ira cd
Following Navy Federal's no-contact policies, I made an appointment for January 23, 2025 with the St. Roberts, MO branch to re-issue an IRA CD. Arriving for the appointment on time, we waited an additional 15 minutes before we met with a representative. After waiting an additional half hour, we were informed that the person who does IRA's was not there that day, and that we could not be helped. Feeling rather discouraged, we went to another local credit union to transfer the $60K IRA CD from Navy Federal into a new IRA account, which they were more than happy to do. At that point in time they formally requested the funds to be issued from NF. Several weeks later we were contacted by our new credit union saying they had not received a check yet from NF. After many attempts to speak with NF representatives via the phone, we were informed that they were extremely busy and it was tax season that was causing the delay. Finally, on March 7, 2025 our new credit union received the check from NF. That was 6 weeks from the original request date. This is totally unacceptable and should not be tolerated by any customer. NF's inefficiency and lack of concern cost us hundreds of dollars in interest as interest rates changed, plus the loss of 6 weeks of no interest. We consider this very unprofessional and request this matter be reviewed so it doesn't happen again. Your no-contact policies and forbidding your representatives from giving their last names proves that you don't want to be held accountable. This is not the way customer service is supposed to work. If you don't care, don't contact us, or send us some boiler-plate policy form letter. If you are concerned and want more detail, please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience.
Frustrated and disgusted,
James Kowske

Stole my money
Navy federal did not return my money after closing my account. I applied for a credit card. I never received the card. I received a bill. I called them and disputed the charges, They only removed some of the items. In which I do not know why they did not remove them all and sent a new card with charges on it.. I told them I no longer wanted a card. They told me that they are not goingbto remove the fraud charges. I have argued with these people and I have never even recieved a card from them. I want my money and I do not want any card from this bank. I also report some activity that I feel but my safety at risk when a teller yelled out my cash withdrawl during a transaction. I feel this bank is retailiating for reporting this incident.
Claimed loss: 297.00
Desired outcome: I want my money and the card amount disputed

My experience with Navy Federal Credit Union during the tumultuous times of the COVID-19 pandemic has been nothing short of a nightmare. In May 2023, I requested a one-month deferral due to the ongoing challenges posed by the pandemic, only to have my trust shattered and my financial stability compromised. Despite their assurances of rectifying the...

Account no. [protected]-27 OF Carlton Erwin Sherrod
I am Anu-Samawaati Eil®©TM, a White, Indigenous Autochthon with a lineage from the Ani Yun Wiya [Cherokee] tribe & Descendant of the Ancient Egiptian Order. I am the Secured Party of Record under UCC § 9511 & Creditor-In-Fact in Commerce. The UCC 1 Financing Statement Number 15-[protected] filed for the record in THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA reinforced by Commercial Security Agreement #[protected] makes me holder-in-due-course in all matters concerning Cestui Que Vie, CARLTON ERWIN SHERROD©TM. Cestui Que Vie, CARLTON ERWIN SHERROD©TM has a commercial status of White & American Indian or Alaska Native as the word black has no standing at law in commerce and the phrase african american is a STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA corporation registered with the USTPO under the category of meats and processed food. I, Anu-Samawaati Eil®©TM utilize the trade name CARLTON ERWIN SHERROD©TM in commerce based on the law of necessity as the NAME & the SSN vests within me in accord with my Statutory Declaration on file at the STATE CAPITOL, Office of Governor Gavin Newsom, SEE: https://www.calameo.com/books/0048875571485041c2d05 . On February 13th, 2020 Navy Federal Credit Union received REGISTERED MAIL #RB [protected] US from me requesting the general ledger and bookkeeping entries of NFCU account number [protected]-27 for an alleged auto loan granted to Cestui Que Vie, CARLTON ERWIN SHERROD©TM. The purpose of this mailing was for Navy Federal to verify and validate that Navy Federal was the original provider of the capital upon which the alleged loan was granted. Navy Federal refused to provide verification of my request of the general ledger of the account nor the bookkeeping entries.
