Hello,
On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, I traveled on the 413 from Penn Station to Babylon. The fact that an electric scooter was left in the middle of the island with a passenger sitting next to it and refusing to move it is unfortunate.
In my view, that's a safety concern. I tripped over another scooter earlier accidentally because it was placed behind the seat and it was too long and still sticking out. I reached out to the chat line for customer service. The pictures are attached and I had a chat with Sandra. The regulations for an electric scooter were provided to me by Sandra, which was extremely helpful.
I inquired with Sandra about the upcoming actions. Due to my safety concerns, Sandra did not reply to me. It's very distressing that I waited for 12 minutes without a response, especially since I've been riding the train for a long time. Now you have electric scooters. It appears that the electric scooter owners on the train don't care where they put them. My safety is of utmost importance, as is the safety of the passengers on the Long Island rail. I was dissatisfied with the safety of riding the train due to Sandra's insufficient response.
Sandra's customer service was awful.
