A Cautionary Tale: Beware of NastyGal
Dear Fashionistas, I feel compelled to share my recent experience with NastyGal, a brand that promises chic styles but delivers disappointment. After reading numerous reviews, it's evident that many customers have faced issues with customer service, poor quality products, and delivery mishaps. From missing items to fake delivery confirmations, the pattern of deceit is alarming. It's disheartening to see a once-promising brand fall into the abyss of customer dissatisfaction. As you navigate the world of online fashion, tread carefully when considering NastyGal. Your style deserves better than the risks posed by this brand.
I love Nasty Gal
I love Nasty Gal. I am so addicted to their products. I always buy Jeffrey Campbell shoes from here. I have purchased summer clothes as well and now I know how the sizing goes. Im a size small and the small fits well. Sometimes it depends on the manufacturer, clothes that are size small might fit a bit loose but can be fixed with alterations. I have purchased their shoe brand Shoe Cult. I love wearing the flatforms. The platform clogs are very cute though a bit unstable when walking. I prefer saw tooth threaded soles like UNIF and YRU bec its very comfortable to walk in all day in the office. They have great deals and sales. My outfits are so trendy that my friends and co workers always ask where I shop. I love the free shipping when you buy $75 or more. Shipping time is great. I receive my order within 1 week from the time it has been shipped. Great customer service. I always receive my response through facebook within 1hr or within 24hrs. Keep up the great work!
Outstanding customer service
The customer service is outstanding. I receive ONE faulty item out of an invoice of 20 and within 24 hours Andy J had solved all of my problems and dispatched a replacement. It was only a loose button.
Every item was as I saw online. The sizes do run a little on the smaller side, but I used their measurements and ordered everything based on that. Some are size 14 while others are a 16 when I'm a size 12-14 usually.
It is most definitely the best value for money and I'll be returning just for the customer service. They respond to reviews and they have an amazing return policy for an online store. I have zero complaints
Anyone giving this a negative review based on quality... You obviously think that Kmart should be quality too yeah? For the price it is great quality in comparison to the trash I've ordered elsewhere for same price. You don't like it, go shop your Gucci and LV and respect that this is an amazing value for money store at its price point. Unbelievable how many stupid people are allowed to review

Happily surprised
Okay let me just say i put a $200+ order in before i read these horrible horrible reviews and was freaking out after thinking i wasn't going to get it and it would be bad. I was like okay i need to cancel my order and wow am i glad i did not. I ordered on 11 items for my upcoming vacation on Sunday night 6/30 and paid for 2-3 days shipping so it would get here before we left the night or 7/3. My shipping updates were saying it would be here by the end of the day on the 3rd. Well it's the 2nd and i have all 11 items in the correct sizes i ordered them in. Now when i picked the size for my items i paid great attention to their size guide and models wearing size. Everything fits perfect and we all know it's a gamble when ordering online from anywhere anyways. The quality of the items don't seem like they're gunna last a super short period of time and if they do i mean the prices were a tell tale sign. However i don't think they look cheap as some people say. I am very satisfied with my order and how fast i received them. To top it off, after pay let's me keep money in my pocket for the trip! Thanks nasty gal.
Get the Shoes
I had ordered here when it FIRST was bought out my boohoo and I remember being very stressed out since the prices on Nasty Gal had dropped significantly, which could only mean the quality had dropped too. I ordered a bikini (both top and bottom) for $12 in total. The bikini is super cute but I have VERY small breasts and I'm still falling out of the bottom of the top so all in all, I wouldn't buy clothes from here. Don't get suckered in by the fact that everything is half price. They're doing that so you think it's good quality when it's not.
BUT the reason I gave this 5 Stars is because I figured buying shoes would be easier. I'm pretty sure Boo Hoo doesn't create their own shoes so getting them from a vendor should mean they're decent quality. I was right, the shoes I got look exactly as pictured and fit amazing!
In case people were wondering, the shoes I bought were:
-Talk 'Em Around Anklet Heel (they're okay, my least favorite of the bunch but at the end of the day they are a nice red heel)
-You're In the Driving Cleat Heeled Boot
-Pretty Red Rose Floral Heel
-Having a Ball Vegan Suede Heel
In conclusion: there are a lot of places to buy cool clothes, don't do it here. I personally have a harder time finding really cool shoes so I'm really glad I took the risk on these.
***CUSTOMS CHARGES INFORMATION***
CUSTOMS CHARGES INFORMATION***
I'd just like to clear up something with customs charges because I feel like a lot of the ratings on this website are unfairly low because people are annoyed they had to pay customs on their order.
Customs are NOT controlled by nastygal! If like me you live in the UK anything you buy outside of the EU is subject to customs charges. So if you're not prepared to pay customs, don't buy! (the reason you may not get customs charges from other shops is because some companies mark your order as a gift so you don't have to pay customs, but it's illegal for them to do it!) It has been complained about in a few reviews that nastygal don't inform you of customs charges, but it is very clearly marked next to where you select your type of shipping that customs are your own responsibility.
In case you're wondering how much you're looking to pay with customs... your parcel might sneak through without you having to pay anything but it might not. In the UK when I get a parcel with customs I have to pay ?8 handling fee plus 20% of what my total order is worth (total order worth does include what you paid for shipping!) I think it varies based on which company ships your parcel but just be aware of that when you're making an order.
In terms of the rest of the buying process, I have made one order from this site - 2 dresses - and both were true to size, good quality and arrived within the specified 1-2 weeks. They arrived with customs (about ?16) which was annoying of course but that's just life! I would order more from nastygal if customs charges were free, but as it is out of their control I haven't marked down their rating at all for it.
Nasty Gal Review: Terrible Experience with Shipping and Customs Fees
Nasty Gal is not a good choice if you live outside of the UK. I made my first order with them last year and was excited to finally try out their clothes. I spent about ?200 UK pounds and chose the cheapest shipping option since I wasn't in a rush to receive my items. However, after two weeks, I still hadn't received my package and when I checked online, I found out that it had been declined and not shipped. I contacted Nasty Gal and was told that I had to pay a shipping customs charge of ?85 to receive my package. This was almost half of my order, on top of the already expensive shipping costs. I was very unhappy about this, but I declined the package and told them I wasn't going to pay such a ridiculous amount. The shipping company returned it to Nasty Gal, but I still hadn't received a refund after a month. I contacted them multiple times, but most of the people I spoke to didn't seem interested in helping me. It took me two months to finally get my refund after I threatened to take it further. It felt like they were trying to drag it out so that I would give up and stop trying to get my money back. It was a very frustrating experience and it seemed like their only goal was to make money, not to make their customers happy.
