7&santoku knife-king salmon pkg
I ordered 2 knives. I got them. I decided I did not want them. I sent them both back in the same box, with the labels that were provided for them. they are still trying to charge me 57.98 for one of them. I am not paying for something I don't even have! they were both in the same box. But somehow they are still trying to charge me for one of them. Sincerely, Bernard Hibbert
Company lied about everything
I am a trophy life member of North American Fishing Club. I can't get in touch with anyone from the company to talk to about my complaints. I joined the club as a life member in 2010 to test products. The cost was $350.00. They sent me another offer to become a trophy life member at a cost of $129.00 more to test better and more expensive products. I have not received but one magazine since then. I can not get in touch with anyone, no one answers the phone, and can get no response from them even through the internet. I am disappointed and would like a full refund on my money that I have paid to this company.
When I joined this club it offered a lot of great information and deals. So I became a Trophy Life Member. Since then the whole program seems to have fallen apart. No more test products and deals that were there before. There are no benefits for the fisherman now. It's just all about the club making money for themselves. They don't seem to care about it's membership anymore. Unfortunately all we can do is complain. Nothing will change. I regret even spending the money for my membership. But that's the way it goes now days. All these companies want to do is make money for themselves. The hell with the members. Too bad.
Where are my mags?
I've been a life member for many years. I paid my membership dues in full and received a fishing rod and reel like promised but have not received the magazines for life like promised. I would like my magazines sent to me as that is the reason I joined the club. My membership number is [protected]

I received a calendar from the club several weeks ago and I sent it back, because I didn't want it. I am now receiving a bill for 19.98 for the calendar. I have tried to contact the club and none of the phone numbers I have are working. They have a recoding that everything is taken online now, but when I try to get a web site to do business I can't find any information or how to get in touch with any one. I refuse to pay for something I sent back.
Broken contract
I just cancelled my lifetime memberships from both nahc and nafc. I received my magazines from each club and they are the exact same magazine sporting different covers. When I called into non-customer service and spoke to a supervisor to request a refund for one of my memberships I got nothing bur disgusted. Her basic message was either love it or leave it. Well, I left them. Hopefully my cancellation will send a very small message to corporate but if all other members follow my lead it may change a very samll message into a huge one. I attempted to post this message on both the nahc and nafc website chat rooms but not surprisingly they were both censored. Fyi - I placed my new huge, slippery (No, i'm not going there!) "coffee table" (Must be a wannabee outdoorsman that pays for guides and says he did it on his own kind of guy - I don't have one of those in my cabin) advertising magazines directly in the recycle bin. Good luck with your newly destroyed clubs and i'll see you in the woods or on the water.

