Morrisons transport vehicle registration MX70 LMM
We were travelling up to the north east of England on the A1M between junctions 61 and 62 at 5pm on 28th May 2022. The above Morrisons lorry nearly killed my family and I by swerving out into the second lane as we were by the side of it into the lane we were travelling in. As the lorry moved back into lane one and we moved past the vehicle cab, the driver was on his mobile phone. He appeared to have no concept he had nearly wiped out our family with his dangerous driving and illegal mobile phone use.
Desired outcome: Drivers to be educated on the rules of the road and not using their mobile phones at the wheel.
Rude staff member
I have today (27th may) gone to your petrol station in anlaby to be rather annoyed At a rather loud conversation one of your staff members was having with a customer about how it’s rude and inconsiderate to fill up a car at a pay at the pump and then come into store to pay for it. It was busy and the only pump available for me to fill up at and when I get to it the pump was telling me to go in and pay anyway. This has really annoyed me but what was worse was when I mentioned it to the staff member saying it might be something to keep an eye on I got shrugged at and scoffed at this is highly unprofessional and rude! I do not want to enter a shop to pay for my fuel and a drink I picked up and to be loudly talked about to a customer that was actually waiting for her partner to fill the car when there was a cue out the door. Your staff member should have been serving other people.
Desired outcome: Please reply to me and I would like your staff to be told to have some more manners and not talk about other customer in front of them My email: [protected]@hotmail.co.uk
Service amount of check out staff
Kirkstall Morrisons had one till open and one advisor servicing 13 self checkouts - twenty minutes to get served
Desired outcome: Someone to show some interest
Price display
I bought a lot of alcohol at Morrisons UpHatherley on the 25-5-22 as you have good offers on yellow labels the kopparberg was on an end for £8.50 but I got charged £14.50 also I bought larger thinking it was 2 for £20 as labels said and I was charged full price £14.00 for coors and £11.99 for Budweiser
I know I should have check the receipt before leaving the shop
I’m almost certain this breaks trading standards rules
Desired outcome: To be reimbursed
Hot food deli
The young lady behind the counter clearly didn’t want to serve me as was waiting there for 4-5 mins then 2 people got served before me and took the food I wanted, she didn’t really seem that fussed, spoke down to me was only trying to get my lunch the lady is called Lauren and I asked where’s your name badge and she replied left it at home what’s your problem I really don’t think this behaviour is acceptable but the lovely Sadie at customer service took my issue very professionally
Would like to be contacted about this situation [protected]

Lack of Customer Service
22.08 on Friday 20th May 2022 (tonight)
I went into your Stranraer branch at approximately 21.45, to do a quick shop which took slightly longer than I anticipated, due to shelf stackers trolleys that needed to be navigated. However I managed to get everything i needed and got to the checkouts at approximately 22.05. I went all the way down the line to find them all closed. Undeterred and prepared to self check out, I went into that area to find them all switched off as well. I asked a gentleman in a Morrisons jacket where exactly was I supposed to check out. He informed me that they were closed, however he would find a supervisor. A rather portly lady with glasses came back with him a couple of minutes later, who started shouting at me from about 10 yards away that the shop was closed. I said sorry, not because I didn’t hear her, just that I was stunned that I had been allowed to waste my time shopping to be told that I couldn’t check out! She repeated the statement, so I left my basket of goods, valued I would say at approximately £50 or so and walked out. I did not want to engage in an argument with this person, so headed for the exit, only to find that the automatic doors were switched off as well. Fortunately another member of staff had followed me and was able to let me out. There were no tannoy announcements that the store was about to close its checkouts, otherwise I would have cut my losses and gone straight for the tills. I do a weekly shop of approximately £40-60 every week, driving up from Port William, 23 miles away. I’m no longer sure that it’s worth the effort.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response.
