misleading warranty information
In September 2018 I purchased a 2018 Cadillac XT5. After reviewing the carfax, test driving the vehicle and being reassured by the salesman, manager and finance person that any issues with the vehicle would be covered bumper to bumper with the remaining warranty.
In November, the car gave me a warning that the park assist needed to be serviced so I thought nothing when I took it to Massey Cadillac for servicing until they explained that the sensor needed to be replaced but the repair would not be covered under warranty because of the previous damage. They quoted me $591.37 to have the work done. Imagine my surprise because I was told that any issues would be covered under warranty. I have since contacted Cadillac and basically was told that Offlease only lied! They are selling cars that still have warranty left on them and not disclosing that if problems arise that had anything to do with previous collision, it will NOT be covered under warranty.
This is very shady business practice, misleading and wrong. I will not purchase a vehicle from them again!
car sold with undisclosed frame damage
Coincidentally both my neighbor and our family were sold undisclosed damaged BMW's from Off Lease Only Orlando that had known structural damage! My husband was sold a 2013 BMW 528 Xi for me to drive in November 2015. I have Power of Attorney to handle dealings with this vehicle. The car we researched online was not there when he arrived. So they spent hours from early morning til closing, with the children, looking for a suitable vehicle. The car had "body damage" disclosed and sold "as is". Elvis, the salesman, stated that the car did not sustain any structural damage. CarFax did not report the severe rear end and side rear impact until March 2018. However AutoCheck is the report we found that shows the car was purchased from Texas Auction on October 2015 with disclosed "structural damage" to Off Lease Only. The car was not restored to manufacturer specs as stated on the website, nor was their full disclosure of the vehicles kown structural integrity as also stated on their website. The car had damaged rear seatbelts my husband did not notice that looked as if a dog chewed threw them, missing lug nut right rear, bent rim right rear, worn tires, worn rear brakes, right rear passenger door air sound coming through, missing door seal and door brace, car pulled to the right. We knew we purchased the car "as is" and therefore paid thousands out of pocket for the above repairs. The advertised savings on the car, went right back into repairing the car to have a safe functioning vehicle as well as time, missed work and frustration invested. So we thought we had a safe car now...Multiple issues with car serviced with Reeves Tampa from electrical, alternator, white engine smoke to a failed engine at 85, 999. Reeves said trade in value was $2000 and car was not worth repairing with the frame damage. CarFax does not show any of the maintenance from Reeves but I have all documentation. It is unconscionable to sell a vehicle to a family that is known to be compromised and unsafe to make a profit. It is also a violation of the Florida Statute 501.976 section 5. "Represent orally or in writing that a particular vehicle has not sustained structural or substantial skin damage unless the statement is made in good faith and the vehicle has been inspected by the dealer or his or her agent to determine whether the vehicle has incurred such damage." This omission of known information DOES NOT fall under the "as-is" clause, and therefor "as - is" no longer applies. CarFax is NOT an issue in this case because the structural integrity of the car was known by Off Lease Only when they purchased from auction, but they were not transparent to the consumer.
I have made multiple attempts to speak with John, the sales manager and Mike the GM. We had contact at first and now neither return calls or emails. I have read how the owners Mark and Eileen care about their business and I have seen other people reach a resolution that positively reflect the integrity of this company. I understand they have grown so large and it's difficult to know what all employees are doing. I would be happy to talk to the owners for resolution. This experience has been so negative with the customer service and My trust of them being transparent has been lost. At this point I am a Gravely disappointed consumer! I will continue to post on sites until I find an employee with a good heart to help resolve this issue.
services
I apply online, right after I call the orlando location they tall me to come to the dealer that I was pre approved. I arrive at 11:01 am, I wait 40 min to see and drive the car, the sales person look in to my trade in, he say you will be ok, at 7:00pm they tall me that I have to bring min 3k to do the deal and my payment will a lot more, when I was very clear before I started the negotiations about payment and they was agree, the least you expect after 8 hours seating on they hot lobby is leaving driving the car that you want, not wait 8 hour and just waste you time this is not the right way to do business, if is no is all good and my wife have 647 score but is ok, no is no but dont say yes during the enteri day and a the end ohhhh sorry for all this time look that was miscommunication, I was there all the time asking questions i ask for my car key few time to go lunch and they was like if you go you will lose the car, you do not wait 8 hours and go home with not car
Sales manager came to me and ask, " what I cant do to do make my job better " really I been in your lobby in and out for 8 hours and that was the first time that I see you or talk to me and you just ask that, is very simple start with doing you job

