Purchased a moveras transmission from autozone with misleading warranty.
Purchased a reman transmission from Autozone after seeing on Autozone's website that Moveras will warranty the transmission for 4 years and unlimited miles. The warranty on Autozone website also claims that Moveras will reimburse for labor, trans fluid, and auto rental. The newly installed transmission was installed by a certified GMC dealer and with a new...

On 12-27-22 we ordered a rebuilt transmission for a 2004 ford f150 we installed this transmission worked well for 4 months then suddenly the transmission lost reverse then we sent a warranty request another transmission the company said no problem we got the warranty transmission and installed it this transmission on 5-17-23 and was no good and company is claiming that it is a rebuilt transmission the truck is using way to much power to go and the shifts are rough we contacted the company saying this is a used transmission why are you sending us crap so they sent us a third transmission 6-5-23 before we installed this one we decided to open it up from the pan and guess what you wouldn't believe another used transmission again not rebuilt there should be no metal in the pan of a rebuilt transmission this is the third time doing this transmission my pictures will show you this is not a rebuilt transmission. When a company says rebuilt transmissions and i am expecting a rebuilt transmission and not a used one, I would think the company would not cheap out and screw their customers. This company won't pay my full labor cost and transmission fluid cost.
Desired outcome: This company pays me for my full labor time my cost of fluids and to not send me a junk transmission

On March 25th, I purchased a transmission from Advance Auto Parts in Ladson South Carolina
On March 25th, I purchased a transmission from Advance Auto Parts in Ladson South Carolina. It was scheduled to be delivered Apr 8th. The transmission did not get delivered until the end of Apr beginning of May. Then the transmission that was shipped was defective. Your company sent a transmission that was faulty. That is unacceptable. Then your company is advising that it would take 2 weeks for another transmission to be sent out. That is again unacceptable to have the customer waiting almost 60 days for a transmission that should have already been sent and installed. This company has shown ZERO accountability and hasn't even offered to to do anything for the inconvenience.

Moveras, a very low quality company and lack of business acumen. Had a Moveras trans installed at a local place. They acquired the trans from Advance Auto. After approx one year the trans failed. The reason it failed was because during the rebuild process, they didn't replace a defective electrical connector that was molded into the top of the transmission. Trans fluid seeped into the connector shorting out the EMC. Moveras sent a new transmission but would not pay the labor to put it in because the shop did document on the receipt that the cooler was changed. The cooler had nothing to do with the electrical connector being defective. I had to pay the $1000 to install the transmission. Three months later this transmission is shifting erratically. Terrible customer service. they use the cooler replacement clause as a way to get out of paying for replacement labor cost. The company has poor quality, poor workmanship and terrible management. The internet is polluted with complaints about Moveras. I even stopped shopping at Advanced Auto because even though Moveras has a terrible reputation for quality, Advanced keeps doing business with them. I'm NOT buying another trans from Moveras, I'm going to install a Jasper trans.
On August 7th, I purchased a transmission for $2141.17 through autozone from this Moveras company. Once the transmission was installed it broke down on the side of the road leaving me stranded while pregnant with more problems than just claiming the warranty. Including the time and money of re dropping the transmission and borrowing other peoples vehicles to get by. I had to pay $1195 to a transmission shop to get back on the road before my due date. This company should at the least refund me the costs I had to spend repairing the junk transmission they sold to me.
This company sells junk transmissions and then won't honor their warranty
This company sells junk transmissions and then won't honor their warranty. I purchased a transmission on 8/11/202 for my 1993 dodge w250. It worked for less than 12 miles. Everytime I call for warranty I get the run around. They tried blaming my truck saying there must be a problem with the truck. The chunks of metal in the transmission pan say otherwise. I don't have the time or money to fool around with them so I am dropping the transmission and sending it to a reputable transmission shop that will build it the right way. In the mean time I have a truck that is useless. After reading all the reviews on this company I wouldn't except a replacement transmission because it will just fail again.

Bought a transmission on 03/16 paid $2119.99 for the transmission It broke about two weeks after it was installed lost most of the gears while on the highway with cruise control on. Have been waiting for a replacement but due to an issue with my local napa and my local shop this issue is going on 6 months I need the warranty transmission to fix my truck before winter. It was my only mode of transportation
On 731/21 my replacement transmission, under warranty, was received (after 1 1/2 months of no vehicle)
On 731/21 my replacement transmission, under warranty, was received (after 1 1/2 months of no vehicle). It was installed on 8/14 by my nephew (who is a certified mechanic). On approximately 11/8 my 2nd transmission went out. Only has about 2000 miles on it. I called 11/9 to start a claim. I've been on the phone several times for an hour each time I've called. I've taken to transmission shop, they ran diagnostic and proved codes. I sent to Mike and he called me to tell me I needed to take back to shop and have additional diagnostic run. I am unhappy with movares as I'm having to go thru hoops to get this transmission replaced. The first time dealing with movares on first transmission was a headache, now I'm having to go thru this again.