Despite this experience, I decided to give Nasty Gal another chance when I saw that they were offering free international shipping a few weeks ago. I spent just over ?150 on a jacket, top, dress, and playsuit. Their items are very expensive, but I was hoping that they would be worth it. However, I received an email from the customs office a week later saying that I had to pay ?65 in customs fees. I couldn't believe that this was happening again. I searched for reviews and found out that over 95% of Nasty Gal reviews were very negative and that most people had problems with customs charges. I also read that a lot of people were saying that their clothing was of terrible quality. I'm now in the process of declining the customs fee and telling them that I'm not going to pay it. I contacted Nasty Gal, but they didn't do much to help me. They just told me that the package would be returned to them. However, the customs office told me that if I didn't pay, the package would be destroyed.
I'm very disappointed with Nasty Gal. Instead of focusing on making their customers happy, it seems like they're only interested in making money. They should spend more money on producing better quality clothes and getting rid of those customs fees. I buy from different countries all the time and I rarely have to pay customs fees, and when I do, they're usually very low. It's not fair to charge customers almost half of the price they paid for their order. Shame on you, Nasty Gal.
Disappointing Experience with NastyGal: Delayed Shipping, Hidden Customs Charges, and Poor Customer Service
So, I decided to give NastyGal a try and ordered a bunch of clothes for my upcoming trip. I chose the UK "Express" delivery option, which supposedly takes 2-3 business days. I was a bit skeptical about the delivery time, as I didn't think it was possible to ship from the States that quickly. But, I went ahead with it anyway, and the shipping cost me a whopping ?16.95. However, I didn't mind it much, as I got a great deal on my order due to the sales.
After placing my order on a Monday afternoon, I received a confirmation email from NastyGal, stating that I would receive another email shortly to confirm my order had been shipped. But, it was already Wednesday, and I still hadn't received the shipping confirmation email. So, I tweeted at them, but got no reply. I sent another tweet, and a few hours later, they followed me and DM'ed me, asking for my order number. I sent it to them, and they replied a few hours later, saying that their customer service department would be emailing me shortly.
I received an email a few minutes later, stating that orders take a few business days to process before they ship, and my order would be shipped shortly. Now, I'm no expert when it comes to online clothes shopping, but I do know that most e-boutiques don't require days for their orders to process before shipping. I had ordered from two other e-boutiques the same day as I ordered from NastyGal, and I received my confirmation of shipping email a few hours later, and received my order the next day or the day after that.
I also assumed that the "2-3 business days" delivery meant my order would reach me within 2-3 days of me placing it. But, it says nothing on the website about the company needing a few days to process the order before shipping out. So, I was a bit disappointed with the delay, but I still had 5 or so days before I had to leave, so I waited for my shipping email.
However, my friend, who ordered from NastyGal using the standard 4-7 day shipping method the same day as I did, received an email the day I was emailed by customer service, saying that her order had been shipped. Meanwhile, I had still received NOTHING. I checked my junk mail and everything, in case it had been sent to a different folder. I replied to the email the following day, asking if my order had been shipped, but I still haven't received a reply.
To make matters worse, I got a call from my dad, who receives all of my mail, saying that a parcel had been delivered from the States, and the postman said he'd have to pay an extra ?12.45 for customs. Nothing was stated on the NastyGal website about an extra charge for customs. I assumed that if my order was to be shipped from the States, the horrendous ?16.95 delivery charge would include all charges incurred.
My dad didn't have the cash on him to pay for it, so the postman said he would reattempt to deliver the parcel on Monday, when I have to leave extremely early for my trip. UPS left no information about the parcel or the depot it would be at, so it's not as if I can go and collect it. I have also still not received a confirmation of shipping email from NastyGal, so I have no tracking number whatsoever. It's not as if I can call UPS and ask them to find out which depot it's at.
I just hope the clothes are worth it if and when I finally receive them. Regardless, I won't be ordering from NastyGal ever again. I will be making a formal complaint, and I just hope they will at least reimburse me in some shape or form, ideally by reimbursing me the ?16.95 charge for delivery!
NastyGal Review: My Honest Experience with Shipping, Quality, and Returns
I, like a lot of people, watched Girlboss and then went straight to nastygal.com and bought like crazy. I then looked at reviews and they are horrible. I then felt sick as I spent $100 and was worried that they wouldn't show up or if they did they would be garbage.
I received my package today in Canada at the earliest date that they said it would arrive. I was not charged customs, which i have been before when shopping from Adore Me. This is something I have seen a lot of complaints about but that is normal when shopping out of country.
I was super nervous when looking through my items and honestly my first reaction was to be disappointed because thats what I was preparing it for. After about an hour I went back to it and actually really enjoyed my purchases. I bought a Jumpsuit that is currently in the sale section. I was worried because it was an impulse buy and I have never tried one on before. It was amazing. Great quality, thick material and a perfect fit. It has little plastic stickies that hold it up. It is by far my new favourite article of clothing. There was a small thread bunch up on the front of the frill but i just cut it off easily. Good as new. I bought a blue off the shoulder top and it wasn't the material i was expecting. I put it on for the rest of the day and it looked much better after i realised that even though it was a cheaper material it still looked nice and fit me well. I only ended up with one item that I didn't love. It didnt look exactly like the picture but I couldn't blame the shirt for me not looking the way i want to look in a crop top.
I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars because if you spend full price on this stuff it is 100% not worth it, except the jumpsuit. Do not spend $40 on a shirt from here because it is worth about half of that. This site currently has a 50% off everything, including the already marked down sale items. This was definitely worth it. I have heard that there is usually sales so my suggestion is wait for a good one and then buy everything on your wishlist!
The main issue people have with this site in the reviews is that they have a bad return policy. This seems to ring true. I have decided to not return anything in my haul but all of the reviews are probably not wrong. Before ordering be prepared to just keep everything or pay for the return fee and a long process before getting your refund. Their website says that it takes at least 28 days after you return your order and it arrives for them to get it completed. This however is evidently laid out in their return policy on their website. The people who are mad about this should have read the return policy before purchasing.
These reviews for the most part are based from when the company went bankrupt, before boohoo took over the brandname and promotional ownership. Their deal was that they were not obligated to repay any of their old customers or fill any orders they promised before they sold out. Although they should have made more of an effort to keep the customer base happy it was not something they may have been prepared to take on. What I am getting at is that those issues are not something that seems to be happening at this point, that was a situational based issue. The bad reviews really seem to stem from this. The bad reviews about returns seem credible.
I am planning to buy again, as well as from the sister site boohoo. This is not the old NastyGal from pre-2017, I wouldn't go to this site if you were looking for some high quality unique stuff. This is for the girl who wants to stay up with the trends and not looking to spend too much money. (again only buy when ON SALE) This site doesn't deserve these bad reviews since the ownership change.
WOULD BUY AGAIN.
NastyGal's Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service: My Frustrating Experience
So, I recently had an experience with NastyGal that left me feeling pretty frustrated. I was charged 19.37 EUR in fees for my order, but according to the rules in my country, they should have only been 4.30 EUR. When I asked about it, they claimed that they had paid HMRC on my behalf to speed up the shipping process, but they couldn't provide any receipt for this payment.
