Scam free indoor dropoff on living spaces website
On Living Spaces website we saw the option of "FREE indoor drop off" and that's why we selected the option, which we really didn't need. However, after we placed the order, we got the email receipt showing they also charged a $19 "indoor drop off fee", which is ridiculous. We right away gave the customer service a call and let them know we dont need the service, please canceled it. And we were promised to get a refund on that, and now a month later, we didnt get the refund at all. So we gave them a call again, they just straight up tell you we cannot refund you on that. Living Spaces should stop scamming people on their website. I am sure there must be a lot people weren't aware of it at all!
Bonatera sofa
This is the worst experience I have had till date. I ordered the sofa month and half back. Customer services kept cancelling on me and on the call the Manager Anna said that they have rights to cancel on the customers. They also said they are not responsible for third party company XPO who delivers the product. After waiting for month and half and continuous conversations with manager Anna and specialist Ethan Alias they said they have stain on the sofa and rudely disconnected the call. I really want someone to contact me right away as I would want to file a complain against the customer service manager and also sofa never got delivered. Other request was COI which was never sent to me even after promising within 5 days.
Warranty on sofa
Purchased a sofa at Living Spaces on Oct. 2018. The cushions on the sofa started looking lumpy the following month. Called the warranty company and the person came and told me that the problem was not covered under the warranty. I understand that that may have not been covered, but the fact remains that the furniture sold by this store are not to be trusted for quality.
Desired outcome: Just let me know why this problem could not be resolved by the company when the purchase was less then a month prior the issue encounter
Bilbao grey power glider recliner w/massage & power headrest, product #267664
We purchased two (2) Bilbao Grey Glider Recliners w/Massage and pwr headrest, product #267664 on February 9/2022, Order # SO-[protected]. We've had these recliners for less than a year and one decided it was not going to recline and it is now in the recline up position and the remote will not allow me to recline it down. I filed an online warranty claim on Saturday, 8/20/22. On Monday, 8/22/22 I contacted Living Spaces and spoke to a representative by the name of Rachael who initiated the processing of my warranty and requested I send additional pictures to her where she uploaded them into my Living Spaces Account. On the afternoon of 8/22/22 I received contact from a repair company by the name of SAWS Enterprises who apparently is the contractor for Living Spaces repairs. I called the number provided and spent several minutes on hold and never was able to speak to a live person to schedule an appointment. It appears the soonest we can get a repair scheduled is on 9/22/22. That is a month from now and is totally unacceptable to be without our recliner for that long. We paid over $1000 per chair and this is the best Living Spaces can do? I am totally dissatisfied with the warranty service that is available to us. I would like a manager representative to contact us so we can make arrangements to return both chairs to Living Spaces. I have never been so unhappy with the lack of follow-up and warranty service from a company as I am with Living Spaces. This is totally ridiculous, unacceptable, and unprofessional. We have spent thousands of dollars in the past at Living Spaces and have been loyal customers to say the least and this is the type of service we have come to accept. No way! In short, I don't feel that we should have to wait over a month to have our recliner repaired. Thank you for hearing me out.

My sofa was lost by your delivery people
ZERO STARS. I ordered a sofa from living spaces ( I have purchased several things from them while living in arizona) and while they had no problem taking my $950.00, they sofa on their delivery truck, a company called XPO (with a bbb rating of D- and over 1300 active complaints). After countless numbers of phone call to both living spaces, who has done absolutely nothing and more calls to XPO, i was just told that they have lost my sofa. When I told living spaces that this happened, they basically said, "oh well" and essentially, tough luck. I have never experienced such horrific customer service. Once living spaces takes your money, they could care less about what happens. Do not waste your money. There is far nicer furniture and definitely far better customer service available at many furniture stores. And DEFINITELY NEVER ORDER ANYTHING THAT YOU CANT TAKE HOME WITH YOU.

delivery of furniture not what ordered and damaged to boot
Please don't order online thorough living spaces no customer service, everyone passed the buck . order chaise lounge in June delivery was early July .The chaise lounge was not only wrong color it was dropped from rear of truck and damaged . The drivers refused to take the chaise lounge back and from there the excuses and lies begin from living spaces customer service. I was promised they would pickup the chaise and replace it with what was ordered undamaged they never did either and never refunded money.

