not happy
It's a rip-off service. They send just bills, not faxes. Absolutely useless. Overpriced and not customer oriented. Each time they ask for more and more money until they steal everything you have. Plus, there are also hidden and additional feel you will never be warned about.
I even opened a dispute with Paypal to refund the money that was charged for nothing, for the service I have never used.
I regret I dealt with this company
Fraud billing
I sent a fax, it did not go through but I knew I needed to pay. The site sends you to paypal before it sends the fax, so I know I paid. they tell me I didn't and I cannot find my paypal receipt. They are also including a fax from 4 years ago that did go through and, again, you have to pay before they fax. Anyway, I told them that I would pay the 4.50 (1.50 for one and 3.00 for the other). They said I knew the agreement and there is a 15$ x2 late fee ($30). I said I would not be late, I thought I paid. I pay my bills. He kept answering me in rude remarks like I am some young irresponsibie person! I was so upset. Paypal would not let me make a partial payment. I told him to send me a bill for 19.50 and I will pay it, 15 for late fee and the original amount. I felt that was fair since I could not find my receipt. He said the total bill was 36.00, what? No. I will pay you 19.50 but you need to adjust that bill in order for me to be able to pay it. He is still harassing me. I will never use that fax again, and NOW that I hear all of these complaints, I am certain I paid that bill and I am not going to pay it. Thank you everyone
Scam
I used the service. The service was not performed/or receipient did not receive. I attempted to contact PayPal which is the only service they accept and I quickly closed the clain. No charge backs or anything. I actually over paid.
I was simply inquiring with PayPal, how I could dispute and clearly PAyPal was not going to assist. I closed claim/document. Charges went through.
But just because I inquired through PayPal and to inquire how to make a request money back the owner said the same thing over and over again (as he has been for years - see the BBB site.
I was charge *****.00 for doing this?
You are not paying for a service, you the consumer are paying for checking the box of the Agreement. Is it the right of a consumer to inquire about dissafication of the service performed (or lack there of). In leui PayPal has shut down my account. No way to pay them *****.00. The fax was attempted in my local area 6 times and the fax number was not picking up the transmission signal. This is the only reason I used the service.. The document was mailed in hopes of working with another issue.
I am disabled, and family attempted to help with the fax to no avail.
Thanks... Use caution when attempting to use this site. I believe that small claims court would be used and a suponea for civil court does not make sense. And why does Matt have to use civil court as a tactic and not work with his clients?
I believe that any one using this site - DO NOT open an account. The mark up on a 1.50 charge is 500%+.
I am not sure a "cash store" does this legally.

fradulent service + &late& fees
The “One Time Fax” service is a scam. I have joined the growing list of complainants who tried to fax unsuccessfully. First, I tried to fax a document that did not go through. I paid for the fax. I then continued to get billing notices, which I responded to by saying that I had already paid and that the fax hadn't gone through anyway. The billing notices continued. Finally, in a weak moment, I paid a notice through pay pal. When I reviewed the charge, it was not for the fax fee, which was $3 or $6 (something like that) but instead was for $46. I emailed them and they said that was their "dispute fee." I continued to attempt to resolve it and they tell me they want to continue charging $40 per dispute. They then continue emailing me bills to which I reply that I am not paying and expect a refund of my "dispute fee" A series of unprofessional (and rude) emails follow and they still say I have a balance. They need to be put out of business.
This "one time fax" company needs to be shut down. The “One Time Fax” service aka onetimefax.com and “e Max Fax” dba eMaxFax.com both are absolute scams. I have joined the growing list of complainants who tried to fax unsuccessfully.
After the fax didn’t process I reinitiated the one time fax transmission. The one time fax still didn’t go through. I went to http://www.innoportexpress.com which processed my urgent fax immediately. I was subsequently billed by onetimefax.com for 2 fax transmissions.
When I contacted Matthew Bailey the apparent owner of onetimefax.com and EJOAT Enterprises, he responded very arrogantly and brashly that I shoud’ve read the terms. I responded, reminding him that good customer service ensures long term customers. He responded with a very negative email and that he ” didn’t want a customer like me”. I figured we were done. I still got another bill though.
After researching this one time fax scammer I found numerous complaints including an “F” rating by BBB.

One failed fax transmission with no further use of this fraudulent service has been followed by daily dunning emails. I will not pay for failed and unused service.
Try www.paygofax.com. Super simple.
Wow, this is nuts to read these comments on such poor service when this service should be quite easy to provide.
At any rate, I am a software developer and I own FAXOneOff.com (I built this end-to-end and have great pride in delivering exceptional service). There are no monthly fees, no registration - simply go to FAXOneOff.com's homepage, fill out a form related to your fax, upload your attachment to fax, input your billing info and done! $1.99 + $0.20 per page (rates go down if you fax more than 5 pages).
No hidden fees etc. I authorize you card, but I DO NOT bill it until I receive a SUCCESSFUL transmission notification (which I forward to you as your receipt). Please test my site: FAXOneOff.com - I welcome any feedback (there is a contact us page).
Agree. This OneTimeFax is a complete scam. I submitted my docs for faxing, but never made the prepayment which they requested from me. After three months from the day which I uploaded the docs for faxing, I get this email from OneTimeFax saying that I have an account and that they will charge me for late payments or fax cancellation fee. I couldn´t understand any of that since they had done nothing for me. I paid $6 dollars in hopes that I would get rid of them for good. I then read on their website that my fax was unsuccessful and that cycle one had started. That is when I got really suspicious and decided to read their terms and conditions - which basically say that they would try to send my fax 20 times - minimum. I immediately tried to close the account, but only to be met with a request for another $30 dollars "account closing fee" which I intend to dispute with PayPal. I paid $36 dollars for nothing. I feel as if I have been conned. They certainly had some legal advice when writing the terms and conditions - they make it intimidatingly clear that if you try to dispute anything with paypal they will reopen your account and start billing you back for the time which they spent dealing with paypal, etc.
