Billing
I got screwed big time. I signed up for the $10 per month plan, and ended up getting charged over $700 for three months. They told me they had to do this because I exceeded the number of pages. When I asked why they didn't cut me off at the allocated number of pages, I was told they don't have to. Yet they never offered me a better plan because they bill automatically - even several times a day - and the sales reps are never notified. They have other plans that would have met this temporary need that would have been way less than the $700, but the ### only feel good about screwing me, and not about doing the right thing. If I had known they were going to do this to me, I would have never used them in the first place. They can send to me emails about buying more of their stuff, but not about telling me to adjust my plan to fit my needs or to tell me I have gone over the limit.
company will not cancel my account and continues to bill me
I have emailed and requested the billing department to cancel my service. They replied to my email and told me that I would have to call them to get my service cancelled.
I cannot call to get it cancelled because I have lost my fax number with them and that is what they use to identify you when you call and if you do not give them your fax number, they hang up on you.
I have tried their chat option on their website, no one ever answers the chat option you are on hold there forever. They continue to bill me each month.
I need them to call me or email me so that I can get my account cancelled ASAP.
Do not ever use this service. They are crooks.

I have been a customer for two years. Now, in December of 2012, my bill went from $15 to $145. hey explain it is due to the number of times the fax has to try/retry to send. However, I train law enforcement nationwide, the fax numbers are on my list and consistent numbers. They refuse to refund any money. I was also never aware, in the two years I subscribed, that we were charged for each and every try the computor made to fax.
Canceled but they are still charging
Several years ago I signed up for several fax services as I was looking for a job and needed the service. Myfax, as well as the others were cancelled as soon as I was hired somewhere. Upon looking at debit card charges, I noticed that myfax was still charging me a monthly fee. When I called the number given on my statement, I ended up talking with a "Chris" in customer service in Otowa, Canada. I explained that I should not have been charged as I cancelled several years ago online and have not used the service since it was cancelled. He asked for a confirmation number of the cancellation which I could not furnish as I no longer have email from 2 years ago. He said that he could not refund previous charges. This company, ladies and gentlemen, is just dishonest. I should be able to get a refund for services not wanted, received, or used, but Chris stated in that in the terms and conditions that refunds are not given. My advise to everyone is, DON'T SIGN UP FOR THIS SERVICE TO BEGIN WITH BECAUSE YOU ARE BILLED INDEFINITELY even if you cancel. If you cancel, do so over the phone. If you must fax, get a card for about 15 bucks and use it instead.

Be aware that if you cancel this fax service your fax number will be recycled after three months. That means that a new company can choose your fax number and may be getting your confidential faxes.
Fraud!
BEWARE: CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY BEFORE CALLING IN OR EMAILING IN AND CANCELLING SERVICES WITH MYFAX> AVOID THEIR HUGE SCUMMY CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD WHEN YOU CANCEL THEIR SERVICES> THEY SAY THEY DONT CHARGE ### TO CANCEL BUT HELL THEY DO> READ MY STORY AND THE OTHER COMPLAINTS ON THIS PAGE> STAY AWAY FROM MY FAX!
SCAM! This is what happened to me: PLEASE READ- the other complaints did not include some of these details. Myfax PRETENDS to offer a completely free trial. They charged my credit card right after I signed up- I am talking minutes! Because you give them your credit card number during sign up it does not count as stealing to credit card companies- you cannot neccesarily get your money back if you ask your credit card company for help. NOW, I realize I gave my credit card number out online to a company that I read some good reviews off of. They DO lactually fax things. The faxes work- BUT THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY. Then it hit me, that voice in my head saying NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER ONLINE! I search this up on the internet and hundreds of complaints are there to be read. I call my credit card company up right away maybe no less then five minutes after I have signed up to cancel their services. I block out my credit card number, tell my credit card company about whats going on. They make it so my credit card number cannot be used. They let me know my card has been charged three more times with money I cannot afford to even be paying out right now. I had seriously just signed up with my fax! The credit card company tells me to phone and cancel and email as well and to keep all the proof of cancelling my subscription. So that if they try to charge again the credit card company can investigate MYFAX and report it as a fraudelent and unreliable service.
So here is the catch. I phone up the representatives at MYFAX and before saying I have signed up- I ask them are there any hidden charges or fees, do i get charged anything when i sign up- ANYTHING? Do I get charged when I use the service AT ALL? So between the first day of sign up and the last day of my month trial period do I get charged A CENT? Lady representative says NO, over and over and over to all of my questions. Then I tell her I signed up- I got charged MORE THEN ONCE - in the first five minutes of signing up. and that I would like all of my services cancelled. She then finally tells me 'there are' charges here and there to prove that my card is a real card number. WHAT THE F***. Dont even try to find with the representatives- get your priorities straight and save your information, MY FAX STEALS! I ask her to remove all of my information. Which probably wont happen at all. As well as cancel my services. And being the polite professional that I am- I am talking to her ever so politely on the phone- and then she starts talking like such a ###. She asks me for my credit card number again so she can cancel my services (well this is the point folks - all of you who have said that you get charged when you cancel services $50 bucks or whatever- where my best bet would be where she would be adding another charge on my account.
WE give out our personal info- not just our credit card information. I think I gave out my name, address, phone number. and maybe even more. Never doing this again. Please if you read this don't do this yourselves. And if MY FAX reads this THEN YOU HAVE A BAD HEART FOR STEALING MONEY FROM POOR FOLKS LIKE ME. YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD FOR BEING WITH A FRAUDELENT ORGANIZATION. NO JOKE BUT I CANT AFFORD THIS, IM STARVING BC I CANT AFFORD TO EAT. YOU ARE STEALING FROM POOR PEOPLE. GO DIE IN HELL.

