Gmail interface in Firefox
The interface for Gmail with my latest Firefox update is ridiculous how much the UI changed and is no longer intuitive, I am switching to using it in Chrome wher eeverything looks as it always has looked previously.
Can you fix this horrible change to the GUI for Gmaiul on Firefox?
rob.[protected]@group47.com
Desired outcome: Go back to the wauy it was
Firefox for Sierra OS 10.12.6
Since the last few upgrades (I'm up to Firefox 90.0.2) I find blank pages on many petitions I wish to sign, and am forced to use Safari to complete them. (Normally, I NEVER use Safari.) I would like this fixed. It's a nuisance.
The last time it happened (about 10 minutes ago), I was signing an Elizabeth Warren petition. It doesn't happen with well known petition sites, but has happened often enough with other sites, including Lakota People's Law Project (the next most recent incident, yesterday.)
Desired outcome: Please, fix it!
Firefox 90
COMPLAINT: Is anyone developing a sheer hatred for Firefox 89/90? Firefox forced me to 'upgrade' to their new stupid browser since 88 and now NOTHING seems to work.
1) The tabs are misaligned and no delimiter between them
2) All my previous passwords and sites went missing after I upgraded - thanks Mozilla!
3) I can no longer use Google as the search engine. Mozilla is forcing me to use Bing in their browser
This is so juvenile and high school. But maybe Mozilla is run by high-school punks. Who knows? Anyone else want to sue Mozilla to smithereens?
as for the passwords and sites [im guessing bookmarks] you can go to the firefox folder in your computer and look in profiles. one of the profiles will have the bookmarks you saved. then you need to go into the profiles ini file and change the line that says "user profile" to the string that has the bookmarks.
i know this cause i have had to fix it a few times when the update messes up things.
as for search engine that can be changed in the settings [should also be saved in the profile] i dont recall the section but its in there.
Scam in Firefox.
When I opened a new tab in Firefox a page with the Firefox logo and title Browser Opinion Survey appeared. It offered an Apple Phone worth Rs.118440 for Rs.179. For that it asked me to provide my Bank card details. Online search revealed it is a scam. This is serious security breach in Firefox.
Firefox homepage
Please stop putting pictures and stories of disgusting things like cockroaches.
No other browser homepage has such pictures and stories. Please be considerate enought to imagine that I might be having my lunch or dinner while browing and the first page I go to is Firefox homepage. The other day you had snakes - really? There's national geographic for that1! You've put cockroaches twice now so far. Find something else to talk about please.
I can't add picture as evidence becasue I can't bear to look at it but its there and you know it becasue you putit there!
Desired outcome: no cockroaches or snakes or other creepy creature s or disgusting stories on the Firefox homepage please
this is not their fault. its a news feed ticker that randomly picks trending stories or what your area has searched. someone in your location close to you seems to like searching snakes and roaches. i believe Firefox doesn't have control over the news feeds.
Unethical emails in my yahoo email id "[protected]@yahoo.com"
There is one site "[protected]@(blank).com". It fills the (blank) space with alphabets in meaningless order and sends emails which contain distasteful photos of women. I have been blocking the site(s). But one change of alphabet in the (blank) space makes it a new site enabling it to continue posting emails as aforesaid. As is well aware, one can generate millions of sites by combination and permutation and continue to send unwelcome, undesirable emails.
this is more a phishing/social engineering scam than Firefox. the scammer is sending them for some reason to you. this isn't really Firefox's fault for someone wanting to breach your email.
Firefox
It's become bloated & Sooooo Sloooow
Sometimes individual elements (boxes) of a web page don't load at all... just a blank box with nothing in it. Sometimes fore a minute or so, sometimes 5-10 seconds, but NEVER just loads all of a complicated page (TD Webbroker Home page) in a quick snap. It did used to do it ok. But now.. It's now plain garbage.
Also bookmarks double spaced or so FOR NO F'n reason
90.0b10(64bit)
Desired outcome: Fix the issues & get some quality control testers worth their salt.
Firefox bookmarks
The recent updates of Firefox. I hate the what you have done to the bookmarks the line spacing is too much and I don't see a way to change from the black background with white lettering, also old bookmarks that have been deleted are showing up again.
What gives get it fixed.
Also it is very hard to contact you to file a complaint.
So now I have to have 350 characters just another reason to say you don't want to hear complaints
Firefox new browser today
I can barely see the icons on my "new tab" page.
They used to be big and findable - now it's as if I were sitting 6 feet from my desktop monitor trying to read it.
GIVE ME BACK MY OLD LARGE ICONS
And while you're at it, make a link on your" help" page to this complaint page. "Help" now wants me to register with a 3rd party just to comment or make a suggestion. Maybe i could complain there, but i shouldn't have to give you access to my facebook page or my twitter feed just to comment.
Finally, please respond. Email should be enough to contact Mozilla.
Desired outcome: some way to make the icons larger on the new tab page - like they used to be.
My email login with yahoo email
Started on 5/29/2021. Would not let me login to my yahoo email account and then flashed some bogus help screens that would not work. I even call yahoo and could not trust their foreign help agent from who knows where. I've been a FireFox customer for 20 years or more. I went on Chrome, and Edge and my email came right up when I logged in. It looks like I may have to cancel out FireFox and use a better browser, unless Firefox can fix this problem overnite. and even then I would be skeptical of FireFox's capabilities in the future.
Desired outcome: Browser should work as good as Googles and Microsofts
Firefox browser issues
Having used Firefox for many years I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. So, even when a PDF display of the Ubiquiti Edge Router X Quick start guide failed to include, on page 7, the numbers below the picture I sent in a bug report on Bugzilla. I never got a reply and the bug still exists so users cannot depend on the PDF display. This was an embarrassment as I complained to Ubiquiti that the manual was missing items 2 and 3. But I continued using it.
I used it despite a multitude of tabs that crashed and had to be restored.
I stopped using it when it gave the message:
Unable to play video.
Sorry, this video cannot be played while your device is connected to this external monitor. For more information, see our Help Center.
When trying to play "He Ran all the Way" at the Criterion Collection website.
The same video will play on Google Chrome.
So, how bad is Firefox? Bad enough that I no longer use it.
Desired outcome: Mozzilla should just work and not have these issues.
Firefox browser.
26 March 2021 About 4pm.
Got FireFox update to V 87.0
Win 7 pro
Attempted to open wife's att.net email that we have been using for years.
Get message: "An error occurred while processing your request.
Reference #97.846533b8.[protected].1bf8dcd6 " in upper left corner. The rest of the page is blank.
Go to different browser and it opens fine.
Please advise.
Thank you

