i donno if this is true or its just a kind of cheating to take some money out of me!
cz tht wat i read on other sites about the nokia promo ! so now i am lost i donno if i shoulg go on wiz i or just stop cz its a lie?

I have riecved the message that i won worth 600, 000 euros and a nokia N95 mobile phone. I want to make sure is that true or not.

I have received a text message from + [protected] which says the following:

Congratulations: Your mobile number has won you 953, 000 pounds in the ongoing Nokia promo, contact nokia_companypromo@yahoo.com and call +[protected].

Further to which i received a call from them saying that i should send them the courier charges and some other charges which makes upto US$900 and subsequently they will send my cheque to my address. Their officer's name is Ivaivbunu Kevin.

Please verify whether this is a hoax or should i send them the money. I shall highly appreciate your immediate response in this regard. Is there any ongoing promotion from Nokia which is going on?

I can assure you, it is a hoax. Firstly, no legitimate company would require you to pay them a large sum of money and then award you with a million pounds.

Also...Nokia has their own website domain, and therefore email addresses from xxx@nokia.com, or something similar. Therefore, asking you to contact them at a (free) yahoo email address "nokia_companypromo@yahoo.com" should be a giveaway.

I recommend you report the hoax to Nokia.

I have been a customer of Three mobile for the last five years with no problem. the problem is that i took a new contract out in July 2017 on a nokia 6288 white, February this year i had a fault with my phone and sent it back for repair, it came back and still had the same problem, i phoned them back up with the problem and they said they could exchange the phone for a same or greater model which when they sent me the phone it was a nokia 6280 black which was still faulty they then sent me another nokia 6280 black which i received 14 days ago and from the day i had it i could not receive or make calls and everything kept popping up on the screen. I phoned them up with the problem and all Three support team have done is pass me from one to another sales person they then told me they would send me a new Sim card to see if that would solve the problem which it did not. I was told by one of the sales person that the phone had been booked in as faulty before, so i have asked them if they could exchange the phone for one in working order and they have told me to pay £25, i refused, they will only send it back for a 3day repair which i disagree with as it was a faulty good they sent me in the first place. I have always had nokia phones and i have never had a problem with them until now, i would like to know where i stand and should i be able to have a replacement phone. Another thing i would like to ask is what is the difference between 6280 and 6288 as my contract is for a 6288 white and they have exchanged it with 6280 black which Three have told me is the better phone.

The first things, Nokia & DHL companies must disapprove such fraud letters, because theirs notoriety, and theirs logo & name, are involved in this fraud affair.

God only knows why you are sending me a link as to the which shops are services points..My phone is already in your care or at whatever service station in JHB South Africa and has been for the last month and a half. I don’t care about the progress any more as I was told the phone would take approximately 2-3 weeks to fix. There was a problem in my set past 1.5 month ago hence i gave it to nokia service center, chunni ganj, kanpur. they assured me that i'll get my set before 2nd of Nov.08 but it is 11th of nov and my handset is still with them. my warranty period is also expired now if they give me my set with any problem then repairing would be chargable now.