I was pretty upset about this, and I decided to chat with their customer service to try to get some answers. The agent I spoke with, Linsey, was friendly enough, but I didn't feel like she was really listening to my concerns. She kept telling me that NastyGal doesn't calculate the charges for taxes and duties, and that I needed to contact my Customs office for more information.
I tried to explain to her that there was no customs sticker on my package, and that the UPS driver had told me that the sender had calculated the charges and placed the sticker on the package. But Linsey just kept repeating the same thing over and over again.
Finally, I asked her who Landmark was, since she had mentioned them a few times. She explained that Landmark was the international shipping company that NastyGal uses, and that they pay the customs fees up front to get the package delivered more quickly. But I still didn't understand why I was being charged so much more than what my country's customs rules said I should be charged.
In the end, I didn't feel like I got any real answers from NastyGal. I still don't know why I was charged so much, and I don't have any receipt or explanation for the discrepancy. I'm pretty disappointed with their customer service, and I don't think I'll be shopping with them again in the future.
NastyGal Review: Unreliable, Poor Customer Service, and Lack of Transparency
I recently made two orders with NastyGal, hoping to receive them in time for my birthday on March 14th. The website stated that the orders would arrive within 5-7 business days, as they were being shipped from the UK to Romania via a delivery company called Aramex. However, after receiving my tracking numbers, ***6850 and ***5963, I noticed that the orders were still listed as "processing" on Aramex's website.
After a week had passed since my first order, I decided to reach out to NastyGal's customer service team to inquire about the delay. They advised me to wait a bit longer, but when I followed up again, they informed me that they had processed a refund. I was disappointed, as I had not requested a refund and would have preferred for them to send the package again or ask me what I wanted to do next. I have had better experiences with other online retailers, such as ASOS, who have a more solution-oriented customer service department.
Upon further research, I discovered that NastyGal lacks transparency, with no phone number available to call and reviews disabled on Facebook. They also deny customers the right to speak with a manager or file a formal complaint. It appears that they may be on the verge of bankruptcy, which could explain the frequent discounts. However, they seem to have no interest in actually selling their products, as they take customers' money without shipping out packages and hope that they won't request a chargeback.
Despite my initial disappointment, I decided to give NastyGal another chance and placed a new order on March 7th. I immediately emailed their customer service team to confirm that they had received my order and that it would be shipped this time. They confirmed that everything was in order, so I called Aramex to confirm that the package was on its way. After several attempts, I finally spoke with a manager named Nour Erekat, who assured me that the package was en route and that I could email her at any time for updates.
However, days passed and there were no updates on Aramex's website. I continued to email both NastyGal and Nour, but they were unable or unwilling to provide me with any relevant information. They simply told me to wait and see what happens. Finally, after speaking with Nour again, I learned that they had not received my second package either.
At this point, I requested a refund from NastyGal, along with an additional 20 EUR that I had lost due to the conversion from RON to EUR. I am now convinced that this website is a scam and would not recommend it to anyone. I posted a warning on their Instagram account, but they blocked me after I managed to post it on their last three photos. It is also not possible to leave reviews on Facebook, as the option has been disabled.
In conclusion, I would advise anyone considering shopping at NastyGal to think twice. Their lack of transparency, poor customer service, and apparent financial troubles make them an unreliable choice for online shopping. I hope that my experience will help others avoid the frustration and disappointment that I have experienced.
Nasty Gal's Terrible Customer Service Experience: A Warning
I've been shopping online for over a decade now and I'm pretty familiar with the process. Recently, I stumbled upon Nasty Gal's website and was immediately drawn to their clothes. I decided to purchase a few items, but unfortunately, I had the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!
I ordered a jacket from Nasty Gal, but they mistakenly sent me the wrong size even though I had ordered correctly and even sent them a picture. I contacted their customer service and they promised to send me the correct size once they received the returned jacket. I returned it and waited for two weeks for the correct size jacket to arrive. However, instead of the correct size jacket, I received a refund response, which was an automated message.
I was furious because Nasty Gal had sent me the wrong size jacket initially (fault 1) and promised to send me the correct size, but instead, they just refunded me (fault 2). I tried to contact them again, but I didn't receive any response. I even sent them two emails to inform them of their mistake, but still no response. A few days later, the refund was officially back in my account.
You might be thinking, "Why didn't you just buy it again?" Well, the size I needed was no longer available. The company should have been responsible for their mistakes, but unfortunately, I was expected to reorder the jacket myself even though none of this should have happened in the first place. I was reluctant to do it because I had already contacted customer service, and that's what they're supposed to be there for, right? To help customers when they experience trouble?
I tried to contact them again, but still no response. So, I decided to try a different platform, Instagram.
I sent them a message explaining my incident, and their response was, "Sorry, since we have refunded your money, we can't send you a new parcel." I sent them another message explaining that this should not have happened in the first place, and it was the company's fault. They should be responsible for this mishap. The response I received was from another clothing website, Boohoo (interesting, they don't even cover up their combined customer service facilities. How is it possible that customer service is not personalized?): "You can order it again, and I can refund the delivery charges."
At this point, I had lost my patience. The jacket cost around 150e, and I didn't want to pay extra for shipping since it was already included. So, I replied with the exact explanation. Their response was that they would give me a 5? gift voucher, and it would be sent within 24 hours.
I was so disappointed at this point. It seemed like this company didn't value customer loyalty. I even tried to contact them when I received the refund notification so that they were aware of their mistake, but their customer service was not able to respond correctly to the matter and didn't provide any solution for their customer. A 5? gift voucher was their compensation for sending me the wrong size jacket and not sending me the correct one, but that seemed pretty unworthy for such terrible customer service. It was an awful experience!
I felt restless and disgusted about it. I decided not to use this website anymore, and that's such a shame because my first experience was great, but it totally ruined my trust in this website.
By the way, the Instagram message was from 21.11.2022 when they offered the 5? pity compensation by their customer service. After two days, they didn't send me the voucher, so I wrote to them again. And they gave me the same response: "We will send you the voucher within 24 hours."
As you can see, the faults are continuously spiraling down, and there's no sense of justifying anything. I should have just given up. Until today, 1.12.2022, nothing was sent, and honestly, who cares about the 5?.
I sincerely want the company to be responsible for their faults and send me the jacket I wanted, but they never take responsibility and just keep making mistakes again and again. I'm curious about what Nasty Gal's response will be to these unfortunate series of events. You folks should BEWARE!
Mixed Feelings About Nasty Gal: Discounted Prices, Disappointing Packaging, and Misleading Pictures
I recently made a purchase from Nasty Gal, and I have some mixed feelings about my experience. While I was excited to finally make a purchase after browsing their website for months, I was a bit disappointed with some aspects of my order.
Firstly, I only bought one cuff and one pair of earrings, but I was happy to see that they were both heavily discounted. The cuff was originally priced at C$60, but I only paid C$18, and the earrings were marked at C$75, but I snagged them for C$16. The shipping cost was reasonable at around C$12, but I was surprised to see a COD amount when I received my order. It wasn't a huge amount, so it wasn't a big deal in the end, but it would have been nice to know about it beforehand.