car sold with frame damage as clean/ wrong carfax report given at the time of purchase/ fraud
When I purchased my vehicle at Off Lease Only Miami in August of 2015 I was provided with a carfax that stated the vehicle had only one previous owner and one accident with minor cosmetic damage. Flashing forward to 2018 I am now trying to sell my car. Not only have I already taken in my Honda Accord for an auto recall service on some battery parts but I am now finding out that my car has actually had one other previous recall service, three previous owners, and frame damage!
I have plenty of student loan debts to be paying off instead of wasting my money on a car that is lemon, a car that I was frauded into buying, a car that all this time has been so unsafe for me to drive. I would like for Off Lease Only to take responsibility for selling me this very unsafe vehicle in a fraudulent way. I would like for Off Lease Only to pay off the remainder of my existing auto loan in compensation for all the money they've frauded me out of in this entire process and for the danger they've put me in.
*Attached are images of the carfax I received on the day of purchase and two different carfaxes that I have found while trying to sell my car.

lexus rx 350
No more from off lease only!
We bought a 2009 lexus rx350 in 2012 after owning a 2003 rx300 for about 6 years that we bought from se car agency that was certified pre-owned and trouble free. After one day of bringing the 2009 rx350 car home from their palm beach county location, we noticed antifreeze on our concrete. It was a leaky water pump; pump, belt and all pulleys cost about $950 to replace.
The radio volume knob was useless because of lacking the knob insert.
The air filter and cabin were filthy.
After a few months the dashboard melted into a tar-like substance, as did the rubber over the tailgate latch.
The wheels were out-of-line and caused excessive tire wear.
The low tire pressure light came on and stayed on, even though all tires were properly inflated.
The brake pads were nearly worn out and needed to be replaced ($400).
Then, the alternator became noisy and that required replacement for another $550.
We have driven this rx350 about 24, 000 miles to date.
Previously, I purchased two grand marquis cars (From dealers) and drove them a combined total of about 400, 000 miles with no problems.
Buyer beware of off lease only!

buying a car
Went to buy a car and was the worst experience ever. They only had about 10 cars with a clean Carfax with no accidents in my price range below $16, 000. Found a car I liked waited for hours to get to finance and was told my interest rate would be 12% when I was already approved at other dealerships for 6% on used cars. Stay away from this place they are total frauds in the finance department

sold my son an unsafe vehicle
Let me first start off by saying this is our 3rd car purchased from this company, but the first one from this location. We purchased 2 cars from the Miami location, a BMW 535i and a VW GTI and both cars were not only in great condition when we took delivery but it appears that all safety items were taken care of, good tread on tires, good brakes, all fluids in order etc. The carfax for one car showed it had a previous accident and we were ok with that. The salesman Kenny was also wonderful and helped steer my daughter toward the safest car and we were very happy customers.
Therefore when my son wished to buy his first car naturally we went back to Offleaseonly. However, since we were in the WPB area we decided to visit the new lot and he decided on a 2014 Mercedes CLA 250. The carfax did not show an accident but there was evidence that there was an accident as pointed out by our very knowledgeable salesman Major, and we were ok with knowing that it was probably an unreported fender bender.
We bought the car as is, which is standard I believe when you purchase a car from them. We closed the deal on Jan 30th and on Feb 14th my son said he heard a loud noise when he turned into our neighborhood and stepped on the brake. A review of the brakes showed that not only were all the brake pads worn down to almost nothing, but the front rotors were already worn and damaged. Did I mention that this was TWO WEEKS after taking delivery? What about the safety inspection that is supposed to be performed on all the cars prior to being placed on the lot for sale, according to their sales people. I know this because when my daughter had her eye on a Scion in the Miami location, our sales person told us that the car was known to have issues and it was still undergoing a safety inspection prior to being available for sale. He did not recommend that car for a young driver based on what he knew of its service history. This is good responsible customer service! Not what we got at the WPB location!
I think it is unconscionable that a company would deliver a vehicle with such a safety hazard as having not only well worn brakes, but brakes that are eating into the rotors. This should have been an obvious thing to discover and disclose to us had a proper inspection been performed. If this had been disclosed to us we perhaps would have purchased the vehicle anyway and we could have we gone straight to our mechanic to get a brake job but it was not. This is not a legal matter because we do sign that we are purchasing “AS IS”, but if I wanted a crappy and dangerous second hand car I would have stopped at any of the hundreds of used car shops in town, but I came to this company because I liked their no haggle business model, and as an unsophisticated buyer with limited automotive knowledge, I had a certain level of trust that I was getting a quality product, based on my previous experience in the Miami location. I have referred several people to this company whenever I hear they're in the market for a new car, but unfortunately, now they have lumped themselves into the barrel with all of the other untrustworthy “user car dealers” in my opinion. Sorry offleaseonly, I won't be back! You've lost my trust and subsequently by business.
After the car got to the mechanic for new brakes he noticed that the windshield is also cracked right down by the VIN number. Another safety hazard! Buyer beware when you go to the WPB offleaseonly!
Feel free to contact me with your stories of a terrible experiences with Off Lease Only (offleaseonly.com). I would love more witnesses willing to tell their terrible experiences stories about buying "STRUCTURALLY DAMAGED" cars from Offleaseonly that were not safe.
And to think they want to sue me for telling everyone about the crappy unsafe cares that they regularly sell. They are famous for "STRUCTURALLY DAMAGED" cars.

