I bought car for my son from the website www.nitrotek.co.uk. So it arrived in damaged box and of course it never worked. I haven’t received phone number of the company, and they provided only email address. I sent them multiples emails, but these scammers never replied. I’m so upset with such services that I want to warn other people not to deal with this horrible company. Share this info and post comments.

I absolutely agree. The customer service is shocking!
I bought a RC car for my kids at Christmas which almost caught on fire. The dispute went on for 2-3 months and then we had to pay for return postage and they repaired it. It since stopped working and we are still trying to get a resolution.
Disgusting Service!
Keep away from them!

bought a rc helicopter from them which did not work.their customer service(ha ha) is done by email only. gave up trying to get a refund in the end and thats how they are still trading.

purchased remote control car from nitro tek same as maxmara all done by email never get back to you now 14 days return expired tried to return goods the site is as clear as mud its just a mail order shop they didnt wont to know the car has no control and was told it would be sorted by email they just waited for 14 days to now its to late crap service wish i had read reviews I am reading now first

These negative comments are a load of rubbish, Nitrotek are by far the best supplier of rc products. If you have an issue I think you need to look a little closer to home, clearly your just inexperienced and have no idea. They sell products that are sold by many other sellers however they are not as greedy and reduce the rrp so you can buy them cheaper. They are not an rc school to teach you people how to use your model so I suggest you watch some video's and get a clue. Their service is amazing and they do provide support and do respond quickly, I think it's pretty clear that these reviewers don't know what they are doing, the website is very clear so if you can't understand the very clear info on it I think that says it all really and these people are clearly the kind of people you should ignore.
The sole issue is that they sell at such low prices that any idiot can now get into the hobby and some people should really stick to lego.

John Hayward do you work for Nitrotek? or are just one of the fake names for the multiple fake reviews nitrotek post on most of the review sites pretending to be a happy satisfied customer? bought a heli from this cowboy outfit last year, it failed to work from the start contact nitrotek same day and was advised by mr customer service that its was my fault and i cannot return it, the phone then went dead and i was cut off. called again and was cut off again, tried a third time and finally got through to someone different and was told they cannot help me i need to contact support. contacted support via their ticket system (Which proves they sell cheap, goods as most companys have a support telephone number to deal with issues as they are too scared to deal with unhappy customers head on) it took me 8 weeks and 50 odd emails to get a return form !, once i return the heli and after another 4 weeks i was told i would have to pay £70 to get parts replaced, even though it hadnt worked out of the box ! and i advised them this from day one ! only way i got my money back is from a chargeback from paypal. i did read somewhere from another unhappy customer that he had contacted Watchdog and they had contacted him back and asked him to get more info so they can investigate them as its not the first time they have recieved complaints about nitrotek products and their customer service returns policy.

Yes John H, because Nitrotek sell and deliver cheap imported plastic junk, and this is the consumers fault? really? what planet are you on? or as already said do you work for nitrotek? The reason why nitroteks rrp is so low is because the models they sell and cheap imports and not worth the time of day. there are plenty of other model stores who actualty sell decent models and then back them up with decent customer service, unlike nitrotek. as soon as they have your money they are not interested and you can kiss your hard earned bucks good bye.

i bought spy hawk for my grandson on the 3rd OCT i phoned these people & was told to email support for info how to bind the plane
I am a 78 year old R/C boats yes i have been doing these for years
got email back from so called support cowboys giving me a link to you tube the chap on you tube had a DX6I with this plane i had a micky mouse transmitter waste of time in the end i had to pay local model shop to do it
it has been one thing after another going wrong
complain to Paypal & won the case my grandson then wanted to keep his plane emailed this cowboy outfit told them this but a servo was not working roger from support emailed me on the 4th OCT to say servo on it way emailed them again this roger emailed me back on he 16thOCT to say give it more time as it was posted on wed the 10thOCT it is now the 20thOCT still no servo emailed thisbunch of liers told to give it more time action
so i am now going to take legal

totally agree. Their customer service is attrocious, they try and fob you off continually saying customer service do not have telephones and only deal with email, this makes the whole process very painfully slow when dealing with returns/complaints.
My son purchased a 1/20 Airsoft BB RC Tank - USA M60 on July 21st which failed to fire after 6 BB (20 mins including some driving)
It was returned to Nitrotek as soon as possible requesting a refund as the tank failed so soon, and was not satisfactory quality or fit for purpose. It arrived with them within 10 days of purchase after waiting for return numbers and postage etc.
It took them almost 4 weeks to acknowledge its return and refused a refund offering to fix and return it, saying my son had possibly loaded dirty BB (they were brsnd new.) To cut a very long story short it took at least 10 phone calls, and the best part of 30 emails - until late December to get a full refund on the tank and a further week or 2 to get the return postage back.
They are the worst company I have ever dealt with by a very long way, they want to make your claim last so long you quit and take the repaired item back, they held £58 belonging to a dissapointed 14yr old for 5 months. If you have no product issues you may be OK, but my advice - avoid at all costs.

