Extremely disappointed with nitrado’s customer service
I’ve been a loyal customer of Nitrado for nearly two years, spending over $2,000 monthly to host a large gaming community. Recently, my servers were abruptly terminated without proper explanation or evidence of any violations. Despite reaching out to their support team multiple times, I received vague responses and no opportunity to appeal or rectify the situation.
This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable, especially considering the significant financial investment and the trust I placed in their services. Their actions have not only disrupted my community but have caused financial and reputational harm.
As a paying customer, I expected fair treatment, clear communication, and an opportunity to resolve any concerns. Unfortunately, Nitrado’s handling of this matter has been far from professional.
I urge anyone considering their services to proceed with caution. While their platform may work well initially, their customer support and issue resolution process leave much to be desired.
I sincerely hope Nitrado re-evaluates how they handle such situations and improves their approach to loyal customers.
Horrible Customer Service and Server
I was paying for a monthly subscription for Ark Survival Ascended. The server was regularly difficult to manage, and had some of the worst UI interface mechanics I have EVER experienced. The server experience was enough to make my friends dislike the entire Ark game, and only 2 people even tried to stick with the server.
On top of that, I attempted to cancel the automatic extension of my server, and several hours after I had cancelled, I got charged for the server anyway. They are refusing to give me a refund, stating that their Terms of Service do not allow for refunds of automatics extensions. Even if the Automatic Extension was cancelled, they will not refund a false charge. I have spent the last 5 days arguing with their customer service who refuses to give me a refund, so now I'm now going through my credit card company to dispute the charge because they are so horrible with their customer service.
Recommendation: Don't EVER purchase a server from Nitrado.

-They have to opt for getting a monopoly on servers in certain games cause they damn well know barely anyone who isn't clinically insane wants to touch their servers when they have a choice. So like a scummy tyrants they're taking the choice away from people.
Bunch of incompetent scummy jackoffs. Got monopoly on ARK servers and can't keep official ones up for longer than 30mins. I'll never host any gameserver with them ever again. Even GPORTAL is less of a pain to deal with and it's cheaper. If anyone is looking for a server hosting I'd suggest to go with ANY competitor. I refuse to believe that anyone, including random company ran from a basement by a student with only one server avialable would be less competent than Nitrado.
Recommendation: You'd be better off asking a 1st year IT student to host a server for you than trusting Nitrado.

When it comes to online gaming and server hosting, there are a plethora of options available in the market. However, based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Nitrado (nitrado.net) to any gamers out there.

The overall experience with Nitrado was terrible, and I wouldn’t recommend their service to anyone. However, I would strongly advise potential customers to do their research thoroughly and find a better service that offers better compatibility and performance. This way, you won't end up getting frustrated and upset - like I did! Invest in a service that meets all your requirements and provides you with a smooth, enjoyable gaming experience.

It has been extremely frustrating to engage with this company. They seem to be struggling with providing a functional service and adequate customer support. However, when I tried to place the order again, the option for a 4-slot server was grayed out, and a pop-up appeared, saying that I needed to charge my account first. A little confused, I asked my friend to donate 3 CAD while I deposited an additional 5 CAD, bringing the total to 8 CAD.
After charging my account, I tried to place the order again, only to find that the minimum slot option was now 8 slots, and the price had increased to 14 CAD. Dissatisfied with this unexpected twist, I immediately contacted Nitrado's customer support to request a refund. In response, they apologized for the misunderstanding on their website and promised to escalate the issue to the right department. They asked for my patience and understanding while they sorted it out and promised to refund my money. But to my frustration, a week passed, and there was no response or refund from them.

They are thieves, I cancelled my server months ago only to find that they were still charging me, they have no service at all, worst company ever they are blocked on my bank account for 5 years and I will never do anything with this company ever again. Do yourself a favor and find a good company with customer service that cares about running good products.
Nitrado has left a mark on you, more so because there was quite a huge investment made. Take screenshots and print out everything including emails, payments, and the absence of the termination proof, and pursue it further with their higher management or legal team. If they do not have the intention of resolving this, you may explore the option of going legal against them for breach of contract and damages. At the same time, shift your community to a more responsible hosting company which appreciates fidelity and is open when communicating. Don’t let them control your victory.