No filling at all
I'm disgusted with the level of bacon in this sandwich
Disabled access
I have recently visited one of your larger stores - Coventry Road, Yardley Birmingham - an feel the need to wrote a complaint about the lack of trollies for wheelchair users.
My elderly relative has recently been confined to a wheelchair which obviously proves difficult when going around the aisles. Last week, after going upstairs in the lift, I was then told that there were trollies for wheelchairs downstairs - there were none there as I had already looked so my mum had to have a basket on her lap whilst I wheeled her around to do her shopping. Today (13/5/22) I looked for one again and I found 3 by the lift which were broken and then another one upstairs which was also broken. When I asked for help I was told that they were on order but haven't arrived. Apparently they had 6 in the store before x-mas which have all now been stolen or are broken. To sum it all up, again, my mother had to have a basket on her lap which was extremely uncomfortable for her. I find this to be unacceptable for such a huge concern as Morrisons, to actually have a store without access to the fundamental equipment needed for a person with a disability to do there weekly shopping. May I add that the staff were very polite and apologetic but their hands were tied and, of course, they were unable to give any practical help. I sincerely hope that this matter can be resolved as soon as possible as this store is the most convenient one for our weekly shop.
Desired outcome: Disabled trollies for wheelchairs to be purchased and delivered to the store or repaired.
Petrol station - Incorrect reporting to police
My wife and i drove to Morrisons Gravesend on the evening of 13th April 2022. My car registration is KR65OLW
I could not drive due to a serious leg injury so my wife parked the car at pump 2 so i was close to the kiosk to be able to pay. I was on crutches so i went to the kiosk whilst she put diesel into the car.
I waited while she put the diesel in and told the girl serving me it was pump 2. She didn't hear me as she was talking to her colleague. When my wife finished, i repeated PUMP 2 and the girl told me the amount and i paid by debit card. We drove off and that was the end of the transatction...so i thought.
MY WIFE (not me) was contacted weeks later by the police , saying i'd underpaid as the girl had put through the cost of the diesel from pump 6. The police stated i had told the girl the wrong pump which was completely wrong, and if i didn't pay immediately the balance they would arrest ME for fraud. I was ill with covid/flu symptoms at the time, and was shocked and horrified with what was happening
1. At no point did i tell the cashier pump 6. She was too busy talking to her colleague and clearly wasn't concentrating
2. I had no idea how much diesel my wife was putting in the car as i was in the shop at the time.
3. My wife drove to the closest pump to ease my journey to the kiosk so how could i say the wrong pump?
4. Why were the police involved and threatening me when i did nothing wrong, and paid what i was asked to pay IN GOOD FAITH?
I have since visited Morrisons Gravesend and paid the balance as i am an honest person and if a mistake was made I'm happy to settle it. I wonder if it was the other way round, would Morrisons inform the police and pay any credit owed to me ...i think not.
This has left me extremely angry and upset with Morrisons., I have always used your petrol station above others, as well as your stores. I was treated like a criminal when i acted in good faith and the error was clearly with your cashier. At no point did anyone you or the police, stop to consider this
My wife is also making a complaint to the police over their handling of the events
Desired outcome: I require and apology, and compensation for stress and upset caused. I paid £30.30 balance for your error, so this can be added also

Read full review of MorrisonsSmoked Salmon
I purchased a pack of Morrisons Fishmongers Ready to Eat Smoked Salmon Slices on 27/04/2022 at Morrisons in Hatch End.
I wasn't happy with the product and have only now decided, with the encouragement of my sonata make a complaint.
The slices were impossible to separate hard as I might try and as a result I had to use far more than I wanted on crackers, toast etc as it was so thick.
Also there was a rather large bone on still present and quite a bit of connective tissue which made it even harder to get a decent slice.
This is a luxury, considered purchase at £4.99 and I wasn't pleased at all.
The only positive was that the salmon itself tasted fine.
I am now reluctant to purchase any similar products from Morrisons
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund of £4.99 and also ask your suppliers to make improvements , such as interleaves and better examination of the salmon.