Been a life member since 2004,haven't gotten anything since I moved 8 yrs ago! Figured I'd cancel my membership since I've been ill and haven't been fishing as much. Paperwork I have says I can cancel anytime and get my money back! Guess they really gave all of us the raw deal! I would love my money back! Anyone know where I can try? Ive checked some of these websites like stuuffstuff, got no where!
Well, I guess I now know why I haven't heard anything about my life memberships to NAFC and NAHC in years. I thought it was because I'm in the military and moved a lot. It would be nice to get my money back since we're not getting what we paid for.
My name is Carlton L Richardson and I'm a life member with NAFC. My account last 4 ends with 2028. I'm not sure as to what's really going on because NAFC phone number hasn't worked for me. I'm just making it known that I'm concerned about my membership as well.
I agree totally! I have been a life member since 1999, paid all dues and at first was receiving offers, magazines, and test items on a regular basis. About a year ago I had not received a magazine for quite some time so I wrote them about it and got no response. I went on their website and found the mag. was online. I also seen they were doing testing thru something called StuffStuff or something like that. I subscribed and received a couple of items which was Berkley line and cannot remember the other. No matter I tested and reviewed and wanted to test other items but nothing. Their Give-Away program is a joke as I have always put in but nothing there either. They probably go to their "Buds". I just went to their new website and found my status as expired! How am I expired as a paid in full member in good status. This outfit is a JOKE and will never go to their website again. As for my membership I guess I will eat the membership fee but will cancel my membership. The same goes for the NAHC both are a farce and hopefully folks start cancelling out of their memberships and maybe wake this club up. Very disappointing that these people call themselves fisherman or hunters, they are just another group looking for money. Tight Lines to all of the real FISHERMEN!
WHEN I BECAME A LIFE MEMBER TO THIS FISHING CLUB THEIR MAGAZINE WAS INFORMATIVE TO A DEGREE.IF YOU PICKED WHAT YOU WANTED IN THE INFO YOU COULD BECOME MORE PRODUCTIVE WITH YOUR FISHING.IT WAS OK UNTIL THIS LAST ISSUE THAT WAS SENT.THIS IS THE BIGGEST PIECE OF GARBAGE I HAVE RECIEVED CALLING ITSELF A FISHING MAGAZINE.
I USE TO GET THE IN FISHERMAN PRIOR TO MY SUBSCRIPTION TO NAFC.
I SWITCH BECAUSE THEY STOPPED TEACHING ANYTHING NEW BUT NEVER TURNED INTO A ADVERTISING BOOKLET LIKE NAFC HAS SHOWED ME WITH THEIR LATEST.
I ALSO AGREE THEIR PRODUCT TESTING PROGRAM IS A COME ON FOR NOTHING.I TESTED 2 DIFFERENT PRODUCT FOR THEM.THE FIRST WAS AN 3/8 OZ. ARTIFICIAL LURE .IT WAS SENT IN JANUARY AND THEY WANTED RESULTS IN 4 WEEKS.I LIVE IN THE NORTHERN STATES AND COULDNT SEE GOING OUT TO MY FAVORITE LAKE AND CAST IT ON THE ICE AND SEE IF ANY FISH WOULD BREAK THRU TO ATTACK MY LURE.THE SECOND WAS MOISTURE PACKETS FOR TACKLEBOXES.YOU COULD BUY KITTY LITTER OR REGULAR OILDRY AND GET SAME RESULTS A LOT CHEAPER. BOTH PRODUCTS WERE A FLOP IN MY BOOK AND TOLD THEM SO.NEVER HEARD ANOTHER WORD FROM THEM.BOTH PRODUCTS GOT AN EIGHT FROM CLUB.ALL THE BETTER PRODUCTS WERE A COME ON IN MY OPINION.
ONLY THING THAT THEY DID DO WAS GIVE ME THE GIFTS THAT WERE PROMISED FOR LIFE MEMBERSHIP.
RIGHT NOW I WOULDNT RECOMEND THIS CLUB TO NOBODY.
Collections
I agree with the many others on this site that the north american fishing club is a scam. My family also received bills from north american fishing club... Stating that there was still time to claim our free gift if we paid our subscription. As we did not want the subscription, just ignored this as junk mail. Then received a letter from the collection agency stating that as we have not paid for our subscription, the account was now in collections. The only thing the north american fishing club, along with their collections partner, is fishing for is money for nothing. In the meantime, they are busy damaging innocent peoples credit! The authorities need to step in and prosecute both!

@CONSERVATION FISHER,
They send unsolicited junk mail. We have been getting it since we moved in to this place since late 2009, of course the name they have made up matches no one living here, so it all goes into the trash.
So stop assuming someone is a dead beat and doesn't want to pay up! Who wants to pay for unsolicited junk mail? Fool!
I have been a life member for many years. I was getting plenty of free things to test until they recently changed their testing program. I get the magazine on a regular basis, which I love to read. I received one book which I did not order. I returned it to them with the prepaid postage enclosed and requested they not send me any more as federal postal regulations allow me to keep unsolicited items I receive in the mail. I never got another one.
The authorities need to step in and prosecute YOU for citing malicious accusations and unfounded at that... Pay you bills ### and have no collections calling you... I have been A LIFE MEMBER FOR OVER 10 YEARS NOW NO COMPLAINTS...EXCEPT LISTENING TO LITTLE BABIES LIKE YOU... STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND BE A MAN PAY UP...
Scam
They turned my husband in to a collection agency for not paying a $237.00 for books that he did not recieve. what a rip off.