Date of transaction: 11/07 Amount: 1544.75 A transmission with a 3 year warranty or 75,000 miles, I only got 16,335 miles out of it Not honoring their warranty The business has not tried to resolve the problem invoice transaction XXXXXXXXXXXXX I have much more information, with dates and times of phone calls but I can not fit in this box. The date of the transmission issue was 4/13 I spoke with the company, Moveras, on 4/15 and 4/16.
My transmission is warrantied. I submitted accurate paperwork for actual work and towing because of their faulty transmission. 3 months later it comes. And now they sent a labor reimbursement for a third of the actual cost. Not fair. No communication.
Transmission replacement - New unit from Moveras 1. Unit was less than 2 years old 2. 3 year warranty 3. lost 3rd and 4th gear The labor and materials cost for installation was approximately $950 1. reimbursed $400 for labor and $20 for fluid They are aware that these rates to not come close to covering the installation and cost of fluid. It seems to be a mechanism for them to short the end consumer while padding their profit margin
I bought one transmission from this place and it started slipping 11,000 miles later still haven't received my refund for having an installed
I bought one transmission from this place and it started slipping 11,000 miles later still haven't received my refund for having an installed which isn't the full amount of what I paid to have it installed. Now I had to get another one through warranty and it's got 2500 miles on it and it's slamming into second gear I have not pulled a trailer or anything. So I called to find out what I needed to do and they told me to take it somewhere pay for them to check it and let them know what the problem is. But I told him I'm five hours away from home on vacation I am stuck here and I do not have the money to drop it off anywhere to get it looked at. So I asked them if they could pay for somebody to service it and see what's wrong with it and fix it and they told me no so now I am stuck five hours from home with a limited amount of money.

0n 6/20 I received the first transmission paid $900.00 for the install of the transmission
0n 6/20 I received the first transmission paid $900.00 for the install of the transmission. On 08/03 I received the 2nd transmission cause the first one was covered under warranty. The first transmission lasted 13 months approx 11,000 miles. Paid another $900 for install on 08/03 which the transmission was a bad rebuild from the start. It lasted less than 50 miles. On 08/18 I received the 3rd transmission and yet again paid $900 for that install as well as well as replaced the parts required to remain under warranty. The 3rd transmission lasted 600 miles. Currently I have no vehicle. Rented a vehicle during the time frames since this is my only transportation to and from work. The third transmission went out on 09/02. I have since been without a vehicle and received 3 bad rebuilds per their warranty department. I am seeking full reimbursement for the costs incurred for 3 bad transmissions.

On March 16 I purchased a transmission from Advanced Auto Parts
On March 16 I purchased a transmission from Advanced Auto Parts. I spent $2,265 + tax. Took the transmission to my transmission shop and paid them $852.78 to remove the old transmission in my 2010 Dodge Journey and put in the NEW transmission from Advanced Auto Parts, who got the transmission from Moveras. Transmission from Moveras was no good. My shop and I went through all their steps to get 2nd transmission from Moveras to replace the 1st one that was gotten from them. I paid the shop ANOTHER $850.00 to replace the 1st Moveras transmission with the 2nd. 2nd transmission was no good. I have been trying to get a refund of my purchase price ever since. Moveras is saying it is up to Advanced Auto to refund my money. Advanced Auto says its up to Moveras. I want my $2,423.55 from Moveras or Advanced Auto. I have spent $4,126.33 - $235.00 (what Moveras jokingly sent) = $3,891.33 on a transmission and STILL do not have a driveable car.

Purchased a transmission through Auto Zone with a 3 year warranty
Purchased a transmission through Auto Zone with a 3 year warranty. Cost me $2,900. Got the transmission had it put in. Drove it on the freeway and lost all power and light came on saying faulty transmission. Went through *** for them to send another out. Saying they are tested and that you need to do a bypass and by a part. Spent $178 on the part they told me to get and still faulty transmission light says. Get the next transmission and put it in and it runs fine. Asked the company for my money back for the labor on the 1st One and they said they would give it back, when they get the old one. Get it and I get the run around for weeks. Finally they said they refuse to give me the money bc the coolant was over filled. I know that's a lie bc a mechanic of 20+ years wouldn't over fill it. They just refuse to give me the money. How do I know their word will stand if I need another transmission before my 3 year warranty is up. They don't stand by their word.

