El sábado 12 de noviembre de 2022 Movistar tuvo una actualización que afectó tanto a nuestros televisores como a ambos mandos. Intentamos obtener ayuda a nivel local y luego a nivel nacional sin resultados. Como era un fin de semana y se acercaba un feriado el lunes 14 de noviembre de 2022, llamamos el lunes a la línea de ayuda nacional. Al hacer contacto, intentaron solucionar nuestro problema sin éxito. Dijeron que no podían garantizar ningún soporte técnico debido a las vacaciones. Así que el martes 15 de noviembre de 2022 fui a la oficina de Movistar en Cali, Colombia Avenida 6A Norte No. 22N-46 y me dijeron que tendrían un técnico en la casa el miércoles por la mañana. El miércoles 16 Noviembre, 2022 por la mañana no apareció ningún técnico ni llamó para decir que no podían asistir a la cita. Así que el miércoles volví a la oficina de Movistar y nuevamente me dijeron que el técnico se presentaría en nuestra casa el jueves Noviembre 17, 2022 por la mañana. Ningún técnico vino ni llamó el jueves por la mañana. Entonces volví a bajar a la oficina de Movistar por tercera vez y el gerente Carlos dijo que el técnico estaría allí el sábado Noviembre 19, 2022 por la mañana. No apareció ningún técnico, pero recibí un mensaje alrededor de las 6:00 p. m. de que estaría allí el lunes Noviembre 21, 2022 por la mañana. Lunes por la tarde y no hay técnico ni llamada. Así que llamé a Carlos, el gerente, y él dijo que se encargaría de los problemas y hasta ahora no he recibido ningún aviso de Carlos Noviembre 22, [protected]) de que un técnico vendrá a nuestra casa para arreglar nuestro televisor y los controles. Han pasado onche días y nunca he tenido un servicio tan pobre ni he oído hablar de tal servicio de una compañía que anuncia que es la mejor. ¡Mejor en qué! No puede ser servicio al cliente. Lo que se obtiene de todas las personas con las que hablé, incluido el gerente Carlos de Movistar, es que no les importa. Bien si pasa y bien si no pasa. Veré que pasa y seguro que no voy a la oficina de Movistar porque me frustro que no muestran que crean lo que me pasa no solo a mi sino a todos los clientes. Quizá alguien de Movistar se ponga en contacto con Carlos y me avise al 100% que viene un técnico a solucionar nuestro problema. July 12, 2022 I sent you an email about the same request to stop charging for the terminated telephone line. (Your transaction number: C12203V86B1HEV). You have not answered yet! You are still charging my account € 112,00 per month.
At March 14, 2022 I applied for a new line, which was installed immediately. The cost for the new line [protected] are supposed € 38 per month.
The need for the change of the telephone lines resulted from the fact, that you extended the services without our consent. You were unable to free our former contract from the unwanted services. Your service people suggested to terminate the former contract and apply for a new one. I followed their advice and returned the former router.
By my calculation your monthly bills exceed the €38 by €74! I am requesting for a reimbursement of 5 month overpaying my regular bill (€370).

81 year old, partially handicaped, living alone without any family in Spain, her telephone + internet have been completey cut off for weeks, without even any possibility for her family in Belgium to contact her.
Please understant that this situation is unacceptable, not to mention extremely dangerous for her sanity and security.
We, her family in Belgium, we do urge you to acnowledge receipt of this message, and most of all o re-establish the communication for Marie Leone, at the minimum to allow us to get in touch with her.