Restaurant
Having been in Malton hospital for a check up since the morning I went to your Malton branch to have a much needed meal. This was at 14.15 on 10th May. I got my drink and waited at the counter to order a meal. There was no staff anywhere to be seen. Finally a bearded male who came out to serve up a plate for a seated customer. While clearly seeing me (and those queueing behind me) he didn’t once attempt to call someone to serve us, nor did apologise for the wait. He merely scowled at me. After five minutes I gave up and took my custom elsewhere
Florist
My daughter went to the Morrisons store in Halfway,Sheffield to pick some flowers that she knows I like for my Birthday and asked if they could be made into a bouquet.
The assistant declined her request. She was really upset by this response knowing her choice of flowers were my favourites.
The time would have been around 3-45pm on Monday 9/5/22. The bouquet she purchased that was already made up was full of what I call filler flowers chrysanthemums, greenery and one bird of paradise stem and one delphinium stem which was wilting at the top even though it was hand tied in a bag of water. The colour scheme of the flowers where also a mismatch peach, purple, blue & white.
I am so disappointed for her as she wasn’t completely happy with her choice, but she didn’t feel like she could choose what she really wanted to buy for me.
Desired outcome: I would like to request that my daughter be reimbursed for the flowers she purchased as they were not the ones she wanted to purchase.RegardsClaire M WorthMob: [protected]
Ready to eat baby spinach
Hi, not really a complaint, just thought you should be aware what has just been microwaved in with the “vegan“ baby spinach this evening.
Pretty unpleasant especially as my wife is vegetarian😟🪲. Was some sort of beetle. Tried loading pictures of the poor thing as well as the product details but they don’t seem to want to upload. I can forward later if you require, but will need a link to tie it to this message.
Desired outcome: Just to make you aware. Obviously these things can be difficult to control completely. Maybe a replacement bag of spinach would be nice.
I have tried for three days to buy a leg of lamb at your Hadleigh (suffolk) store.
You have no legs of lamb at all, too late now for Easter Sunday lunch. You have Nationally advertised this lamb at a special price yet you have none for sale. This is misleading and some might say illegal. Is this a come-on to get us in your stores with no actual lamb available?. I am Morrisons shareholder and I take this very seriously, your shelves have been consistently empty lately and if this continues I will go to my local Co-op in Hadleigh which I visited the other day, very impressed, full shelves and competitive prices.
Come on Morrisons, get your act together or have you given up completely?
Desired outcome: I need to understand your motivation, it surely isn't to keep happy customers.
Mr brains [censored]gets (packet of 6. £1.80p
The complete l wish to make is regarding one of your product your advertisement is for packet of 6 Mr Brains [censored]gets cost £1.80p saying you have them in store, but when my husband look for them there wasn't any in your freezer. No stock of jack daniels 1 litre on offer
Went into the store at chippenham. No stock of jack daniels on shelf. Asked the lady at checkout who directs (non existent) customers to tills! Is anyone who can get us a £2o bottle which you have on offer.
The answer — laughable. The shelves dont get filled to tonight. End of.
I worked at aldi, if a customer asked me for something I would go and look or get someone who could.
Where is customer service. Not going back.
Desired outcome: a/ an apologyb/ the bottle sent to my address c/ to know that staff are told the customer is important
Cafe staff
We visited the cafe at the hoddeson branch were we come every Thursday for breakfast. When ordering our food at the counter with the staff member we asked for brown toast instead of white so he called over to the cook to let him know and the cook was very rude in his response b rolling his eyes and moaning to himself. This made us feel awkward and under valued as a customer. This was quite me for the other member of staff as he was doing his job properly to let him know what we ordered. Also I would like to know how the chef if permitted to cook in a kitchen whilst wearing no PPE as he had long hair and a large beard in which I feel need to be covered for hygiene regulations.