Because of this, no signature was provided by Cestui Que Vie, CARLTON ERWIN SHERROD©TM for the alleged loan to finalize the transaction which would have created an equally binding & equitable contract between the parties. From January 15th 2020, three weeks had gone by after I traveled off the lot of Echo Park Automotive with the automobile under VIN #JTHBA1D26H5039857. Echo Park Automotive did not indorse the check tendered for payment so the transaction had not been completed. The 72 hours to accept or reject a contract in commerce had expired and I put a commercial lien on the automobile under UCC 3 Financing Statement Amendment Number 20-[protected] claiming it as property of the Secured Party on January 28th 2020. Navy Federal was given notice of the commercial lien I placed on the automobile via REGISTERED MAIL #RB [protected] US which Navy Federal received on February 13th 2020. This mailing also included my UCC 1 on Cestui Que Vie, CARLTON ERWIN SHERROD©TM as well as my Commercial Security Agreement. Regarding my Perfected Security Interest in Cestui Que Vie, CARLTON ERWIN SHERROD©TM it is notated in Commercial Security Agreement #[protected]; “Before any of the above or below following property can be exchanged, sold, tendered or in any manner disposed of, there must be compensation to the Secured Party”. Navy Federal had sent three emails to carlton.[protected]@gmail.com stating that “loan documents were ready” and a signature was needed for the loan that was in dispute. One of the 3 emails was sent on the date of February 4th 2020, which was the same day that Navy Federal reported the disputed loan on FICO that did not have a final signature from Cestui Que Vie, CARLTON ERWIN SHERROD©TM.
In accord with UCC § 3-603(b) on March 12th 2020, Navy Federal received from me FedEx® TRK #[protected] whereby, I tendered full payment for their alleged loan & they refused tender. Therefore, the matter was discharged. As stated in the above Uniform Commercial Code; “if tender of payment of an obligation to pay an instrument is made to a person entitled to enforce the instrument and the tender is refused, there is discharge, to the extent of the amount of the tender, of the obligation of an indorser or accommodation party having right of recourse with respect to the obligation to which the tender relates.” Yet, Navy Federal still maintained their frivolous reporting of an alleged, disputed loan that never received a final signature to FICO, damaging the credit report of Cestui Que Vie, CARLTON ERWIN SHERROD©TM violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Within FedEx® TRK #[protected] received by Navy Federal on March 12th 2020 was a NOTICE OF DEMAND OF RETURN OF PROMISSORY NOTE & COMMERCIAL TRUTH AFFIDAVIT OF FACTS which Navy Federal never answered, thereby, agreeing that everything in the affidavit was true as silence in commerce is tacit consent and agreement.
On February 27th, 2020, Navy Federal, under false pretense & fraudulent misrepresentation, applied to the CA DMV for the title of the automobile under VIN #JTHBA1D26H5039857, even though they had knowledge that the property was owned by me via the commercial lien I had placed on the automobile on January 28th 2020. The CA DMV granted them the title, aiding and abetting Navy Federal in illegally stealing my interest in the automobile. I had sent a correspondence to Navy Federal & they stayed silent, never responding to my demand for them to release their ill-gotten title. These two fraudulent offenses resulted in my placing a commercial lien for damages on Navy Federal Credit Union. In addition to the commercial lien that I placed on the automobile, I performed a federal export declaration on it out of the US Corporation placing it under the jurisdiction of the At-sik-hata Nation of Yamassee Moors®©TM which is an Indigenous Peoples Organization, Civil Society Organization, & Non-Governmental Organization recognized by the United Nations under IPO #2718. Our nation performs Submissions & Universal Periodic Reviews on the United States, Canada, Mexico, & Tobago Trinidad. Our Submissions and UPR’s are published on the United Nations website as well.
On April 24, 2022, my automobile was confiscated in a matter between myself and Orange County Sheriff’s Department and AC TOWING, INC. in San Clemente Ca. Navy Federal committed Tortious Interference in the matter by way of Fraudulent Misrepresentation, contacting the towing company as lienholder, under a false pretense and had illegally sold my automobile for a profit which has resulted in my automobile being sold at least 3 more times. This resulted in a second lien filed against Navy Federal.
A complaint was filed with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on April 17th, 2023. Navy Federal disingenuously replied to the complaint on June 7th, 2023 stating that they didn’t recognize me on the account when they had prior knowledge back in 2020, 2021, 2022 & the present year that I am the Authorized Representative of Cestui Que Vie, CARLTON ERWIN SHERROD©TM. I produced a counter-claim to their response and had it processed served to them on the date of July 14th 2023. To this date, Navy Federal has remained silent and has refused to communicate with me.
