software upgrade issues
I have Nokia N900 in which we get notification to upgrade software. After I upgraded the latest version asked by Nokia, my contacts are not getting saved. Also, the SIM contacts are also not showing in contact list. At the moment when i save contacts, they are getting saved but after switch off and switch on the contacts are not reflecting in contacts list. I contacted Nokia customer care pn phone and they asked me that software upgrade would have some issues so please go to Nokia care for free software upgrade. I went to Nokia Care, Vaishali, Ghaziabad(Gupta Associates) and they are charging me 450/- for software upgrade and telling me that if only they will get an email from Nokia customer care that as this is a problem because of software upgrade they will do free of charge. I can see a big disconnect betwwn Nokia customer care and Nokia care which is operated by third party. What should I do?Its like Nokia has given me a software for upgrade because of that i m facing issues and now I have to pay charges.How can i even believe that Nokia hasn't put any virus purposefully so that they can earn on the maintenance part?Is it appropriate?

Purchased phone on 10/20/2010, was told the phone was on back order and I would receive the phone in 7 days, on 10/24/2010 I received an E-mail stating phone is on back order with no tentative date to receive phone, on 11/3/2010 I called and customer rep stated he could not give me a date to receive my phone, I asked to speak to the manager, I waited on hold for 10 minutes and the line disconnected, I called back and was told that Omar was busy and would call me back today, Omar never called, on 11/04/2010 I called and Omar was not available, the customer rep checked my order status and it was on back order, I asked when would I receive my phone; again date unknown, I asked to speak to a higher authority, she gave me the same story, I complained that I do not have a tentative date of receipt, they said they will cancel my order, have a nice day!

After wait of painful 20 days I received the set but unfortunately after some days, now when I try to conect wth my pc I found that it, s usb port is not working, its really shocked me because nokia customer care representative told me that they change it with new one. I really shocked. I already distrub for whole month and now they suppose me a ping pong ball. Is this what the nokia says "connecting people" or through this way nokia connecting peaople.
I need a proper action to resolve the said issue.

I had purchased nokia handset (model name - x3-00, esn/imei number– [protected], product code & ndash; 0581193, instrument type-phone, technology type - gsn) on 02/july/2010 from nokia priority dealer new agarwal marketing, indore, madhya pradesh. & nbsp;
From the day of purchase, the handset is showing the frequent problem of sudden switching off. this handset has been sent nokia care (video palace) at indore and they send it to delhi for checking but the problem still persists.
Here I would like to mention that this service centre is around 20 kms from the place where I stay. it’s really problematic and very tiring for me to go to the nokia care after the regular office work.
For my official work I have to travel a lot in different parts of my zone, where mobile is an absolute necessity to keep a track with the clients and also with office.
For this problem with my mobile my work is also getting affected. & nbsp;
Due to problem in this modol I am not satisfied this product so I request you to kindly change the present handset with another model for your customer satisfaction. & nbsp;

Hello I received two missed calls from this number about 12:15am on 10th October 2011 (+[protected]). I returned the call a guy answered saying I won Us $500, 000.00. If I want to claim the cheque I have to come to england. I told him no i can't come. They said the courier charges are to be paid by the winner of which I did, now deliver the parcel to me which they said is with godwin asuen at dhl office in abuja nigeria over two weeks now is mission to no where, saying am to make half payment of $5oo or full payment of $1000 for corrupt charges before the parcel can get to me or they take it back to uk because am a nigeria, corrupt charges over what I was told is legal winning, what if am not a nigerian? I v told them to refund me back my initial courier charges (#65, 500) of they failed to do.

