Masseys Disappointed by MASSEY's Customer Service: A Loyal Customer's Review

For years, I have been a loyal customer of MASSEY's because they offer a wide selection of shoes in both wide and extra-wide widths. Despite their higher prices, I don't mind paying extra for the comfort and quality of their footwear. Unfortunately, my most recent experience with MASSEY's has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

When my order was shipped to the wrong address, I contacted their customer service department to resolve the issue. To my dismay, the supervisor I spoke with was incredibly rude and dismissive. She made false accusations that it was my fault for not checking my shipping address. As a 63-year-old woman, I did not appreciate her condescending tone or her suggestion that I should "get up off my butt" and retrieve my package myself.

To add insult to injury, the supervisor hung up on me before we could resolve the issue. As someone who has spent over $850 at MASSEY's the past year alone, I was incredibly disappointed by the lack of care and concern shown by their customer service team. It's unacceptable for a supervisor to speak to a customer in such a disrespectful manner and then abruptly end the call without finding a solution.

Despite my years of loyalty to MASSEY's, I can no longer continue to shop with a company that treats its customers so poorly. Moving forward, I will be doing my research to find another retailer that offers the same quality and selection of wide and extra-wide shoes but with better customer service. It's unfortunate that MASSEY's has lost a loyal customer due to their own negligence and poor behavior.

Masseys Masseys Review: Inseams Too Long And Customer Service Disappoints!

As a savvy online shopper, I was excited to browse the selection at Masseys (masseys.com) for my latest clothing purchase. I found a stylish striped black track suit in a medium, which seemed to be the perfect choice for my size 10 frame at 5' 4". However, when the item arrived and I eagerly tried it on, I discovered a major flaw - the inseams were far too long! I estimated I would have to cut at least 6 inches off each leg just to make it wearable.

This unexpected issue left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I immediately reached out to Masseys' customer service to express my concerns and inquire about a return or exchange. However, the representative I spoke with only worsened the situation. She told me that the suit was designed for taller people and that as a 5' 4" person, I simply did not fit their concept of acceptable height. I was shocked by her dismissive attitude, as I have never encountered such a problem with online clothing purchases in the past.

After this negative experience, I would hesitate to recommend Masseys to other shoppers. I believe that any clothing retailer should take responsibility for accurately representing their products' sizing and fit, especially when it comes to online purchases. It would be helpful if Masseys offered more information about the height/length of their clothing options so that customers can make informed decisions before ordering.

Additionally, the fact that Masseys charges a fee of $7.95 for returns (even when the item is flawwed) adds further frustration to an already disappointing experience. Overall, if you don't meet their standard for height, it's best to shop elsewhere--unless you're confident in your alteration skills.

Masseys Unheard and Frustrated: My Experience with Masseys Customer Service

I recently had an experience with Masseys that left me feeling quite frustrated. I had purchased two pairs of heels, both of which unfortunately turned out to be too big, and a pair of kids shoes that were too small. I promptly returned these items, unworn, and was hoping to exchange them for the correct size. However, shortly after this, I had an upsetting experience with one of their representatives who called my house on a weekend and was quite rude to one of my loved ones. This understandably left me feeling uneasy about continuing to do business with Masseys.

Despite this, I continued to communicate with their customer service team regarding my returns. I let them know that the items were on their way back and informed them of the day that I had mailed them off. However, even though this was noted on my account, I still received multiple calls from representatives asking for payment on the returned items. This made me feel quite unheard as a customer and added to my growing frustration with the situation.

To my surprise, I recently received a bill from Masseys detailing the charges I owed them. Unfortunately, this breakdown made me feel even more frustrated. Not only did I have to pay a return processing fee of $7.95, but I was also charged a late fee of $15.00 and a finance charge of $2.49. On top of this, I still owed $45.98 due to not receiving the full credit on my return. I asked the representative I spoke with, Alyssa, about the money I had spent to ship the shoes back, but was told that it didn't matter since I used their label to send them. This felt like another blow to me as a customer who was simply trying to rectify a mistake.