What really bothered me was the packaging. They didn't even bother to put my items in a small box - they just wrapped them in bubble wrap and foil material. It reminded me of the packaging I received when I ordered snacks from a Chinese online website. While I can understand that Taobao is more like an online flea market and the packaging is acceptable for raw snacks, I expected more from an online shopping company in the US. It felt like they were saying, "You didn't order much, so we're not going to waste our shipping box on you." As someone who ordered jewelry, I would have appreciated a proper package to ensure that my items weren't damaged during shipping.
As for the products themselves, they didn't look like they were worth nearly as much as they were originally priced. I had been observing their website for months and noticed that they tend to sell the same handbags and jewelry as other websites, but at much higher prices. They do carry some unique brands that you can't find elsewhere, but they also tend to mislead customers with their bright and flashy pictures. For example, their PU leather handbags look like real leather in the pictures, but they're not worth the price. They also don't provide a 360-degree view of the product, so you can't see the actual condition of the item.
I paid with PayPal, but they didn't accept my transaction at first. I contacted their online chat, and the first person I talked to promised to accept my transaction, but they didn't follow through. I had to talk to a second person, who was more helpful and even sent me a follow-up email.
Overall, I would recommend not buying too many items at once and not falling for their "free shipping on orders over $150" deal. It's easy to get carried away and end up buying things you don't need or want, and the free shipping deal can actually end up costing you more in the end. Also, don't trust their pictures - always search for more information and pictures online before making a purchase. Finally, prioritize quality over anything else when shopping on their website. While they do sell unique and interesting fashion items, it's important to make sure that they're worth the price and will last for more than just a few wears.
Nasty Gal Review: A Fashion Lover's Dream Come True
Nasty Gal is a one-stop-shop for all your fashion needs. From trendy clothes to stylish shoes, accessories, bathing suits, and even lingerie, this website has it all. The best part is that they also sell vintage clothing, which is perfect for those who love to mix and match old and new styles. Scrolling through Nasty Gal is like a dream come true for fashion lovers like me.
My experiences using Nasty Gal's website for my online shopping needs have always been amazing. The website is extremely organized with many different sections. With just a few clicks, I can look at shorts, tank tops, dresses, accessories, or whatever it is I'm in the market for. Their easy-to-follow categories allow me to quickly switch from their "What's New" section to their sales or even their "look books," which provide a sneak peek of their upcoming outfits.
The website is extremely user-friendly. They provide a live chat option where shoppers can instant message with someone from the website who is there to help 24/7. There is never any waiting, and they answer questions in a clear and concise way, even giving certain links to take the shopper exactly where she needs to go within the site in a matter of a few minutes. While scrolling through the different choices, passing the cursor over an item gives different views and angles of the item. The best part is, no clicking involved. The site appeals to an international clientele. It offers the website in over 10 different languages and currencies. Also, Nasty Gal provides shipping all over the world. A new outfit can be bought wherever I travel.
Their clothes are insanely cute and they have the latest trends. The style of clothing mostly appeals to the 17-25 year old range of girls. I recently bought an ivory-colored floral print top that matches all of my basic shorts, skirts, and pants. It is understandable that some may see the site as being geared towards a smaller figure because most of the clothes tend to be skimpy and revealing; however, the site provides clothing suitable for all figures. The clothes run true to size, and every time a shopper clicks on an item, they give an easy-to-follow sizing chart. Sizing typically runs from XXS-L but like all women's clothing, no two pieces fit the same, which is why they provide a great sizing chart, giving the exact measurements according to the sizes.
Along with the sizing chart, they give a full description of the model that includes her height, what size she's wearing, and the exact measurements of the item she's wearing. My favorite part of this website is the "Get the Look" option. With this resource, I can click on the item I like, and it provides a one-stop-shop for the matching bottoms, tops, accessories, and shoes to complete the outfit.
Their prices range on average from $30 - $100. Although they do offer higher-end items such as real leather jackets in the $300-$500 range, these tend to be the exception. All the apparel is reasonably priced for the quality of the product. The clothes do not tear or fade, and they last a very long time.
Their sales are phenomenal, offering more than fifty percent off sometimes. Sales only last for about three days but are offered periodically throughout the year. Sometimes they'll even have $100 dresses for only $20. With these steals, shoppers don't have to wait until they save up for the items they want.
Shipping comes free on orders of $75 or more, or it's an $8 charge for expedited shipping (1-3 business days) – a relatively low price compared to other clothing websites. Their orders always arrive on time, and they send you confirmation shipping and delivery email alerts just in case any mistakes were made. They package each clothing item in a small plastic bag and then ship it tight and organized all together to avoid order separation.
Returns are made simple and easy with a step-by-step guide included in every purchase for return items, along with a return label. There is not a shipping charge for returns unless shipping was free, in which case they deduct half the amount of the cost of shipping from the return. A way around this is to request store credit, and no money is deducted from the return. One negative is that they do not do direct exchanges if something does not fit. The shopper has to repurchase the item.
Overall, my positive experience with Nasty Gal has made me recommend it to all of my friends. Each of us receives a $10 off coupon when we share our fabulous finds with other potential customers. As you can see, this is a great clothing website. You should definitely check it out for yourself.
Nasty Gal Scam Alert: New Management Fails to Honor Orders and Deletes User Accounts Without Warning
So, I recently had an experience with Nasty Gal that I just have to share. In late February, they had a sale for 70% off that was just too good to pass up. I, like many others, jumped at the chance to snag some great deals. However, what happened next was completely unexpected. On February 28th, Nasty Gal deleted ALL user accounts and orders from their system without any warning to their loyal customers. This meant that no one could sign into their account to see their order history or status.
To make matters worse, Nasty Gal's website was updated to the point where it was completely new with different stock and different policies. The customer service also stopped offering phone support and live chat. When I sent an email on February 28th asking why I couldn't sign in, I received a reply saying they were now under new management but would continue to be the same brand. They also stated in their reply that in a maximum of 48 hours all accounts would be restored.
However, this turned out to be the first of many lies. After waiting 48 hours, I found out that no accounts had been restored yet. Their second lie was telling us to wait another 48-72 hours and that then the accounts would be restored. To this day, no accounts have been restored.
At this point, Nasty Gal started addressing the issue on their social media accounts. They made posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter stating that ALL ORDERS with an order number from before February 28th would be shipped and honored. However, they cancelled 4 out of 5 of my orders, which was their third lie! Most orders are being cancelled and not actually honored.
What's worse is that in late February, before the "takeover," Nasty Gal sent their customers emails encouraging them to buy during the 70% off sale. They actually sent emails saying "once it's gone it's gone" but that if you "checkout successfully while it's in stock it will be shipped"! It's quite obvious to me that they took too many orders before the takeover and didn't have the intention of fulfilling them all.