My 7 year old son received a letter from North American Fishing Club (NAFC) stating someone had referred his name to NAFC as an avid and highly respected fisherman and as such, invited him to join NAFC. The enticing letter, especially for a 7 year old, promised a "Filet Knife Set", "2 bobbers", magazines, and the chance of receiving numerous other free gifts with his membership at a special $10 introductory rate for a 1 year membership, to be paid at a later time. The free gifts were suppose to include various new high quality fishing products from various manufactures who wanted to test market their products through NAFC members. How could a 7 year old resist. Even after my wife and I explained to him how if something seems to good to be true, it probably is not true. Our son persisted and agreed that he was willing to pay $10 of his own money for the 1 year membership, to include receiving the free knife, bobbers, and magazines. My wife and I wavered from our better judgment and allowed our son to send in the membership card with his signature - well knowing we were not going to let him run wild with the knife, and figuring it was only for a $10 fee which he said he was willing to pay. The decision to join was ultimately his. A few weeks later my son initially received a cheesy membership card and window decal sticker. These were later followed by his receiving a low quality fishing magazine from NAFC and a small pack of very cheap looking fishing hooks, but no "Filet Knives" and "bobbers" as noted in the $10 special they initially enticed him with. NAFC seemed to make more promises about my son's receiving bigger and better prizes if he would commit to longer membership, of course at higher prices. Recognizing that NAFC's promises were more of a scam than initially suspected, that NAFC had not fulfilled their contractual obligation, and knowing that under contract law that a contract with a minor is not binding on behalf of the minor, we advised our son that he did not have to pay the $10 membership fee until NAFC held up to their end and he received the free gifts they PROMISED, at which time he would send them the $10 they quoted to him for his 1 year trail membership. My son began receiving notices from NAFC stating he had an outstanding balance of $24 dollars and that if he did not send them payment, that it would be turned over to a collection agency. Eventually, my son received a letter from Retrieval-Masters Creditors Bureau, Inc., a collection agency. NAFC's practices are extremely questionable and appear to be more geared to extorting money from its members than providing any kind of fair product in exchange for its members dues.
i was promised three free gifts for joining, a fishermans weigh n fillet set, arattlin rapala lure, and gas rebates. ive already got letters and books sent to me asking me to buy or upgrade my membership. i think we need to take care of the first promise first! NOT IMPRESSED SO FAR! ed smith member #[protected]
As a 9 year member of the club, I could not disagree more. All notices I have every recieved did instruct that you recieve the free gifts with PAID membership. If the bill had been paid, you would have recieved what you were "promised". I have no financial interest in the club, as I am a FEE PAYING member; however I have ALWAYS recieved what I was told I would get. In the one and only instance where something was not shipped to me, a simple call to customer service resolved the issue within a matter of minutes, and I had the item within a week.
I am in agreement with bpete and NOT the original complainer on this one. While I understand there can be frustrations when dealing with such an entity as NAFC, I've personally NEVER had any problem they weren't willing and able to resolve in a timely manner. I've received several items to 'test' and happily been the chosen winner in one of their contests although only being a Life Member for three years. The items they've sent me for my approval have either been purchased or returned without any problems/questions. I'm sorry that you had such a negative experience. On a whole, I've been satisfied with 'The Club' and think the benefits (knowledge/insights) you can get far outweigh any minor inconveniences you might endure.
I can agree with your comlaint as to sending a seven year old this offer and I think I would have the same thoughts if it was one of my boys. however i can tell you from being a life member for 12 years that i have received everything promised to me by the club and I would proudly recomend the club to anyone interested in improving their fishing skills and knowledge. I sincerily hope that this problem with you sons trial membership get resolved.
Spot on - North American Fishing Club is a Scam
I asked ror free gift. I did not want. They sent me to collection, creditor bureau for gifts and magazines I did not recive a single thing!
This american fishing club is out of control I had sent in for a free trail of magazine w/free gift. That was 5 hooks. They were of no guality. And no magazines ever came to my mail box so I never subscribed to them. Thinking thay would get it. That I wanted nothing to do with them or there products. Now they have a creditor writing me telling me I am past due on my payments. For something I dont want in the first place. This action put a bad mark on my credit score. I will send them one doller for the poor grade hooks. If that does not make us even. Then more action will have to taken. Thanks derek d d.

I got sucked in and paid for a subscpription.
Received 5 cheap hooks and nothing else.
Have the cancled check and they are now telling me I owe more.
These people are thieves and should be investigated by The Stae Attorney Generals Office.
How to avoid their scam
My father paid $213 for a "lifetime membership" in may, 2011. Was supposed to get a shimano fishing rod and reel and magazine as part of the membership. Never got the rod & reel. Instead he received books & gifts & others items that he was being charged for. He mailed it all back and made phone calls to cancel but never got responses. He's a senior citizen...

Placed an order for a fishing related item. The company successfully charged my credit card in march, apparently shipped the product in march by fedex to the post office who then lost it. The nafc now claims that the credit card was declined (Not confirmed as of may 31st) aand refuse to replace the product. Online searches indicate that my placing an order with nafc was ill advised. Just a word up folks.

Having trouble with this organization sending out junk coins, junk calenders, etc. You put a return to sender on the package, send it back, still get billed. Constantly. How do I get them off my back?