Overall, my experience with Masseys left me feeling quite frustrated and unheard. While I appreciate their effort to provide a mailing label for the returns, I was disappointed to learn that this service would not cover the cost of shipping the items back. Additionally, the rude behavior of one of their representatives and the repeated calls from other representatives asking for payment on the returned items only added to my negative experience. While I may consider shopping with Masseys again in the future, I would hope that their customer service team could provide a more positive and helpful experience for their customers.

Masseys Unsatisfactory Lawn Care Services from Massey's: A Customer's Review

I have been a customer of Massey's for over a year now, and unfortunately, my experience has not been satisfactory. Last fall, I started noticing poor quality in my St Augustine grass, with weeds present on the side of my house that appeared to have been neglected in their treatment. Additionally, the grass in my backyard on the other side of my pool had died and turned brown, which I suspected could be due to chinch bugs. I contacted Massey's to address these issues, but their solution did not prove effective.

When they came to look at my lawn, they suggested that the problem might be due to my insufficient water irrigation, but I was surprised since I had an excellent irrigation system set up and watered my lawn three times a week. Speaking with my neighbor, I found that they had heard similar complaints from others who claimed that Massey's was trying to place the blame on the customer's irrigation practices.

Despite my frustration, I decided to give Massey's a chance to fix the issue, but unfortunately, the problem persisted. I was left with no other option but to terminate my contract with them. However, to my surprise, I received a bill from Massey's for $132.00, which I disputed since their service had been unsatisfactory. The $66.00 a month I had been paying them felt like a lot of money, and it appeared that they were coming by my home every other month.

Eventually, I paid the $132.00 after receiving a letter threatening to send it to a collection agency. I didn't want Massey's to ruin my outstanding credit, so I felt that I had no choice but to pay them. Instead, I decided to start fertilizing my own grass, and the results have been fantastic.

Overall, I regret my experience with Massey's and understand why they have a poor star rating. In the future, I will have to be more cautious when hiring lawn care companies and pay closer attention to their services. Sincerely, Mary Kumer.

Masseys Beware of Masseys: Unhelpful Customer Service and Extreme Prices

I was recently introduced to Masseys, an online store, while browsing through their catalog. I saw a pair of boots that I've had my eyes on for a while, and decided to treat myself to a Christmas present. I was aware that I would be paying more for the boots online, but it was worth it to me. Unfortunately, when the boots arrived, they were too big for me. So, I returned them and ordered two more pairs in different sizes. I went through this process because I always struggle to find shoes that fit me well. However, by the time I received the new orders, I had determined the exact size and width I needed. In the end, I spent about $149.00 on one pair of boots, and I was able to use a coupon code during the order process.

After all of the returns and exchanges, I received a final bill of $239.00. While I did use coupons during my purchases, I still found the final price tag to be a little extreme for one pair of boots. I called the customer service team multiple times to inquire about the charges and speak with a supervisor. Unfortunately, I kept getting placed on hold for extended periods, and I even got disconnected at times. It was frustrating that they had no problem contacting me to ask for money, but they couldn't provide me with the same level of attention when I wanted to address my concerns.

I also sent several letters to Masseys, hoping to receive some assistance, but it was all for nothing. I found customer service to be unhelpful and unreliable. There was only one woman who was actually able to offer me some assistance, but at the time of my last return, it had not been processed yet, so there wasn't much she could do to help me at the time. I was frustrated when I received bills of close to $500 for returns that still hadn't been processed.

In conclusion, I would caution anyone who decides to shop at Masseys to beware of the customer service team. They were unhelpful, unresponsive, and unreliable. It's disappointing to have such a negative experience with a company, especially when you're a loyal customer.

Masseys Unacceptable customer service and unresolved concerns with Masseys (masseys.com)

I recently had a negative experience with Masseys (masseys.com) that I feel compelled to share. While my first order was acceptable, my most recent order placed on June 29th, 2021, was not. One of my items was cancelled by Masseys due to unavailability and two of my orders were delayed until July 11th, 2021, which was unacceptable to me. When I cancelled the two delayed orders, I was not credited back for the items cancelled that I did not receive. Despite speaking to five different customer service representatives, the credit department and a supervisor, I still have not received a solution or a credit for my cancelled items. As a result, I will have to pay for items I did not receive.