Wrong Size Slats for California King Bed
We ordered a California king mattress and a and bedframe from Living Spaces on 7/20/2022. It was scheduled to be delivered on 7/23/2022 between 8am-3pm.
Delivery arrived around 9am. The delivery men were great but, they were sent with the wrong size slats and I was informed that the possible soonest we would get the correct size delivered was 7/24/2022 leaving us without a bed to sleep on for a night.
After getting disconnected from customer service twice and being told that the only thing they can do is give me $32 + tax back and a $50 GOODWILL gift card (not sure how that makes sense) the delivery men left to carry on their day.
A supervisor was supposed to call me back which she never did (she called an incorrect number that I informed the man I spoke with was not the number to call) I than had to wait another 30 minutes to speak to another agent who also informed me all she could do was $32 + tax and a $50 goodwill gift card. After asking to speak to a manager, she said none were available and I'd have to wait up to 24 hours. I said I'd happily sit on the phone with her until someone became available. She informed me that wasn't possible per "company policy" and that she would disconnect me if there was nothing else she could help me with which she than hung up on me.
I am now without a bed and am expected to wait 24 hours to remedy this situation + have to dedicate another entire day for a delivery that may come at 8am or 3pm.
This is horrible service. Do better!
Desired outcome: $500 refund for inconvenience, being hung up on 3 times and not having a bed to sleep on after paying $2400 while having to dedicate another entire day to wait around for slats to be delivered and a call from a manager.

On around 4/16/21 I purchased a Presby white extension breakfast bar, rug and two stools, over 1000 dollars' worth of merchandise. I was encouraged to purchase the stools although the table was going to come in at a later time, so I did. When I received the rug, it was damaged and had grease stains, this was worth 350 dollars They offered a 50-dollars discount or otherwise I would have to drive to the store to return it. I agreed on the 50 dollars as it would be cheaper since the grease stains where on the back of the rug and I could deal with the damaged ends of the rug. The stools came in, although they had grease stains, I did not make a big deal, I cleaned them and I kept them. I finally got my table, when I opened it, it was broken from one corner and had other damage. Honestly, I was so upset since It was mother's day and I had all my family at my house ready to set up the table and eat, we all had to eat on the floor. When I called, I was offered a free set up and a 100-dollar gift card to goodwill. I thought ok. they are trying to make things right. Second delivery, table was just dropped the delivery guys stated there were no notes to set it up. I had to call again, they finally sent a team, keep in mind this is already on like the 2nd week on trying to get my table. The show up to set it up, again it was damaged and thet left it at my place they did not take it. At this point I asked to speak to speak to someone in corporate, I was told I can only speak to a manager. They come for the 3rd time bring another one and set it up, again damaged. I'm beyond frustrated, I paid 700 for table and stools and I expect to receive quality furniture. I really want this table because its perfect for my 600sq feet apartment is perfect this is the only reason why I put up with all the mistakes. When I called again to upload the pictures of the damaged table the link did not work, at this point I said I didn’t want it. All I got was an email giving me a date when it would be picked up. I really hope I hear back from someone in corporate, this type of service is unacceptable and I’m so disappointed on the customer service I have received and the poor quality of the product.

Couch came in dirty and damaged. They were able to place an exchange for damaged items but don't want to take responsibility for the stains on every piece. I have called them multiple times, they promise to reach back but never do.

Butler Lift-Top Coffee Table With Casters
I first purchased this coffee table in March and had to have three different deliveries because the product came damaged every time. There were some instances where the package was missing significant furniture components like the legs or the entire top part of the table! I had to take 3 different days off of work to wait for the delivery and then spent several hours on the phone dealing with reshipment and rescheduling. On the third delivery, there was damage to the corners of the table as if someone dropped the table on its side. I was so tired of dealing with the deliveries that I accepted the product as is with the discount. I was promised this discount and it was never reflected on my account and was left "opened". I found this out a day ago when I called to ask for an exchange and explained by the discount had not been reflected on my credit card. So not only did I have terrible customer service with delivery and the product that I spent almost $500 on but then I was never given by discount until a good employee rectified the issue.
When I was passed along to a higher manager, I explained my frustration with the table and that I would like an exchange, not even the money back just a table that I am happy with, she denied my request saying she couldn't accommodate the request. The table does not roll properly the table falls down when it is pulled up without warning! While I know this is outside of your 7-day return window, which in my opinion is too short, I am asking for an exception to be made for the 3 terrible delivery issues and the non-credit return. I am hoping this will reach a manager that cares about customer satisfaction and service. I am so unhappy with the company and if I am not able to make an exchange I will close my credit card and NEVER shop nor recommend the company to any friends, family, or colleagues.