This company will burn in he** for what they have done to people like us...KARMA baby...all I gotta say! Laugh now, but beware MYFAX!
Unauthorized Charges
I setup a 30-day FREE TRIAL account in July 2012. We had several issues in getting it to work in Mexico so I cancelled the account well within the 30 days. Months passed without charges. Upon review of my banking details, I noticed a $10 charge from MyFax in April 2013. I called them and they said that the account was re-opened in January 2013. This was UNAUTHORIZED but they have been charging me the monthly fee.
I called MyFax and without much discussion, they said they will "close out the account immediately". I asked for reversal of charges and the operator said that they were not authorized to do such credits and I had to call my bank. The operator seemed so accustomed to getting such calls. I had to call my bank to reverse charges. This is a SCAM. Myfax also operates under the name SMARTFAX. Both are scammers.

can.t cancel account
Couldn't cancell account. Went to web-site & called ph# there. After phone tree hell auto-voice said "To cancell yyour account, go to our web-site and use the support chat feature." Tried this for 3 days.. Their 24/7 chat support was never on-line. Finaly came here to Complaints Board. Read message reply from VP Steve Adams @ Myfax. Big surprise- the extension he gave in his post was invalid... BUT I was able to get through to a live person at this ph# and was finally able to cancell account. IF YOU WANT TO CANCELL YOUR MYFAX ACCOUNT CALL [protected] !
My Fax is a scam! They tell you the recipients "fax is down" to attempt to get you to go over the 100 pg. free limit, when you try repeatedly, they then charge you after you exceed the limit. They then charge you again when you try to cancel in 30 days by lying and saying they didn't get your cancellation request.
I am reporting them to the FCC, FTC and FBI. It's a scam and it is next to impossible to find the CEO's email...BUT, I DID find his FACEBOOK Page! here is the link, and on his page is a link to his bogus MyFAX Facebook page too!

Terms of Service
Today I tried to teminate my account with myfax.com. While the company alllows you to sign-up online, I found out that there is no way to terminate your account online.
They clam that for security reasons you have to call them or chat online. I chatted online annd the only items they asked for where my account number and the last four digits of the card being billed, both of which are avaliable to anyone who can log into your account, so there is no security reason that you need to call them.
It turns out that there terms of use say that your account is not terminated until you recieve a confirming email from them. They said I would recieve it shortly, which it did not. This is really sleazy.

