Mozilla this company still owe me funds and I can't wait to get them back!

A person from mozillademos.org who enrolled me on firefox in august said the company was closing and they would return $204.00 back in my account. I called my bank and was told that $212.00 was just taken out of my account. I then closed it and my computer was returned to my control. However, this company still owe me funds and I can’t wait to get them back!

Mozilla dishonest sales practices

I ordered a ADJ Fire fox light that is now discontinued, but was still listed for sale on their website. A sales person called me within a couple of days and told me that they no longer carried this item and to browse their inventory for something else which I told them that I wasn't interested in anything else. A few days past without any word from them about refunding my money. I called them again and stated that I wanted a refund promptly and he told me he was doing that as we spoke and to expect it within 3 business days. Time past without any sign of my refund so I called several times again demanding my refund without any return call from them on the matter. I eventually had to get my financial institution to intervene and I finally got my money returned after about a month and a half. If it hadn't been for my bank getting involved they still would have ignored me and kept my money. These people are no better than common thieves and in my opinion have no right to conduct business with anyone. BUYER BEWARE BIG TIME!

Mozilla both suck

I had been using Firefox as my default browser and Google as my default search engine, for a few years. Today however, Conduit took over, of its own accord. The search engine sucks ! more than half the page is paid advertisers, it wastes my time, trying to find what I want. Then I tried to get rid of Conduit and go back to Google as the search engine and it wouldn't let me. I spent half an hour and couldn't get my old settings back. So I decided to delete Conduit and all traces of Firefox from my computer, and have vowed never to go back to Firefox...I regard you as vandals and time wasters.

Ricknixon13, it sounds like you got a hijacker of your browser. This is usually a program bundled in a download of anther program that you would have downloaded. You should search for 'remove conduit from firefox' to find instructions on removal.

Mozilla script errors/freezing/non-responsive

For the past two months I continually get script errors/freezing and non-responsive messages from firefox. Screens lag and you can't do anything. Screens go blank and you have to go back to the desktop and start all over again! I have tried everything to get this to stop to no avail! What the heck is going on? This is very annoying and i'm thinking of moving to chrome if it doesn't get fixed soon. I run a very high end computer, so it is not on my end. Anyone have any ideas or is firefox going to fix this problem soon?

Warning to all do not upgrade the latest improvement is backwards. In one hour 4 crashes, no more video player, so slow that tree gum in December runs faster down the tree and then you will have script issues, and the list goes on. Need to role back to 27 and be happy now to try and find one without bugs in it. It is better than 32.

Firefox is the worst browser ever. Chrome doesn't open half the time forcing me to find a new browser, internet explore is soooooooooooooooooooo slow and that jst left me with firefox. Firefox instantly downloaded (Without permission and I have read the agreements) at least fourty other things that input viruses into my computer, I can't open anything without 100 popups in my face, and when I try to update firefox or even just update flash it switches webpages and won't let me! My computer is ruined I can not get it to work because of how messed with it has become. I hate this company.

I updated firefox to the most recent update on my laptop. The cursor would disappear. Windows/computer would freeze. Computer screen would go blank. It was a non-stop battle. Thought I had a virus so did a virus scan and all seemed good, no virus found. I didn't realize exactly what was going on until I downloaded the firefox updates on my home computer and and similar problems occured on that computer. Then my daughter complained of the same thing. I deleted firefox out of my home computer then reinstalled the newest version of firefox. I have not found any problems except that it's slow. I also downloaded Chrome. I deleted firefox completely out of my laptop and downloaded Chrome. Chrome is fast and has great reviews. I am now happy with Chrome. I hope firefox finds it's problems and creates a much better browser. We all live and learn.

I like Firefox. I appreciate a site with less problems and greater warnings. However, I'm 65, and I don't give a **** about new technology that I have to learn how to use. I'm focused on learning other stuff and don't have time or patience to deal with your website. I downloaded "Speed Dial" and my back & Forward arrows disappeared! Frustration! Couldn't find them again. Didn't find a RECOGNIZABLE option to get it back.

Don't name stuff different names. Keep the same names. I don't want to learn a whole new vocabulary in order to function online. I want home to be home, add to be just that, and whatever else goes on. And failsafe. If I can't find my way back to where I was without wanting to draw and quarter the website designers, I ain't gonna use it! It's too frustrating!

Firefox crashes all the time, no matter what the circumstances are. Does not have adequate contact services. Firefox should be off the internet, horrible internet engine search service. It crashes constantly. Would have contacted them to deal with the issue but they do not offer adequate contact services. Should be off the internet. They are HORRIBLE. FIREFOX, DO NOT INSTALL.

Mozilla useless piece of crap program

This program was the only one I used for browsing, after trying to start up firefox again and again I found it would simply not open. I think your software sux, it has absolutely no value in todays technological age. If you cannot get the program to work why even bother creating it. Now I have to resort to using internet explorer which I hate. Thanks for nothing.

