I purchased two dresses from Milk and Choco in August.

First the shipment took nearly 2 months.

Second, when the clothes arrived, they were of a terrible quality, too large, and just frankly unwearable. One barely matched the picture on the site.

The site masquerades as an American or European site, but after looking on Trust Pilot (where it has a score of 1), it appears to actually be based in China. There are no contact details on the website, their Facebook page doesn't allow direct messaging and they remove any negative comments on their Facebook posts. They have an Instagram account but are not active. They are not present on twitter.

I have emailed repeatedly asking how I can return the dresses, but have receive no response. Other buyers say that they only refund once you have mailed all items back to China, which will cost a small fortune. And even then some people are stating they aren't getting refunds.

Shut this company down. It's a total scam.

After placing an order and not receiving it I complained to my credit card company. They are investigating the company. If the company disputes the investigation (within 35 days) I will find out more information via mail. If they don't dispute the $ goes back on my credit card. If everyone did this we would have strength in numbers...

TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT buy anything from this company! Still missing 1 dress I ordered over a month ago. Trying to return 2 others with no response from their customer service. Clothing is not as described. Poor quality and sizing chart is a joke.

If I could only put "0" stars! Beware and NEVER buy anything from this site! Very poor quality! I rarely post my reviews online, but this one I couldn't miss. Please DO NOT go based on reviews on there website as you cannot even place a review on their website. They are all fake reviews!

I wish I had seen these comments before ordering. We need to report this company to the FTC and the BBB and get them removed from any USA internet shopping sites. I had the exact experience everyone else did...received terrible clothing, unwearable and they tell you to email them for returns but they never get back to you. I considered just sending the dress back but without any documentation or directive LIKE EVERY OTHER DECENT COMPANY would give, I'm skeptical I will just pay the return shipping and not get refunded. They do advertise "FREE RETURNS" within a specified time period. SCAM company.

Do not buy from this company. There is no return process and the clothes are such poor quality (small, incorrectly sized, thin material, poor workmanship, stink (mine came smelling like cigarettes and basically will go straight to the garbage). I contacted the company immediately after the month it took to get them delivered. They come from China with no paperwork, shipping address etc. you will not get a response.

Don’t bother wasting your time or money

I am also disappointed to note that Trustpilot was contacted by Milk and Chocco who complained about my review. To date they have refused to answer my emails and yet are quick to delete any bad (real) review vs the positive (fake) reviews. I have so far edited this post three times now to remove what they consider defamatory words such as Scam. Did not think I would need to have such a moderated review on this platform. No doubt if I said something positive and nice my post would have posted. But there is nothing nice to say about this experience, Milk and Chocco or their joke of a service.

I have also reported this organisation to Visa, Amex, Australian Banks and Scamwatch.com.

Absolutely terrible. Very poor quality and clothes don’t match pictures advertised. Customer non existent- 6 emails and no response even though their website says they will get back to you with 2 days. I wanted to return my items but they won’t respond and there is no return address. It’s and absolute rort and the site should be shut down.

Agree. This company should absolutely be shutdown. I never received an email back from them about returning the dress I received which was such cheap fabric and not at all what I had purchased in the picture.

Who can stop this happening? In todays litigation society how can this still be happening. I too waited 2 months for clothes that looked NOTHING like in the picture & Really poor quality. I now can't get a response with return details. Does anyone know how to return goods?

I purchased a boho dress and they only respond to you with general questions, but when you email them about a return they don't answer. The dress was not even close and was so see through and not even sewn together and a broken tie. It was horrible. I have emailed them to no avail so I think a lesson learned never buy anything from China. This company is a total scam and bogus. I have also reported them to Facebook and have made many comments on the Facebook page with reports of Fraud and warning people to not buy. Maybe if enough people report them to Facebook they will get shut down, but I think all they do is change their name and continue scamming.