be careful what you get yourself into
I spent a week speaking with a sales person. I drove three hours with three other people to look at a camero. Only one of the three I looked at were in good shape. I wanted to purchase this car. After spending week a week of my time to drive up there they would not let me purchase a car without their financing. This would have been find if they hadn't run me know circles for an hour until my bank closed. They tried to do a hard close rather than just tell me they don't accept any funding unless it is with their financing. So I wasted a week of my time and 9 hours of time for the three people that came with me.

toyota corrola
I've bought 2010 corolla and everything is fine had it for 6 months now and it stil running fine. They did tell me it was in an accident, and I can see the front bumper was changed. Had my mechanic check it and I've done the routine maintenance. I guess more people write about bad experiences then anything else.
sold us a bmw disclosing accident - not frame damage
We bought a 2011 BMW 328i back in Feb 2014 at OffLeaseOnly West Palm Beach location. We spent countless hours reading through Carfax's and Descriptions to find a car with "minimum" damage as most of their cars have some type of accident. We ended up finding this BMW with low mileage and a clean Carfax but it was noted in their description it had an accident. After looking at the car we were told the car has some type of damage on the passenger side which required repainting that side of the car. We asked why Carfax did not note the damage and was told the accident was probably minor and the previous owner fixed it without notifying his insurance. We accepted that justification and purchased the car. Here we are about 19 months later and my wife decided she wants an upgrade so we went to Carmax to have the car appraised which to our surprise disclosed that the carfax noted as having frame damage at auction when offleaseonly purchased it. OfflaseOnly never disclosed the frame damage - only noted the car was in a previous accident which we were told was minor? We went back to offleaseonly and spoke to Jimmy - he said they had no idea what type of accident the car had even though it was disclosed at the auction per the Carfax report from Carmax? I told him had we known the car had frame damage we would of never purchased it. He said he will do his best to try to work it out with us and sent the car for an appraisal - came back with $12, 000.00 noting we put about 33, 000 miles on it and that justifies the lowered value ( the car averaged about 13.5K miles/year which is high per Jimmy). We said ok can you at least work with us on the price of another car - he said no they only have a profit margin of $500? Really! Buyers just beware of the cars you buy at OffLeaseOnly - a minor accident as in our case can end up being frame damage which will significantly devalue you car. Now we are stuck with a frame damaged car because no one will give fair market trade in value which I was told was around $14-15k with the year/mileage 328i. AGAIN BUYERS BEWARE WITH OFFLEASEONLY WHEN YOU SIGN THE ACCIDENT DISCLOSURE!

