You will get billed first from "Beachbody Fitness" for their shape up program, and then they say in 30 days after you will get another bill. well, the DAY AFTER the initial bill, I got more charges! And they changed their name from Beachbody to Million Dollar Body.
First charge is $68.89, then day after is $29.90 then week and a half later another charge for $40.62 from Million Dollar Body! That wasn't 30 days later! So now i got stuck with these overdraft charges from my bank for this unplanned for expenses!
Has anyone had success working with pierre with regards to their beachbody extra charges?
So this is where everyone who couldn't hack it hangs out. If you couldn't afford to purchase the programs for their full amount you should not have ordered in the first place. Let me guess...all of you are still fat and unhappy. Get off the couch and do something about it!
I've just started P90X and the program makes sense... because it is extremely difficult. It will take be quite awhile before I can complete a program in the given time allotted, I am just too weak (at least with chest & back, and abs).
That being stated I will not subscribe to the MDB program. Partly this is because of this posting, but also because it is an pyramid scheme, and these things never work.
Worse, schemes lower moral and personal integrity of both client and seller. The client doesn't feel their getting enough, the seller coaxes them along... you get the picture. In life, success is obtained by finding the angles others do not see, or are unwilling to undertake. Unfortunately, with a million sales agents on the same task, it is a fair bet that you're going to have stiff competition.
I participated in two pyramid schemes in the 1990s: Excel (an alternate long-distance service) and Cutco Knives. Now the knives, at least, can be used - that is their selling point. Thus, if you demonstrate the efficacy of the knife, people want in... that's the hook. The hook with MDB is that fit individuals have something others want... but others don't necessary want to do the work, at least not consistently.
I'm an avid outdoorman and can do a lot of things that would frighten/daunt others. I've decided I want the body and full strength to go with it. I wouldn't bother too much with MDB though (some supplements are fine) as it will sap your mental energy, and be deleterious to your program temerity.

I caught them trying to overbill me twice while trying to order P90X. They reversed the charges and gave me confirmation numbers for both canceled transactions. As I read the above posted complaints most problems began one month after purchase. My one month "anniversary" will be March 2010. I will report any oddities in my checking account if they occur. Oddly Beachbodies inability to charge as advertised lead me to search the web extensively and I found P90X for a one time charge of $64.95. It arrived from China in less than two weeks. It is new, unopened, complete and seemingly paid for with no problems. The product is apparently not bootlegged as it asserts the need for ordering acrudiments and accessories. If anyone reading this has not yet purchased thier P90X search carefully I found them as cheap as $29.95; and after closer inspection some were used, some were incomplete, some seemed potentially legitimate. I found them as expensive as $139.95; these all seemed complete, legitimate kits, some links (not all) lead back to beachbody. I chose (after hours of scrutinizing) by process of elimination of probably 50 purchase options 3 sites to order from with prices from $49.00 to $65.00, two sites with different prices lead to the same billing site, so I threw them out and the last one standing would not let me purchase any other way than paypal. Alas I was about to give up having never used paypal and was not up for another extensive session of signing up for something (especially with dial-up speed) when the simplist of pages opened before my eyes. Transfer from debit acct to paypal, recieve verification of new paypal acct, approve payment to vendor, recieve conformation and instructions for remedies if transaction fails. This being my first online purchase I have learned this: if you don't pay with paypal, you will be remorseful. I'll let you know how remorseful I will be for the two "canceled" transactions with Beachbody before my journey lead to the God send that is paypal.

I ordered their products through ebay and amazon, therefore I completely avoided their scam.
Lesson number one: always research before you buy from any company, especially one you saw in an infomercial!
I have been a customer of this company for couple years never had a problem.