I wish I had found this message board earlier, because I just had the same experience as most people on here. I ordered the "Adele" dress and saw nothing but positive reviews and praise on their website and instagram account.
Then nearly 2 months passed and I hadn't received the dress. Thought this was very strange. It was to wear to an upcoming wedding as a guest and I assumed I had given plenty of time for the dress to be mailed. I contacted the company requesting a tracking number/inquiring about when I'd receive my dress, and the company wrote back an extremely generic email that answered none of my questions but stated I'd receive a tracking number once the dress was shipped. Finally received a tracking number- that gave me zero information except to say it was coming from China. When the dress finally did arrive, it came in a very unprofessional bag utility bag (the kind you'd get office supplies in or pens, or something unimportant) with absolutely no information inside. Nothing about the company, no policies, no acknowledgement, nada. Just the dress. The material was absolutely awful- the stitching was visibly deteriorating and the seams were all off centre. It looked NOTHING like the pictures. I want to return it immediately but I've read it will cost more to return than the dress was worth. Oh well- I hope this company shuts down.

I purchased 2 dresses from them over a month ago. I am now in a back and fourth email battle with them since I posted a bad review on Trustpilot.com. As soon as I posted the complaint, they replied 5mins later. They sent me an email saying they will refund my orders (without return) if I remove the bad review. They have since sent me an email with return instructions back to CHINA and are saying they will not refund my order without a return. I have also reported them on the BBB which I highly receommend doing. I would love to know thoughts on a business asking you to remove a bad review in return for a refund?

Took over 2 months for my shipment to arrive and the pattern isn't even the same as the product description. The dress is basically unwearable. Funny enough -- any bad review I leave gets deleted. This company is a complete scam.

Update -- they have just sent me an email trying to bribe me to cancel my review for a refund of my order. This is how they stay in business - get people to cancel bad reviews with refunds.

DO NOT BUY FROM MILK AND CHOCO —

I purchased three dresses (over $120) and have been emailing for TWO WEEKS now trying to return them. NO REPLY TO EMAILS. I have given up hope to hear from them, but I will post NEGATIVE REVIEWS wherever and whenever I can.

In addition, am FILING A FORMAL COMPLAINT with the Better Business Bureau — www.bbb.org — and I encourage the rest of you that have been RIPPED OFF to do the same.

I have contacted my bank now to try to reverse the charges.

I ordered a dress from this site I was sent the wrong size I have sent numerous emails to them on how to return it for my refund that they say they give They have yet to answer my emails Total fraud Has anyone gotten a response fro their credit card company about cancelling payment?

PLEASE READ! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE. I ordered my item in the beginning of May and received it at the end of July even though their website states it takes 5-10 business days. After a month passed and my item still didn't ship, I emailed them several times asking not to ship the item and have not received 1 email back. i finally received the item. The dress i received is a cheaper version of what was pictured. I emailed them several more times (over 10 emails) to return my item and still not 1 response. There is no phone number listed to contact them, email is the only form of communication. almost 3 months have passed and I have still yet to receive 1 email or a refund. I tried to leave multiple reviews on the website but they have not posted my review.

STAY AWAY! Ugh; totally agree! I should have looked into them before I ordered. They responded to my first email complaint that my item was on the way, then I got a shipping notice the next day. Of course that hasn't been updated and I haven't received my item. It's been over two weeks now. Going to try to get my credit card company to go after a refund for fraud and not sure if it matters but will report them to Facebook too since I see their ads there as well.

I ordered two summer jumpsuits at the beginning of May. They looked adorable in the catalog! I finally received one of them in the middle of July and the other a week after that. I am 5'6" and 130 lbs. I sometimes wear small, but most often medium, so I ordered mediums. The first jumpsuit fit fine, but the fabric is very low quality--a cheap polyester with that weird flame-retardant feel, is the best way to explain. The second jumpsuit is a complete disaster! It is made of very cheap "gauzy" fabric, and so small that I cannot even get the zipper halfway closed! It says "medium" on the tag, but it is made for more like a medium-sized child! Both items came in unmarked plastic bags with no tags and no return paperwork. I ordered these items from a catalog I received in the mail, and there was absolutely no indication that the company is China-based. It will be impossible to return these items -- so it looks like I have learned an expensive lesson. I may wear the first jumpsuit, but I'll just hope to find someone who can (and will want to) wear the second. Don't trust the pictures, don't expect quality fabric, don't expect accurate sizing, don't expect to get the items for several months -- don't waste your money. :(

I have had exactly the same problem as all the above. This company was advertised through Instagram, and hence how I came across it. The clothes are appalling quality and no way to return the products other than to email them asking for the return address. Of which they do not respond. I have lost a couple of hundred of pounds to this company. Someone needs to stop them advertising in the US and Europe, as a complete scam.

