Had a half of dozen charges to my credit card that were not authorized. It doesn't appear they much in the way of safeguards for such fraud, doesn't appear expiration date or cvc were necessary for them to accept an order. Each time I called they processed a refund and indicated they would close the account. A few days go by and here come some more charges. Had to cancel my credit card even though this company was the only one in which fraudulent charges occurred. Was promised a call from their "compliance unit," never happened.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I ordered product in June and still have not received due to it being back ordered...then why did I pay for it? Typical, legitimate companies don't charge you until it ships. Waited on Live Chat for over an hour as I was number 54 in line. When I got the "how can I help you" from someone...i was disconnected from their site, had to log back on and start the process all over again at number 63 in line. Must be that many people complaining and no one to answer the questions. Asked for a refund two months ago and they basically said no. Awful customer service!
I am still in the process of trying to get my money refunded back from my credit card company because of charges fraudulently put on my card by Modere. I have never done business with them and had never heard of them. According to their records [ which they sent to my credit card company when I first disputed the charges ] they sent some product to someone I do not know in another state. It is unbelievable that this same thing keeps happening to so many people.
I received a mystery charge of $147 on my credit card from Modere. I looked up the website and didn't recognize ANYTHING on there. I have never heard of the company, let alone buy anything. I reached out via chat to let the company know that there was a fraudulent charge and that I've reported it to my bank for a claim. They told me that they needed by full 16 digit card number in order to look up the purchase. That is so shady to me, and I let the rep know that. I said they could have my name and my last 4 but I was in no way shape or form going to call and give them my full 16 digit number. They said their were hundreds and thousands of cards with the same last four digits and i let them know that not all those cards were associated with my name. I told them no other company has ever asked me for my card number to look up a transaction. They insisted that it was THE ONLY way to look up a purchase. This is shady and suspicious and i think it should be looked into
I have never heard of this company and a charge showed up on my fraud alert from my credit card. I have disputed it - but would like to know how they got my credit card information. If I could give it 0 stars I would. This place steals money, sets you up for "smart ship" when you didnt ask for it and continues to act stupid when you question them. I had to pay money to send an entire order BACK after receiving items that i didnt even want. I then took all of my information out of the account and I was still shipped something. I will be contacting my bank to halt all charges from this company since they won't stop. They train their "empolyees" to use voice messages instead of word typing so there is no trace "in writing" which makes it harder to know/remember what is said. It also makes it easier to scam people into continuing the product. Do not recommend.

Worst customer service ever! I called to report fraud, waited 3 hours, i was transferred to a supervisor and he said he would fix it. The next day the large charge appeared on my account so i called and waited online for over 2 hours and after a long online chat i was told the supervisor would contact me in an hour. here i am 3 hours later still waiting. i made it clear i have never heard of the company and didn't have an account and that my banking institution said someone used it from somewhere else. this company does not take fraud serious! the card has been shut down but the company refuses to take care of this and refund what was reported as fraud immediately after the card number was ran.

Now that I am reading ComplaintsBoard.com reports on this company I see that I am not alone - there are multiple reports for the same issues. This company and its employees needs to be investigated and business needs to be shut down until investigation is completed!

I ended my membership with Modere in 2020. Removed all my payment information etc. Recently I have been getting emails from Modere saying they can't process my order on my credit card. I called customer service, heard roosters in the background, the young man said he would look into the order /issue , was on hold for 10 minutes then he disconnected the call. If I get one charge on ANY of my cards, I will sue. This company is terrible.

I ordered a product in stock. The website says 2-4 days to process. When I logged in to check the status it said 8-10 days to process. In trying to call to see if there were any other options, the phone message said to add 5-7 days on for processing. I asked for a refund of 179.31 and the customer service agent (3 of them 2 in the chat room, 1 from a call back) said that unfortunately, I would have to wait to receive the product in several weeks, then process a return, and wait for who knows how long. This business is not giving reasonable or factual information on their website. I would have never ordered if it was going to be several weeks until it was processed and months before it was received or chance of a refund. I want something done.

