Public mobile review: affordable plans, reliable service, and limited phone selection
Public Mobile is a Canadian mobile service provider that offers affordable plans, good coverage, and a referral program. The company does not require customers to sign a contract, which gives customers the flexibility to switch plans or providers at any time. Signing up for Public Mobile is quick and easy, and their website is user-friendly. The company uses the same network as Telus, which provides good coverage across Canada. Public Mobile offers a referral program that allows customers to earn rewards for referring friends and family to the service. However, the company does not offer in-person customer support, which may be a drawback for some customers. Additionally, Public Mobile does not offer a wide selection of phones, which may be a drawback for those looking for the latest models. Overall, Public Mobile is a great option for those looking for an affordable phone plan with good coverage. If you are interested in signing up for Public Mobile, please consider using my referral code OK74XV to get your $10 sign up bonus.
Recommendation: If you're looking for an affordable phone plan with good coverage, Public Mobile is a great option.
Affordable and Reliable: A Review of Public Mobile's Mobile Phone Service
Public Mobile is a great option for those looking for a smooth and easy setup process. The porting of an existing number is fast, or you can customize a new number to fit your needs. SIM cards can be purchased for just $2.99 at Canadian Cell Supplies with free shipping, making it a cost-effective option for those on a budget.
One of the best features of Public Mobile is its good national coverage on the Telus network. This ensures that you can stay connected no matter where you are in Canada. The basic plans with add-ons that don't time expire fit my needs well, and I appreciate the flexibility that this offers.
Another great aspect of Public Mobile is the several reward options available to lower your monthly bill. These discounts add up over time and are welcome for those of us on a retired fixed income. It's always nice to save a little extra money each month, and Public Mobile makes this possible.
Overall, I highly recommend Public Mobile for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable mobile phone service. And don't forget to use the code 7PNPN8 for a $10 sign-up bonus!
Disappointing Experience with Public Mobile: Website Navigation, Credit Card Restrictions, and Poor Customer Service
Public Mobile's website is a bit of a challenge to navigate, and it seems like they only accept Canadian credit cards. But even with these issues, they keep sending me emails asking me to set up automatic billing. I recently traveled to two different parts of the US, one of which was just over the Canadian border and heavily populated. Despite paying for roaming text, I was unable to receive any text messages.
If you need customer service, you won't find it on the main site. Instead, you'll be directed to join a separate community and create a new login just to submit a ticket. Then, you'll have to wait for someone to email you back. It's a frustrating experience.
Overall, my experience with Public Mobile has been pretty appalling. I hope they can improve their website and customer service in the future.
Affordable and Efficient: A Review of Public Mobile's Forum-Based Tech Support and Money-Saving Features
Public Mobile is a cellular provider that operates on the Telus and Bell network, offering affordable plans for those who want to save some money. Unlike other providers, Public Mobile doesn't have a call center, but let's be honest, who wants to wait on hold for an hour just to talk to a human at Telus or Bell? Instead, they offer forum-based tech support, which is a great way to get help quickly and efficiently.
One of the best things about Public Mobile is that they offer ways to make your bill cheaper. For example, if you sign up for auto pay, you can get $2 off your bill every month. Additionally, for every referral you make, you can get $1 off your bill. And if you're feeling extra helpful, you can even earn money off your bill by helping others on the forum.
If you're thinking about signing up for Public Mobile, feel free to message me here and I'll give you my referral number. It's a win-win situation - you get a great service and I get a dollar in advance. But even if you don't use my referral, Public Mobile is still a fantastic option for anyone looking to save some money on their cell phone bill.
Affordable and Reliable: A Review of Public Mobile's Prepaid Service
but it's enough for basic internet usage like browsing, social media, and email. The coverage is good, and the customer service is helpful and friendly. The website is easy to navigate, and the activation process is straightforward. The only downside is that there are no physical stores, so everything has to be done online or over the phone. Overall, Public Mobile is a great option for those who want to save money on their phone bill without sacrificing quality. With all the discounts and bonuses, it's hard to find a better deal. Plus, the fact that it's prepaid means that there are no surprises at the end of the month. Highly recommended!