Bill/cancelling services
I am so fed up of Movistar, I cancelled my contract in May this year. So far they have sent me 3 more bills. A communication company that doesn't communicate is basically a pile of thieving [censored]ers.
They have given me 2 cancellation codes and yet again this morning I received yet another bill. Absolutely fuming. OPEC will be receiving my email in 10 min and I'm going to full ahead with denouncing them.
100mb student fiber optic connection installed on 17-10-2019
Being a student recently moved to madrid I took this connection almost 10 days back and struggling to have this wi-fi signals covering my small 100m apartment. Tried to reach to movistar through all forums (toll free number, movistar outlets, online complaints) but no one can understand due to my limited spanish proficiency. Multiple request to connect me to english speaker proved even futile. I have to pay euro 35 every month but I can not do browsing quite often even by sitting next to the router. If i'm sitting in the next room I cant even browse. No signal in just next room through this installed router. Dont know its the problem of router or the connection but I want somone to solve this issue. I'm student and i'm paying for this. Merci please assist me and solve my problem. Either install new router or find alternate, but I need wi-fi signals in my entire place with 100mb browsing speed for what im paying.
Refund for returned router
On 4/20/15, I cancelled service with Movistar and changed to Orange. It took until 6/24/15 for Movistar to actually cancel and give up the line to Orange. After a series of disastrous communication failures with the techs, they told me that they couldn't take the router, so I held onto and phoned Movistar, was then told to return it to a store for a refund that had been taken out of my checking account on 9/4/15 for 31.46 euros, which I did on 9/12/15 ref. On 10/5/15 filed ref. claim [protected] On 10/28/15 filed ref. claim [protected] On 11/6/15 filed ref. claim [protected] (filed 2 times with additional info) Was repeatedly told that the money would be returned to my account within 10 days, within 2 days, and then within 3 to 6 months! I was told by Magarette on 11/6/15, that the money was to go towards my account! I no longer had an account with Movistar. I do not believe that this should take so much time and that with the use of a call center being used that perhaps it's more beneficial to use an automated system.
Fusion
DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY
Movistar are the WORST compnay i've ever had the misfortune of dealing with - not only are they complete and utter pirates but everytime you call customer services about a complaint (frequently) they tell you a completely different story than the last agent.
I signed up for 'fusion' (ADSL + fixed line + Mobile) - one monthly bill for all three my backside... Ive only had this 'fusion' service for 2 months, and have not for a single minute had use of my mobile for outgoing calls; no one can tell me why other than i have an outstanding bill, which i have now paid x3 times for. Not only that, but i was charged 106EUR for making international calls from my mobile last month, when:
1) i couldnt make calls last month
2) international calling is barred anyway
After literally dozens of calls to their awful customer service (the last one actually told me to shut up?!?) they told me that there was nothing owed, and i should wait up to 48 hrs. Nothing. Customer service have escaleted the issue and a department would call me within 24 hours. Still nothing - that was 3 days ago. Please tell me im wrong - if you sign a contract for a service from a provider, they are legally oblidged to provide it. They haven't, despite charging for it. Thats called fraud. On top of that they told me the reason my outgoing mobile calls have been suspended could be due to an unpaid bill from sometime in the past? I was with Vodafone! Even if there was, nothing to do with my fusion contract.
Now they've switched of my mobile entirely. Havent got a clue whats going on and neither do they. Absolutely, utterly uselss. All i know is that ive now paid well over 200EUR for a 49.05EUR monthly bill and have yet to receive the service. On top of that - my ADSL was meant to be 20mbs, did a line test & its 1.5mbs. They said if i paid them an extra 6EUR they'd upgrade it to 6MBs - ima already supposed to be paying for 20MBs!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

This week, having cut off my home landline due to our not receiving the bill, we then had our service back in under 48 hours but for no reason we then lost our internet connection for 12 hours, the following day.
Today Movistar España have cut off the connection at my business. We paid the bill this morning, but the company have informed me that I will not have any service for 48 hours. When the mainline phones are working, the WIFI system does not work, in spite of Movistar technicians visiting both my home and the office to set the system up.

I cancelled my phone line in November 2017. Senator letter to Santander Bank to cancel direct debit. In April 2010 18 months later Telefonica took 304.00 euros from my account. I hand delivered another letter to Santander requesting they retrieve the money. Santander say they have not received my letters - I hand delivered them- and will not accept responsibility. Telefonica day it was a mistake and despite numerous visits to their office in Ontinyent and numerous emails to Santander I still have not received my money. This is theft by Telefonica/Moviestar and incompetence by Satander. I welcome any advice.
Ive been trying to contact movistar for months it took me 12months to get my contract cancelled. Now I want to recoup some of the money they kept thaking of me and also they had me on the most expensive tarriff I believe Ive been falsey charged over 2000 euros and I wont stop until I recover this from them.
I am now homeless because moviestar took too long to get a technician out to install my internet! I work online as a teacher and now i have lost my job after waiting for over a month...i didn't have the money to pay my rent. Why do you have an english department?!? My spanish friend called several times every week to complain...my friend was told by movistar that I was put on priority in the notes...but still nothing was resolved after two weeks. I tried to call once and i spoke to 8 different people in 3 hrs. I was put on hold for 10 mins each time, I was hung up on, I spoke to the English department only to be passed back to another spanish person..I don't speak Spanish so again what's the point in having an english department if they can't do anything! Joder! Jesús, Juan and Maria were all english speakers but very unhelpful...everyone at moviestar don't give a flying [censored] about there customers and the consequences it has on other people's lives! Now i have no home but they are still happy to take my money! Moviestar doesn't compensate you and doesn't apologies for there crap service. To this day I am unable to cancel my contract I have sent four emails and they respond back with what's your landline number! What the [censored]! It is clearly stated in the email...along with a [censored] load of other numbers, ref and my previous address..again I get no response by email either. I have complained on fb, email, phone, moviestars website, twitter is next and here. Can someone please do something! Is it really necessary to provide such a [censored] service!
Finally managed to terminate our Movistar contract after many problems (we are in Asturias), and we received a letter confirming they owe us 320 euros - which of course we have not received. Endless emails sent (in Spanish and English)but no response, even though acknowledgments state "we will respond within 24 hours". Also endless phone calls to their customer services (what services?) promising to put us through to someone who speaks basic English to help us, but all we get is recorded music forever - cost a fortune in Skype credit. Enlisted the help of Spanish friends who phoned on our behalf, they also got nowhere, Movistar could not find the details. We have now completed a communication to Telefonica head office.
Movistar ES..nothing but a greedy third world Phone company, who can get away with murder in spain. Cant even fix a local problem with wifi. If you can get another company do so.

After 4 calls of complaint have not received any satisfaction.
Last call of complaint they said it could be my router and they would have engineer to make contact with me to arrange a house call to check it out .
Another week passed with no response . SHOCKING SERVICE .
Checked online to find a number to call for ENGLISH . 1004 which is automated service in Spanish that ends and hangs up . This company are ripping us off .