I bought a remanufactured transmission for 2002 Toyota 4Runner
I bought a remanufactured transmission for 2002 Toyota 4Runner. Transmission was around $2250 I believe including a $605 core charge. I brought to a mechanic shop to have it out in. They put it in and the transmission did not work. The mechanic opened up the pan to see if they maybe forgot to replace a certain part and when he opened the pan up there was metal chips inside. I've called them and my mechanic has also called them. It's been about 3 weeks now with no call back! This is a major inconvenience to people like me who need there vehicle for everyday transportation. I was told on the they need to speak to my mechanic first and they said "we will call the mechanic if we have time, because of high call volume and traffic" if you have time? Really? For something you spend almost $3000 on you'd think they would at least have good customer service... but no I was on hold for an hour and a half just to be told they will call the mechanic if they have time.

I ordered a 350 motor and transmission from moveras through AutoZone
I ordered a 350 motor and transmission from moveras through AutoZone. The transmission went bad reference number XXXXXX. The replacement transmission went bad. I'm waiting on the 3rd transmission. The bill for the 2nd transmission swap is close to $2,000. The Mechanic's Shop RC Automotive Repair called saying moveras only wants to pay $300 + 20% of the fluid and other parts purchased. As I'm still waiting for the 3rd transmission, there is going to be another $2,000 bill from the mechanic's shop when it gets installed. $1800 for first transmission $1934.67 for first transmission install $1934.67 for second transmission install (that moveras doesn't want to pay) $1934.67 estimate for the 3rd transmission install that is going to happen here soon I hope. $480 for new radiator (again) $60 for external cooler $250 for fluid already. $25 map sensor $30 for coolant lines Plus I bought a new motor. If I wanted to spend $10,000 I'd have bought a truck. 1995 GMC k2500

The transmission I purchased was faulty and now Moveras's warranty depart won't answer the phone
The transmission I purchased was faulty and now Moveras's warranty depart won't answer the phone. Lured in by the 3yr/unlimited mile warranty, I ordered a remanufactured transmission from Moveras through my local *** store 11/30 for my 2010 Forester. I was told it would be three weeks until my transmission would show up, but didn't ship until 6 weeks after order was placed. After getting the transmission installed by the best transmission shop in Denver, the AWD system acted like 4WD (wheel speed not variable). I drove it for a few days, thinking the computers may need to recalibrate, but the problem continued. I took my car back into the transmission shop, and the shop discovered an issue with the transmission Movaras sent me (wasn't remanufactured properly) and now my rear differential is ruined because of this. My shop has been trying to contact Moveras to get warranty support, and cannot get anyone to call them back. My Subaru has been in the shop 13/14 last wks.

I purchased a remanufactured transmission off of moveras through powertrain.com
I purchased a remanufactured transmission off of moveras through powertrain.com. On [protected]. My truck had approximately 212,000 miles as of today [protected] it currently has 226,657 miles on it. They required me to have a mechanic with a cpu to come to my residence to do all sorts of tests and jump through hoops basically before they determined the unit was defective and agreed to send a new unit under the 3 yr 75000 mile warranty. However they will not refund any costs associated with the new install or parts they are requiring me to replace which are still good nor will they refund any money that I've spent on transportation nor any costs I've incurred due to this being my only mode of transportation. To me this is poor business for the customers and I'd advise anyone buying the junk they sell. I was promised to have the transmission this week shipping from New Hampshire now they are stating the transmission was just shipped today 7-27 and won't be in till 8-5 causing more cos

Transmission is a bad transmission took to shop paid the labor and still have not recieved a new one to get put in the truck and no answer from compan Since we have purchased this transmission we have had a headache over it. Called Company and did what they asked paid out of pocket 3x's or more for the diagonic done on the transmission and mechanics were told to put high price fluids in it and that worked for 4 months, had to travel to get to my sons wedding and transmission went and been waiting for them to send transmission and cant get ahold of them now, its been 3 weeks and the mechanic is waiting to put it in. We had to pay out of pocket 880.00 for labor and we paid it and still no transmission. The cost of Transmission was 4300.00 and we had to pay labor up front and we did and now no answer from company and im stuck in another state waiting for transmission to get done and get back home for work. This is so frustrating and if i loose my job because of this its really going to be hard... We were gaurteened that this transmission would out live our motor and that was a lie, they said they only pay 50.00 per hour for labor, i would really like to know what mechanic charges 50.00 per hour for labor, i had to pay 110.00 an hour for labor and when i do a labor claim i wont even get anything back. i cant even get threw to get a number for my labor claim... if there is anything anyone can help me with me it would be appreciated very much

