I understand mature audiences use the f word. But these original series Netflix is making uses the f word so often it is unnatural in conversation. It adds nothing to the entertainment of the show. It restricts watching to when children are not around. And it seems to me when a normal conversation would use hell or damn, Netflix uses the f word unnecessarily. Like they are saying look we don't have the same restrictions other shows have so we are only using the f word as often as we can throw it in there. Focus on content, not foul language.
I couldn't agree more with the comment above regarding excessive f-bombs. There's just no reason, and I don't believe it is what people want. I've learned to do without FB. I guess I can learn to do without Netflix.
It is SO unnecessary to the storylines and as the first poster stated, it's like they have to put that word in every other sentence. In all my years in the business world, I have never heard people use that language so profusely. How do we get this complaint to the right people at Netflix?
There's hardly anything we can watch anymore because of unnecessary use of the F word. Even foreign shows where voices are dubbed in are full of it. The subtitles will say hell or damn and the voice dub will say the F word. Come on Netflix you can do better than that.
Absolutely agree...no F bombs would be great. This is not normal society but Netflix wants to portray it that way. Adds nothing to the impact of the storyline. In fact it detracts. In "From", for instance, the mother is trying to have a heart to heart with her teenage daughter and calmly says "f- ing this" and "f-ing that" in her soothing, consoling voice. Great motherly example. NOT! Not normal so why ?