I ordered two months in a row. Then on the third month, I received notice that my card on file was declined and asked for a new card. I did that and had order resent. Then checked the declined card to see what was going on. To my amazement, it was never declined, they had in fact processed a successful payment of $101.98. This was on Saturday and when I called, the message said office was closed til Monday. When I called Monday morning, they agreed it had gone through and then they processed 2 more bottles for almost $200 on the new card. I told them I didn't want 2 more bottles. One a month was good. She put me on hold to talk to her supervisor and when she came back she said, sorry, nothing we can do because the payment processed. Here's the thing, none if this would have happened if Modere wouldn't have sent me a false email stating my card had been declined.

I love to shop and I love to try new products and support friends who sell those products. This company is HORRIBLE for so many reasons. I had looked at their FRAUDULENT PAST prior to changing their name but decided maybe they improved...but no. Here are the reasons behind my low opinion of this company. 1.This is a company that charges your card without shipping products. Like I said, I shop a lot...other companies do NOT charge you until your order ships. The bigger problem with this is that you can be charged significant amounts of money (because the products are not cheap), and then you don't get your order for weeks or even months. I can understand Covid delays but this is different. 2. They also have you use a Smartship option to save money which means it ships out automatically every month. Again, when shipments don't go out right away, you end up several orders behind...continuing to pay for new products that you don't get in a timely manner. I ended up getting multiple orders all at once 1+ month later which isn't ideal either. 3. When you need Customer Service...There is a chat option but it seems to disconnect you even after waiting forever for your turn. Or if you call in, sometimes you get the option to get a callback but sometimes you don't. Nothing is consistent. When you do talk to someone, there is rarely anything they do that actually helps the situation. You are told products may or may not be in when they expect them. And then who knows what order they go in to determine who gets products first bc its very sporatic and there's no rhyme or reason when I talk to others who ordered. 4. Products are often damaged upon receiving. This could be a shipping company complaint but it would also be a problem with how the products are packaged. They shouldn't be so easy to damage.

Ordered on March 24 ($70.46). This is a nutritional supplement. Before ordering, I specifically told them I was a nursing mom, and asked if it was safe to use while nursing my baby. I was told it was okay, so I ordered. Upon receiving, the product says right on the label to not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Due to the false advertising from the customer support, I tried to seek return/refund. After not receiving any responses, I filed a dispute with my credit card company. They finally responded and said they will issue a refund if we send the product back and remove the credit card dispute. We did as guided, and over two weeks later, still no refund. Haven't heard anything from anyone, but we are still out the $70.46, and the credit card company said they can't re-open the dispute once we removed it. Hoping this notice prompts Modere to send the refund. If they sent a refund of that amount, they must have sent to the wrong person, because we haven't' received it.
This company Modere I'd never even heard of before. Someone charged *** to my card which I stopped the very next day. I also had to stop my card. Modere said they were going to *** the money. I never got it. Their reference number is [protected]-[protected].
In August, I discovered twenty charges to my *** card totaling $1,386.14, made between March and August for Modere products that I didnt purchase. I destroyed the card, and I reported the incident to MyIDCare. There were also five credits issued for a total of $431.53. I disputed a total of $954.61 with ***. I also contacted a Modere representative at discovery. I provided my credit card number, and the representative verified the total credits and charges on the account. She apologized and said Modere would work to resolve this matter with ***. She would not however provide customer contact or ship to information. Today, I called *** for an update on my disputed charge of $954.61. Nothing changed so tomorrow I will contact *** Security Operations. It looks like Modere has a lot of experience handling fraudulent charge complaints from customers who've never heard of them before, enough that a trend has formed on ComplaintsBoard.com. I believe this deserves more than the attention of the ComplaintsBoard.com. It deserves the attention of the Utah attorney general's office. I purchased the Lean Body System on 4/12 and received it the evening of 4/16. I started the system on 4/17 and followed the directions for the products for the full 30 days. I contacted Modere customer service text and requested the 30 day money back guarantee. They told me I had to send back the product and then contact them for a refund. I questioned having to send back empty bottles and also stated that I don't know that I still had them because our trash pickup was today. When they replied they then stated that because it was more than 30 days they weren't able to refund me. So, they don't even let you finish the entire system that you but before you have to decide if it's something that works for you. I can understand them not refunding it weeks after the 30 days, but literally 1 day past, because I wanted to complete the 30 day system, seems absolutely ridiculous and makes feel this company is just about taking your money and not seeing you succeed on their products.
In April i ordered products from this company . Once shipped tracked the package. Package stated delivered but was not received gave it a few days just in case . Still never received reached out to them via email as instructed and after about 10 days still no response. I contacted my bank to dispute the charge . Prior to this situation I had no idea what or who this company was. They took out over 300 in 2 transactions. They immediately refunded my card but explained when I asked 2 orders were placed one sent to *** and 1 sent to Wyoming different names . Was told it seems fictional. So many issues with their website, business platform it was insane. I was getting a full team prepared for the new opening in India when, they decided to change their rules where, I would not get any benefits unless I doubled my team of 8 to 16 people...all this at the last minute. Their business etiquette and ethics are highly questionable and insulting to say the least. Nothing is written down or clear with this business. Any how, after all this waste of time and rubbish I had to say to sell these products that really aren't that great or effective, I wanted to shut my accounts and not be charged for any further purchases. I have had several random charges on my credit card with Modere in less than a month. I have never done any business with them. These are fraudulent charges. I also noticed many other complaints with this same issue. When I first noticed a charge I called my credit card company to dispute the charge. They closed the account. I also reached out to Modere and got the same response everyone else gets about how sorry they are and to contact them with my credit card info. Its all a scam. I will not give them any of my personal info. They need to be investigated immediately.