I WONT EVEN GIVE 1 STAR but it does not allow me to move forward ... I had purchased the 2 nightstands and that got delivered on Feb 10th; when I purchased the item they did not tell me I have 7 days to review and return etc; as standard practice, I thought I have 30 days. After I received the order I had to get to Austin for work, and hence I did not open the item. I got back on Feb 26th and opened the box only to realize the nightstands were discolored and hence called the customer service to ask for a refund, they mentioned that I had 7 days to return it and since I passed the timeframe I cannot do that anymore. So, I wrote to their CEO/ leadership team asking for help and they refused it as well. This is unacceptable, we are in a COVID situation, and people have work to address. And if you get away by selling damaged/ discolored items, this is not done. i need my money back and I am not going to take the store credit nor open any cases since I have product insurance. I don't want to deal with Living Spaces period.

The furniture I bought are horrible in quality ! The couch is 6 months old and you sink into the couch . The mechanisms are cheap and the side arms aren't anchored well at all . To shorten this everything that everyone else is or has gone through we have gone through as well . Perhaps a lawsuit of sorts is in order ?

Furniture not delivered
I ordered 2 different beds in April. They were not special order, just regular website order- the delivery was set for May. It is now the last week of July. The warehouse has lost both of my beds- then I had delivery of one of my beds but the side slats are for a different bed - and NO ONE will help resolve this - I keep getting the run-around.
Tempurpedic Mattress not delivered
We ordered Tempurpedic mattress - (the most expensive in their catalog- Luxebreeze) which was promised to be delivered on 07/09. The delivery confirmation was received on 8th and 9th and the mattress never showed up. Then we went to the store on 11th and got confirmation that all our items (mattress and base) are locked and loaded on truck and it will be delivered on 12th. The truck came and only delivered the base without the mattress! Now when we call to ask for status the rude and arrogant customer service rep is saying that mattress will be delivered in August. The item was never in stock and they had a system issue! You need to spend 3 hours on the phone with customer service to get this answer. We got a new home and ordered this mattress and now we are left to sleep on a carpet! We spent so much time on phone to talk to customer service on what our options are and they only said that the mattress will now be delivered in August and the system had an error - the item was never in stock! 3 hours is a win with their awful customer service. In my case, it took them 10 days and they did not provide a helpful solution, they forced me to cancel the order multiple times to charge the 10% restocking fee.
Theft and breach of contract.
Living Spaces takes peoples money and does not deliver product. They send email after email extending delivery dates attempting to run the clock on fraud claim statutes.
Delivery
My husband and I placed an order back in December for which we have had scheduled a delivery date for today (for which we had received an email confirmation). Today, when my husband called to inquire about the delivery time, the lady told him that there was nothing on the system saying that we were going to recover the delivery today, and that we needed to reschedule for another 2 weeks. I called again to asked if the delivery could be earlier than that because I worked and I had asked for today off to be able to received the shipment. However, the lady that answered me, Elizabeth, was very rude and condescending, and told me that there was nothing they can do and that the delivery is not even for the date they had told my husband earlier today. That on that day they were going to send the furniture to the hub. Which I considered an inconvenience having to wait another month to be able to received my furniture. There is a big problem as for communication goes with customer service and the delivery company and also, a lack of good customer service. I worked in customer service for a while now, and the service I was provided with today was super poor from this lady. This company needs to fix the way they operate and communicate to each other and to customers.

Recent order
We ordered (order number SO-007487676_03080803) a bed frame from living spaces. Our bed frame arrived on March 8th but when we started to put the bed frame today (we were waiting on our chest to arrive before we put the bed together) and there were a lot of scrapes, cracks, uneven wood, metal defects and wood chips on the bed frame. I was pretty sad to see this as i loved the bed set color. Please see pictures attached. I did see that it is a 10% restocking fee and at this point it would be more work than needed to return the item but instead would like a percentage of the purchase credit back on our credit card. Delivery of cabinet
I spent my whole saturday driving over 150 miles to inspect curio cabinets at various living spaces stores. I needed two. Found two. Purchased two, scheduled delivery full service. While loading one of the items on the truck for delivery they damaged it to the point that it is unsellable. They can not get another they say. They have two other similar items shipping to them at the end of march 2021 - it is feb 23, 2021 as I write this. When they come in they will not hold them, call me so I can come look at them, and if in good shape, buy them from them! Are you kidding me? You damage an item that the customer has been waiting 6 months to find, then you won't hold another in order for most likely (unless damaged or color doesn't match the base of the cabinet - long story) sell two of the items... That $3k. What is wrong with these people/business! They treat customers like crap and do nothing for them when they screw up. All businesses run into issues. It is how you fix them. Take care of your customers and they will continue to further your success. Treat them like crap and you end up with bad reviews that other potential customers will see and not spend their hard earned money with you. Stupid is what the management of living spaces is. Customer service lessons, you can find plenty on the web for free, do you care to drive business and success? Think living spaces, and pull your head out and turn it on!