The following chronologically produced information verifies and validates the insidious fraud committed against Cestui Que Vie, CARLTON ERWIN SHERROD©TM by Navy Federal & the STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES. Incompetent employees
My husband has belonged to NFCU for over 40 years. I am his spouse for 59 years and we have a joint account. I have had several experience in 2023 having problems with errors they have made. I still don't know if they have corrected their screw up when I sent them a check in the amount of $180,000. to open a money market account for my husband. Did they do that no they
put it my money market account. It took days and many hours and I still don't know if it was corrected. Now tonight when I attempted to find out on the telephone what was the amount he should receive for his military pension.
I couldn't get it to find out. I did find out several days ago but didn't record and at that time there was no problem. Tonight they asked for my telephone password. I have that number read it and I was told there was no record for it. Finally, I said, AGENT PLEASE, and someone did answer. It was a long time ago since I ever was asked for it or used it. The woman to whom I spoke told me she couldn't give it to me and I understand why. We have over one million dollars in our joint account and I am not happy. Perhaps it is best to find another bank and warn all our military friends about USAA. Janice White

Business Accounts
for months, I have been pushed around I run a multimillion dollar business and dependent on navy federal, they don't let me talk to the escalation team, they hang up the phones on me after hours of wait on the phone, going to the branch does little to nothing, no one cares, they closed my accounts after a check was fraudulently cashed for $1900 and now, all my 8 accounts are closed or frozen, i don't have access and they keep telling to speak to the fraud, security, business department but at the end. Navy federal ends up disconnecting the call and not taking care of their customers, if this is happening to me, I can guarantee there are over 100 customer probably dealing with the same issue. I have no access to my accounts and online platforms, nor access to my business and personal accounts, this is just unacceptable and goes against the interest of any customer. Don't do business with Navy Federal, they don't have your best interest.
Claimed loss: thousands of dollars.
Desired outcome: get me access to my information and my company / personal funds.

I had some money deposited into my checking account and I transferred $500 into my savings so that I could participate in their NRewards Secured credit card that they recommended for me to do I was approved however once I finished with the transfers and deposits the froze my account not giving me access to none of my funds remind you I’ve been a member for 90 days and never had an issue with them until I had a large amount of money directly deposited into my account then all of a sudden they want to freeze my account and requesting ID and documents to verify my address I send them front and back of Oregon drivers license and utility bills rental insurance and auto insurance which is what they have asked for so I call them today was placed on hold for 1 hr and 30 min and finally talked to someone in the security department and I then was told I need to go to their website and fill out a form so that they can release my social security number which is going to hold my access to my money even longer so I told them I have no issue doing this however they need to release the funds that I have in my account because the funds was given to me for relocation due to DV and I was suppose to had paid the security deposit and the move in cost which I could not do because I had no access to my funds so now my chance to escape out of this deadly situation has ended because the abuser returns home tonight and I have not been able to access the funds to the new landlord so they gave me an additional 48 hrs to pay but I’m not going to be able to because they told me in order to get my funds in my account they would have to send me a cashiers check and that would be for the money that’s in my checking only but I need all of it including the $500 that I put in savings for my secured credit card since I can’t use the card until they decide to lift the freeze which I don’t have no understanding on any of this freeze of my accounts but I’m now still on hold because I told them I want every dime of my money and that’s the bottom line and they can do all the research about me they want but don’t hold onto my money while you want to conduct your investigation because if they had any doubts about anything they should had conducted their investigation before I had money deposited into their account so now I’m back on hold which totals a time of 2 hrs and 15 min so far and no telling when they come back in the phone so I’m pretty much done with Navy federal credit union because I don’t appreciate the fact that their actions had put my life in danger because I was giving the funds to remove myself from this abusive and toxic situation and all of the steps I had to take to do this was just ruined because of their actions to freeze my account so now it going to be a dangerous situation to even try to move out with my property because the abuser isn’t going to allow me to leave without a fight so now my life is still in danger and explained this to them and it did not make any difference so I can’t do business with anyone that Doesn’t care if I lose my life or not
Claimed loss: $1000 plus my chance to remove myself from a violent relationship
Desired outcome: Release my funds
I am a Domestic Violence victim and I was given a DV Grant to remove myself out of this Dangerous situation I’m in. My plan was to move out while he’s out of town because if I try to move while he’s here would be a tragedy so this is my chance to escape but I can’t because Navy federal credit union froze my account which I explained to them my situation and I also provided what they are asking for which is a government issued ID and a document to prove my address. I was told it’s going to take 5 business days to review my documents when I’m in the process of moving into a safe place. The only thing I can think of as to why they froze my account is because I updated my new address and I also applied for there NRewards secured credit card after I received a recommendation from Navy Federal credit union to apply. And this is the outcome they lock my emergency relocation funds up. I life is at stake here and they don’t care. I am lost for words and if something happens to me because of their actions I told my family to go after Navy Federal Credit Union and hold them responsible because they have no valid reason to freeze my account and why did they wait until money deposited in it to ask for all this verification if they had any doubt about anything they could have asked me provide what ever they needed but instead they wait until my funding comes into the account and I even got the secured credit rewards card today but can’t even use it . And to make things even worse they didn’t even tell me my account was restricted 🚫 I had found out when I went to purchase moving boxes because my card kept declining. So that goes to show how they treat their customers like how you going to freeze my account and not tell me. My Case manager and myself had this escape plan for over a month and Navy Federal Just Prevented Me from getting out of this deadly situation
Call center creates a vacuum.