Order for a remanufactured 68rfe was placed through Autozone on 10/24 received and he installed on 12/23
Order for a remanufactured 68rfe was placed through Autozone on 10/24 received and he installed on 12/23. Paid 4,767.10 for the transmission and core charge, received $1300 code charge back when I returned the transmission. Then paid $1546 for installation and parts to install. Fast forward to 2/7/22 with less than 3k miles, the truck wouldn't move and left me stranded away from my house. I had the truck towed back home, an additional $150 and contacted support who advised me to add fluid and if it moved to change the filters and refill. I did that, spending another $165 on fluid and filters, during this I noticed metal pieces in the oil pan and sent them to tech support. One filter was completely loose from moveras. I then drove the truck and did not have 4-6 gear. I contacted them and they were sending a replacement. When I went back outside the truck he rolled into a tree off of a bank, where I had to spend an additional $375 to have it winched out. I contacted moveras to ask for a refund for the transmission only. Not counting the labor/fluids/towing from their carelessly built product. They told me they can only refund it if I pull the transmission out of the wreck which was collected by the insurance company. Obviously this is not a possibility due to it being on their salvage lot. Insurance has deemed a lower value due to an already damaged transmission. This has been a ridiculous experience and I hope no one ever has to deal with this company.

I purchased a transmission from Moveras Transmissions through Auto Zone on 7/21
I purchased a transmission from Moveras Transmissions through Auto Zone on 7/21. I paid $2751.99 with a core charge return of $1000. I had the transmission placed by a certified mechanic. I had to pay almost $1000 to have it installed. I was told when I purchased the transmission that I had a 3 year warranty on it. I started having trouble with my truck not wanting to change gears in October . I immediately contacted Auto Zone, at which time they gave me the number to call the company. I called the company and had to wait on hold for almost an hour, only to be told to have my mechanic run diagnostic test and to call them with the results. They told me to have him give the reference number *** when he calls. He has tried calling almost everyday only to hold for over 25 minutes, talk to someone that tells him they are connecting him to someone else, where he has to stay on hold and never speak to anyone. I think this company is a scam. Why would they have the customer to call with problems when we deal with the salesperson at Auto Zone for everything else. I think it is just away for them to keep from honoring their warranty. I am a Registered Nurse that is working through a pandemic. I am tired and shouldn't have to pay others to take me back and forth to work! It's embarrassing to say the least. I am unable have a social life at all. I have been more than patient, but I am getting very frustrated at this point. I need my truck fixed. I need them to honor everything they say they are going to honor. I am going to be out of more money for labor having the transmission pulled out and replaced (If the company will ever talk with my mechanic).

Transmission was defective
Transmission was defective. Replacement part did not solve. Labor costs rose and resolution still left me thousands of dollars in the hole. I've had a horrible experience with order # *** (Moveras ticket #XXX XXX). I purchased (5/5) a remanufactured transmission via *** for $3001.73. I organized with a local mechanic for the product to be sent directly to a them, who would install the product for an estimated $750. The following were my issues, in order 1) Failed to notify me of shipping to organize with mechanic. (5/19) 2) Failed to notify me of extra parts necessary to satisfy warranty. 3) Product was defective. Mechanic worked with me to contact Moveras and order replacement part to resolve issue. (5/21) 4) Replacement part was ordered 2 business days after requested and sent to wrong address. 5) When part was finally delivered (6/1), it did not resolve issue. 6) Solution was presented to send entire new unit, which would take weeks to deliver. I was on the hook for the $1,741.97 in labor and parts for defective part and would not be recompensed. I was told they'd attempt to cover labor for installation of replacement product (estimated at $750 from mechanic), but that 1741.97 would not be refunded. 7) I was told (by Moveras warranty agent on 5/25) I could apply the warranty towards this costs. I argued this was a customer service problem, as I had yet to receive the working product. I believe a customer should be able to receive a working product they paid for at no extra cost, after which a warranty would kick in. They disagreed, stating it'd fall under warranty. 8) I decided to return the defective product as I was now going on 3 weeks without my vehicle. The mechanic also noted worries about the general quality of the product. 9) My $3001.73 was refunded to my card for the purchase, but I was still out the $1,741.97 to the mechanic for all the parts/labor attempting to fix the faulty transmission. I also logged over 7 hours of time on the phone with Moveras and *** Numerous promises to return my calls were broken.