Received shipping information from Modere that an order would arrive on Thursday June 4th. It has now been delayed each and every day since and is still not delivered and today is June 10th. Almost a week that a liquid supplement has been sitting on roasting hot trucks. Cannot contact the shipper as they are unavailable for phone calls. Modere has a 90 minute wait time so I request a call back. 4 hours later I receive a voicemail. Repeat this twice. Called back and decide to wait on hold instead. 4 hours of hold music later a representative answers and I explain the situation and click, they hang up. Call back and they are closed for customer service. I have already been charged for my entire order when more than half is on backorder and hadn't even shipped yet. Now I get notice the package should be arriving yet it never does. Modere needs to contact the shipper and resolve the issue and I deserve to be compensated for my time and efforts spending 2 whole days trying to resolve an issue that should never be happening in the first place.

I never received a shipment of Human Collagen, but only received the Pet item. Both first AND Last names were misspelled on the label and online account. In about 3 weeks, I received another delivery of the same Pet Biocel product, which I had *NOTauthorized at my initial transaction. I emailed MODERE, and have not rec'd a response after 1 week. I since have tried multiple times to reach Modere customer service via phone. I spent 30 minutes on hold, then was informed of an 82 minute wait time, which is unacceptable. I tried to contact Modere via their website, and found there was no way to do so. I then attempted to do a charge-back with my credit card, but that would have required closing my account. 1) I believe this company is unethical and dishonest by entering my account into auto-ship without my knowledge or authorization. I've since learned my Facebook was linked to MODERE's website without my knowledge or agreement. 2) SO FAR, I have spent over 4 hours of my valuable time dealing with the issue, due to MODERE's lack of customer service and being unreachable.