I find Masseys' lack of customer service etiquette and unwillingness to resolve concerns unacceptable. I am incredibly disappointed and will not purchase from them again. Furthermore, as all stores are under the same umbrella as Masseys, I will no longer do business with them either. I am so appalled at their actions that I feel it necessary to contact legal authorities to discuss holding the company responsible for not only my account but also for others who may find themselves in similar situations.

I cannot stress enough how unsatisfied and angered I am with my experience and would strongly advise others to avoid this company. Dissatisfied customers like myself do not leave reviews out of spite or to ruin a company's reputation. Instead, we share our experiences to provide legitimacy to our concerns and dissatisfaction. Please avoid the frustration and disappointment I have experienced and take your business elsewhere.

Masseys Masseys: Poor Service, Fake Products, & Misleading Fees

Recently, I purchased a pair of Uggs from Masseys website. As someone with no prior credit, I intended to use this as an opportunity to build up my credit score with this purchase. However, shortly after I placed my order, I was informed that I would need to make a deposit of $56.78 in order to complete my order. I decided to pay for this using a prepaid debit card. But before receiving my boots, I was notified twice that my credit had not been approved, which caused me some concern.

A week later, I finally received my package. However, upon opening it, I discovered that the boots inside were clearly not authentic Uggs. I was very disappointed and immediately called Masseys to express my dismay and request a refund. After I had returned the boots, six weeks had passed (including the busy holiday season). Still, I hadn't received a refund from the company, which was frustrating.

To make matters worse, I then received a notice of a missed payment in the mail, which prompted me to follow up again on the refund status. When I finally reached a representative, they informed me that my refund had been processed in the amount of $24.00. This was unexpected, and I immediately expressed my confusion and concern. The representative then transferred me to a supervisor, who spoke to me unprofessionally, asking "what's going on" instead of addressing me politely. And while I explained about the bootleg product I received, the supervisor simply stated that my refund of $24.00 was already mailed and that there was nothing else to discuss. I became agitated and impatiently ended the call.

Overall, I found the operations of Masseys to be unacceptable. It seemed like they were taking advantage of their customers by charging for needlessly restocking and shipping items, even when customers had received nothing in return. I ended up losing over fifty dollars for a purchase that never arrived, and I felt like my concerns were dismissed by the company. It's clear that they need to improve their customer service, and I would advise others to be cautious if considering purchasing from them in the future.

Masseys Review of Masseys: Mixed Experience with Great Brands and Terrible Customer Service

Recently, I came across Masseys for the first time and I was impressed by the brands they carried such as UGG and Sorel, among others. Despite having the habit of reading reviews before making a purchase, I was so excited that I went ahead and ordered a few items. To my surprise, they shipped pretty quickly but upon delivery, one package was stolen. Fed Ex delivered the packages without notifying me or ringing my doorbell, which was quite disappointing. When I contacted customer service, I was met with an unpleasant experience with an obnoxious agent who was rude and interrupted me repeatedly. It was frustrating to communicate with her and explain what happened, but instead of listening, she continued to talk over me. She told me that Fed Ex doesn't have to ring my bell and suggested I should have requested a signature delivery. I was taken aback and told her that while ordering online, there wasn't a signature option. She tried to prove me wrong by clicking on the site, only to realize I was right, after which she softened a little. She then informed me that I would need to submit a tracer to get a refund or replace the stolen item. However, she refused to send it, citing that she had no idea which specific item was missing. Despite me telling her that an email had already been sent indicating the specific item that had been delivered and subsequently stolen, she still refused to help. After calling back and speaking to a different agent, who was more pleasant, I was finally able to request the tracer and begin the process of getting a refund. Unfortunately, it took about 2 weeks for me to receive my credit. The rest of my items were delivered without any issues. Overall, while the experience with service was terrible, the quality of the items I received was good. However, it is doubtful if I would ever order from Masseys again, as the service experience was frustrating and inconvenient.