As many others have said, this company charges your credit card without any notification
As many others have said, this company charges your credit card without any notification. Like others, my credit card was charged for three months after the so-called free trial. When I finally was notified about the charge, $30 and three months later, they refused a refund but said they would convert these monthly charges to a yearly plan. I reluctantly agreed. I used the service to send a few faxes, then not at all for many months. I just found out they charged me an annual renewal fee– again, after the fact, no prior notice of the impending charge. I called to cancel the service and have the charges reversed, but they claim it was in the contract (of course, you never actually see this contract) that the renewal fee would be charged in December, rather than January when the plan started, so no refund, even if I cancelled the service. They are unethical and disgusting.
I would like to contribute my experience with Myfax to help any new comers. I had been with Myfax for years, no problems; however, since they merged with J2 brand and changed their interface, it became really lousy, you lost some functions and the search for old faxes took forever. I called to cancel my account in the middle of payment cycle dates and they refused to refund my money. Therefore, do not choose to pay annually to bind yourself into them or even choose their service. There are better providers out there and I chose to go with metrofax and are happy with them. Hope this help!
Cancel
I would not recommend MyFax. I signed up for the trial. Before the 30 days were over I went online to cancel and you can only do per the chat (this is per the MyFax FAQ section). The chat was not working so I emailed both the support and sales email accounts I found on the website. I forgot to follow up and never got a response. I remembered when I was going through my credit card and found the monthly charge. So I got online and started a MyFax chat. First MyFax tried to offer me a different plan but I was in no mood. MyFax cancelled my service but didn't refund the 2 months of $10. I was told you can contact billing 24/7 but the FAQ section says nothing about the billing contact info. SO be careful - cancelling is a pain and confirm you followed through or your trial will cost you. Reason I did not keep - I through MyFax was slow. I will never recommend MyFax because of my customer experience with their chat.

CC Fraud and misrepresentation
I would like to advise you that your sales company is comitting credit card fraud, by unauthorized charges on credit cards, that are obtained during your trial period for Myfax.
We mistakenly provided you with a valid credit card r your so called trial period. We were told we could not participate in the trial period, so we signed on with a competitor,
However we were shocked to find out that MYfax is illegally taking unauthorized payments of US $10 per month, while this is not a huge amount we can only imagine how many are being victim.

A year later and they are still doing it! How do we stop this?
Same here. It's one of those fine print if you don 't call you'll get charged. Customer service refused to refund. I'm sure they are practiced at saying no because their service didn't work.
30 Day Free Trial that has turned into $30.57 in charges to my account. I haven't used the service but 3 times since January 2010 within the 30 day free trial period. When I signed up for the trial I spoke with a representative that stated that if there were no usage on the account during that particular month that there would not be any charges to the account. Not true.
I also had a payment come out from [protected] MYFAX - I haven't even signed up to anything from them!
CLEARLY FRAUD!
Shame on myfax.com and their mgmt
Billing issues! Billing Issues! Still are billing me after I used a personal credit card for a business account... I havn't worked for the company in 8 months, and they are still billing me even though my card number has changed. They will NOT refund or even prorate the amount of money they have taken from me. The manager says he does not have the authority to authorize refunds of any kind and he does not and will not let me know who his supervisor is so I can further investigate. Hussain was his name. I emailed corporate 3-4 times with an automatic response that says i need to contact customer service.. Customer service goes right to Hussain's rain of terror. Shame on myfax.com and their mgmt.
Unreliable service & rude customer service
I've been a loyal customer of MyFax.Com for about 5 years. They recently did a software/system update which changed their entire interface and service. I was patient through this process for about 6 weeks, however, by now I was hoping they would have worked through the bugs/glitches...they have not. The new system is very unreliable. It's very slow. They've removed some of the key features that made their service user friendly - they didn't change these features - they just removed them entirely. I called weekly to get an update on the data migration and was told every week to be patient that they were working through it. By this week I had had enough and called asking for some type of credit to off set the many delays/failed faxes/frustration. I was told no - it was my problem and no other customers were experiencing this. I've now switched to a new provider and am extremely happy not only with their product, but with their compassionate customer service. Even though it will cost me more time and money to change my business cards and website with a new fax number - it is worth it. I need a reliable service and I expect better customer service after being so loyal. They are a horrible company.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
You're not the only one. I have also been calling and they have basically told me they are working on it and there is nothing they can do. If only they could fix the search function so I can prove I faxed something, what's the point of having online fax if you cant access the history!? I am also looking to switch, annoying though as I have to also change all my biz cards...
free trial is a scam
Signed up for the free trial - then forgot about it. I never received a SINGLE statement from them and then when I finally noticed $11 per month had been charged to my credit card, they cancelled but wouldn't give any credit back even though it had NEVER been used. Completely unreasonable customer service said I had been emailed monthly statements - which I never got. How do you argue with them on that - i checked my spam and nothing there either. I missed it on my visabill as we have soo many transactions on there and a second myfax account that we do use. I'm very disapointed that there customer service person - Shane at local 397 (no last name would be given) was so unempowered to do the right thing. My recommendations to our staff for myfax have stopped as of today! I was given a mailing address for their HO but there is no phone number to call. That's not right either.
Unauthorized credit card charges
DO NOT USE MYFAX - Credit card fraud! This e-fax company offered a free 1-mo. tial membership, which I signed up for . I cancelled a little over 1 month later & asked if they could remove the $10 cahrge since I had made one fax during the trial membership. They did not. So ok, I called a few days late. But they have continued to charge my credit card every month since! I called customer service and spoke with Nicholas - employee #384, who was really nasty. He refused to refund the charges. I called my credit card company to dispute the charges since January who then called Myfax, who couldn't find a record of my account at all, and they claimed thaqt the onus was on me to provide proof that I cancelled, however myfax provides no proof! They didn't in January and they didn't today. I'm next filing a claim with the better business bureau. It wasn't a ton of money that was charged but it's the principle. It was my money, and they took it, they didn't provide any service for it but were still able to charge my credit card without providing any statement of any kind. Isn't this illegal?