On the phone on hold for over 3 hours. Who manages the call center. Help! you are drowning. Very poor service. THe rep told me they always have more people call in the evening . If you know this why is there not a solution. I have been a member for 45 years. It was never like this before. Service used to be excellent. Went from a 10 to a 2. Not sure I know what else to say. I tried to log off and it said my complaint was not long enough. I hope our Navy has not adopted the same efficiency standards as you guys. If so we are in big trouble. Reveille Reveile people. Wake up and answer the phone. I hope you guys havnt gone woke. OMG you guys must have a member of congress running this joint.
Desired outcome: Answer the dang phone
NFCU Robert C. Daniel Pkwy, Augusta, GA
Today [protected] around 10am I entered NFCU after I was advised to return with specific documents to maintenance an account. I was introduced to an bank associate Kim and was given very poor customer service and professionalism. Kim accused me of having a "good" fake driver's license. When she asked me about a former addressed I could not remember the...
Read full review of Navy Federal Credit Union [NFCU]Unauthorized ach debit
On August 11, 2023, I caught a duplicate amount ACH for two different companies on the same day, August 11, 2023. One was legitimate and the other was not authorized by a company that I have had nothing to do with for about a year. I immediately contacted Navy Federal by email and phone to report this. Was told what to do, which was contact the company involved and given a case number, and they would do their end. This was after I was connected with at least 3 other reps who were not in the right department to help.
On the 14th and 15th, I recontacted Navy Federal to further discuss this matter. I was again told on the 14th it would be taken care of within ten days. On the fifteen, I spoke with someone who actually at least had a "Written Statement of Unauthorized Debit" completed and processed and would have to wait 10 days. I was also told that he saw nothing had been done referring to the case number.
Called one day early and had to call back. The next day, I was told that it would be refunded the next day. Fat chance. My trust in Navy Federal Credit Union has been diminished. Navy Federal or their bill pay service, Fiserv, is now in question whether it can be trusted.
We were passed around to anyone who said whatever they could to get us off the phone with no intention to help. It was one lie after another. Where is the person at the bank supposed to be on the customer's side against Fraud. Navy Federal Credit Union says to report fraud to their 888# or online right away. But when you call this number, this is a waste of your time unless you like being insulted again and again.
Desired outcome: We would like to have the money that was taken without authorization and returned back to our account as soon as possible.
Credit card
Filed a dispute on credit card and they did no investigation nor provide any information or feedback for 30 plus days. When I complained they closed the claim and decreased my credit score 37 points in retaliation. Vendor kept my $296 and I never received the merchandise. Very suspicious behavior and unprofessional conduct. Dispute closed 8/23/23 by email from NFCU without any adequate information or any evidence they did anything on my behalf to resolve the dispute. Underlying transaction to vendor was processed 7/15/23 . Requested a refund by telephone on 7/20/23 and by email the next morning since vendor was not cooperative. Filed dispute with NFCU within a day or so. Credit Union is supposed to act as a fiduciary with customer money and perform due diligence. They provided no evidence credit union did anything. Simple fairness requires that merchant cannot unjustly enrich themselves by keeping both the merchandise and money. Thank you for your help resolving this.
Desired outcome: refund of $296 and apology for dismissive behavior for a customer since 1982. A reasonable accommodation was requested for nfcu to help me process the claim as I am disabled in both hearing and vision loss..