Masseys Disappointing Customer Service & Sizing Issues: My Experience with Masseys.com

Shopping at Masseys.com can be a frustrating experience due to the sizing issues and inaccurate product descriptions. Although this company offers the option of returns, customers are required to pay for the return shipping, which sets it apart from other companies.

Unfortunately, there are also issues with the customer service. Recent experiences with Masseys.com have been less than ideal. For instance, a customer called two weeks ago to get help with the shoes they purchased for their son. Instead of being promptly assisted, the customer was transferred to three different people and spent 45 minutes on the phone only to be hung up on.

Another issue arose when the customer ordered seven items, but only six were delivered. The missing item was a black pair of shorts that the customer needed for their vacation. They inquired about the missing item, but the woman they spoke to could not find the order. A second call was placed, and the customer spoke to a man who initially suggested that the situation seemed "fishy." The customer then explained how they had been having issues with receiving items from other companies due to the pandemic, and their neighbor had even returned boxes of their orders. The customer service representative eventually agreed to send a legal document to the customer, but overall, this experience left a sour taste in their mouth.

It is disappointing to receive less-than-stellar customer service when making purchases online. Shopping at Masseys.com is not recommended as it has a low rating and poor customer service. If you want to avoid being treated poorly and wasting your time and money, it is best to find another website to meet your needs.

Masseys Massey's Footwear: Great Selection for Larger Feet but High Shipping Fees and Customer Service Issues

I recently had the opportunity to order from Massey's and I must say, they have a great selection of footwear for those of us with bigger feet. In my case, I wear a size 11 and it can sometimes be difficult to find shoes that fit properly. Fortunately, Massey's carries most major brands including Under Armour, Nike, Born, Earth, Jambu, and Pajar, making it easier for me to find the perfect pair.

Aside from shoes, Massey's also offers a variety of clothing and accessories like purses and backpacks. They even have a print catalog, although it only provides a small sampling of what they have to offer.

Shipping is usually quite fast, with orders arriving within 5 or 6 business days. However, I do have to mention that the shipping fees can be quite high. In some cases, I've paid over $15 for shipping on a pair of lightweight sandals. Returns can also be a hassle, as Massey's subtracts the cost of return shipping from your refund. I've had to return items in the past and while it's not ideal, I have never had any issues.

On the bright side, Massey's occasionally offers savings if you sign up for their e-mails. Special savings offers seem to come about once every 6 or 8 weeks or so and are often tied to a holiday or event. They also have clearance prices on occasion, but these are typically limited to certain sizes.

If you're a frequent shopper, Massey's has a line of credit plan that seems to function similarly to major credit cards. However, I will say that I once encountered a rude customer service representative when I needed to call in regarding an issue with my account. Despite stating upfront that I am hearing impaired and might experience feedback noise, the rep spoke slowly, loudly, sarcastically, haltingly, and condescendingly throughout the conversation. Luckily, when I asked to speak to a supervisor, the tone changed and the issue was resolved.

All in all, I would give Massey's a 3-star rating due to the high shipping fees and occasional customer service issues. That being said, I still order from them from time to time, particularly if I can find shoes that fit and don't need to contact customer service.

Masseys Masseys Needs to Improve Their Website for Better Customer Experience

I've had a few experiences with Masseys and I must say, I'm not impressed. I've tried to make payments on their website multiple times, but every time I enter my information and hit the submit button, nothing happens. It's frustrating to say the least. In today's fast-paced world, it's important for companies to keep up with the times and have a user-friendly website. Unfortunately, Masseys seems to be lagging behind in this area.

I've tried accessing their website on both my desktop computer and my cell phone, but neither one worked. I even allowed all of the usual cookies to help process my payments, but still no luck. It's clear that they need to do a complete overhaul of their payment system to make it easier for customers to make payments.