Refund Policy
MyFax has never sent me any statement of service until I checked a rarely used credit card of my wife's. They have been charging for an account I thought I closed in September after a trial we decided not to use.
I spoke to a very rude person who was in no desire to help and calling again to a young supervisor I got the same message "sorry you feel that way - we dont give refunds" If you had cell service and did not use it you would get charged was his only response.
Yes but I would get a statement so I knew that i was getting charged. By not telling me charges were being processed they are in default and I am fighting to get a refund for the ast 5 months.
I had the exact same issue and response (I'm in BC as well). I never got a single statement and I'm guessing that it's because there was no activity on the account. I felt very ripped off and they really didn't seem to care. They told me I should have paid closer attention to my Visa bill. While that might be true - we run a business and the amount of stuff on our Visa is huge and the extra $11.20 per month was easy to miss. I used to recommend myfax a lot but not any longer!
They bill you for money you do not owe
I signed up for a free trial. However I never got confirmation that the sign-up went through, so I assumed it did not. (The browser froze and so the sign-up appeared not to work.)
I NEVER USED THE SERVICE, NOT EVEN ONCE!
Later I received a 0-30 Days Past Due notice in my email box. I immediately called them but could not get through.
That was 2 months ago. Since then I have spent over an hour holding online, talking to Billing, talking to chat but the bottom line is they all have told me I have to talk to the mysterious collections dept which they will not give me a direct line to. So ever time I call I have to go through menu hell, waiting, and then just get a mailbox to leave a message. Each time I leave my phone number, name, account number and email address and BEG them to call me. THEY NEVER CALL ME. NOT ONCE. And my answering machine is 100% reliable, I never miss any calls.
So I am sure by now this has gone to collections, is being reported on my credit bureau report, and so on, all for $10 THAT I DO NOT EVEN OWE!
And yet NO ONE will call me and I can never get through to anyone at the other end. I am angry, I am frustrated, and I will take this to every consumer agency I have to in order to get this taken care of.
No one should ever sign up with this company!

I THINK (don't remember for sure) the 886 number and extension was the one that helped me resolve my problem. Good luck!
This company is the worst! I've gone through a Kafka-esque hell for 2 months trying to resolve the bill they say I owe and all I do is spin my wheels, no one will respond to my calls! This company should be forced out of business! I RECOMMEND EVERYONE FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC AT

