Exceptional Service and Affordable Prices at SpecSavers Mornington
I recently visited SpecSavers in Mornington and I must say, I was impressed with the level of service I received. The staff were all very friendly and efficient, from the receptionist to the Optometrist who helped me choose my new glasses. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they offer glasses starting from just $39, which includes lenses! I ended up purchasing two pairs and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The whole experience was hassle-free and enjoyable. I highly recommend SpecSavers to anyone in need of new glasses or an eye exam.
Disappointing Customer Service at SpecSavers: Choose Eyes on Rosebud Instead
I recently purchased two pairs of glasses from SpecSavers for a total of $450. However, I encountered some issues with my vision while wearing them. I decided to reach out to the SpecSavers Rosebud store to address my concerns, but unfortunately, they kept delaying my appointment until the three-month time limit was up. Needless to say, I was not pleased with their customer service.
If you're looking for a reliable optometrist, I suggest going to Eyes on Rosebud on Nepean Highway instead. They have a great selection of glasses and their staff is always willing to help you find the perfect pair. Plus, their customer service is top-notch and they truly care about their clients' vision needs. Don't waste your time and money at SpecSavers – go to Eyes on Rosebud for all your eye care needs.
Disappointing Service and Rude Staff at Specsavers Waverley Gardens
I had a really bad experience at Specsavers in Waverley Gardens shopping centre. It's supposed to be a member choice service for private health insurance providers, but the staff were really rude. I had to wait for my glasses for much longer than they said it would take, which was really frustrating. I'm still waiting now, and it's been a while. I'm really disappointed with the service I received. It's a shame that they can't do better.
Disappointing Experience at Specsavers: Poor Customer Service and Unhelpful Manager
My experience with Specsavers was not great. I made an appointment and tried to arrive on time, but unfortunately I was running a bit late. When I got there, I was told that I couldn't be seen and that I would have to reschedule. This was really frustrating, especially since I had made the effort to book an appointment in the first place.
To make matters worse, the manager was really unhelpful and didn't seem to understand the situation. They told me that even if you make an appointment, there's no guarantee that you'll actually be seen. This seems like a pretty big problem to me, and I think Specsavers needs to do a better job of training their managers and making sure they understand their job.
Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience at Specsavers. I think they need to work on their customer service and make sure that they're doing everything they can to help their customers. If you're thinking about going to Specsavers, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
Affordable Hearing Aids and Exceptional Service at Specsavers - A Pensioner's Review
Hey there, I'm an old-timer with some health issues. I've been getting my glasses from Specsavers for a while now, only paying $39.00 for them. So, I thought why not give them a try for my hearing aids too? Everywhere else they charge you for the hearing aids and the batteries, but Specsavers is different.
I was so happy when the staff member told me that Specsavers even covers the basic fee of around $47.00 per year. That's a big help for someone like me on a tight budget. I wanted to share this with other pensioners out there who might be struggling to afford hearing aids.
Overall, I've had a great experience with Specsavers. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the prices are unbeatable. I highly recommend giving them a try if you're in need of glasses or hearing aids.
Disappointing Glasses Ordering Process at SpecSavers: A Warning to Potential Customers
The optician and eye check at SpecSavers was pretty good, but then came the ordering process for my glasses. They kept asking me if I wanted this extra or that extra, or if I wanted to upgrade to a better visual range for a top dollar price. I ended up choosing the best range, but when the glasses arrived, I had limited vision. I went back to them and asked them to redo it, but they said that my eyes needed to adjust. I was not happy with this response.
The following year, I decided to go to their opposition and I was pleasantly surprised. I got perfect vision, better service, and it was cheaper too! I don't understand why SpecSavers charges double or triple the price for the same thing. It doesn't take any extra effort to mold the lenses regardless of choice, so why ask for more money?
If the glasses have blind spots at the best range, then shouldn't they be fixed or replaced? And if their opposition can do it perfectly and cheaper, then why is their name SpecSavers? It's a lie! I would recommend going elsewhere and not choosing SpecSavers.
Misleading 2 for 1 Offer at Specsavers: My Disappointing Experience
I was really interested in the 2 for 1 offer at Specsavers. So, I decided to go along and choose a frame that cost $299. The salesperson told me that I would get two frames for that price, which sounded like a great deal to me. I asked for transition lenses for one of the frames and was told that it would cost an extra $100. I was a bit hesitant, but I thought, "OK, I'll go for it."
Then, the salesperson talked me into getting an anti-reflective coating for $20. I wasn't really sure if I needed it, but I reluctantly agreed. I had to pay upfront, and the total cost came to $396.75. As a retiree, that was a lot of money for me, but I thought it was acceptable for two pairs of glasses.
However, when my glasses arrived, I was disappointed to find that only one pair had been delivered. I asked the salesperson about it, and she told me that I had only paid for one pair. I was confused because I had been told that I would get two pairs for the price of one. The salesperson got angry with me and started to abuse me for not understanding the situation.
She tried to use double talk to confuse me, but it didn't work. I felt like she was treating me unfairly, and I decided that I would never go back to Specsavers again. I will tell all of my friends and family about my experience, and I will encourage them to go to an honest and trustworthy optometrist instead.
Disappointing Experience with Specsavers: Multifocal Sunglasses Not as Advertised
I recently visited Specsavers due to a sale on lenses and was excited to get new glasses. I brought my own standard frames and chose sunglass frames from them. I had my eyes tested and paid for transition and multifocal lenses combined for my frames. For the sunglasses, I chose brown polarised and multifocal lenses combined. I must say that I have never had multifocals before, but the marketing spin shown to me on their tablets was impressive.
I chose the multifocals with the widest clear window view for the close-up vision. The premium and standard appeared too narrow for me, so I paid the extra money to ensure I had the best and widest field of view as shown in the photo I attached. However, when the sunglasses arrived, I noticed immediately that the left wasn't as clear as the right, and the close-up vision was nowhere near as wide as shown in the attached photo. It was disappointing, especially for the money I paid.
I was told that it would take 2-3 weeks to get used to them, but the next day, I called about the left lens not being as clear as the right and was booked in for a second eye test. I was told that the left lens was, in fact, better than the right and that it would take some time to get used to them.
However, I went to a different optometrist the following day and found that my prescription in writing was correct, but what was in the lenses themselves were different. A report was written by this optometrist, which I forwarded to management via email with my request to cancel this order. I called Specsavers and attempted to speak with the owner Sachin, but he would not return my calls, and requests for a cancellation and refund via email were also ignored.
This was very unprofessional behavior, and I was disappointed with the incompetence and ignorance at a high level. I have contacted Specsavers customer complaints late on Friday and will update this review as soon as this horrible experience is resolved.