Every time I play my online radio, and try to play Cityville on FB it crashes! It crashes everyday on my Mozilla browser. I wish this problem would get fixed. I shouldn't have this many crashes. It's even when I'm only playing a game. Either way it crashes everyday.

Mozilla forced updates

It upsets me to the core when a company forces updates of their products on the user without respect for the user. This is still MY computer and I like to be able to control what and when downloads or updates occur. It's irresponsible and disrespectful for any software company to "ASSUME" I'm going to want their updates at the earliest possible time, whether convenient for me or not. I have so many problems with the browser now and have been trying to get back to the stable version before 4.0, which can't be found anywhere. Ram-rodding your product down our throats is not going to make us like the product any better and, from what I've seen, may not fix previous issues. In fact, I used to support Firefox very strongly, but with what I've seen lately from the product's stability and with how they treat customers like uneducated peons who aren't capable of determining what's best for my computer and by initially taking that decision away from me by controlling my PC downloads for me, I don't think I want any part of this any longer.

first of all, you can turn off automatic updates to Firefox, or set it to let you know when there is an update and you can choose if you want it or not. Your Firefox is just set up wrong.

Secondly, you can download all the previous versions for free going back to Version 0.6 (why anyone would want that I don't know).

I agree. I hate this latest version of Firefox. (8) I no longer can get google toolbar for some dumb reason. The choice of options to put in the menu bar are useless. Slow as ever and freezes. It's too bad that what used to be a good browser has gotten as bad as IE. Very disappointing. Whoever the dumb [censored] is that is making these updates should be fired.

Mozilla freezing

On my laptop, every time I get on Firefox for more than 2 minutes, my entire computer freezes. I can move the mouse, but can't click or close anything. I have to hard reset my computer every time. It's been doing this for a week, and I thought I had a virus. Virus scans came up clean, and I tried internet explorer and it works fine. I need to use Firefox for my job (Google internet assessor), so I'm having to use whatever computer is available. What's wrong with the Firefox on my computer?
*Note: Yes, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. Twice.

I have been using Mozilla for almost two years now. Since a week ago it started crashing and freezing the entire time I have been using it. I'm writing my final exams and need to download notes from my university's website. This is highly irritating and frustrating. Why can't someone help me? Tried to contact the company - to no avail. And the "well this is embarrassing" notes and the "we're sorry" notes when crashing is not funny anymore. Tired of struggling to use this product. I even used Internet Explorer and enjoyed it more today... And we all know that Internet Explorer is not very famous...

Mine does not freeze but when I shut off my laptop, it always says waiting for a program to close and gives me the option to force it to close. The first time I checked to see what was not closing and it was Firefox, so now when it comes up I check to make sure it is Firefox and then I force it to close. This thing never comes up when I use IE but I prefer Firefox.

Mozilla lost bookmarks

I have used Firefox for many years. However, since installing Firefox 4 it has lost bookmarks on too many occasions. It is not a trivial matter, unfortunately, because these bookmarks actually represent work opportunities for myself. I have persevered with Firefox 4 (I really have!) because I like it and I was loyal to it. But it has happened on too many occasions now. I will now use Chrome and I have uninstalled Firefox 4 from my computer. I hope you can sort out the problems soon.

Mozilla forced updating

I had downloaded an earlier version of FF and installed, when an update that I had done started messing up a lot of things -- just to simplify my life.

FF kept telling me that there were updates, and I would decline and ignore.

Up until yesterday, that worked fined.

Suddenly yesterday, FF FORCE downloaded and installed 3.16, and I couldn't stop it. No options to stop or quit anywhere.

Even CNTRL/ALT/DEL into task manager didn't work.

This REALLY PISSES ME OFF, that a program can do that without you giving it permission.

I am really on the verge of taking action against Mozilla for this. I actually would think about it if it wasn't freeware to start with.

I am just sick and tired of everyone FORCING me to do things (including healthcare).

How can you take a product like Firefox 3.6 and ruin it so badly? You took away the menu bar and then, after I restored it, I found that you took away "close tab" and "close window".

And, next, when I try to right click to open a URL, "open in new tab" and "open in new window", so I wind up opening a new window when I wanted to open a new tab.

And, to top it all off, when I shutdown Firefox and restart it later, all the open windows are not there. What's up with that?

If I find one more thing changed, I am falling back to 3.6. You guys have got to stop trying to keep up with Microsoft. There is a reason I don't use Internet Explorer. I hate that monstrosity.