This company is making money using fraudulent tactics and operations. File a fraud complaint with US FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION (FTC) if they refuse to cooperate. https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
my case: I tried to open a trial account with MyFax.com, but registration did not go through for me. And... in approximately 2 months they decided to send me a bill for $14.
They take money out unscrupulously. They say once we're billed they will never return the money, even if you did not authorize them to do so. Essentially they will attempt never to cancel your subscription. Take your complaints to the FTC. . . .
Won't Let Me Port Number Even Though They Caused Major Headaches For Me
I have had a myfax account for 4 years. I am cancelling my service because none of my cover pages were populating with who the recipient was, the client info, notes, nothing. I sent 75 pages, that I became aware of, with blank covers. I had an insurance company say they never received my recert info, a disability company say they never received my info - there was no info on the form who was supposed to get all the paperwork that followed, so it was probably thrown out. They don't have time to play guess the recipient. I called Myfax and got a guy reading the same directions I had already read - which was insulting. I told him I had already done all of it. Then he suggested the user web interface. I used that - guess what - the cover never populated with what I wrote - still blank! The guy told me to re-fax all of this stuff, which was dumb - it did not solve the problem - and it would have put me well over my limit of 100 pages out per month. Just what I wanted - another bill. I went to Nextiva and tried a trial with them and this is where I re-faxed the 75+ pages of paperwork. Beautiful! So I decided to go with them - 500 pages a month, 4.95 per month! I went to port my fax number - MyFax won't release it. They claim they cannot, but could not tell me why except that it originated there. So, they can take other people's numbers but when it is their turn, they won't? I checked and the number was portable. Their "can't" means "won't." Even when I pointed out why this was good for them to port this out and make me happy, they would not do it. I am super upset, frustrated - angry. They could do this - it is not government regulation - they want to be a pain. This was the round and round I got today. I was put on hold for chat for 30 minutes, then the guy who was supposed to speak with me disappeared - I thought the connection died, and then I got another guy, who at the end gives me a number for porting. I call it - it is not the porting department - just another guy in support who won't even let me speak with porting, or do anything to remedy this. This ate up my afternoon. 2 billable hours down the toilet - that is $200. I even told the guy I would not stay if the number was not ported - I was leaving, period. This is how they try to keep customers. So, I am going to waste more time tonight, go to each and every web site for each and every insurance company, and through each and every one of my contacts to give them a new fax number, then I am cancelling MyFax. I move mountains for people - too bad they couldn't move a molehill for me. I was a customer for 4 years - that may not look like a lot to them, but it is longer than most of Liz Taylor's marriages. Try Nextiva. They are super easy to use, have a very quick and streamlined interface, and are professional and friendly. I am still sending the porting paperwork. Maybe someone from My Fax will see this and do the right thing.
goes down frequently
I used to like this product. It was convenient and reasonably priced. However, their product has been broken twice in the last month, meaning I can't send faxes. Customer support has been unresponsive. They openly admitted later that there were outages that lasted several days, and they said that all faxes in the queue had been sent and received and none were lost. They refused to believe me when I said that wasn't true, even with proof that they had lost two faxes I had sent through (I send them via email, so I know they were sent). They absolutey refused to offer a refund for broken service. to recap...service that goes down frequently, lost faxes, customer service that is unresponsive, failure to refund for services not rendered...does that sound like a company you want to do business with?

