I have tried numerous times to open a Netflix account.
FYI, virtually EVERYTHING I do is online, I have 1 credit card and 1 debit card and with those 2 cards I buy virtually all my goods and services online plus all my monthly bills are paid for using those cards. My bank has clarified there is no problem with either card. This is a Netflix problem not a bank problem. The response is ALWAYS the same, I fill in my card details to complete my registration and my card is rejected.
I have spoken to two assistants on the phone also had 2 long messsge conversations with online assistants. None of them help, they say they will send me an email with a link but when I follow the link, same thing happens, the card details are rejected. They say wait 24 hours and I do that, same thing happens, card details are rejected. They say phone my bank and when I do the bank says they are not stopping payment, it is a Netflix problem.
To make the problem worse, Netflix does not have an email address for complaints, it does not have a postal address for complaints and it does not have a servicece where I can pay over the phone using my card details. I really want a Netflix account but, Netflix are making this completely impossible.
Desired outcome: My 'desired outcome' is simple. Please, Netflix sort this out and allow me to pay for Netflix service
You probably don't have international payments enabled on your card, set them to worldwide and try again. Otherwise you can buy a Netflix gift card from the shop and redeem the balance during registration. You can find the shops that sell them on netflix.com/gift-cards.