This feels like a scam, and based on the founder's history, I'm quite nervous that many people will lose their money. For the past week, the new Nasty Gal has been flooded with questions about missing orders and charges to credit cards. They have publicly replied to most people on social media asking them to private message their order numbers so they can help. However, once customers send their order numbers in a private message, the same generic response is offered. They tell you they still can't look into order numbers from before February 28th and to either wait or contact your bank for a refund.
Most people who paid with credit cards have already been charged for missing or cancelled orders. Collectively, most people just wanted their orders despite the delays. When I asked about the reason 4 out of 5 of my orders were cancelled, they told me it was a rare occurrence if something was out of stock. How is 4 out of 5 cancellations a rare occurrence, and how does that coincide with the statement that "ALL ORDERS WITH AN ORDER NUMBER" from before February 28th will be shipped before March 21st (now they say March 24th and I can't keep up with the lies)?
Initially, I thought it's not new management's fault for what's going on. That maybe they bought the company and were scammed by the original Nasty Gal too! I'm sure this wasn't expected when they bought the brand. My issue is that Boohoo (the new management) is turning their backs on loyal customers and telling them to contact their credit card companies or banks for help! Instead, Boohoo should be joining and supporting us in going after the original Nasty Gal brand for orders/products before washing their hands of the situation.
They should be transparent that they've been screwed over also. If they bought this company thinking it came with a loyal fanbase, the brand is already near ruined in less than a month. They're losing all the old and loyal customers who made the company what it was and scaring off any new interest. If the new Nasty Gal cares about this situation and the years of brand loyalty at stake, they can start by adding a phone number to contact.
The next step would be for BooHoo to negotiate with the old Nasty Gal to provide a solution so that every single cancelled/missing order is sent. If that requires the "old" Nasty Gal to negotiate with their manufacturers to produce our orders, Boohoo will be able to rebuild the poisonous reputation they've possibly unfairly received. If neither company cares enough, then BooHoo should at least help in compiling a list of any information that would help with a possible class-action lawsuit.
For most of us, this has been an awful situation, and my heart goes out to all of you still out of your money. Together we can form a class-action lawsuit to ensure this type of thing can't happen online. There has to be a standard and rules to follow, and clearly, Nasty Gal thinks they're above both.
Nastygal Review: Fake Reviews, Terrible Service, and Crisis Management
Don't be fooled by the 5-star reviews you see on Nastygal's website. They are all fake and posted by the company to cover up their terrible service, delivery, and crisis management. I ordered a package on December 16th, and it was supposed to arrive within 5-14 working days. However, three weeks later, my package still hadn't arrived. When I contacted Nastygal, they told me that my package was delayed and held up at customs and would arrive by January 17th. But on January 13th, they emailed me saying that my request for a full refund had been approved, even though I never requested a refund. They also said that the clothing items I ordered were out of stock, which doesn't make sense since they had already been shipped out.
When I asked for an explanation, they told me that the courier had delivered my package to the wrong address, so the items had to be returned. They refused to compensate me in any way except for a full refund, even though my items were forcibly returned. When I asked them to ship my original order back to me, they said they couldn't because the refund had already been processed. But when I tried to reorder my items, most of them were out of stock or not available in the size I wanted. It seems like they never had the items in stock in the first place and were just using fake tracking information to keep customers satisfied temporarily.
Overall, my experience with Nastygal was terrible. They lied to me about the whereabouts of my package and refused to compensate me properly. I suspect that they are running a Ponzi scheme and profiting from the ignorance and laziness of their customers. I urge you not to order from Nastygal and to double-check your credit card statement to make sure you have received the correct refund amount and currency. Don't be fooled by their fake reviews and excuses.
Nasty Gal Complaints 68
BAD SERVICE, PONZI SCHEME. DO NOT ORDER FROM NASTYGAL
DO NOT BELIEVE THE 5 STAR CUSTOMER REVIEWS THAT YOU SEE BELOW. These are all reviews that the Nastygal commitee posted to salvage the situation of their bad service, bad delivery and overall bad crisis management handling.
(TLDR: Scroll to the bottom for the concluding point that can be explained by the paragraphs below)
Ordered a parcel on the 16th of December. It was projected to arrive between 5-14 working days and was shown via tracking to have been on its way and already left the warehouse. 3 weeks later, my parcel still had not arrived. Emailed Nastygal and a member of the service staff told me that my parcel was delayed and held up at customs and would reach me by 17 January. On 13 January, I gather that they could not handle the situation anymore, they emailed me telling me that my request for a full refund had been approved. I HAD NOT REQUESTED A FULL REFUND AT ALL. They also included in the email that a refund might have been processed because the clothing items that I ordered were out of stock. The question here is how could my items have been delayed if they were already shown to have been shipped out at customs.
Wrote an email to clarify, and a member of the staff gave me the response that a full refund should suffice for the trouble caused in the episode. Pressed on further for an explanation and they told me that the courier had delivered it to the wrong address, thus the items had to be returned. They still refused to give me further compensation except for a refund (which was obviously what I was entitled to since my items had been 'returned'). I wrote another email back to tell them that I had checked with my account information and the address was accurate and there was no way that the courier had delivered it to the wrong address. This time, the staff said that she had checked and the courier had indeed delivered it to the correct address, and that the problem had occurred at "the delivery stage". It was an appalling experience with Nastygal, given the amount of offhanded excuses they gave to me regarding the whereabouts of my parcel, and even so, they still refused to give me further compensation except for the full refund which is actually not even a compensation in any way because my items were forcibly 'returned'.
In addition, I told them that I was willing to let the matter go if they would just ship my original order back to me, to the correct address but they gave me an excuse that because the refund had been processed, they would be unable to ship it to me. To me, it just sounds like a convenient way to explain away their inability to proceed with my shipment because their warehouse had run out of sizes for what I had ordered in the first place. I say this because when I tried to reorder my items, most of the items that I had originally ordered are out of stock or they do not have it in the size that I wanted anymore. This should most likely not be the case, especially since my items had been returned to the warehouse. In any case, I will be checking my credit card statement to make sure that I have gotten a refund for both the delivery charges and the full price of the items. In addition, future customers should take note that the website refunds you the exact value of the items that you ordered and does not make use of your overlooking of the difference in currency between pounds (?) and dollars ($) to make a slight profit for themselves at your expense.
To sum up my experience, Nastygal is FULL OF LIES, possibly being a Ponzi Scheme of 2019. My guess is that:
The items that I had ordered had never left the warehouse in the first place because they did not have stock for the items. The tracking shown on the parcel is fake and used to temporarily satisfy customers. Upon realising that our parcels are delayed, we are given another temporary gratification in knowing that our delivery charges have been waived and that the parcel is on the way. However, close to the due date, a refund is off handedly 'forced' upon us, making us wonder what went wrong. After that, stupid excuses such as the parcel being sent to the wrong address are given to us, with the company pushing away all blame onto the courier and the fact that they have given us a full refund, to eradicate themselves of all blame. A few questions remain. Did my items actually really get shipped out of the warehouse? Also, more importantly, IS THE COMPANY PROFITTING FROM THE IGNORANCE/LAZINESS OF US CUSTOMERS? It was only upon greater reflection that I realised that I should double check my credit card statement to make sure that I had not only gotten back a refund with the right amount, but also in the right currency. In conclusion, do not order from Nastygal.