When I finally got a hold of a customer service representative and explained my difficulties, they didn't seem to care. My plea for a better website fell on deaf ears. It's disappointing to see a company that doesn't seem to value their customers' experiences.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend buying anything from Masseys. In customer service, every little detail matters. From purchase to payment, if it's frustrating to try to make a payment, who will bother to buy from them in the future? It's time for Masseys to step up their game and make some much-needed changes to their website.

Masseys Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Masseys: Charged Twice for Shipping and Accused of Lying

So, I had a bit of a rough time with Masseys. I ordered some boots, but they were too small, so I had to return them. I was told that I could exchange them and wouldn't be charged twice for shipping, but that's not what happened. I ended up getting charged twice, and when I called to ask about it, I got different answers from different customer service reps. It was really frustrating.

The worst part was when I talked to this one guy who basically accused me of lying about what I was told. He said that it wasn't their policy to do what I was asking for. I mean, come on! If that's not the policy, then they need to make sure everyone knows what the policies are and can give customers the right information.

Anyway, I'm done with Masseys. I'm paying off my balance and never ordering from them again. It's just not worth it to me to spend my hard-earned money with a company that doesn't value their customers or have good customer service skills. They really need to step up their game if they want to keep people coming back.

Masseys Terrible Experience with Masseys: Poor Shipping and Disappointing Customer Service

I recently had an experience with Masseys (masseys.com) that I must share. I ordered a pair of shoes that totaled to $27 in shipping fees on September 17th and it is now October 1st. Unfortunately, my order is still in transit and the delivery dates have been changing frequently. It is quite frustrating to see my package come so close to my location, only to be lost in transit once again.

Furthermore, I called their customer service on three separate occasions and was met with disappointment every time. They lacked any shred of personality or enthusiasm for their jobs, which made for a rather unpleasant experience. I was bounced around from one representative to another and had to repeat my issue multiple times. My only request was to either receive my shoes or cancel the order entirely, yet these basic needs were not met.

It is unfortunate that my experience with Masseys has been so unpleasant because I have fond memories of using this brand as a child. Sadly, I cannot say the same today. This is hands down the worst company I've dealt with and I highly doubt I will be purchasing any products from them in the near future. I truly believe they ought to invest in some serious interpersonal training for their customer service representatives or fire them altogether.

Masseys Disappointing Experience with Masseys: Delayed Shipping, Double Charges, and Missing Items

Unfortunately, my experience with Masseys (masseys.com) had been dissatisfying. I had purchased shoes for myself and my daughter, but it took over a month for them to arrive. While I understand that shipping can take some time, I felt that the company utilized incredibly cheap shipping methods that resulted in a longer waiting period. When one of the shoes didn't work out, I was appalled to discover that they charged me a second time for shipping. To add to the frustration, my daughter's shoes never even arrived. While they stated that it would take another month to find out where they went, I couldn't help but feel deeply disappointed and frustrated over the situation.

Overall, my impression of Masseys was extremely negative, and I would not recommend anyone to shop here. I would suggest to try out Fingerhut instead, as they might offer a better shopping experience. I hope that Masseys can work towards improving their service and shipping methods for their future customers.

Masseys Masseys: A Disappointing Experience - Unfair Refund Policy and Poor Customer Service

I recently had an experience with Masseys and unfortunately it was not a positive one. I had placed an order for four pairs of shoes/boots from their website. One of the items I had ordered was the KOKO boots by Bearpaw, which were priced at $89.00 on their website. However, I received a flyer in the mail from a shoe store that was not close to my home and they were advertising the same boots for $55.99. Naturally, I decided to return the boots to Masseys on November 10, 2018.

Several days after returning the boots, I also returned a pair of Skecher Dreamers on November 16th. Unfortunately, I had not yet received any refunds. When I reached out to Masseys for an update, I was informed that I would need to wait for 14 days. However, due to the Thanksgiving holiday, I was unable to get a refund yet even though both pairs of shoes had already arrived back at the warehouse.