I have been ripped off by this scam organization as well...a huge fee for a lifetime membership with 'free' gifts to follow...what a sham...I received books, lures of no value, fishing lines, calendars and other stuff...I was promised a filet knive among other little goodies but they never came...I still receive stuff from this sham organization that I never open and return to them unopened and as one complainer stated, you still get billed for stuff you returned to them without opening...I just received another item from them in today's mail...let's see what this one says: Uh Oh...they have sent me two cards asking me to take out a long term health care policy with them...when will this crap ever end. It says 'Medical Evacuation..Medical Assistance...Travel Assistance & Assistance for Companions...this organization needs to be exposed for what it is...a back room sham operating out of MN.
Mailers
Wondering is anybody is having problems with the so called gifts that is sent out by this organization? (Calendars & coins etc) if you keep it you buy it. I have been a life member close to 20 years, and it has gotten bad. I have never kept anything. I automatically do a return to sender in big red letters right at the post office when I pick up my mail. I have sent letters telling this this and I continue to get bills. This last one says that they have billed me 5 times which is bull. I have sent a response everytime and have my copies. What started out as $14 for a calender, which by the way can be purchased at big 5 for $5.00 is now up to $26.00. How do I get them off my back?
Thanks/ken

To north american fishing club, I had recived two north american calendars about oct. 20th. On noveber 1st. I sent them back. I never opened the pagage. Just opened the letter on the outside of the pageage. And got the return addrese slip and put it on the outside of it and took to th manitowoc, wisconsin 54220 post office and went inside, paid for what it cost tosend it back. Now today I get a bill for something I do not even have! I am not paying for somethinmg I do not have.
I have been a member of the north american fishing club for a long time. They were a company that published a magazine at the time I joined. Now it seems like their only purpose is to send me unsolicited shoddy merchandise along with an very high priced billing. If I do not want it I am instructed to return to them, but I have to pay the postage to do that.
The latest is a product they call the sportman's cutlery collection. They keep sending me knives every 6 to 8 weeks. The knives are made in china and not good quality but are priced at $59.95 each. I foolishly sent payment and kept the first 2 but then decided enough was enough. I paid the postage to send the next one back along with a notice not to send me any more. I keep receiving more at $59.95 each. I have spent so much on sending them back and am getting past due notices for those I have already returned. I have tried several times to contact the customer service number but can never get through to anyone.
Beware! This company is only interested in scamming you.
I have experienced the same ordeals as others have posted on this wire, i.e., lifetime membership, calendars, books, cheap lures, cheap fishing lines and just today, I received a letter from them asking me to join their 'emergency medical treatment' organization which is underwritten by some org out of AZ...This company needs to be exposed as they're ripping people off right and left...and they operate under the pretense that they're a fishing club...good cover, don't you think.
Postal fraud/scam
I rec'd a postcard type mailing that promised a free gift and a chance to "pre-view" the magazine "at no cost to me". The only thing I rec'd from this company was an invoice for a 1 year subscription. No free gift included. Inside the invoice was a letter stating that as soon as I paid my membership dues, I would receive my gift from them as promised...

I was sent an invoice about a month ago soliciting me for membership. I mailed back to them that I am not interested and to remove me from their mailing list. Today in the mail I received a past due invoice for membership. I tried calling the 800# I found on the internet (Since there wasn't one listing on the invoice) and could not get anyone on the actual phone, just an automated system.
I did not request to be a member and I want them to remove me from their list for any future mailings. I do not now or in the future want to become a member of the north american fishing club.
Thank you,

I did apply for a membership but it was for $12.00 then when I recieved a statement it was for $36.00 I'd say they are very misleading . I didn't recieve the products that they said i would so i saw no problem no product no money, but now the threats and past due notices are getting to be a bit to much. I don't want anything from this company other than for them to leave me alone stop the harrassing letters threating to turn me over to a collections if not paid in 10days.
i never had a membership and i received this letter that i was; when i send a letter back to them i did not want to be a member they sent me a bill . how do i file a law suit against these crooks and is there a class action started?
I am a life member. They send things I don't want. I have sent back and then they bill me. I have told them to take me off the mailing list and not to send anything else. I am now being billed for a calender I have returned. I will not pay as I have paid for a coin I never received. I don't know how to get off the list and drop my membership. Pat Etter PS I have always heard you aren't responsiable for things you never ordered.
You will never get an answer from this bunch of scammers, just a statement wanting more money for some worthless books .
I haven't even ordered anything from them and got a past due bill. I found this site while browsing to try and find a phone number for them sense it is not on the bill anywhere that I can see.

