I canceled my membership and they keep charging me and are blaming me for not doing what their customer service rep was supposed to do. They refuse to issue my money back. They owe me money.
I got a 2000 Jeep Wrangler that I barely drive, mostly just on weekends
I got a 2000 Jeep Wrangler that I barely drive, mostly just on weekends. It sits in the garage most of the time. Everyone who knows me and my Jeep knows that I take really good care of it. So, I decided to take it to Marc 1 in Chelsea car wash to get rid of the dust before a big Jeep show the next day.
During the car wash, the wash tire hit my hood scoop. It broke the scoop, left tape on the hood, and made two dents. I had to wait for over a week and make three phone calls and a bunch of Facebook messages just to get them to call me back. And when they finally did (and mind you, the manager didn't even look at the damage), they told me they wouldn't fix it. They said it's because the part is aftermarket, the vehicle is over 5 years old, and they think it's dry rotted. But here's the thing, the manager didn't even see my Jeep in person, yet he's saying it's dry rotted!

I just got myself a brand spankin' new 2022 Ford Maverick, and I thought it was about time to give it a good ol' wash at Marc1 in Hoover, AL
I just got myself a brand spankin' new 2022 Ford Maverick, and I thought it was about time to give it a good ol' wash at Marc1 in Hoover, AL. So, I rolled on over and parked my beauty, ready to get her all cleaned up. But lo and behold, as soon as I stepped out, I noticed two nasty scratches on the hood, thanks to them spinning brushes. Ain't that just my luck?
I managed to track down the manager on duty, whose name slipped my mind, but it started with an asterisk or somethin'. Anyways, he took a gander at the scratches, checked out the security cameras, and then handed me an email address and phone number to reach out for customer claims. He mentioned that since the scratches were small, he wouldn't bother with an official report. The email he gave me was ***@marc1carwash.com, and the phone number was XXX-XXX-XXXX.
Once I got back home, I wasted no time in shootin' off an email to that address. But guess what? Turns out, that email don't exist! And to top it off, the phone number they gave me only connects to their local joint, not some fancy corporate office. Now, I'm startin' to feel like they're messin' with me on purpose, takin' me for a ride in circles. What the heck is goin' on here?

Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.
I didn't tell my husband about the new monthly plan and the $1 increase in price
I didn't tell my husband about the new monthly plan and the $1 increase in price. He got a new card at the car wash a few months ago because he forgot his card at home. A couple of months later, I noticed the price change on our bank account. I wanted to ask about it, so I went to the business, but they're closed for remodeling. I thought they would reopen quickly, but it's been almost 2 months now. They keep charging us even though they're closed. The other locations are not convenient for us. Today, I finally found a phone number to talk to a representative. They said they won't reimburse us for the time they were closed. This seems like bad business to me! Of course, I would like a refund, but my main concern is for the public. They changed our plan without telling us, and now we keep getting charged without being able to ask about it in person. And now they won't refund us even though they're closed. I'm paying for a service I'm not getting. There must be hundreds of people in the same situation as us. They haven't posted anything at the entrance to let the public know.
I'm writing to let you know that my car got messed up at the Marc-1 Car Wash on Eastern Blvd in Montgomery, AL
I'm writing to let you know that my car got messed up at the Marc-1 Car Wash on Eastern Blvd in Montgomery, AL. I went there around 1:00PM CST and followed the instructions given by the Marc-1 staff. While my car was being washed, one of the brushes hit the passenger side mirror and broke the glass. When I got out of the wash and checked the mirror, I saw that it was shattered.
I went to talk to the manager, Kenny R s/p', and gave him my information. I thought he would explain what to do next, but he didn't really know how to communicate it properly. So, I asked if there was someone higher up who could give me more information. But Kenny refused to give me any contact information for his supervisor, a corporate claims person, a district manager, or even a co-manager. It was frustrating.
To make matters worse, while Kenny was "inspecting the damage," he actually made it worse by cracking the glass even more. He even asked me if the mirror was already broken before. As you can imagine, his questions and refusal to help just made the situation more tense and didn't give me any confidence that they would resolve the issue.
Overall, I'm really disappointed with the way things were handled at Marc-1 Car Wash. They damaged my car and then didn't provide any assistance or support in resolving the problem. It's not the kind of service I expected, and I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.
I emailed the company at their provided address on 2/24 to terminate my services due to relocation.
I emailed the company on 2/24 at their provided address to terminate my services due to relocation in October. I also cc'd another company email found in the autobilling email signature. One address failed to receive emails according to Google. No notification came for the other address. On 2/26, I visited the local car wash to confirm my membership cancellation. The scanner failed to recognize my barcode, leading me to pay for the wash, which made me believe my cancellation request was processed. However, I was charged again recently. Despite paying for a single wash and the monthly fees, my request was ignored, and I was denied a refund. I was advised to have spoken to someone at the car wash or to have called to cancel using a different email, but this information wasn't clearly communicated in their emails. The listed email was non-functional, while the other didn't bounce back. The representative refused to escalate the issue or provide supervisor contact details, claiming it was in the contract, which I don't recall receiving upon sign-up.
