a full refund
- In my case, they flat out refused to consider any remedies even without reviewing my order or offering to inspect the damaged sofa.
Each person I spoke with from the company, rehearsed the same scripted responses above, which leads me to believe that this is not a one bad store, but rather a corporate policy.
Of course, I can sue them, or dispute with my credit card, but it is a waste of time. I'm only hoping that this review will help the next person from being victimized from this company. Horrible, horrible customer service. Stay away.

I agree with you on this one, I do think that for the most part it's corporate policy. Their idea is to move that cheap Chinese made furniture out the door and to move on to the next sucker, or customer. That company is shady.
damaged table
Once again Living Spaces Furniture sells a customer a damaged product. When the delivery drivers delivered the table they sub standard job in putting my table together. They (E&M trucking) left screws out of the table legs and damaged the extension arm. Long story short, be careful when dealing with Living Spaces customer service and delivery team.

selling damaged furniture and fraudulent contract
Buyer beware!!! Living spaces furniture store fine print tells you that you can refuse to take delivery of damaged furniture. In case that happens, you will not be charged restocking fees. What living spaces doesn't tell you is that first, they will take back the damaged furniture, and then they will turn around and charge you not only a $99. 00 fee for...

LeRae the owner had entered into a contract with me for services and despite over 10 phone calls and emails, she has failed to make good on her promise to pay. I just have a problem with business owners who turn out to be deadbeats yet still solicit business and expect others to pay. This experience with this company has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I know that I will not be recommending them to others.
I have had this dining room table for 14 months now and it has cracked everywhere on the base and I paid $2700 for the set and it should not have done that. It is very poor craftsmanship! I have attached pictures below that will show you . It has cracked
I placed an order for a new custom sectional 48 hours ago. I want to change the color and they want to charge me 25% of that to do so. Why? I contacted the supplier and they have the order but have NOT STARTED on it. Status

I haven't received my bed yet. It's supposed to be delivered April 12. Each time living spaces says they don't have it in inventory.
Why did you get order if you don't have it in inventory?
Living spaces is reaping people's money by selling defective stuff made in china and in top of being defective they convince you to buy "VIP CARE WARRANTY" which costs an extra $99.
I put a claim to replace my defective sofas, they said the warranty doesn't not cover inside damages or pealing off.
People don't waste your money.
I spent 1800$ on furniture from living Spaces and I added 190$ on vip care when I call VIP care to come and clean some stains. They told me the time when it happened so I wasn't sure if happened in a week or more so they revus to set appointment and clean
The stains. It will be the last time to shop from this store.