Terrible Experience with Public Mobile: Unreliable Service and Poor Customer Support
Public Mobile is not a good choice for anyone looking for reliable phone service. I had a terrible experience with them when they failed to properly port my phone number. As a result, I was unable to receive any incoming calls or texts. This was a major inconvenience, especially since I had paid for the full month of service and was not receiving what I had paid for.
I tried to get in touch with customer service multiple times, but they were either unresponsive or not helpful at all. It was frustrating to deal with such poor service, especially when I was paying for it. What's worse is that during this time, my brother passed away and I was unable to receive any calls or texts from him. I explained this to Public Mobile, but they didn't seem to care. Their response was simply an exclamation mark and an emoji.
Overall, my experience with Public Mobile was terrible. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable phone service. Their customer service is unhelpful and their service is unreliable. If you're looking for a good phone service provider, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
Unleashing the Power of Creativity: A Review of 'The War of Art' by Steven Pressfield
There is no support from any staff whatsoever. The AI "Simon" is useless. My number wasn't completely transported and my original cellphone provider asked me to tell Public to send them another request. Of course, there is no one to talk to, just an endless login loop to try to start a ticket. Incompetent and useless by design. I deeply regret even trying with this provider. The only real person you may talk to is the sales agent. After that, it's $#*! you, too bad, nobody home, just a badly designed AI that hasn't the slightest ability to help. Even sewage garbage can't be this $#*!ty! Go back to cellphone provider school you idiots!
Public Mobile Review: Affordable Prices, Easy Set-Up, and Online Convenience
Public Mobile is a great carrier for those who prefer to do everything online. If you're not a fan of phone calls and being left on hold for hours, then this carrier is definitely for you. The lack of proper customer service may not be for everyone, but for me, it's a plus. The set up process was incredibly easy. All I had to do was get a sim card and follow the instructions. No need to worry about complicated set up processes.
One of the best things about Public Mobile is their prices. They use the same network as Telus, so you can be sure that you'll have proper coverage. And the point system is a great way to save money. You gradually acquire points which can be redeemed for money off your bill. It's a great way to save money without having to do anything extra.
If you're looking to sign up for Public Mobile, be sure to use the code 5VOOP8. You'll get a $10 credit just for signing up. It's a great way to save money right from the start.
Overall, I highly recommend Public Mobile. It's a great carrier for those who prefer to do everything online and don't want to deal with complicated set up processes. The prices are unbeatable, and the point system is a great way to save money. Just be aware that there is no proper customer service, so if that's important to you, this carrier may not be the best fit.
Unreliable Service and Poor Customer Support: My Experience with Public Mobile
I followed all the instructions provided by Public Mobile to set up and port my phone number. However, I was unaware that my phone number was not receiving calls or text messages for almost a month. It was quite frustrating to realize that I had been paying for a service that I was not receiving. To make matters worse, I am expected to pay for my next month of no service in a couple of days.
When I called their customer service line, I was disappointed to find out that they only provide account information or changes to it. They were not able to assist me with my problem. The only options for assistance were to go to a physical store and complain or to create a second Public Mobile account for their forums. Even then, I would have to wait for a few days to get a reply to my complaint.
If you are willing to take a gamble on paying for a service that you may not receive and jumping through hoops to correct it, then Public Mobile may be the right choice for you. However, if you value reliable and efficient customer service, then I would suggest looking elsewhere.
The photos attached to this review are from the Public Mobile Community 'Help' forum, which shows that I am not the only one who has experienced issues with their service.