After 15 days, I had reached out to Modere customer service for returning these products and I was informed that someone will call me back to start the return process and I will be refunded in 1 week. Post that, we moved out of the country for 3 months and I kept on trying to reach Modere customer service. In February, I again spoke with the customer service and told them that I have been waiting to return these products but nobody has responded back. They apologized and said that it was holiday season so they were getting a high volume of calls. They said they will share a return label soon and I again continued wait but no email response. After waiting for 2 months more, I reached out to my bank to let them know about this. They advised to reach out to the merchant about the refund and so I called Modere again. Until today it has been 10 months, I have made atleast 20 calls, waiting for long wait times and being advised to call back. My $218 is stuck with them. No one has cared to call me back or even email to share return labels. I have recommended Modere to so many people but now I am regretting. For a reputed company like Modere, I was not expecting them to cheat like this. They clearly say they refund 100% within 30 days of order but it has taken 10 months for me and still no response. In covid times like this, I should not have to worry about an order I had placed in 2019 and trace people and companies to fulfill the promise they had made.

There was no note inside the order or any email sent to me about those two items being on backorder, I had to login to my account to get that information. I chose autoship and 3 days before July 24th, i was notified my auto ship was about to happen. I used Live Chat to contact Modere. I was told one item was still not there and second item would ship with my upcoming order. I changed my autoship from 8 products to a bundle of 5. The order was processed and my credit card charged on July 24th. It's now August 10th - and nothing has been sent - not the 2 items from order #1 and nothing from order #2. I tried to contact Modere via live chat. Please note there is about an hour wait before you get to have a chat, First guy ended the chat without even checking my order. Second person looked and 20 minutes later.finally tells me that the items from #1 were still on backorder - how then did the guy in July tell me i was about to get one of those? and then she told me that 2nd order "was being processed" and it would be a WEEK OR TWO before i would get these. When i asked if my order can be cancelled and i get a refund - the chat was conveniently ENDED again. this is worst customer service experience ever. not only are they not helpful they wasted 2.5 hours of my time and nothing resolved. I had emailed their customer service also and so far no response at all. I have waited more than the time listed on their site to get my order and yet no one seems to be helping and a refund wasnt even entertained.

Modere is responsible for $389 coming out of my account. Three orders and three over draft fees. I spoke with a representative named Jennifer at 12:39pm on September 5 and she put in a request to have the second charge canceled and advised that she would email me on Monday/Labor day. I did not receive an email or call from her and yesterday I received another charge. My smartship order is $103 and I was charged two orders extra orders. One for another $103 and another $113. I also got two over draft fees from my bank for $35 each and $10 for a total of $70. Had it not been for the additional charges, my account would have not accrued these charges. I received a new card due to fraud so, when Modere went to charge my account, the card declined. I received a text from Modere. So, I put my new bank card in and approved the Smartship order. Then I received two additional charges. I spoke with a representative by the name of Cat/Kat today September 7 @ 12:12pm and she put in a credit for $103.27- reference # *** and another for $113.97- reference #*** but advised that she was emailing her Supervisors for a belief that I didnt place the orders. I advised her that I did not place the orders because they were from Smartship. Why would I need three identical orders? If Modere doesn't fix this, I'll need all three orders canceled. I'm looking to be refunded $286.00 and as fast as my money dissapeared. If not, just cancel all the orders and I won't continue to be a customer. Im not sure why I have to go through this but its time consuming and Modere is supposed to be a reputable site. Modere's customer service is horrible and I think if they had better customer service, the wait time wouldn't be so long. The automated system states 1 or 2 minutes but thats a half hour and when you finally reach someone they're not that helpful.