Hi,
I did not bring the number into MyFax. I did not pay anything to take it either. I told my new company - Nextiva - what was happening with MyFax. They were super helpful and 3 days later, I had my number. Yes, my port was successful and it cost me nothing. MyFax tried to assign my number to someone else twice. The first time, they claimed they did not and it was a mistake. They tried again and I raised cane about it. I got the tech department after threatening them with the FCC and they took care of it. The number is mine, is not theirs and the faxes for the other people were coming to me. As usual, they are slackers and forgot to remove it from cue.
Angry MyFax customer, I too was told by MyFax that they owned all of their numbers and that their policy prohibited porting my number out of MyFax. Was your fax number issued by MyFax or did you port it into MyFax? Also, please share whether your attempt to port out of MyFax was successfull and without added porting/transfer fees. Thanks.
I have an update! I started looking around and found out there are laws that state they cannot deny porting my number. If I am paid up to date (I am), then they must port it. There is also a FCC ruling against "Hoarding." This means they cannot keep toll free numbers to themselves. Read at this link to the FCC: http://www.fcc.gov/guides/toll-free-numbers-and-how-they-work.
(I tried to add it but I saved it in PDF and this site wants a picture.)
How did I figure this out? I told my new fax provider what was happening. I told them of the awful 2 hours spent with MyFax and how they went in circles and refused to help, and how I called Myfax to try and be polite and make things go more smoothly. I knew the paperwork was already sent - I was asking them should I just use the number they assigned to me or keep trying. They responded by telling me they did an "NASC" of my number - this is a regulatory agency and they can grab that number from the other company when the other company refuses to release it, and there is no problem with the first account. I looked this up because I did not know what it was.
It appears the number has ported; my faxes sent to that number are now coming through my new provider, and I cannot sign in to MyFax using that toll free fax number. Since I have not received the email from the new company that the port is complete, I am waiting before cancelling Myfax. Since this appears to be acrimonious on MyFax's part, I want to be 100% certain that everything is completed before cancelling the account. I do not want to give them any excuse to prevent me from keeping my business fax number that I have had for years. I do not need the headache of dealing with numerous companies with different branches and trying to get all of them to change the fax number.
This is how MyFax treats a customer that had been loyal, paid on time, the whole bit: 1. Don't send the faxes correctly with the cover page pre-populated as the client specified 2. Have all the faxes not get to the person to whom they were sent. 3. Give that client a massive headache re-sending the faxes and wondering why they were not received the first time. 4.Have client make horrible discovery of the blank cover pages. 5.Have client call, speak to a person with barely understandable English and be accused of not reading instructions, though the client had. Frustrate client further by telling them not to use email interface to send fax. Client must use slow, horrible web interface. 6. Client uses web interface - cover page still does not populate. Client takes Ibuprofen for blooming headache. 7. Client now has to spend time researching other fax companies to get the fax sent on time to the right person. 8.Client finds other provider - tries their fax and it works perfectly. 9.Client now re-sends all the faxes discovered without proper cover sheets, wasting more of their time by duplicating paperwork. Faxes are received by the people (Hooray!) 10. Client decides to go with the new company, checks to make sure the number can port, spends time filling out paperwork for the port, spends time forwarding old faxes to new fax account. 11. Since client has ported a home number to another account in the past, client calls Myfax to be friendly and smooth the transition, so there are no delays. 12. MyFax responds by having client wait 30 minutes for help, disappearing without explanation from the on-line chat when hearing the client wants to be port the number and has started the process, only to show up when client repeatedly asks if anybody is there. 13. Disappearing person reappears and quickly transfers client to another person who wastes client's time, make them dance in circles, & finally gives them to another person they claim is porting. 14. New Myfax person is not the porting department and is just another support person who refuses to transfer client to someone that can actually help and hopes the client does not look at FCC rules and regulations. 15.Client hangs up with blood shooting out of their eyes from sheer frustration. Client is dizzy from the circular and vague reasoning of MyFax and the lousy customer service.
Think about this - do you really want this sort of treatment? If you don't, then don't go with MyFax.

I went to port my fax number - MyFax won't release it. They claim they cannot, but could not tell me why except that it originated there. I checked and the number was portable. Their "can't" means "won't." Even when I pointed out why this was good for them to port this out and make me happy, they would not do it. I am super upset, frustrated - angry. They could do this - it is not government regulation - they want to be a pain. This was the round and round I got today. I was put on hold for chat for 0 minutes, then the guy who was supposed to speak with me disappeared - I thought the connection died, and then I fgot another guy, who at the end gives me a number for porting. I call it - it is not the portin department - just another guy in support who won't even let me speak with porting, or do anything to remedy this. Maybe someone from My Fax will see this and do the right thing.
lost my ported number
Feb. 16 2011 fax number stops working after 15 years and by the way right after the automatic renewal for 1 year was paid. After 20 or more calls nothing todate has been done. No one calls back and no one can say what happened I've had the number for over 15 years and it appears on all my advertizing, cards, invoices website etc. what do I do now... MyFax will no return calls the automated phone lets you wait on hold for half an hour and then disconects you. Does this company even exsist?
debited my account
In january of 2011 I signed up for a 3 month free trail for fax.com to be able to fax by e-mail. On that same day within hours of signing up my called and told don't sign up with anyone 'cuase he just bought a new fax machine and that we didn't need any service like that. So I contacted fax.com via website and cancelled my free trial that same day, and costumer rep assured that everything was cancelled and I would not be debited for this, but I changed my mind I had 30 in which to reactive my account and if I could sign up at any time all over agian. Well, today 04/26/11 I checked my bank account and was able to see where fax.com debited my account after I cancelled the sign with fax.com. I had to send several emils just to get one acknowledged, and had to call the company at [protected] several times before I could speak with a real person, only to have that person to tell me I was calling the wrong compay.