Firefox
One of the latest updates to my browser Firefox included a rectangular area in the top left corner of the screen that display the VOLUME CHANGE when one clicks to increase or decrease THE volume. It lasts for a few seconds and blocks the data that is underneath.
For users of Excel and Photoshop, it blocks essential links on the header and is entirely FRUSTRATING that one's work is delayed by an unnecessary indicator.
PLEASE REMOVE THIS VOLUME INDICATOR.
Desired outcome: Remove the VOLUME INDICATOR.
Firefox Censure of Conservatives
For over 20 years, I have used Mozilla products such as Firefox and Thunderbird among others. I used them daily, but can no longer.
I just read that Firefox (Mozilla) will censure conservatives; how, I can only imagine. Censuring anyone's point of view is dangerous and un-American. Germany did this in the 30's and Russia, China and North Korea do it today. Add Firefox (Mozilla) to this list.
Today, I have totally deleted all Mozilla software from all of my computers and have found some great alternatives to replace them. I cannot in good conscience continuing supporting you while you limit access to the conservatism.
Desired outcome: Stop your dangerous bias toward conservatives.
I think you are one of those who believe in Qanon.
Deplatforming
Who do you think you are to decide what I do or do not see online? Do you think you're my nanny? Firefox has become a crappy lump of bloatware and will now be uninstalled. In other words, YOU are being deplatformed.
Desired outcome: Mozzilla is no more.
Firefox browser?
I have always liked Firefox as it seemed easier to use. However, I recently had a very annoying experience. I have the occasional flutter on Bet365 and logged in successfully but when I tried to make a bet it didn't work. I thought there must be a problem with the site. The bet I tried to make was on a golfer called Laurie Canter at 66/1 for the Italian Open, when I tried again he was 45/1 but still didn't work and later at 40/1 again no good. I didn't think to try a different browser. I tried today on google edge (?) and worked perfectly. All the attempts I made were before the first day (Thursday). Mr Canter played his best round ever of 12 under, 8 birdies and an eagle no dropped shots. You can imagine how annoying this was especially as I also tried to place a bet on another golfer called Tyrell Hatton at the ZoZo pga tournament in CA where he is tied for 2nd one shot off the lead!
I don't know if it's something to do with generated passwords which keep getting in the way. When I try to type in a password sometimes the firefox thingy is in the way.
Mozilla firefox 79 browser

Same notification keep coming on the top of the browser. This happen each time I open new website. I even uninstall and again reinstall browser but same problem is occur-ed again and again? Please solve this problem as soon as possible. I use firefox as a option of chrome.

Using your browser
On numerous occasions I have tried to access the Georgina Historical Society website both on Firefox which redirects to Yahoo and on Internet Explorer which redirects to Bing with the same result; all I get is sites related to Georgia instead of Georgina... your spelling algorithm is off. It DOES work properly in Google Chrome but not everyone uses that browser meaning that our website is unavailable to non-google users. What gives? why? What can you do to help us? Otherwise we will have to advise our membership to stop using all browsers except those developed by Google. Personally Firefox has been my go to browser for many years, but I will have to make a change if it will not support our website. I must say that both Yahoo and Bing have a decidedly American bias in their searches. I live in Canada... my feeling is if you want to do business with us up here, we need to be better accommodated.
Browser
Since last update from mozilla, its always logging me out of my firefox account and bringing up an old firefox account instead, which has not been used on this pc or other devices with firefox account and have removed old one many times from your list but after a couple of days its back - how is this possible when I have never used old details on here or login on any device. Please resolve this issue as I do recommend your browser to many ppl and at the moment too many ppl are reverting to chrome etc due to this issue.