The Same thing happened to me!
never again
First off, we went there with an open mind, knowing that it would be an experience, got there at 330pm, with an idea of what we wanted- Test drove the cars and started with the paperwork.
super cool that they provide burgers, hotdogs and water on Saturdays, however, not so cool that we got there at 330 and ended up leaving at almost 1am! We were the only people at that place. The aggravation was completely over the top. While Most of the ememployees we dealt with were super nice (especially D.T, Thomas &. Jerod) I KNOW its worth the 10 hr wait.
Also, they sell cars "as is" SO do yourselves a favor and get an inspection prior to signing anything. On our way out at almost 1am I was giving a single key to my escalade... No keyless remote, I asked where it was and was told BY rodnny "it must not have one! Vehicles are sold as is", which I would have been fine with had I been told that the car only had A single key before I purchased it. In fact, we test drove it however the vehicle was running when it was given to us, the last thing I thought about was to look at the key! Same thing with the GPS, didn't realize it and it didn't have the flash card which is worth 300$ till after we signed the paperwork!) then at almost 1am I went to get in the car...well the thing would not start! I told the salesman (rodnny) and he said that "I didn't know how to start the car, I felt it was rude from him to make that remark as I'm not 15 yrs old, I'm an experience driver and has driven lots of cars, and don't need a manual to teach me how to put a key in the ignition and start a car!, did I mention we had been there since 330pm, empty stomach tired and it was pouring!) 2 days later I was there again to have the battery replaced!, turned out it was not me not knowing how to start the car, but a dead battery!
here's what put me over the top: my husband and I bought a bmw and a luxury SUV less than 30 days ago, I just took the SUV for an inspection and a routine oil change which turned out to be a 3 day long stay at the shop as the car HAS A BENT FRAME AND FRONT TIRE PUSHED BACK. Did they not think someone who's purchasing a 50k vehicle would want to know this? I'm sure they inspect vehicles prior to buying them. Or do they? This has cost me over 700$ and the frame is still bent! Yet I haven't even made my first monthly payment!
Very sneaky, best to go to carmax! They don't offer free lunch but I guarantee U won't be there for 10 hrs.
Also they have a 30 day warranty on all vehicles even if u don't get the extended warranty!
Consumer deserves better regardless whether we r spending 7k or 100k when purchasing a vehicle!
Thus far, worst experience ever. I hope I never ever ever have to go there again!
Oh, and after spending almost $100k in 2 cars, I would at lease expect to get enough gas to make it home! Both of the cars were completely empty.
Also my husbands bmw had to get new breaks less than 3 weeks after purchased!
And my escalade, aside from having a bent frame which the warranty won't cover due to prior accident, also had 2% oil life. Thanks "off lease only"!
Felix is excellent! very helpful sales person. Not only is he courteous, he went above and beyond his duty of command to get me in the car that i wanted.. I will definitely recommend him to others and will definitely be back to purchase another vehicle... thanks again Felix!
fraud and bait and switch
Let's call this the Bait and Santander switch, shall we?!
Firstly, if you want a devalued car with numerous accidents, structural damage, a Branded Title/Lemon... Or any number of problems that made them cheaper to buy at auction... Theoretically the cars that no one else wanted at auction, then head on over to OFF Lease Only.
Then, to be told the bank that has financed your last two cars at 6-8% won't finance your new purchase, but they did get you approved by none other than the most predatory auto lending bank possible, at 18%, that being Santander!
Please, by all means, go to Off Lease "only"
I say pay the "dealer fees" and go to a real dealership! Not this predatory, ### full, structurally damaged house of thieves!
BUYER BEWARE!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I purchased a car from these people in April 2019. They gave me a copy of the title to brush me off stating "I will receive the original title in the mail". Meanwhile, I can't register the vehicle without the title. I call every day just to get the run- around.
Whatever, you do -DO NOT purchase a car from these people it's been a nightmare!
bad cars and unprofessional seller
I decided to buy car from Off Lease Only. The company provided used cars and when I came to them, the agent showed many cars and he told me that all were in good condition. He lied and I bought severely damaged car, but it was seen. I drove for 4 days, and I already needed to repair it. The seller refused to repair it and told me that I damaged it. So I want to warn all people that the company is scam. Don’t waste time and money. And post comments.
damaged vehicle, no disclosure
I purchased a vehicle from OFF LEASE ONLY with CASH in January 2011. We were told the vehicle was a prior lease and only had one "owner". Fast forward two years later and I decided to get the car appraised. I was shocked to learn that not only was the car bought at an auction, it had been in a severe front end collision. I was also told that the information should have been disclosed to me prior to my purchase. It wasn't. Had it been, I simply would have bought a different car since I'd test driven about 10 that night.
When I contact Off Lease Only to ask for a copy of said document where this was disclosed, the manager MIKE, told me that they were NOT obligated to disclose the information and that they made every attempt to tell their customers if a car had prior damage. WHAT?! Not obligated? We'll see about that. According to Florida (and several other states) a dealership IS liable for disclosing information based on criteria set forth by each state.
DO NOT BUT A CAR FROM OFF LEASE ONLY! UNLESS YOU RUN A REAL CAR FAX REPORT, I'D GIVE THEM A PASS!

false car fax report
We bought a 2010 mercedes ml from the place and the sales person along with the finance person showed us a car fax report on this vehicle that showed it was clear with no accidents! We took the car to the real mercedes dealer for an overall inspection and they told us the car was from california and had been in three accidents. This off lease only dealer ship would not do anything about it and pulled a correct! Version and showed it to us. Not only would they not do anything about giving us a new car they said they would but it would cost us $7, 000.00 more and the payments would go up. They also said beside it doesnt decrease the value even though it had been in an accident "three times". Be very very very careful with this dealer they will show you a bad car fax to sell you the car.. Buyer beware! Not a good dealer at all...