Absolutely stay away from ONETIMEFAX.COM the individual runs it from his home. Beware the questionable "terms of service " small print that implies late charges and penalizes the user. However there is non existent customer service with automated e-mail billing (DO NOT REPLY) . You have to obey and be forced to utilize the ONETIMEFAX maze to communicate. I find the owner / representative is not only unprofessional but high conflict as well. He is beyond absurd in his business practices. 3 years later I just checked on onetimefax and found out I have been billed $15.00 a month for a 15 cent of less charge? I advised the owner / representative that I used a military e-mail and that the government had closed it for retirees and never got his e-mails for a 15 cent or less charge . When I finally did reach the man ( did not give his name ) He stated TOS and I owed him $540.00 for 15 Cents or less charge placed after the fact 3 years ago. I complained he lowered it too $300.00 etc .
I tried this service once don't know even if fax went through and paid my initial bill. The error was on ONETIMEFAX and forced on me. BEWARE lots of hidden terms and conditions not sure if they are all legal anyone can put in nonsense but legally all one sided. There is absolutely no way a customer can dispute or complain / document any incidents with this website. Now 5 years later I am getting automated e-mails from this quack company again. File your complaints with your state Attorney generals office let them deal with ONETMEFAX I am not a lawyer this is just my opinion.
STAY AWAY FROM ONETIMEFAX.COM! what a scam, i tried to paid the late fee that I never received the reminders for, then when i enter my paypal password, the success page becomes an error instead so it tricks you into re doing the procedure and now I ended up paying them twice $68 and i can't even use my credit to close the account. What a loan of s... someone should close this site.
This company is mentally harrassing me. They never acnkowledge my request. They seem to have no customer service. They are putting me ridiculous late fees. I have heard many other complaints and two complaints are registered on this website already, they being as scam.
I had the same experience. I used the service 6 months ago and didn't realize it cost anything. Most reputable online businesses will have you pay up front if there is a charge. Not charge $76 in late fees and have every email sent from you go straight to the spam box. I never saw one email, because this company is a scam. I have never been scammed this bad over fees by something that wasn't a bank.
The guy calls your phone at dinner time on Sunday night (like a tele-marketer), sounds like he is sitting in a trailer park in Texas, smoking 3 packs a day, halfway through his 2nd 6-pack. He is so unprofessional sounding, the first time I hung up, sure that it was a scam (which it was, but a semi-legal scam). He then told me that I owed him $78 for a $2 fax. I said "you want me to pay $78 for one f***ing fax." To which he replied, yes it is $78 for one f***ing fax, " like a true professional.
I read through all the terms and conditions for an hour after the phone call; after I found the hundreds of emails in my spam box. I went to the "my account" page on the website to pay the rip-off artist and found two options: pay and close account for $108, and pay bill for $78. It doesn't say anything in the "terms if service about" any charges for having an account. I didn't pay the extra $40. I just don't ever want to hear from this "company" (dude in his underwear smoking cigarettes with several broken down cars in his trailer park lawn) again.
I have been receiving threatening phone calls from this company claiming them I owed them so much money and if I didn't pay fines would accrue, and I may be subject to legal action. All for a service that I never recall using, i always use faxzero.com a very good reliable and transparent company. One timefax.com is a racket, a deceitful dishonest company, that preys on innocent people, and they claim that their terms and conditions allow them to take money from people. they claim no fees but they will charge you $40 for canceling service with them. and then they will charge you again if you dispute with them,
I have been trying to reach these guys for almost 7 months. Everytime I send email they are replying with automated contents.
Here is my story.
I had used this service three times. First time I sent the fax was sent delayed. second one the received said the page is not clear.
Third time I used the service I was not aware that the payment did not go through. After a month I got a remeinder. I logged in and tried to conact them by then they added late payment fee. I did not get any response from them. I requested to send me the address where I can send the payment. For almost 8-9 months the late payment fee was added. Till now they have never given thier number or address or they called me.
I would advice everyone not to use this service. They have lots of hidden terms and conditions. Also they will not respond till they add up lots of late payment fees. There is no way to contact these guys.. They are not in this earth
Fraud, misleading consumers, illegal Tersm of Use
BEWARE THAT MATT IS CHANGING HIS WEBSITE TO onetimefax.NET due to the numerous complaints. GREAT JOB COMPLAINERS, IT IS WORKING!
Scammers of many, charge you for $2 fax, then charge $60 to get away from them. They have been doing it for 2 years, time for class action lawsuit. They have F rating at BBB and many complaints at the Texas Attorney Generals Office. Matt Bailey [protected] has never been sued and has never successfully collected from anyone in court for these late fees. So don't give in to their "daily balance reminder" emails, that is just meant to frustrate you to pay them to make them go away. They don't have your credit card or any other info such as your SSN so don't worry, and the clauses in their Terms of Use are illegal (NOT drafted by legal counsel) as to these late fees and penalties. They will claim they are legal and try and lock you into admitting this in an email, but don't admit to it, it is merely another intimidation tactic if you don't know the law. It is clearly illegal and you will not have to pay them anything.SAVE OTHERS FROM ONETIMEFAX.COM's unlawful business practices.