Nasty Gal's Decline in Service: A Disappointing Experience
I've been shopping at Nasty Gal for a while now, since around 2011 or 2012, and I used to be a huge fan. However, I've noticed that their service has been getting worse and worse over time. It's really frustrating, because I used to love shopping there and now I'm not sure if I can trust them anymore.
One of the things that really bothers me is that they used to offer free shipping for orders over $50, but now it's $75. That might not seem like a big deal, but it's just one of those annoying things that makes it harder to justify buying something. And their return and exchange policy has changed too - it used to be really easy to get a refund on your card, no questions asked. Now, if you want free shipping on your exchange, you have to settle for store credit instead. It's just not as convenient as it used to be.
But the thing that really pushed me over the edge was when I received a defective dress in the mail. The stitching was uneven and it was clearly not up to their usual standards. When I contacted them about it, they told me that I could return it with shipping waived, but only if I bought it at full price first. That's ridiculous! It's like they're trying to trick me into spending more money. And when I asked them to exchange it for a different size, they told me to take a picture of the defect and send it to them so they could check the other dresses in the same style. That's not my job! I shouldn't have to do extra work just to get a refund.
It's really disappointing to see how much Nasty Gal has changed over the years. I used to be a loyal customer, but now I only shop there when there's a sale. And even then, I always check to see if I can find the same item cheaper somewhere else. It's just not worth it to pay their inflated prices when their service is so unreliable.
Buyer Beware: Nasty Gal's International Shipping & Customs Fees are a Nightmare
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Nasty Gal. I was so excited to take advantage of their Memorial Day sale and snag a pair of boots that I had my eye on for a while. They were 40% off, which was a steal! But little did I know, I was in for a rude awakening when it came to shipping and customs fees.
Now, I live in The Netherlands, so I knew I had to check if I would have to pay any extra fees upon import. I did my research and found out that VAT in my country is 21% and customs is another 12%. So, I calculated that if I had to pay these fees on my original order amount of $340, it would come out to around $115. Not ideal, but I was willing to pay it for these boots.
But then, I received an email from a company called Landmark Global saying that I owed them a total of $195 for taxes and COD. What?! That's almost the same amount as my original order! I was freaking out, so I contacted Nasty Gal's customer service. They were polite, but not exactly helpful. They said my order had already shipped, so it couldn't be cancelled, but I could send it back once I received it and they would refund my money.
I explained that I couldn't send it back because I would have to pay the custom charges first, and I wasn't willing to do that. I said I would refuse the charges and the package would be returned to Nasty Gal immediately. They said that was fine and to contact them once I refused the package and they would refund my money immediately.
Now, I haven't received the package yet, so I'm hoping everything goes smoothly. But regardless, I want to warn others about buying internationally from Nasty Gal. I don't know if it's a scam or not, but there's $80 that's unaccounted for and that's not okay.
UPDATE: I finally received my package today and to my surprise, the taxes and duties I had to pay were much lower than what Landmark Global had told me. It came out to $114, just as I had predicted. So, it seems like Landmark Global is a complete scam.
Also, after writing this review, I realized that I had actually ordered from Nasty Gal a year before and had to pay some import taxes, but not as much as this time and not to Landmark Global. It seems like Nasty Gal's policy and service has changed for the worse in the last year. So, be careful if you're thinking about ordering from them internationally.

NastyGal Review: Overpriced Dress Scandal - Same Dress Sold for $15 at Forever 21
I'm so annoyed right now that I'm posting this review on all public websites. I recently bought a dress from NastyGal and wore it to my cousin's graduation. I should have known something was up when I saw the poor quality of the dress for the price I paid. But I didn't send it back because I didn't want to deal with their customer service reps or their return process. I just couldn't be bothered. It's probably what they want to achieve by not including a preprinted return label in the package. But let's move on.
At the family function, my cousin came up to me and told me she had the same dress and how it was a "steal for the price" and how she loves Forever 21. I was confused. I told her it couldn't be the same dress because I paid almost $60 for it from NastyGal. My cousin laughed out loud and explained to me that it was the same dress and she only paid $15 for hers. I still didn't believe it, so I went to her house the next day to compare the dresses. To my surprise, they were exactly the same, but with different tags. I was so angry that I threw the dress in the trash. The same dress NastyGal sold me for $58, Forever 21 was offering it for $16.99. That's really nasty!
A few days later, I went on their website and found the dress. Then I did a search on Forever 21's site and found the dress there too. I also found it on Lulus, but they had it for $40+. I took screenshots because I felt everyone should be aware of this. As you can see from the screenshots below, they are all the same dress.

I will never buy anything from NastyGal or Lulus again. It's one thing to be ripped off, but it's another thing to be so blatant about it. Stay away from them. I've sent them a notification of this review, and I'm curious to see how they respond.
NastyGal Review: Terrible Customer Service and Quality Control
I've been shopping at NastyGal for a good 4 years now and I must say, their customer service has never been great. But lately, it seems like they don't care about their customers at all. It's not just me, I've read other reviews and it seems like their quality control is at an all-time low. I recently ordered a pair of Jeffrey Campbell beige leather booties and when I received them, it was clear that they had been worn before. There was a huge stain on the front of the shoe and noticeable scuffs all over. It looked like someone had spilled something on the shoe and a girl in shipping decided to clean it with some chemical and thought it was "good enough" to send to a customer as new.
I tried to contact their customer service through live chat, but it was a complete waste of time. They redirected me to their email service without giving me any information. I received an email from Jennifer D, but there was no apology for their mistake. She just issued me a return label so I could return the item and get a refund. But what about other options? What about offering me store credit or sending me a new one in the same size? Nothing.
Now, I have to take my time to print the label, pack the items, drive to UPS to ship the item back because of NastyGal's mistake for sending a defective item. Then, I have to wait for my refund, which took 15+ business days last time. And from reading previous reviews, I'm considered "lucky" to have even gotten it back.
To make matters worse, Jennifer D sounded like a robot during our conversation through email. She had the same opening welcome line and ending line. I had to ask questions repeatedly for her to answer since she wouldn't answer them the first and second time.
I do like their clothes, they're cool and trendy, but it seems like their customer service representatives don't think that having helpful and considerate customer service is "cool" or "trendy." It's a shame because it's not hard to apologize for a mistake.
In conclusion, I do NOT recommend buying from NastyGal. You may not have an issue with them now, but sooner or later, you will if you continue to shop there. The items are not worth the stress and dealing with their terrible customer service. Sending the shoes back will mean they will try to rip off some other customer by sending it to them trying to pass it as "new."
