I was totally shocked and upset by two of the check out staff based in Totton Southampton today 25/2/2021 at 11:14. I stood in a queue waiting for a check out person to come to the till as the check out lady on the till next to the one I was standing at, said there will be someone coming, only for the check out lady to arrive and call someone from the queue to come forward. She clearly saw me standing with others waiting but it appeared it was a friend of the lady who was on the check out as they were talking like they were best friends. I was upset but didn't make a fuss and let it go.
While I was waiting I noticed there was no one at the next till (I think it was till number 9 so moved forward to be told I couldn't go there as there was a queue for that till but there wasn't any the lady in front of the queue was queuing for the till further up and it wasn't until the last at the till shouted at her she decided to move into that space. By now I was annoyed as it seemed they didn't know what they were doing and I felt I was being treated very poorly. I eventually got served by the lady at the till in the original queue only to be told to stand right behind the shopping being given to us but we only had a small amount and I was getting ready to pay. So I stood behind the shopping paid and said to the lady at the till about the whole situation only to see someone from my original queue go to the checkout I was told I couldn't go in and get served. I felt that the check out staff just didn't know what they were doing and I was made to feel like a second class citizen. I have never had an experience like it and felt this would be my last trip to Morrison's if that is the way they treat their customers. Lots of dictators and disorganisation. Very poor
