Paid for a lifetime membership, got everything they promised, they starting sending me books, I had to either pay for them or send them back at my expense. (I bought 13 of them, approx $350) I requested three times is writing to send no more. They kept sending them, I finally refused the delivery. Now, i'm apparently on the "bad boy" list, i've received no more samples or anything else, except they wanted to buy some coins.
Too bad I didn't read the many many other stories of the rip off. I'll investigate next time before I spend my money.

I'm a life member and it has been completely worth it. No problems what-so-ever and i got all that they said. And yes, all you have to do is call and tell them to stop. I've found that none of these complaints and accusations against this club have not been the club's fault.
I am a life member from Illinois.Dues are fully paid for life, got some so-called high quality knives you could ride to town on and not cut yourself, a cheap rod and reel with my name on it.I just Rec'd a notice that i am overpaid by $12.00 and will forfeit it by March if i dont contact them(which is impossible to do).I no longer receive a magazine and i now fully believe this club knows how to fish and they are reeling in a lot of suckers.Member#[protected] Life member paid in full.
Been a member for 9 years and never had a problem. They can be contacted quite easily be emailing memberservices@FishingClub.com, and I have always got a timely response (within 48 hours) or by calling [protected] (Member Services) Mon.-Fri. 7:30 - 8:00 pm (CST). The "books" are mailed with POSTAGE PAID labels, so they will pay the shipping if you wish to return them. It is unfortunate that anyone has bad experiences with anything, but even a great business like, oh, let's say Wal-Mart has problems when they are serving millions of people, and the NAFC is no exception. Let's not nail them to a cross for minor issues that we are too stubborn or lazy to attempt to resolve.
My husband has been a "life member", since 12/1995... I paid $400.00, for his life membership...He hasn't received benefits, as promised... Let alone any magazines form them, in over 6 years... I am livid! We have moved twice, within that time, always updating our address... yet, when I pull up his account, his OLD # (official member), is on the account. Not his LIFE MEMBERSHIP #...WTF?..."Life" membership, should be just that...LIFE...Not, just "get mags for 1-2 years, then nothing! He has never gotten any kind of products to "field test", even though we always sent the card in for them...The only thing, that he got, was his Life Membership card, the certificate certifying Life Member Status, and the Patch...This isn't cool at all, guys! Btw, the [protected] phone number, doesn't work...All you get, is a recording "Your call did not go through"...
