I try to rent a car in maggiore office central station Milan. The boy stay 30 min to take me with another lady. When I ask him to hurry he say he don t have a car for me. He take the next customer and of course he have cars available. After I wait another 20 min he still say he will not give me a car becouse he don't wanna do it! Don't go to maggiore in central station Milan never!

We rented the car online for a week, payed for it by credit card.
When we came to get the car they wanted to take a 700⬠deposit. We didnt have that amount on the same credit card and so we gave another credit card. However they did not accept it and refused to give us the car promising us a refund.
When we called customer service to get a refund they said it was not possible. The staff was very rude to us as well and not helpful at all. We discourage anyone from using their services.
Ps: we were not the only ones at the station with the same problem, a couple came in right before us complaining about the same problem.
This company is a disgrace. Utter [censor] i must say. Will never use their services again.

THIS COMPANY IS A DISGRACE
Booked a car in Bari Italy, had insurance bought from auto-europe. Were clear with Maggiore that we don't need an extra insurance (even repeated twice). The agent nodded, filled in the papers in Italian, which we signed. Just to later find out they actually added a full-on insurance for us! (155EU extra). Tried to solve this over email and phone, but with no luck - their customer service is non-excitant.
6 months later, noticed that they charged our card again for 60EUR - no explanation nothing.
AVOID THIS COMAPY AT ALL COSTS - if they get your bank details they'll make sure they charge you...
They are really a disgrace! The car I rented was damaged by pothole in Sicily. Car had no spare wheel but only foam. Called Palermo desk who confirmed that the extra insurance they FORCED me to take covered recovery and car replacement. 3 weeks later back in UK my account was charged € 436 for recovery truck and for petrol having ignored the fact that both were covered by the additional insurance as shown clearly in the agreement signed on collection. After nearly 5 months I am still waiting to be reimbursed being blinded by excuses. I am told to contact reclami@maggiore.it and the answer from them is to use a web form that will answer that is nothing to do with them and contact the agent that booked the rent!

We rented a car for this summer holiday in Italy, but the car was crushed. We bought the full insurance, so they did not charge us on this, however...
1. They got their car back and did not send us a new one. Our hotel tried to help us to talk to them, but they did not answer the calls when things happened, or they just said" no"
2. Our friend in Italy helped us to talk to them and got a replacement, but we needed to travel from the mountain ( Dolomites) to he sea ( Venice) to get back the car.
3. When we came back home, they sent an email to charge us for €2500 ! They said we over mileage 2000 km. We were just travel within Italy . There was no problem when we returned the car, however, they charge you when you backed home.
4. Their agreement are mainly Italian, but they are openly rent to international customers .
For sure, we will never rent a car with this company and never rent a car in Italy

They are not giving any logical answer to my questions...

Car rental
We rented a car through Maggiore in Italy.
There were multiple issues:
1) Horn was not working. They offered us to drive the car for an exchange to Milan (2 hours away). This is unfair since it would be at our own expense and wasting our time.
2) we received the car with 3/4 fuel tank and return it in the same way.
When returned the car in Malpensa (Milan Airport) we were told it was fine, but then Maggiore sent me the bill and completed an unautorized charge for extra fuel and the service of adding that fuel (together over 50 euros).
We called and complained, but Maggiore does not seem to care about customers.
We would NOT rent from them in the future. Other companies seem to care more about customers than Maggiore
I rented a Hyundai car, plate no:
IT GG777XK, from your office at Milan Malpensa Airport on 29 Aug to 8 Sep and drop off at Pisa Galileo Airport, rental agreement no : [protected], i paid with credit card total of € 1178.59 including deposit of € 334.59, untill today i did'nt get it back! Please advise. Thanks
