I had an appointment scheduled o 03/07/25 in the office off South Florida Avenue in Lakeland. Prior to my appointment, I received a text message asking me to confirm my appointment, which I did, and received a text message on 03/06 confirming my scheduled appointment. I showed up and spoke with Katie (who later indicated she was a supervisor) who told me I didn't have an appointment as I didn't verbally confirm my appointment. I tried to ask how I was supposed to verbally confirm to a text message and tried to show her the text message confirmation I received the previous day. She didn't want to see it and insisted they tried to call me on 03/03 (which was a Sunday) and 03/04 yet refused to look at my phone so I could show her I didn't have any calls from them. I even read the text message confirmation to her yet she insisted the appointment was cancelled and refused to acknowledge that maybe they had any responsibility. So annoying as I had to take the morning off work for this. I tried to speak with someone else but Katie stated she was the only one available. If she is the only "supervisor" (which I don't think she was) and she didn't have the customer service skills to try to listen to the concerns expressed, I truly wonder as to the overall service being provided.
