I have several complaints about OpenSky. I have been a member for about a year now.
First of all, the "discount" prices that are supposed to be offered during their "sales" are far from worth it. I can almost almost always find the same items on Amazon for a much larger discount. Sometimes, the "discount" price is even higher than the suggested retail price.
Next, their return policy does not give me the confidence that they stand behind the products they sell. I ordered a pair of slippers for $50. When I received them, they immediately began to "shed" leaving black clumps of wool everywhere. Then, after wearing the slippers for a month (they were still shedding), the inside lining was wearing down. This was clearly a poorly made product. When I called to inquire about a refund (they accept returns within 60 days of purchase) they told me that since the slippers had been worn they could not take them back. I explained that my problem was that the slippers did not wear well, and how would I have discovered that unless I wore them. Customer service told me they only accept returns that are unused and in sellable condition.

Needless to say, I do not feel confident spending my money with them since they do not stand behind their products. Too bad, the site has a great concept that they have executed poorly.

Don't fall for these scam. They offer you a $5 for a referral and if he buys something you get $35 for purchase. I've done it but never received money. Stay away!

I started selling on opensky in December of last year and the sales were nice for the first few months but it all changed. They then introduced pay for advertising email campains and placements in promotions and it's not cheap. If you aren't a big seller who can afford 59, 00 for one email advertisment and up to 599.00 a month for advertising. My products were show in almost every email they sent out to all customers, but not any more. I no longer get sales and I never see my products advertised.
I am so sad this has happened. I thought this was a great place to sell on. They do have great people who make and sell awesome things. But if I don't make money I can't buy things let alone pay my bills. sad. Oh and the customer service is horrible to get a hold of by phone and they never returned my email. Oh and if you don't LOVE or SMILE or COMMENT on other peoples products several hours a day you can forget about getting any sales unless you pay a high fee for advertising on opensky to get seen!

This is a copy of an email I received today from OPENSKY.COM...Remember the name and DON"T EVER order from them! I placed an order 10 days ago for an item, and now, one week before Christmas, they have cancelled the order. On top of that, they want to refund less than I paid! What a terrible, inconsiderate, unprofessional thing to do. First off, they should never sell what they don't have, and second, even if they make a mistake, don't wait 10 days to say so! I get so tired of wasting my days trying to fix other people's mistakes. unfortunately, in this day and age, nobody cares about customer service and just doing the job well and correctly. It is my mission now to tell everyone about this terrible company, and if I prevent at least one person from buying from them, I have done my job! BBB will definitely hear from me!

I ordered two tops from Open Sky. One arrived, supposed an XL, which was really only a SM, but worse, the quality was horrible. The collar was only on the front of the top, not the back and the seams didn't match. What a piece of crap. I returned it, still haven't seen my refund, which was a month ago. I canceled the second top and was told to just return it and they would refund my money. Never happened. It finally arrived. Again, the WORST quality I have ever seen and two sizes smaller than marked. When I contacted customer service, I was told I wasn't eligible for a refund because it was a final sale. Really. This site terrible. I have blocked them.

DON'T BUY AND DON'T SELL AT OPENSKY
Yes, you are all correct! OpenSky is not only bad for buyers but also VERY BAD for sellers as well! They have very shady seller fee structure with their marketing fee way too high! They are stealing merchants' monies because of all these returns, negative bad reviews all over the internet they also steal its merchants' payments. They should be sanctioned and the CEO should go to jail!

Order number [protected]. I ordered one set of sheets and i cancelled the other set but i got charged for both sets. My account needs to be credited in the amount of $29.99 as item was CLEARLY cancelled! I was charged for an item i not only cancelled but did NOT recieve. I am very disappointed and upset, i will never shop here again.

I ordered a slouch bag on Aug 14. The shipping address was correct, to Patagonia AZ. I received a notice that the item was "delivered" to Houston TX. CS has been completely unresponsive. I want a replacement or a refund. Not next month, next week, but NOW.

I placed an order November 29, 2017 and it's December 12, 2017. I paid $26 and never received it. When I checked my tracking info it said it was delivered and received across the country. I can't speak to anyone and I'm getting frustrated! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

I placed an item in the cart, but it didn't take 50% off the item. A retailmenot.com had a coupon (no need to copy) for this discount. Why didn't it show up? I love this site and visit often to see if I had bonus points/money.

Great site, but disappointed now.