What a disgraceful company!

I ordered two nitro remote control cars from you (order number #[protected]) at considerable expense, over £350, 00, for Christmas presents this year. After opening them on Christmas day neither would run despite watching your DVD, visiting your website and watching scores of videos on youtube. Five hours later I decided to give up, causing misery to my son and nephew on Christmas day.
I have been trying the car (Condor pro) constantly since and have discovered that it is not possible to blow through the connection between the rubber tube and the top of the exhaust. The car will start when primed but cuts out almost immediately.
My brother in law has the other car (NBC Truggy) and has informed me he has spent over eight hours since Christmas day trying to start his and although it does occasionally start it also cuts out immediately and is incredibly difficult to start in the first place. Information I have researched from the internet says the car should not be this difficult to start as it comes pre set from the factory.

I have traced one of the problems back to a faulty exhaust (condor pro) The valve that connects the top of the exhaust to the top of the fuel tank is blocked. I spent £49 on a new exhaust from a different shop and the car started immediately, however during the first tank run in the gears stripped themselves without even touching the throttle! would like either a replacement car or a refund or I will be going to trading standards as I was sold a faulty vehicle. The second car I was sold won't even start despite being primed (nbc truggy) research suggests these cars should not be this impossible to start and I would also like this car replaced or refunded and I will buy from a different company!

Do not buy from these guys - their service is the worst I have ever had

The customer service is shocking!
I bought a RC car for my kids at Christmas which as faulty. they send me round in circles and I have not been able to even get the detail to return the car. I have even tried to get the part from them, but they don't have it and have no idea what they are doing - sending me to eBay to buy a part I don't need on multiple occasions - well done Nitrotek!

Impossible Company to deal with when you have a faulty and damaged product delivered and paid for. Bought an RC Spitfire which arrive badly damaged and poorly packaged with faulty receiver. Had to pay for the product to be returned for repair. 5 weeks later product was received with the same damaged parts, additional damaged parts and replacement parts from a completely different model. I have been fighting Nitrotek for a full refund but they refuse. Product was received 6th February and it is now the second week in May. Their terms and conditions which they flaunt when there is a problem do not align with the Consumer Act amendments from October 2015 regarding refunds which is now law. I am threatening legal action and have registered the situation with Consumer rights. Stay away from these crooks.

Awful company, bought 2 electric scooters & both broke within 4-6 weeks & wouldnt refund or replace them so now going through civil courts, don't let them get away with robbing your money with cheap imports that last 2 minutes, I have now purchased 2 razor scooters & there brilliant . Do not buy from this company

Bought a part from this company in September and they took my money straight away. Still not recieved the part and had nothing but lies and broken promises about delivery through the ticket system. Seems that being able to lie is a requirement for a job at Nitrotex. Intend to prosecute this company for fraud if I don't receive my part or my money back.

Purchased the condor pro ( not sure wots pro about it ) wow wot a mistake that was, I guess if your reading this like myself you have had trouble with these nitrotek products, every thing is the users fault, send us photos they said ? Photos sent nothing, chase chase e mail e mail no response, £225 xmas gift 🎁. Lucky enough paid via pay pal once pay pal informed that couldn't respond quicker enough, same spill though user error, not the fact the steering busted after 10 mins running . How trading standards have not shut em down is beyond me & sending flammable toxic fuel via post is prohibited. So long story short avoid at all costs thanks pay pal

Totally agree with all the comments in all the years I have bought goods from companies by Mail Order I have never in my life experienced such absymal and to be frank non existent true customer support.

They consider themselves a law unto themselves totally ignoring ALL consumer legislation which is in place to protect the public from companies who behave like this.

And before somebody accuses me of not knowing what I am on about, I am an experienced RC modeller and have been for several decades. Further more I ran my own business for over 30 years and would never have dreamt of dealing with a customer in the manner Nitrotek do.

You might think its one or two people being disgruntled because they didnt get a solution easily - this is simply not the case, you only have to check the multiple review sites, including Google Reviews and of course the review site they bribe you to post good reviews on.

Interestingly enough I posted a negative review and they never gave me a discount voucher - not that I would have ever considered using it.

I ordered a quad for my child it is electric it has been delivered but will not charge it will not work atall they are telling me I can not have a refund they said I have to pay postage to send it back and it will go in a que to be inspected and they will not send me another quad this is a present for my child for Christmas
