Have been getting charged for their "protection plan" for almost a decade without any notification in the mail about it being renewed so I was able to finally cancel it. Company never did any work but they were happy to collect the nearly $2K over the past years. Complete ripoff.
It was great. The man who came was on time. We had good communication and our air conditioning was serviced and its running fine. Great service to have. Its worth it.
Very nice technician named ***, he took care of the problem with my heating system and explained in detail what was wrong and what he needed to do.
Technician Was here prompt and he was courteous and found and fixed the problem immediately. He also did a thorough check on the ac system. I was extremely happy with the service.

We have never had such a professional and competent crew. The technicians and plumbers along with the HVAC specialist and the electrician were wonderful. We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received with the removal and installation of the furnace, condenser and coil! We highly recommend NJR Home Services!
The problem was found quickly and a fuse was replaced to fix it
We carry insurance with NJR and have found it very worthwhile. The service people are always courteous and very knowledgeable. They go out of their way to repair anything that has broken or needs new parts. We will use their service in the future with confidence.

I had a new furnace and A/C condenser put in. The service was professional and the guys were very careful and clean. Both Henry and Omar were extremely knowledgeable. They laid tarps all over the floor and stairs. Both of them left my yard spotless and had some helpful suggestions. Outstanding!
My senior Mom has not had heat for 1 1/2 weeks
My senior Mom has not had heat for 1 1/2 weeks. No end in sight, they are waiting for part for a two year old furnace and service contract she purchased from them. No one knows if part shipped (was supposed to be delivered in 3 days). They just say they know nothing. The sell poor quality products and offer even worse service.

Great service and very nice service man explained in detail about service done. Did service on our system awhile back and really helped with the problem, when he arrived today he remembered and asked us how we made out, hard to find anyone like him in these times nice to have someone so professional and personable come to your home.
My water heater was replaced 7/16
My water heater was replaced 7/16. Unfortunately, I had to replace it again 4/20 but was under warranty. I had to pay for labor which Nelson gave me a little break. I'm very thankful for what he could do. The plumbers were quick and efficient. They were respectful with the covid 19 precautions. The customer service rep on the phone was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Scheduled a service appointment for the next day. The Service technician was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. While he did not have the parts required in his truck. He ordered the parts and a customer rep called me shortly after to schedule another appointment n a timely manner. It sucks when your systems break. But when they do, I'm glad I can call NJR Home Services.

Yesterday evening Serviceman (John) came and analyzed the problem with his tools and spent a good amount of time and replaced the pressure switch and control board to fix the problem. He is very knowledgeable and was perseverant. Some other technician would have gone back saying I will order the part and will fix when I get the part. I really appreciate John's determination to solve the problem, considering the cold temperature, to help the senior customer.

Think long and hard before purchasing a Service Contract from this company. Have had a contract with them for six years and called for service repair two times. The last time I called was in May this year to repair my Air Conditioning unit. They sent repair people to fix the issue twice; and of course, during this current heat wave in unit is not working again. Contacted the company at 5:30 AM on Thursday Morning and was told that my appointment will be sometime on Monday. Completely Unacceptable! Have spent approximately $2,200 in Service Contract Fees. CLEARLY NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

I have had NJR Home Services for many years but I'm seriously considering dropping the contract. I have what is called the platinum package and apparently that means nothing. For 6 weeks I've been waiting for an estimate on an air conditioning repair. Can't wait to see how long it will take for them to actually complete the work. The people who answer the phone are polite and understanding but that's where the service ends. Despite over 10 phone calls, nobody responds with an actual estimate. It doesn't help that the repair team and the sales team can't even agree on what is wrong with the system. Its like working with the worst company ever.

I have used NJR Home Services on multiple occasions over the last 6 years or so. I have nothing negative to say about their service. The representatives are always polite and prompt. Each of the service technicians I have dealt with have been great. Always quickly addressing any problem, polite, and if a part was needed, it was usually in within days. Today I used NJR to install a new gas hot water heater, it took them less than 3 hours to complete, explained anything that needed to be done to my wife, and cleaned up the area when the job was complete. A++++, worth every penny and absolutely worth the service contract as part of your home gas system.

NJR Home Services does a great job repairing plumbing, heating, etc. However, buyer beware their service contract is for the entire year, 12 months from when you signed up. If you cancel say in the middle of the year because you sold your house, you will be liable for the rest of the year. I sold my house in June . I had to pay for the following 6 months. Contrary to what the rep will tell you, it is never mentioned in any conversation when signing up. You sign up on the phone, give them the information, etc. NEVER is it mentioned. They claim it is in the small print, but signing up on the phone doesn't give you this information. This is a rip off. No other service will not pro rate your usage when ending your affiliation.

Like any company nowadays.. hit or miss. I've had wonderful experiences getting my HVAC dealt with, the (same) tech comes when I need something done and he's fantastic, never an issue. This time I needed to utilize the plan I have for interior electric and the tech never showed and never called. I called to get info about the whereabout of the tech being I had sat waiting from 8:00-3:00 of the 8:00-4:00 "window" they give and at this point wondering if it was going to happen and was then put on hold for the duration (till 4pm) followed by being told I'd get a call back. Never got a call back (I'm on hold AGAIN as we speak- already over 25 minutes - total hold time combined to over 4 hours now) .. never got service, no explanation, no apology.. nothing at this point. Nothing. I use to preach about this company, so many people have signed up because of it.. that will no longer happen.