It seems that whenever I REALLY need to use my "mail search" in yahoo to complete work, it stops functioning - just keeps cycling, trying to open. Some days it's OK, but lately it's been a terrible problem, lasting hours at a time, day after day sometimes. I thought it was a yahoo issue, but if I switch back to IE, it comes right up, all the time, even when down in Mozilla and no one seems to care over there...I'm exiting as soon as I can from the troubles.

Today I accidentally felt on a computer in which I had saved my account details (name and password) in Mozilla Firefox. The information showed up automatically on entering the mailing website. So someone could have accessed my account. Well, no problem here, everyone should know this. But the real problem came after.
I wanted to get rid of it and realised that my actual password, not the sequence of dots, could be known quite easily. I have never before been interesting in how to get rid of a saved password because I always believed that the actual word could not be known even with access to the sequence of dots. I believed that Firefox was saving passwords in a sort of coded form such that only an expert in computer programming could manage to know it. But I realised that I was completely wrong.
Anyway only how is it possible to save something electronically such that it is at the reach of no one else? I bet I don't have any confidence on those things of damn password any more. Look at .doc document files for example. I realised that if you have a windows operating system without Microsoft Office Word being installed, it will be possible to access the content of a protected file through WordPad. Believing that only an expert can actually do this, I appreciate this one at least. But Firefox just shows people's password as a normal option amongst others. That is someone can kindly go and access it. What is the meaning of this? Saving the password to avoid the trouble of writing it back all the time is understood. But then, who in the world will want to go to see what actually his own password is? I see this completely crazy; looks to me that Firefox does this on purpose. Someone should please tell me if there is any sense in this. What is the point saving once password if it means that anyone will then be able to know what actually it is? Well I suppose that many people don't know about this. Many people like to maintain the same password everywhere. So can you imagine what knowing the one used for the email account will mean?
Really, I wonder if Firefox is up to know good on this thing it does. I don't know how it goes with the other web navigation software and I don't care to know either. What I advise everyone is not to save their passwords at all.

I tried it once before. I found it to be annoying. A public place I frequent has installed it. It appears to contract viruses regularly while IE doesn't.
Now I have a new computer. I thought I'd try it again. It features some sort of download manager that is difficult to configure and sends my downloads to who knows where. I had enough.
It's gone.
I won't be trying it again.
And I just had to tell the world about it. Hello world.

Firefox3 is the worst browser, I have ever seen. I am using seamonkey in linux and I.E. in Win.
It hangs, it is slow and its too bulky.
It takes forever to load, and many times, you start typing the word and nothing will happen.
you try to switch between tabs and nothing will happen.
guess wat: it just hang ! what is the solution: go to task manager and kill the firefox and
curse the company that it made firefox3.

Even worse, you see some videos on youtube or google video or any other standard site and
after few mins, buh, everything gone. the player just crashed. you reload and it wont work.
solution: close the firefox and start again or switch the browser.

I give 1/10 point to firefox3 and also, i have stopped recommending firefox to anyone, these days.

and even worse, my firefox just hang and I am typing this complain from I.E.

Big business addresses get onto the web address drop-down and never leave, while frequently-visited sites do not get onto the list.

Mozilla ebay pictures

For at least 2 years, you made changes that prevent me from making picture copies of eBay Items that I just won. Retaining these pictures is very important as eBay has become more corrupt, with far more corrupt sellers than in the past.

I should be able to highlight the picture, right click, and then select SAVE AS to my hard drive.

It is LONG OVERDUE. Please fix this problem immediately. People across the nation are ### about this Mozilla problem -- and you created the problem.

Mozilla popup ad windows

For about 3 or 4 weeks I have been experiencing random new windows opening in Mozilla Firefox, featuring totally unwanted spam advertisements for things like on-line gambling, and on-line fantasy adventure gaming (the two I most remember).

There does not seem to be any discernible pattern as to when these unwelcome windows present themselves, except that it does seem to happen most when I am opening a new tab in an existing window.

There has not been anything too objectionable about the content of these ads so far (no pornography, etc. yet), but the frequency is either increasing or my tolerance to them is decreasing - I can't tell which.

I have been a constant proponent of Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird for ages and ages, converting I don't know how many people to your ranks. But I have to admit I am on the verge of switching back to Explorer or possibly Chrome, as I cannot stand these nuisance windows, and nothing I have used to try and get rid of them has worked so far (I have run Spybot Search & Destroy, AVG anti-virus, Glary Utilities and Ad-Aware - all without success).