I reported unauthorized charges on my credit cards. I repeatedly asked for statements to view. This was back in April of 2024. They claimed, that they were sent. When some statements arrived, they were debit card statements. As of today, July 26, 2024. I have yet to see. On July 24, 2024, I spoke with a supervisor by the name of "Thomas" Thomas says they were mailed. They again were "debit card" statements. My advice, get a lawyer as I have done. My family members have closed their accounts as well do to NFCU actions. There are several lawsuits against Navy Federal Credit Union. Goggle it.
Usery account changes
The worst Federal Credit Union that likes to screw "VETRANS" example I have over $ 113, 000.00 in various accounts. I asked for some checks for my checking account and received them, so one day I wrote a check to Wells Fargo from the batch I received and as it turned out it was not my checking account the local office printed money marked checks and they...
Read full review of Navy Federal Credit Union [NFCU]Fraud claim
At 1446 on 20 July 2023, I received what appeared to be a fraud alert from Navy FederalCredit Union (NFCU). I have attached the screenshot of the text message I received. The textwas fraud alert asking if I had attempted to transfer $100, $500, and $200 through Zelle andto reply "yes" if I authorized the charge and "no" if I did not. I replied "no" as I don't utilizeZelle and did not authorize those transactions. I received a reply that a representative wouldbe giving me a call shortly. I looked up the phone number for NFCU fraud department [protected]). I started to call the NFCU fraud department at 1450 but a customer hadwalked in where I worked. I assisted the customer at my work and started to call them againwhen I noticed that I was receiving a phone call from them (see attached call log). I receivedthe phone call from a African American gentleman who introduced himself as a NFCU representative from the fraud department. Note that they called me from the NFCU phonenumber (call log attached). The gentleman asked to speak with me and I stated that he wastalking to me. He stated that there were some unusual transaction on my account and gladthat he was able to catch those from me. He told me that he needed to send me averification code and for me to read it off to him. I received the NFCU verification code viamy yahoo e-mail address and read it off to him. He told me that he was going to place meon a brief hold while he looks at my account to see what was compromised. I was placed onhold with the waiting music. We became disconnected around 1504. I was getting ready tocall the fraud department back but the representative from NFCU called me right back at1505. He apologized for getting disconnected and stated he was still looking into myaccount. He asked me if I would like to remove the Zelle capability from my bank account. Ireplied that I did because I do not utilize Zelle and that is what compromised my account. He said he would gladly do that for me and sent me another verification code and I read itoff to him. He then placed me on a brief hold while he takes care of that. He then came backoff hold and told me that he had to reset my account because it was compromised and sentme another verification code. We became disconnected at 1518. The NFCU representativecalled me back at 1519 and I read off the verification that I received and he placed me onhold again. He came back off hold and told me that he was still working on resetting myaccount and placed me on hold again. We became disconnected at 1529. I started to callback the NFCU fraud department at 1530 and I noticed that the fraud department wascalling me back at 1531 so I switched over to answer the phone call. He apologized for thedisconnect again and told me that he was finishing resetting my account. He placed me onhold again and then came back on the line. We became disconnected again at 1553. Iwaited about 5 minutes to see if they would call me back. I called the NFCU phone numberat 1557 and that is when I found out that I had never spoke with a NFCU representative. Itwas a scammer that had that taken over my account, took out a $8,500 loan, set up (3)member-to-member transfers, had the loan deposited into my checking account, andtransferred all of the loan money and what was in my checking account. NFCU froze meaccount and marked the loan as fraud and told me to call back the next day to start thefraud claims because the transactions need to post. I called NFCU the following day onFriday 21 July 2023 at 0701 CST. The lady who answered the phone stated that I need to talkto the security department and they didn't get in until 0900 EST. I called NFCU back at0802CST to speak with the Security department at NFCU. A male representative from theSecurity department answered and started inferring that I should have known better andnoticed that this was a scam. I felt really embarrassed by his comments and felt that it wasn'tnormal for a bank to be victim shaming. I also felt that if NFCU Security was better I wouldn'tbe in this position. Someone was able to take out a $8,500 loan without showingidentification or providing any signatures (this is what I learned from the fraud departmentlady the night before on 20 July 2023 when I talked with her from [protected]. He walked methrough how to install the latest security update on my apple i-phone. He also told me thatthe scammer had my full SSN and date of birth so I would need to take identity theft actions. He sent me an e-message with how to move forward with precautions with identity theft(report to FTC, freeze/lock credit with all (3) credit bureaus, initial fraud alert with all (3)credit bureaus, etc. He then transferred me to the NFCU fraud department. The fraud department closed my savings and checking that the