Public Mobile's USA Roaming Plan: A Disappointing Experience on 3G Networks
I've been with Public Mobile for a couple of years now and I gotta say, I really like it. The only thing that's been a bit of a bummer is their USA roaming packages. When you're in the USA, Public Mobile uses AT&T and T-Mobile as their carriers. Now, AT&T has gone and converted their whole system to 4 and 5G, while T-Mobile is almost done with their conversion to 4 and 5G. Here's the thing though, Public Mobile's USA roaming plan can only be used on 3G networks, which are pretty much non-existent in the States now. Public Mobile's fine print says that the plan may not work everywhere in the USA, but they don't tell you where it will work or when it won't work. As it turns out, it hardly works anywhere. It's pretty disheartening to know that Public Mobile is knowingly selling their loyal customers a product that they know is very unlikely to work. I mean, integrity is a pretty important part of any business, right? They should sell a product that actually works, even if it costs a bit more.
Public Mobile's Website is a Complete Disaster: A Frustrating Experience
Public Mobile's website is a complete disaster, and I say that as someone who makes websites for a living. The whole process of purchasing a SIM card is unnecessarily complicated, as you have to create a "Public Mobile Community" account first. Once you have that, you can finally create a "My Account" account to actually buy a plan. But don't expect the website to work smoothly - there are dead links all over the place that lead to 404 errors or just redirect you back to the homepage. And if you try to change your province, you'll have to do it every time you navigate to a new page.
If you need to contact customer support, good luck. It's like they don't want to hear from you at all. I had to jump through so many hoops just to purchase a SIM card, and even then it took two weeks to arrive. When I contacted support about it, they did send another one, but it took another week to arrive. And when I tried to download the Public Mobile app using the QR code in the booklet, I found out that my phone was too old to support it. So I tried to use the website's chat feature, but it was a mess. The chat window opened with nothing in it, and then suddenly some input fields appeared with no labels or instructions.
But the worst part was when I tried to create my "My Account" account and it deleted my Community account and purchase history. It's unbelievable that a company as big as Telus can't manage to create a functional website. I'm so frustrated with Public Mobile that I'm just going to destroy the SIM card I purchased and find another provider. If you're thinking about trying Public Mobile, I wish you the best of luck - you're going to need it.

Affordable and Reliable: My Review of Public Mobile
But when I finally got it, I was pleasantly surprised. The prices are really good and the service is reliable. I haven't had any issues with dropped calls or slow data. Plus, I like that there are no contracts, so I can switch plans or providers whenever I want. The only downside is that the customer service can be a bit slow to respond, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Overall, I'm happy with Public Mobile and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable phone plan.
Terrible Experience with Public Mobile: Poor Support, Technical Issues, and Unfair Charges
Public Mobile is a company that I had a really bad experience with. I tried to activate my phone with them, but I kept getting an error message that said "821". I tried to get help from their support team, but it took two whole days of emailing back and forth before they finally responded. Even then, they weren't able to fix the problem. I couldn't access their website, and I couldn't transfer my phone number over to their service. To make matters worse, they charged my credit card twice, even though I never received any service from them. When I asked for a refund, they refused to give me one. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this company.
Public Mobile Review: No Customer Service, Volunteers Clueless and Disrespectful
Public Mobile ain't got no customer service, you gotta go online and talk to some volunteers who ain't got no clue what they're doing. They waste your time with all these verification questions and don't even help you out in the end. One of them even made fun of me and didn't even bother to answer my question. I'm so mad I switched to this company. This is my last month with them, and I'm telling y'all to do your own research and think twice before you sign up.
Let me tell you, Public Mobile is a real pain in the butt. You can't even call them up if you got a problem, you gotta go online and talk to these volunteers who act like they're doing you a favor. They ask you all these questions and make you jump through hoops just to get a simple answer. And half the time, they don't even know what they're talking about.
I had this one volunteer who was a real piece of work. They made fun of me and acted like I was stupid for asking a question. I mean, come on, I'm paying for this service, the least they could do is treat me with some respect.
I'm so done with Public Mobile, I'm switching to a different company as soon as my contract is up. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and do some research before you sign up with them. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Since being with Public Mobile I have experienced no problems with the service. Further the service plan I signed up for is one of the most economical amongst service providers. Also Public provides incentives for remaining with their network. For a $10 credit at activation I used referral code Z3ZP59.
This is a reliable phone network.