I purchased a new Nokia X6 on 11.07.2010 from Cellucom Retail India Pvt. Ltd, at Nirmal Lifestyle Mall, Bhandup W, Mumbai and was not satisfied with its working. Certain functions were not responding. I gave it to Nokia Care on 18th August 2010 and got it back in mid September within 2-3 days on 16th September 2010, I again gave it for necessary repairs to Nokia Care who returned it back on 30th inst., The same problem started again and same day I returned them back the phone they gave me back on 12th October 201o. I bought a Nokia X6 on 1.12.11 but within1.5 months of buying, the headset was not working. I got it replaced but again it stopped functioning. Within 3 months, I got it replaced twice. Now, my battery is not functioning. When I went to noka care, they said if they update the software, it will be alright but it is not. Now, the battery is given for replacement. I am tired of going to the care centre. They took 1 month to replace the headset second time. After paying around 16K of hard earned money, this is the type of product and service we get. All nokia high end phones have bugs. All, beware before buying any high end nokia product. It is pathetic to see this kind of product and service from a company like nokia who had once the major market share of mobile phones.
The Nokia X6, well first let me start by saying that i have allways used Nokia. They have been reliable, well built and a forefront with mobile phone technology... That is untill now. I Bought my x6 from a telstra t-life store, so it was a repatable dealer. First impression was wow a good size screen. But closer inspection showed flimsy design and cheap looking. Software is standard nokia but web browsing is slow and muddled, it doesnt even let you load full pages, even those made for mobile internet browsing, pics dont load sometimes, 1mb sites are too big, so the phone will stall and freez, that makes the touch screen stop and the 3 keys non responsive. So you have to take out the battery to re start it. The touch screen is often non responsive when online and sometimes even kicks you offline back to your homepage. Dont even think about adding bookmarks because that is to much for the phone to think about. The only good thing about this phone is the inbuilt 16gb memory. Anyway my faith in nokia is gone and i now have an awesome HTC MOZART. Goodbye Nokia

On it shows nokia & plain text blinks for 3 times & goes off, what shall I do.. I'v reapaired it twice.. But still, the same problem exists.. And after repairing it, themes, games, tones were not there.. Also while opening music player, media library gets updated. After geeting updated 100%, it again starts updating... After some days, it got switched off.. And while switching it on, it shows nokia and then blinks thrice and get switched off...

nokia overall sucks
My son bought me in Jeddah a Nokia 52-1; supposedly dual mode CDMA/GSM; when it arrived here, it didnt work on CDMA. Contacted the mymobile on Nokia website but all they did was an immediate response of pre-prepared emails that do not relate to my querry/complaint.
Why would Nokia sell in the Middle East mobiles that operate ONLY on WCDMA that operate only in the US knowing only 2 countries in the Middle East (Yemen and Israel) has the older version of CDMAs. Doesn't this tell that Nokia doesn't care for its customers knowing they cannot be sued in the Middle East.
I hope the likes of Apple and Blueberry beat the hell out of this company that has no regard for customers.

Purchased nokia 5233 on 01/06/2010 from mobile magic shop no 4 netaji mkt sitabuldi nagpur [protected]. When I was in shimla with my family it went in offline mode so I showed it in the nokia care centre in mall road shimla india ie dizitech d. Male above indian coffee house no [protected] shimla. On 6 sept 2010 there I had a talk with ccm dipti verma she told me that I will check it u come tomo, I told her that I am leaving on 7/09/2010 evening. So on 7/09/2010 I was told by her sir it is to be sent to the co as it is in warranty period. As I have to leave for nagpur I told her that I will show it in the nokia gallery nagpur. So I came and showed it in nagpur milap electronics sanskrutik sankul 2 floor jhansirani square sitabuldi nagpur. Where they said that some components are missing, I cannot go inside the mobile and take out the component mr bunty ahuja of milaps had a telephonic talk with the counterpart in shimla dipti verma she told him that it was not physically damaged. I need my handset changed in 3 working days otherwise I will go to consumer court and ombudsman.

i had recharged my mobile nokia5230 online using reliance gsm services for an amount of rs 100/-, but after a couple of hours the balance came down to rs 2.77paise from an balance of rs 122/-. i recieved an sms which said that i had subsribed for three day trial pack of free games for which i had been levied an download charge of rs 90 for the site bl-indiagam which i deny totally for which i hold the company of handset provider nokia india, the service provider reliance communications including the game site bl-indiagam for committing a crime in conniviance with those companies .

I am trying to pre-order a Nokia n900 from Nokia SA but there is absolutely no facility for this. The only way I am able to Pre-order this handset is by ordering it from Europe. I have been unable to contact Nokia SA as they do not have contact details besides an email which nobody replies. How can I get results? I would like to pre-order the n900 as soon as possible so I would greatly appreciate your response in this matter.