scammer stole all my money from andopened a new account. They told me that I could submit an affidavit for the fraudulent loanand either mail it in or turn it into a local branch and they can scan and upload it. They toldme to call back the next day as the transactions from the transfer of money out of mychecking and savings had not posted yet. I inquired if the the transactions show postedbecause I was able to login with new credentials to my new account and saw that thetransfer transactions have posted. They placed me a hold to talk to my manager and statedthat I would just have to call back tomorrow. I inquired if the transactions haven't postedwhy can't they just stop the transactions and they told me that they can't do that becausethe funds have already left the account and the system just needs to catch up. I inquiredabout provisional funding as I read that it may be possible to get provisional funding on theaffidavit. They stated they cannot give me provisional funding but gave me a $50 credit tomy new account to help out. I was on the phone for 1 hour and 46 minutes with NFCU. On21 July 2023 I turned in the affidavit for the loan into the NFCU Gurnee, IL branch and thelady scanned and uploaded the affidavit into their system and printed me a new debit cardfor my new checking account. Also, on 21 July 2023 I made a FTC report and was given atask checklist to work on for identity theft. On 21 July 2023, I froze/locked all credit from all(3) credit bureaus and did an initial fraud alert for all (3) credit bureaus that will be good for1 year. On the following day, 22 July 2023 I called NFCU at 1048 CST and started the fraudclaim for my checking and savings account. The lady I spoke with told me that shesubmitted the fraud claim and that it would take 6 months to complete and investigationand once the investigation was complete then I would receive a response on the claim. On25 July 2023, I submitted the FTC dispute letters to NFCU via their e-message portal. I sentone FTC dispute letter for the fraudulent loan and one FTC dispute letter along with the FTCNotice to Furnishers for both submissions. I called NFCU at 1131 on 25 July 2023 to get anupdate on the fraud claims for the fraudulent loan and the fraud claim for thechecking/saving accounts. The NFCU female representative stated that the claims havebeen submitted and it will take 6 months to go through the investigation and the claimcompleted. Once the claim is completed in 6 months I will received a letter with the finding.I inquired if I had additional evidence that I could provide such as the text message from thescammer, police report, etc. how I would be able to get that over to them so that I can assistwith the claim to go through. She instructed me to utilize the e-message system but it willstill take 6 months. She also stated that within the next month I will need to start makingpayments on the fraudulent loan. I inquired why I had to pay for a loan that I didn't take outthat was already marked as fraud. She replied that if I didn't make the payments on thefraudulent loan during this time they will report me to the credit bureaus and my credit willbe ruined. She did state that if the claim comes back after it is completed they will pay meback everything I paid towards the loan. I asked her if it will truly take 6 months to completethe claims and investigation and she said yes. I asked if they are federally insured (FDIC) whyI had to take the loss as a victim of fraud and not the bank take the loss. The femalerepresentative said that I have to be able to prove my innocence before I can receive anymoney back and that they cannot gurantee that I receive all of my money back that I lost.Today, 26 July 2023. I submitted additional evidence (the text message that was a scamposed as a NFCU fraud alert that contained the phone number of the scammer) for the claim and called NFCU to receive an update at 0958CST. I inquired if I could receive anupdate on my fraud claims and the gentlemen stated that they are getting worked. Iinquired how do I know they are actually working on my claim as I have been workingtirelessly to provide all evidence I can for them and work through identity theft and trying tofigure out what to do financially as all my money has been stolen from me. The gentlemenon the phone stated that if I sent the message its getting worked and I told him that thiswasn't good enough and I needed an answer. I have (3) kids and I have bills to pay andmouths to feed and I have no money because that person stole everything. They told methat the fraud claims are a process and I just have to wait. I inquired if there was anythingelse I can do and they told me to just wait but they would mark my fraud claims as urgent sothat maybe I will get it rectified before 6 months. After the phone call with NFCU I called thephone number that I received the scam text from off of my government cell phone and thesame African American male answered the phone. I had my government phone on muteand didn't interact because I don't want to ruin the investigation. Today I am filing thisreport, contacting the FBI fraud hotline, my security manager for my Command (9th MarineCorps District) is reaching out to the NCIS fraud department, going to my local policedepartment to complete my police report and start researching for a lawyer. I have openeda separate bank account because I no longer trust NFCU with anymore money. I have beenvictim shamed, told to wait 6 months, they denied provisional funding, and told me I have toprove my innocence when I'm already a victim. To be treated by my bank in this manner hasbeen extremely stressful and has caused a lot of trauma to my family. I don't know how weare supposed to survive with no money until pay day (in 2 weeks), but I know that NFCU isn'twilling to work with me.
