On October 14, 2022, I purchased the BoAt Rockerz 255 Pro+ Bluetooth Headset from Flipkart. BoAt Rockerz 255 Pro+ Bluetooth Headset began overheating on October 14, 2023, so I went to Boat Service Center Lucknow on October 16, 2023, and the technician said it was an overheating issue and your headset was out of warranty; if you have an extended warranty, please contact the extended warranty provider.
So I called One Assist via Flipkart Customer Service, and she instructed me on how to file a complaint on the One Assist Application. At one point, she said, "Please mention "damage" when filing a complaint on the One Assist app."
The next day, an assist executive contacted me and told me that they would not provide any support for this because you stated damage in your complaint. Then I told her about the process and the reaction of the expert from Boat Service Center Lucknow, who said the product had an overheating problem. However, she stated that we are unable to assist you.
I returned to the Boat Service Center in Lucknow and stated my concerns. Again, the technician stated that it is a manufacturing issue that will be covered by One Assist.
Contacted Flipkart again, and the executive recommended to submit your concern with One assist, mentioning what the technician at the Boat Service Center informed you. Again, I filed a complaint with One Assist, but they rejected it and said they couldn't help you.
They dismissed my complaint without verifying the problem.
From the 16th of October 2023 until the 1st of December 2023, I followed up with Flipkart on this, but they did not provide a remedy.
Please do not acquire a policy from One Assist insurance company since they will offer you ridiculous explanations without confirming the product. Total waste of money and the worst claim service.
Flipkart and One Assist insurance both defraud customers by marketing extended warranties.