After waiting a few more days for an update, I was still unable to receive a refund. When I called their customer service department once more, I was informed that the KOKO Bearpaw boots were not there yet. To my dismay, Masseys was only willing to refund me for the Skecher Dreamers, but not the KOKO boots, which seemed unfair.

I even tried emailing Masseys to see if they could help me resolve the issue, but unfortunately, my attempts were met with no satisfaction. As a result, I can't help but feel like Masseys is trying to take advantage of me, and I don't think it's right. Therefore, I strongly advise anyone considering shopping at Masseys to avoid them altogether.

Masseys Poor Quality and Fit: A Disappointing Experience with Masseys Boots

I recently ordered a pair of suede boots in both red and black from Masseys. Despite ordering an 8 1/2, these boots were way too big for me. I decided to return them, but it was disappointing to find that I had to pay $16 for the shipping costs. However, when I received the size 8 in the mail, I found that they were still too large. So, I had to return them again, paying another $16 for shipping.

After trying on the 7 1/2 size, I found that it finally fit; however, the quality of the boots was not up to par. Sadly, they lacked any arch support, making them difficult and uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. It was disheartening to find that these cheaply made boots were manufactured in China, as I had expected a better quality product from Masseys.

Interestingly, I discovered that I had actually ordered a pair of Women's Toe Warmers from Masseys catalog back in 2014 or 2015. I found these to be incredibly comfortable, so I thought that I would be able to get the same quality of boots now. Unfortunately, my experience with the recent purchase was subpar, which was truly disappointing.

Overall, I would advise potential buyers to steer clear of Masseys and Shoe Mall, as they may cause issues with arch support that could lead to fallen arches. In my experience, the boots I purchased from Masseys hardly deserved a rating of more than zero.

Masseys Masseys Charges a Return Fee, Be Sure to Read Policies Carefully

They waived the late fee for me and suggested that I pay the return charge fee which I did.

It was a frustrating experience to deal with this issue and I even requested that my account be closed. Surprisingly, this wasn't done and now I have an additional late fee and a return charge fee that I've already paid for. This has left me feeling disappointed in the service provided by Masseys.

If you're planning to purchase from Masseys, my advice would be to read through their policies carefully and make sure you're aware of any charges or fees that may be incurred. Masseys Mixed Experience with Masseys: Quality issues, Restocking Fee, Good Boots

I recently made a purchase from Masseys (masseys.com) and must say that my experience with the company has been somewhat mixed. Although I received my order promptly, I was disappointed to discover that one of the items I received, a purse, did not meet my expectations. In fact, I found the purse to be of poor quality and definitely not worth the $60.00 price tag. Subsequently, I decided to return the purse, only to later discover that I was charged a restocking fee for doing so. Needless to say, I was not thrilled about the extra charges, which made me question the overall value of shopping with Masseys.

Despite that setback, I have to admit that the two pairs of boots I ordered were a different story. Not only did the boots fit perfectly, but I was really pleased with their quality. Sadly, I cannot say the same for the Storm boots by Cougar. Within a few wears, the boots began to show signs of wear and tear, and several parts of their seams came apart. I realize that purchasing boots online is always a bit of a gamble, but it was frustrating to deal with a quality issue with the boots.

In summary, my experience with Masseys was somewhat mixed. While I was happy with the timely delivery and good quality of two of the three items I received, I was disappointed with the poor quality of the purse and the extra charges associated with returning it. Additionally, the boots, while of good quality, were not as durable as I hoped. For these reasons, I would encourage buyers to consider shopping locally if they want the assurance that any issues with their purchases will be quickly and easily resolved.

Masseys Outdated payment policies make Masseys a frustrating experience - A Review

In this day and age, it's ridiculous that Masseys still doesn't accept credit or debit cards for down payments. Plus, if you're required to make a down payment, they even send out a snail mail letter, causing unnecessary delays. It's frustrating to have to wait even longer to ensure that the shoes you want are still in stock. It seems like common sense for Masseys to allow customers to make down payments on their website, instead of forcing them to go through a slow and outdated process.