Desired outcome: Get rid of the fraudulent $8,500 loan and don't force me to make payments on the fraudulent loan and threaten to ruin my credit if i don't pay on the fraudulent loan and restore my $2,200 that was stolen from me.

Their credit union employees don't give out their last names anymore, including the branch manager. That's because of high turnover. They don't train their employees to respond accurately to questions. The service quality has gone down. The call center agents are the same as branch employees, miscommunication, siloed within their department, and not crossed...
Read full review of Navy Federal Credit Union [NFCU]Please forgive me
I am a Naval and USMC veteran and I served during and after Vietnam I am contacting NFCU about a rather unfortunate episode concerning the time I worked for NFCU It turns out that I spoke a few words out of context and I have apologized profusely about that but I am more than happy to do that again I am addressing Ms. McDuffie to plead for forgiveness and ask to be placed back into the welcoming arms of the NFCU It was not a comment that it should last this long and it does not accurately demonstrate my love for my country and the Navy-the greatest Navy this world has ever seen and I am eager to be placed back in it and the Naval service
Desired outcome: and restore me to the warmth and pride I have enjoyed both in military service and in the civilian world
Auto loan
I’ve been a member with Navy Federal Credit Union for 25 years. I bank and have an auto loan with them. I’ve had my loan for 2 years (since June 2021) and after all this time they send me an email today (May 16, 2023) which is the day before my birthday telling me they don’t have the title to my car. They told me to call the dealership and DMV. Both told me NFCU is the lien holder and would need to request a copy from the DMV. NFCU is now trying to charge me an additional 18% on my APR when I wasn’t properly informed about the issue, not that I’m able to do anything to fix it since the title is under the name of my bank. I had to speak to 2 different NFCU agents and the first was not helpful whatsoever. The second told me I still have to pay the increased rate even though it was the bank that didn’t do their job properly. I don’t recommend getting an auto loan with them if this is the level of treatment you’ll receive.
Accounts/closed
I dont know where to start. I called MONTHS ago to settle this account as far as setting up arrangements for the account to be paid, but was told no I couldn'tbecause at the time I did not have funds coming into the account. The agent did not ask me what type of arrangements I was inquiring about setting in place, how much I was wanting to pay towards the closed account or anything. They only saw at that time I didn'thave anything coming into the account. Then today they hit me with a big whammy and took my paycheck that was meant to pay me and my kids rent before end of day today. Now I started back working small hours back in April of this year and they did not bother those funds but today im assuming they thought of lets take her larger check we dont care if she have kids and about to get put out. We just want our money not even attempting to reach out and see if I still was willing to settle the account now that she has funds coming in. I spoke with an agent and he told me before transferring me that they could reverse the funds and set me up on arrangements but then got to the charge off accounts department and the agent stated the funds was not being reversed, he even stated that he saw where I called in months ago he said â6 months ago to resolve this issue. The agent had no remorse or empathy towards my situation. He made sure to state the previous agent should not have told me that because he don’t work in charge offs so he don’t know. Also making me aware of the amount remaining on the charge off. Regardless all agents represent Navy Federal that I have spoken too. I will be submitting complaints higher up and also with the BBB. I am disappointed and distraught over how this was handled
Fraud - navy federal credit union account
I filed a fraud claim with navy federal credit union (I am using lowercase because your "bot" doesn't allow words in upper case? whatever) because someone from a foreign country had pulled money from my saving account. Get this, they denied it because "There is a chance you might have gone to that country and taken out 600 dollars".
Mind you this was done 8 times in 8 weeks and they say I could have flown from the US to this foreign country 8 times just to take out 600 dollars each time.
I was in the US, and have proof, I was in the united statess (again, not in caps because of your bot) when this fraud occurred.
I have been a credit union member since 1990 and never filed any kind of a claim and now, when I really need to, they deny it?
Desired outcome: I want my money, plus interest on the total from the first date of fraudulent activity