Sadly, I only hunted out reviews, once I realised I was having issues returns. Wish I had read them first.

I had a similar experience to a lot of people. Order something and the material was really poor quality and very different colour to the pictures. I've emailed them repeatedly and not had an answer back. It's so frustrating! Are there not any regulations in place to stop them scamming people?

Well for some crazy reason I trusted the ad on fb and ordered 2 items. The holiday I ordered them for has been and gone and still no delivery and no response to my emails. $79.90 gone, and I'm certainly not comfortable that Milk and Choco have my card details ... my advice, steer clear. Plenty of other great online shopping sites to use!

TERRIBLE, terrible, terrible. The worst quality. And impossible to ask for a refund because you cannot contact them. There is no reply to multiple emails (I've even used different email adresses!) Sizing is asian, so it does not fit - even if I had wanted to wear it. Bad exparience!

Milk and Chico is a fraud or scam! I ordered a jumpsuit July 8th and never received it. It was 39.00. I sent an email and never got any response! Do not order from this company!

Similar experience. Cheaply made clothes that do not even match the photos. They basically find photos of clothing sold by legit stores that they use on their website and when you order you get some cheap knock off from China that takes 6-8 weeks. I have requested a return and no communication. Total scam

Do not order from Milk and Choco. The dress I received was ridiculously small. A small child could not have fit into it. Then when I tried to get info on how to return the dress using their "Free Return Policy, " no one ever responded to the emails (and email is the only contact information on their web site). So now I am stuck with a dress that will fit no one. Live and learn. If a web site has only a contact email and says you must contact them before returning an item, I now know that the return policy is a scam.

I don't understand how they can get away with it. i cannot believe i was fooled to believe the stuff was good and customer service was decent. i got two replies of which they say they never received my previous emails and ask how they can help. i want my damn money back, and then silence. as if they are laughing behind the screens. how can we make it so that ppl don't buy from them again?
i've learned my lesson...never getting anything that Facebook advertises...complete scam!

I couldn't agree more-- I only wish I'd done a little research and seen these posts earlier. Luckily (I guess), I only purchased one item. I've emailed to find out how to return it so many times I've lost count. Milk and Choco is a scam and total [censored]. Shut Them Down.

100% agree with all the negative comments. I've emailed countless times within the allotted time to get a refund, per the website's request, NO RESPONSE.

The jumpsuit is absolutely unwearable. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I have had the same bad experience. My product took several weeks to deliver. I ordered up a size as the reviews I read said the item ran small. Even with that, it is too small but really make is unwearable is a big flaw in the fabric, right on the center front. I have made several attempts to get return information and there is no reply.

This company is a total rip off. I purchased 2 dresses which were so cheaply made and the sizing is all wrong. Clothes have no labels and there is no return address. It is posted marked from China. I tried numerous times to contact them without any response. Then I posted on Trust Pilot and they finally responded and offered me a full refund. I received an email stating that the refund will post to my account in 7-10 business day. Well it's been almost 2 months and still no refund and of course no response to any emails I send.

I received a poorly made dress, which was 10cms shorter than the advised size guide. The only reason I ordered it was because it would be long enough for me, as I am 5ft 10". There were pieces of thread hanging off the arms which were not finished properly and the material hadn't been finished for the tie belt. I e-mailed them with photographs and they never responded.

I have now raised a chargeback with my card issuer as the goods were not as described and no contact has been made by the company to rectify the issue. This company is fraudulently stealing designs from genuine retailers, copying the patterns in a shoddy and less than quality way and only supplying a fraction of the orders but at a much lower quality. They are in China but portray themselves as American and their card acquirer seems to be in Spain. Fraud, fraud, fraud.

I suggest you all raise a chargeback too, to get your money back.

I wish I could give them minus 1000 stars. I ordered a dress and received it a month later. Opened it and found a cheap rag inside. Maybe worth $5. It was also way too small. I tried to email them many times to request a return. NEVER responded. The webside paints a pretty picture but it is a total SCAM! Someone should shut this website down.

I sent like five mails but they never answered.

This is such a scam. I tried to cancel an order. They shipped the dress and charged me anyway. I returned the package unopened with tracking from the Post Office. They got the dress back but never refunded my money.
Theses are horrible, horrible people.
Don't let them scam you too!