Modere's customer service is almost impossible to get ahold of. I am in the process of my second order with them and am again having communication and shipping issues similar to that which I experienced during my first order. I was understanding of shipping delays related to my first order on 05/01, given the pandemic. I made several attempts to reach out via email, which were unreturned and I waited for hours (on several different occasions) in their chat, only to be kicked out before speaking to someone. After issues with not originally receiving the products that I ordered, changing products at the company's request and still not receiving them, and waiting as my items were sent in a staggered manner, I was able to get ahold of customer service via that chat. Essentially, I was just told that there was a delay any my items would eventually ship. No apologies or explanations were provided. I gave them a chance and placed a second order, as again, I was trying to give some grace due to pandemic complications and also figured, that due to the influx of customer service inquiries, they'd make some improvements. I was wrong. I set up an autoship order that was set to ship (as per their website) on 06/01. I was charged $150 on 06/01 however, my order did not and still has not shipped. I am unsure of why I would charged if my products did not ship. In addition, I have received no communication that indicates a delay in shipping so I am unsure why they have not shipped. A simple email indicating a shipping delay would at minimum, reduce frustration slightly. I was advised that the products work best with consistent use and now have had a lapse in use due to the delay of my products (which are listed as "in stock" and were supposed to ship on 06/01 as per the information listed on their site). I have reached out to customer service via email and instagram message, with no response. I have sat in their chat for hours over the course of multiple days during the last 6 days, only to be kicked out once I dwindle down to number 3 or 4 in the queue and then have to reopen the chat and get at the end of the line again. I attempted to utilize the chat on Saturday and it was not available, though a message stating that the chat was open during that time continually popped up. I would just like some communication as to when my order will ship or even to just cancel the order and get a refund at this point. This does not seem possible though, as I cannot get in contact with anyone at this company.

I ordered the Modere influencer kit (under their "empty bottle guarantee" ) as well as a "smart ship" skin care order. I was never given the bonus nor the product ""point" credits from my registration and order. I decided to cancel / not move forward with representing a company that didn't follow through on promises and had terrible customer service when reaching out to solve the problem. I was issued a return label and did send the products back - most unused! I was promised a refund several times over the phone and through messenger. Modere assured me the refund would go through my credit card company back to the Wells Fargo card used. This never happened so I filed a dispute. Modere then responded to the dispute stating they'd refund me directly which closed the dispute, Again, they did not refund my card - and stated it was due to the outstanding dispute. The credit card company advised the dispute was indeed closed and the merchant would have to refund me directly. When contacting Modere with this information, they insisted they had processed the refund and the bank wasn't issuing it - which neither I nor the bank have record of any refunds coming from them. They bounced me from customer service agent to agent then to a supervisor then to another supervisor and an "internal contact" that has something to do with their payments / credit cards. Finally, I got tired of spending countless HOURS with no resolution that I asked for options. They then added "point" credits (as they had "exhausted all internal options") to my prior account they had "locked" and demanded I had less than 48 hours to choose products or forfeit for the value of the original charges which was not totally honored ( $113.54+433.42) and they didn't honor their "empty bottle guarantee" nor any of the customer service calls, emails or chats promising a refund. I was even told they "exhausted all options" to take care of the matter! What options? It's a simple refund to a card I've confirmed several times. I accepted the products when I was forced into the corner to either lose the money or take products in a very short window of time - which I sill maintained I wanted a refund not products (which they then had to place the order for me because the account was locked, unlocked, then I couldn't process it in their system). Long story short this has been a time and money drain not to mention complete and total lies and unaccountability despite written proof and documentation of their actions and broken promises. I want a refund. The products should have been offered as a courtesy for the terrible experience and time wasted.
I have been losing so much hair postpartum and they were not growing back I tried everything pills, oil also shampoo but then finally I started with collagen I studied a lot about it's benefits but not sure but after about 6 months I saw baby hair 🤩 and I never stopped talking it. I take 2 times 15ml.

This company fraudulently charged my credit card 3 times in one month for almost $500 without my knowledge. When I contact them, they wanted my entire credit card number which tipped me off. I never did business with this company. No way! They would not let me speak to a supervisor. Horrible company! I have done chargebacks thru my bank.
Unauthorized charges to my credit card - never heard of Modere, let alone ordered products $65 on 11/6 I have read other people's complains about the company. Seem they are trying to increase their sales buy hijacking checking accounts and credit cards.Can not give a review on their product because I have not received or ordered any of there product.
I have never heard of this company. My debit card has had 7 separate transactions completed by said company that I did not authorize. It has been reported to my bank and in process of resolution at this time. If this is an actual business they need to do an internal investigation ASAP.