LAST CHANCE-FINAL NOTICE
I sent the last two letter back to NAFC, and now, North American Fishing Club send me a third notice of a DVD on TROUT TECHNIQUES that I never received in the mail for $12.24. Don't know where it is, and I'm paying for something I never received. Tell them I don't want any DVD.
i am sorry to see so meny fishing loveres getting scammed!ME being one also I guess!however I paid by ck.&kepted their email that they recieved payment, so I will keep you posted!FISHING LOVERES BEWARE!
I also was paid in full, 10/30/2010 but keep getting bills, trying to contact them not easy!
No response
I wanted to get started with the nafc as sson as I received their mailing. Thought my grandkids would like a fishing magazine. I was in such a hurry, I quickly took $12.00 out of my wallet and put it in the envelope along with the registration blank. 2 weeks later, I got a bill for $12.00. They said if I wanted to receive my first free gift, it would be sent after they received my one year membership payment of $12.00. I have received nothing! They got their (My) $12.00 cash. I suppose it was toooooo tempting for someone and they just stuck it in their pocket. I have heard since, that the north american fishing club is only a cover for some kind of book club that you get tied into— before you get any of the things you are to receive free for testing. What a farce! I want my $12.00!
I also will be contacting the better business bureau on these phonies, what a scam.
I deffinately agree with you and i suggest that you contact The Better Business Burea in Minnetonka, MN...just like I did :)

Paid for a lifetime membership, got everything they promised, they starting sending me books, I had to either pay for them or send them back at my expense. I signed up & paid for one (1) year membership. I was to get 6 magazines, quite a few gifts & free test items. I only got 2 magazines, several cheap packs of hooks & a multitude of requests for me to send them more money to become a life-time member. This extra money will include many-many more free items & a life-time membership. Bull! I have not received all of what I was promised in the single year membership.
In mail today got threatening letter from North American Fishing Club, threatening to turn me over to a collection agency, etc, if I didn't cough up their membership fee. I do not fish anymore, haven't fished for years. I never even heard of these people. Thanks to websites like yours, I learned that they are part of North American Membership Group, as is Handyman Club of America and numerous other phony "clubs" which are actually nothing more than for-profit companies. Handyman Club is probably where they got my name and address, as I was briefly a member, soon realized what a rip-off they were and used my cancellation privileges to get a refund of my Handyman Club money. I guess this is how they try to get the money back again. Anyhow, I've been talking to people, and so far have convinced three other members of the Group's various clubs to drop their memberships in their respective clubs. I have a call in to the USPS Postal Inspector, but haven't gotten anything back yet.
Thanks to all of you, Iwas going to join but the nay's outweigh the yay's. Thanks again.
Thanks to all of you! Iwas going to join, but the nay's outweigh the yay's. Thanks again.
I also was told it was just a $1 a month but got the bill and it was either $24 for two years or $36 for three years. I have received only 1 magazine. I was not able to pay the price that they wanted me to pay so now I get a notice that they want to send me to a collection agency. I was also promised gifts for a one year subscription. I can't pay that price or 2 and 3 years. I just wanted 1 to see if I liked it not 2 and 3 years.
I don't fish never [censored] and I've got today a packet and card from NAFC that assign me as official member. Please anybody know what to do? To return packet or just to ignore it?
I have been with HAFC for over 2 years & went in as a Life Member & recieved everything they said in the ad. That includes the fishing pole with my name on it & fishing reel. I am sending in my test profile to test more products.
Well, I got this nice letter inviting me to join at a special $10 introductory for 1 year. I also won a "Filet Knife Set" and "2 bobbers."
I sent in my card for membership.
I RECEIVED an invoice IMMEDIATELY saying if I paid $36 they would send me the "Filet Knives" and "bobbers".
NO MENTION of the $10 special they enticed me with.
Basically, when I see the free gifts they PROMISED, they'll get my $10 they quoted to me for a 1 year trail membership.
I don't see that happening as I've read several complaints on the net regarding their questionable practices of extorting members.
I am a lifetime member since 1996. I field tested a fishing product fo them and kept it when the test was done. You must volunteer to test gear; They don't send it without asking. The only thing you must do is fill out an evaluation form with the results (your opinion). I had only one problem at the beginning of my membership and resolved it via e-mail. The only thing I wish for is more west coast fishing coverage. Too much of the coverage is the east coast and the great lakes. I am surprised to see these complaints. I'm also a member of The Handyman Club (the same organization) and have had no problems whatsoever. I consider their magazine information to be very good and useful
I have never had a problem with them. I have been a member since 2004 and just recently, received a product to test that was worth $130.00, which I get to keep. I would recommend joining if you like to fish. They have always done what they said they would. They even continued my account with out a break while I was in Iraq and could not get a hold of them for over a month with out an additional charge or cancellation because of the break in membership. Their number is [protected] and their email is memberservices@fishingclub.com
I BECOME A MEMBER OF N.A.F.C. FIRST, THEN A LIFE TIME MEMBER . I WOULD GUESS MY COMPLAINTS WOULD BE A LOT LIKE OTHERS WHO HAVN'T RECEIVED THE PROMOS PROMISED. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR MONTHS TO RECEIVE MY FISHING REEL WITH MY NAME WRITTEN ON IT, I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS BUT THEY KEEP TRYING TO GET ME TO UP GRADE TO THE NEXT LEVEL. IF THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE LIKE US WHO WORK HARD AND TRY HAVE SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF AND THEN BE DECEIVED IS A DISGRACE. UPON A NOTICE I RECEIVED FROM THEM THERE WAS A PHONE NUMBER I TRIED TO CALL AND TO MY SURPRISE A VOICE MESSAGE DIRECTED ME TO CALL A SEX FHONE. I'M GOING TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS IF ITS THE LAST THING I DO. I TRULY HOPE THIS IS NOT A SCAM, IT WOULD A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT. IN THE PAST YEAR THEY'VE MANAGED TO GET OVER FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS OF MY MONEY PLUS WHAT I PAID FOR BOOKS, COINS ETC. I'VE BEEN UP TO MY NECK WITH SCAMS OVER THE YEARS AND THIS ONE MAY BE THE ONE THAT BREAKS THE CAMELS BACK. GOD HELP THEM IF N.A.F.C. "NORTH AMERICAN FISHING CLUB " IS DISHONEST FRAUDULENT. YOU SHALL SURELY COME TO NAUGHT!
Did not receive promised promo gifts offered when first signing up!
Initially, I was offered free gifts as a prom to intice the sale of a membership. I did not receive all of the free gifts offered and now have received a notice to renew my membership. I do not have an e-mail address to bring this issue up with this club, but would certainly would like to ask them to explain to me the benefits of membership again!