wrecked car
After reading all the reviews my husband decided to go foward with the purchase of a 2011 Sienna Le . His way of thinking was " Oh if the bussiness Bereau is giving this company a A- I am not going to believe in what I am reading on the internet and bla bla bla.. We went to the toyota dealer and they want about $ 28 K versus 20K from offlease. So this morning I was suposed to go to the dealer leave them a deposit and take the car to get it check.THANK GOD! I got across a review of a guy saying the he bought a car with a clean carfax but 3 years later his wife was in a car acident and the body shop call them over to show him that the car was in a bad acident before. The guy on the body shop told him to check AUTOCHECK.COM instead of carfax and that's what I did. Sure enough the Sienna that I was getting ready to buy was NOT IN 1 BUT 3 ACIDENT ONE OF THEM BEING A SUBSTANTIAL ACIDENT AND 2 MINOR ACIDENT.I dont know why it does not show on the carfax and thjey did write *previous acident* on the ad just to cover their ###. what I did is when i put the VIN NUMBER autocheck says the Sienna had 9 records and carfax showed 1 recors. That's why i decided to pay to get the full history AN i THINK YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME!

lousy service
I bought a mazda 2007 cx7. I noticed a problem with it. Engine light came on then car would sputter at lights and wouldn't accelerate. Told manager, John about it the day (saturday) I signed for it. He said "don't worry about it" we'll take care of it and you have the extended warranty on it. I take it to the mazda dealer on the monday and they said the extended warranty company won't take it for 30 days as it is a pre existing condition! I can't get offleaseonly to return my calls and mazda won't do anything about it. How pathetic a situation. I now have a vehicle sitting cause I can't drive it.
buyers beware!!!
We purchased two vehichles less than a month ago from Off Lease Only. My husband had trouble with one of his tires after just a couple of weeks. He had to replace it with the spare that was on the truck because the proper tool was missing and he couldn't even get one from the Ford dealership. He's had the spare on there for almost a week and then today the spare tire blew out on him, completely ripping to shreds and causing pretty serious body damage to the vehicle. Thank God he is ok! Especially considering we found out the tires they put on there were 5 years older than the vehicle. Also today, I get my car back from my mechanic (who also happens to be my dad - so I know he's trustworthy) and my goodness... my brakes had less than 2mm of pad left on them! Yikes! And we were just about to travel through two states this weekend. I must say, Off Lease Only may have good prices, but they are not selling well inspected, quality vehicles... SHAME ON THEM!
terrible experience!
I bought a car at Off lease only at the Forth worth location.
Driving home was ok, I had to drive about 3 hours.
Thank god I didnt stop no where. Let me tell you why.
I drove up to the house and stopped in front of a garage, just to check the car out and get the stuff out. When I tried to drive it in to the garage the car wouldnt start! Come to find out the starter was dead. So 1st day we had to call towing. They took it to VW dealer and they told me they have to order a new starter from Germany! So i had to wait 2 weeks to get it back. Mind you I only had the car of total of 3 hours!
Then I get it back and drive it for 2 days I noticed the breaks were squeaking bad, so I had it check out.. and guess what! had to change that too.. Another $150.
Nothing but bad luck with this car so far. :(
Be careful!
2008 mazda tribute / 2009 nissan altima
On 07-29-11 I traded a 2003 Ford Escape for a 2008 Mazda Tribute. After several days I took the car for repairs. The Dealer agreed to pay for half of the work done. After making my first payment, the vehicle was taken to a Mazda Dealer for a quote on several issues. (Interior lighting, knocking noise on the right front and humming noise) The estimate was for almost $700.00 and the extended warranty I had purchased did not cover any of the repairs. While at the Mazda Dealer I asked if the front lights could be adjusted; that is when I was told that the car had been involved in a major car accident, and that the front end was severely damaged. I took the car to Tire's Plus for a second opinion and I was told the same thing. That same day I decided to text the general manager at the place where I had originally purchased the car and informed him I was going to report this to the BBB, FCA and contact an attorney. A few minutes later I received a phone call and agreed to meet again the next day. They offered to buy the car back from me and put me on another a car, (of similar value) out of courtesy. The next day, [protected]) I showed up, spent about three hrs and left with another car. (2009 Nissan Altima) Recently, I learned that the previous vehicle has not been paid off, the extended warranty has not been canceled, and the car I am currently driving is not being financed by the company, (or any other company) listed on my contract. Two weeks ago I received a phone call from one of the managers asking for $2, 100.00 down payment, (something that we did not discuss during the signing of the contract) and today I received yet another call from one of the financing reps asking for $3, 000.00 down in order to finalize the deal, which is now 1+ month old.