Mozilla very, very, very bad program

Warning - firefox is very, very, very bad - my new virus software indicated a need to download firefox. I did. Wow, what a piece of crap. When i started up my computer the next day, guess what - internet explorer was no where to be found. Next, there were no favorites. And none of the add ons or plug ins were their either. I immediately downloaded the google tool bar, but it is a special one for firefox and none of my autofill information was there. I then went for the help information to see what was going on. I should have just turned and asked my chair for help - would have been the same results. I then decided to contact firefox and express my basic problems. Well - you can't. The closest i got after 15 minutes of searching was to be able to talk to a volunteer. I don't want to talk to a volunteer. I want to talk to someone that has some real involvement with the company. Didn't make any difference anyway as their hours of operation are just a few and i was not working in the time span of that "few". And i would bet after that “business operation times” information, even if i did contact them during the few hours they are available, it would probably take for ever to make actual contact, and then it would be of no real help since it looks like a lot of people really hate firefox. To top things off, i did their survey and they wanted to know if i would be going back to internet explorer 6 or 7. Hey, i have been using 8 for some time now - and i love it. My blessed internet explorer 8 is back by doing a remove from the control panel, which it seemed to do, but that window is locked up now and will not close. Probably some firefox attempt to keep me from dumping their program. Of the many, many, many people i know using the web, i actually do not know one person using firefox - and it looks like i know why. Oh, you probably wonder how i know a lot of people hate firefox when i don't know anyone that uses it? Well that is simple though firefox people probably can't understand it, but i simply did a complaint search on the net after i got my internet explorer back and boy was that an eye opener. My advise – if you are thinking about firefox – get a gun and go fox hunting. If you already have a gun, don’t have it near you if you download firefox. You could end up shooting your computer and it’s not it’s fault.

Mozilla blocks yhaoo email application

Mozilla Firefox 3.0.4 has disabled the Yahoo mail application. It lets you get onto the home page, but then does not let you log in to your mail server.

It can clearly be seen in the add-ons under Tools. What are they doing to fix it...? because 3.0.4 is their latest release. If there is something wrong with Yahoo and not Firefox they should let people know rather than just disable the application. If Yahoo has the fault, example a virus, they should inform their users with a date when their Mail Appication can be used again.

Mozilla pornography

Recently there have been pornographic pop-ups on my computer. They have all been on Mozilla Firefox. Normally I ignore these and exit out of them. But the last one was so horrifying that I need to write to you. Something needs to be done. This pop-up was not only porn, but the women seemed to be held down, without a choice. Whether or not this is real, I am still sick just thinking about it. If there are any sites to block pop-ups, please let me know, or I am switching my browser. Thank you.

It isn't FF that's causing porn and what not to pop up. Your infected with ad-ware. Most likely the generic type. Either that or a browser hijacker. Get yourself a anti-spy-ware program. And look into getting a better ad-block add on. ad-block plus script blocker ect. And it's working just fine for me. Reference=current Firefox user. See that was so simple w/o the swearing/name calling. FF-Tools-Add_Ons-extensions Search Ad block. Very simple install then restart FF.

I had the same problem with porn sites. I've had pop ups, which I've never clicked on. I'm a Christian and I'm frigid. I don't need that junk. I also had some porn sites on my bookmarks page. I blamed a friend who used my computer and he said that it wasn't him. I didn't believe him until I read these posts. I think it came from Firefox. I've also had problems with it not responding and freezing. It seems to freeze and lose internet connection the most with Wild Tangent and World winner games. I've started downloading the Wild Tangent and playing WorldWinner on other browsers because I can't win on Firefox, even on the games that I'm in the top skill level and I'm challenging a friend from the bottom skill level. I play like it's my first time on this crazy browser. I even have problems with Yahoo and Facebook when I go on Fire fox. Those sites don't give me trouble on any other browser. Firefox used to work OK. I don't know what happened to it.

Firefox is a free browser. It isn't the problem. You ###s are. If you didn't surf for porn you wouldn't have infected your computer with ad.porn virus, malwares, etc. Clean out your damn registry.

I'm an avid firefox user since the first release. I have had not one pop up. Pull your heads out of your ### and stop ### about something you didn't pay for. Don't like it? Uninstall. Simple.

I tried Firefox briefly and switched back to IE7. It's difficult to use, has far more pop-ups and you can't use your default email program. I'd click on a "contact" email link and absolutely nothing would happen. Customer support is virtually nonexistant. Live chat four hours a day, five days a week and no way to contact them via email.

Mozilla firefox or avant browser?

I'm once again trying Firefox. I keep reading reviews on it, on how good it is and I see all the extensions you can use with it, that you can't use with Avant Browser. Firefox is slow compared to Avant. I keep getting these reset connection errors that I never get with Avant. the 2 browsers are alot alike, they both have tabbed pages, everything generally is the same except it's slower for some reason loading pages. I guess I will once again uninstall Firefox and go back to Avant. Hopefully Avant some day will make some extensions you can use.

I have gone to settings and made Google my default browser. Nevertheless, when I begin a search on Google I am very soon switched, sometimes to Yahoo and sometimes to Bing. I really dislike this. I went back to settings and removed both from the list of browsers, and still I am switched from Google to some other browser. Please stop doing this.