What's even worse is that they score your credit every time you make a down payment. Whatever happened to trusting your customers and allowing them to continue to make payments as long as they're in good standing? It's absolutely ridiculous and unfair to penalize customers like this.

Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with Masseys and their lack of customer-friendly practices. It's time to move on and find a store that values their customers and makes the payment process as easy and efficient as possible.

Masseys Great Credit Options and Quality Products, but Masseys' Shipping Costs Need Improvement

Masseys (masseys.com) is an online retailer that I truly appreciate for their credit options and for extending an opportunity to those who may not have the best credit. Having been a loyal customer for some time now, I can attest to the great quality of their products, especially their shoes, which always live up to my expectations. I usually stick to brands that I know and trust, and I am never disappointed with Masseys' selection.

However, my one issue with Masseys is their hefty shipping costs. I find it frustrating that it costs a whopping $20 to ship an order when most other companies offer free two-day shipping. I can't help wondering how much they actually pay the shipping companies and why they feel the need to upcharge the customer so much. Shipping also takes a long time, sometimes up to two weeks, which is not ideal in today's fast-paced world.

In my opinion, Masseys really needs to rethink their shipping prices, especially since more and more companies are offering alternative payment options like AfterPay to eliminate the need for credit cards. While I still love Masseys for their great credit options and top-quality products, I wish they could find a way to make shipping more affordable and faster for their customers.

Masseys Disappointing Experience with Massey's: Expensive Return Policy and Lackluster Customer Service

When it comes to purchasing footwear, Massey's (masseys.com) has been a reliable choice for me in the past. I've made approximately 6 or 7 purchases from their website, including both work boots and biker boots. However, my recent experience with Massey's has left a bad taste in my mouth.

In December of 2021, I ordered a new pair of work boots from them. The purchase process was smooth and easy, and the boots arrived promptly. However, a few days later, I ordered a pair of Born boots that turned out to be too big for me. I sent them back, but after waiting for two months and making two payments of $25 each, I was informed that I would not receive any money back due to having to pay return shipping fees and processing fees.

Granted, this policy is stated in their return policy. However, I did not realize that choosing the printed return label would not be free of charge. It was misleading, and I was unaware that a processing fee was separate from the return label cost. I spent $40.00 for nothing, and this left me feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated.

My disappointment with Massey's was further compounded by their customer service experience. I spoke to five different representatives and was even hung up on once. After three transfers, I finally learned that I would not receive any money back. It was a lackluster experience that left a lot to be desired.

Overall, while Massey's has been a reliable choice for me in the past, my recent experience with them has been subpar. I have no shoes and only money paid out, not to mention the shoddy customer care. As such, I would never order from them again.

Masseys Cautionary Review: Masseys' Lack of Insurance and Difficult Customer Service left me Disappointed and Vulnerable

I have been a customer of Masseys for several years and overall, my experience with them has been good. However, I recently encountered a situation that was frustrating and disappointing. Back in December, I placed an order that never arrived. It took me until May to finally resolve the issue, and the process was not easy.

When I called Masseys about my missing items, I was surprised to be connected to a foreign answering service, which I had not encountered before. After being transferred multiple times, I finally reached a supervisor who informed me that they had supposedly sent me a letter denying me credit for the missing items. However, I never received this letter. Even UPS admitted that they did not deliver the package, yet Masseys held me liable for the missing items because they did not receive the package back.

What was even more frustrating was that by the time I was able to get through to a supervisor, the 60-day window for credit requests had closed, even though I had been calling Masseys since December. It seemed as though they had intentionally dragged out the process in order to avoid issuing a credit.

What really bothered me about this situation was that there was no insurance for the items that Masseys shipped, which meant that neither they nor UPS could be held responsible for their disappearance. As a customer, I expect some level of protection when I make a purchase, and this experience has left me feeling vulnerable and unprotected.

Overall, I would caution other customers against being lured in by Masseys' credit offers. While they might seem appealing, it's not worth the risk of being on the hook for hundreds of dollars' worth of items that you never received because of a mistake made by the post office. It's an unfortunate situation that I hope Masseys will take steps to rectify in the future.