Nasty Gal Review: Poor Quality Clothing, Inaccurate Size Charts, and Frustrating Customer Service
I recently ordered from Nasty Gal and unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. If you're considering ordering from this website, there are a few things you should know. Firstly, there's a chance that you might receive the wrong item(s). If this happens, the only solution offered is for you to send back the incorrect item and then re-order the item you originally wanted. The company will give you free shipping on the correct item, but it's still a hassle to have to go through this process.
Secondly, if you need to contact customer service, be prepared to wait on hold for a long time. It can take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes to speak to a representative, who may or may not be able to help you. You can also try emailing the company, but there's a chance you won't receive a response.
If you do manage to get in touch with a customer service representative, they may not be able to do much to help you. They're not empowered to offer any solutions other than free shipping on the correct item, and they can only re-send the item once you've re-ordered it and sent back the wrong item. This can be frustrating, especially if you've already paid a high price for poor quality clothing.
Speaking of poor quality, that's another issue with Nasty Gal. The clothes are often of low quality, and the size charts can be inaccurate. This is likely because the company sources items from different distributors, but it's still disappointing to receive clothing that doesn't meet your expectations.
Overall, I wanted to support Nasty Gal because it's a woman-forward business, but my experience was disheartening. Other women's clothiers I've ordered from have made mistakes in the past, but they've always worked to fix the problem and make things right for the customer. Nasty Gal doesn't seem to care about fixing mistakes or supporting their customers. If you're looking for a hassle-free shopping experience with high-quality clothing, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
Unexpected Taxes Charged by Government on NastyGal Purchase - Frustrating Experience
I recently had an experience with NastyGal that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had ordered an item and paid for shipping, but when the package arrived, the UPS delivery person informed me that I had to pay an additional 30 pounds sterling for taxes charged by my government. I was not aware of this additional charge when I made my purchase, and I felt misled.
When I contacted NastyGal's customer service, I spoke with an advisor named Jennifer. She explained to me that the tax was not charged by NastyGal, but by my government. She also pointed out that there was a customs notification in the checkout process and on the International Shipping Page that stated that all applicable customs fees, taxes, and duties were the responsibility of the customer.
While I understand that NastyGal does not have control over government taxes, I still feel that they could have done a better job of making this information clear to customers. As a consumer, I expect to pay the final amount that is advertised on a website, and I don't want to be surprised by unexpected charges when my package arrives.
Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with NastyGal. While Jennifer was polite and helpful, I feel that the company could do a better job of communicating with their customers about potential additional charges. I hope that they will take steps to improve their communication in the future so that other customers don't have the same frustrating experience that I did.
Nasty Gal Review: Terrible Customer Service and Sizing Issues
So, I recently made an order on NastyGal.com and let me tell you, it was a complete disaster. I ordered five items, but one of them didn't go through even though the website confirmed it. Being the shopaholic that I am, I panicked and ordered the same item again, which went through. Now, I was worried that I had accidentally bought two pairs of sunglasses worth $45 USD (which is a lot for us Canadians with the terrible exchange rate). I contacted customer service through online chat and was told that the glasses were out of stock and I would receive an "out of stock notification email". I waited and waited, but nothing came. I contacted them again and was told to wait longer. The next day, I contacted them again and was told that it was too late to cancel my order. Excuse me? I didn't save all my chat transcripts, so I couldn't prove myself, but I stuck to my guns and told the rep that I had been scammed. They said Nasty Gal doesn't scam, but from my experience and the reviews I've read, they most certainly do. After talking to a rep for the fourth time, I finally got my shipping refunded, but they were only going to put $7.75 CAD on it. I corrected them and got what I deserved.
My package arrived on July 27, 2015, but it's now August 10, 2015, and it's still at the post office. I know I should have gone in and refused it, but I didn't have the time. I recommend refusing it as soon as possible so you don't delay your refunds like I did.
I also found that their stuff fits small. I'm a size 0 in jeans, XS in tops, and an XS skirt JUST fit me. If you're not a small person, beware. I prefer shopping at ModCloth.com because they have realistic sizes.
In conclusion, I don't recommend shopping at Nasty Gal. If there's something you really want, go for it, but be prepared to deal with difficult customer service to get what you deserve as a customer (who I thought was always right?).
Update: On September 4, 2015, I contacted customer service again and am finally getting my money back. We'll see if they reimburse me in CAD like they should. They tried to only give me the USD amount in CAD for my duty, which was not okay.
Nastygal Review: Poor Customer Service and Inaccurate Advertising
I recently made a purchase from Nastygal and unfortunately, it was not a great experience. I had some issues with the sizing and color of the items I received and when I reached out to customer service, I was met with some difficulties.
Firstly, when I emailed them about the issues, they requested pictures. However, when I tried to send the pictures back to the same agent, I received an autoreply saying that the inbox was full. This meant that I had to message them again on Facebook, which was a bit of a hassle.
The sizing of one pair of pants I bought in Large was completely off. It was so small that it barely fit my sister who is a small/medium in size. According to the size guide, the Large should have been between a size 40-42 in European sizing, but it was nowhere near that. It was completely wrong and not just a little bit off.
The color of another pair of pants I bought was also not what I was expecting. The pictures on the website showed them as completely grey, but in reality, they were green. The color name was sage, but I didn't think much of it since I was going off the picture. However, the color was completely different and not just a slight difference.
When I contacted customer service on Facebook and asked if there was any other solution besides returning the items, they couldn't help me. I sent them pictures of both items and a detailed description of what went wrong, but they just quoted their terms and conditions that "pictures and sizes could vary from item to item, and might not match the picture or sizing completely". I tried to explain that the issues were not just a little bit off, but they didn't seem to understand. They didn't offer any compensation or solution besides returning the items, which would have cost me more than the refund.
Overall, my experience with Nastygal's customer service was not great. They didn't seem to understand the issues I had with the items and didn't offer any solutions besides returning them. It was frustrating to have to pay for the return myself, especially when their advertising was not accurate. If you're considering purchasing from Nastygal, be aware that you may have to fix any issues yourself and returning the items may not be the best solution.
Nasty Gal Review: Sizing Inconsistent, Shipping Not Free, Quality Hit or Miss
So, I recently ordered from Nasty Gal and I have to say, it was my first and last time. I didn't have high expectations as I knew it's fast fashion, but my friend ordered from them for years and had no complaints so I thought I'd give them a try. I ordered 11 items and only kept 2 of them. Let me tell you why.
First of all, the sizing is very off and not consistent at all to the sizing chart they provide. Of the 6 pairs of shorts I ordered, I only kept 2 pairs. For the rest, I ran into problems like the waist being incredibly big, boxy fits, or just too large for the labeled sizes. I normally wear a US 4/Small, but even that didn't help me with their sizing. Both tops had a really awkward fit that if you bent over, the top would slip off immediately exposing your chest. The material was bad, felt like a cheap bathing suit and wasn't breathable at all. The canvas belt was itchy and didn't feel like canvas. Most of the bottoms were so badly sewn with threads hanging out everywhere. The Nasty Gal tag on the clothes are also itchy and ugly.