I, had recently joined and got a bill for past due. Mind you that my payment was on time and I had to call automated service to check on my payment, yes it was recieved but, where's the free stuff . I could have bought some other magazine probably as good and then stop at the tackle shop, problem solved. I am using my bill envelope to send them a letter, m sure they will open it if they think there is money. LENEDOGG somewhere in NewHampshire
This club is a scam and I believe the people writing positive things about the club are either a scam also or the few lucky ones the club sends things too so they look lejit.

Although some Members have had trouble getting things from the Club that were promised to them, they don't offer much extra "stuff" unless you become a FULLY PAID Life Member. Feel free to contact me as I am an 8 year Life Member and regular on the Forums at the site.

My husband signed up for a 3 year membership, paid in full. He was very excited about rec'ing the magazine. We got it for about a year, then, they stopped. I went on the web site, and was re-directed to "Scout". I have sent them COUNTLESS e-mails about getting a refund. It seems that they are no longer printing a hard copy of the magazine- you need to go on-line to read it. Well, my husband won't touch the computer! So I asked for a refund- they said because it was over a year, and I had agreed to their "terms of service' I had no recourse. Wanna Bet? They never notified ANYONE that they had changed to electronic publication, which was in violation of THEIR terms of service! They agreed to send me a refund- still waiting after about 4 months, and more e-mails. It's NOT about the money- it's the principle of it all! I am a believer that the pen is mightier than the sword, so, my friends, spread the word that SCOUT is a major rip off, AND I am going to report them to the BBB! (End of Rant!)
Ok, I became a life time member back in 05/2006, I paid in full and I received my membership package. Now it's 2015 and I haven't received and of my promise monthly magazine. I think the last one I received was last year. What's up with that? my members number is #[protected].
What do you want, just send my magazines, or refund my membership!

This company is charging me $36.00 for a subscription that I NEVER signed up for! I hadn't even heard about the club or site until I hit it.
What can be done to stop this company from doing this and stop contacting me with canned responses to my questions and demands to cease and desist?