Secondly, they say they're based in San Francisco (California) so I was under the impression that the warehouse is somewhere in California. Instead, after I confirmed my order and paid for shipping, I find out the courier is DHL which is used for foreign mail so the items are coming from somewhere out of USA. I found out it's from the UK. Shipping isn't free. It's $10. I accepted that and paid for it, but for my $200 order, I never anticipated to shop at a brand that doesn't have a free shipping incentive. Not very inspiring for new shoppers but I tolerated it.
Thirdly, return shipping isn't free. They don't mention anywhere on their help section that return shipping costs money or how much it actually costs. Shockingly, mine was only $4 but it seems other buyers were charged much more. You'd think that especially know during a pandemic, that they'd be a bit friendlier about their policies but they're not. At least with H&M, I could buy online and return to store if I don't like anything. Unfortunately, Nasty Gal has no real store so returns are processed online and apparently not in USA either. Luckily for me, my return was processed within days of shipping out, so I got a refund very quickly.
Fourthly, the quality of items are hit or miss, mostly miss. Most of the items seem to match the price range for fast fashion so I'm not surprised. I took a risk to purchase and I accepted that. They mark up prices then put up a 60% off sale as if you're getting an awesome deal but you're not.
If you're in the USA, there's plenty of other retailers that are around that have real stores you can return your items to. I had better experiences on SHEIN and Romwe and that's saying a lot. Also, I put this review on another website and Nasty Gal reported it within the hour. It's no wonder there were only fake positive reviews there. Beware! Despite giving them two positive notes for me keeping 2 decent products and complimenting the fast refund timeframe, they still reported me so that shows they're hiding behind fake reviews. I have even less incentive to ever buy from them if that's how they do business. Stay away! FYI: I attached my order confirmation to show I actually bought from here.
Disappointed with NastyGal's Lack of Customer Service for Damaged Dress
I recently had an experience with NastyGal that left me feeling disappointed. I received a dress in the mail that had a clear black stain on the back. I was really looking forward to wearing this dress for a special occasion, so I sent a polite email to customer service asking if they could overnight me a new dress and I would send the damaged one back. However, the response I received was not what I was hoping for. They told me to ship the dress back by going to a UPS store and purchase another one online. This was frustrating because I had already purchased the dress I wanted and they sent me something damaged. They were not offering any convenience for me, the customer.
This was my first time ordering from NastyGal, and I was disappointed with the lack of customer service. It will be hard for me to order from them again. However, I must say that the email correspondence I had with them was professional and courteous. They apologized for the inconvenience and offered to issue me a UPS prepaid return label to return the Aphrodite Crepe Maxi Dress. They also refunded my original shipping fee of $5.00.
I was disappointed to learn that they were not able to replace the item and that I would have to reorder the dress. They also do not offer overnight shipping for Saturday deliveries. This was frustrating because I was going out of town and needed the dress for a special occasion.
Overall, my experience with NastyGal was not great. While their email correspondence was professional and courteous, their lack of customer service left me feeling disappointed. I appreciate that they offered to issue me a UPS prepaid return label and refunded my original shipping fee, but it would have been nice if they had offered to overnight me a new dress or provided some other form of convenience for the inconvenience they caused me. I hope that they will improve their customer service in the future so that other customers do not have the same experience that I did.
Customer service
I called about a damaged item and the customer service representative closed the chat and refused to let me speak to a manager. This is my first time ever ordering on the nasty gal website and I have experienced awful customer service. My order number is GUS107732612. I sent an email ,messaged on Facebook and even tried to chat with a live agent with no luck. Now I have an event to go to with no shoes. I would like more then 20percent of my purchase for the inconvenience and the damage.
Desired outcome: I want a discount for my horrible purchase which is completely damaged and not sellable

Clothing delivery
Hello, I have received an order from you where 3 items are missing and 1 item that has been included was something I didn't order.
I have tried to deal with you customer service agents and although they initially offered to replace/refund the items missing, once I confirmed which were missing they have now changed their mind.
The order number was GUK106037296 and the missing items are:
- AGG10030-105-16
- AGG06869-440-24
- AGG01743-152-12
And the other item delivered was some linen highwaisted trousers (nothing like and of the items ordered).
Please advise on escalation next steps and the details of the external body I can contact if we are not able to resolve internally.
Many thanks,
Jessica

Customer service and delivery
Hi,
Just yesterday, I put an order in with Nasty Gal (GUK105214193) at 11.13PM and realised the order was going to be sent to my old address. I got in touch with customer services straight away (within minutes of ordering) and they said nothing could be done and I would have to collect the parcel.
This old address is an hour and a half drive away (the other side of the country) and we're also suffering the COVID pandemic meaning travel is limited to essential only.
I stated if I couldn't amend the order I'd like it cancelled. Under the consumer contract regulations I have the right to cancel an order within 14 days. They said this couldn't be done either.
As they have responsibility for the package until it gets sent out to me. They would now intentionally be sending this package to the wrong address. If the order doesn't get amended and this happens. I want the amount I payed to be returned.
Thanks,
Emma
Desired outcome: Change of address or full refund
Return!
I've been trying to get a refund after returning an order over 7 months ago. I've contacted them weekly and they are of no help even through Instagram! They have no real customer service just a bunch of people leading you to the next. What a disaster of a company. It's sad to see how bad this company has gotten. I don't even know how they still have a website, I guess because they steal people's money and keep the products. Wow.
Shipping/untrackable package
I placed an order from Nasty Gal on December 12. The order was meant to be Christmas gifts for my daughter. The package was expected to arrive by December 23. After it was dispatched the delivery date was changed to January 8, that date came and went and the tracking changed to Pending. The package was scanned on December 22nd and no further info has been updated since then. I contacted Customer Service and was advised to wait until January 14 and was also told that they would investigate with the courier. That date also came and went with no changes to the status of the package. I contacted Customer Service again and was offered to have the order sent again but two of the items were now out of stock. This experience has been extremely frustrating and I feel like Customer Service fell short. I am a single mom to a teen girl and all she wanted were cool clothes for Christmas. I was unable to get her replacement gifts due to my limited funds and I printed out the order so she knew what to expect. I don't understand how a package cannot be tracked. I was told by FedEx that the company ships via SmartPost which engages both FedEx and regular USPS and neither of them can track anything. I would have liked for Customer Service to have taken me more seriously and offered a more empathic resolution besides waiting for a month and getting a partial refund and the other items sent again. It's very unfair that the items that are currently out of stock were her favorites and I ordered them on time.
Desired outcome: Store credit
Next day delivery
I ordered clothes for next day delivery it's been three days now and there still hasn't been any scans in fastway, is my package missing? I needed the dress for work today I am very disappointed after paying for next day delivery.
When I go to track the order with the link to fastway there are no scans which means they have not received the package yet. I have read numerous reviews about people's orders going missing. I was told yesterday it was dispatched but fast way have not received it I'm wondering is it missing?
