account frozen
8/9/2016 - until last night everything was fine. I have been taking surveys for them since may with no problems, then this morning when I tried to log in I get a message "account frozen due to data concerns"? What does it means? What data?. I am the only user of the computer where I take the surveys. They provide an email address to get more info I did send message about 3 hrs ago... No response yet... Is this a scam or what?

I have been doing surveys for over a year now, and this is the first time I have had my account frozen. They told me it was frozen after I tried to cash out 11 dollars. I take surveys on several different sites and this is the first time I have ever been lock out of my account. After reading all the different people who have had this happen I believe there should be a class action lawsuit against opinion outpost for breach of contract. We all completed the surveys and were awarded the amount to our accounts so we are owed that money.
Just had same problem as so many others. Tried to cash out the $100 I've earned with the same BS results of data concerns. Long time member and first time I had this problem. I'm all for a class action! Count me in!
Wow! This is very upsetting. I joined Opinion Outpost in [protected] and did a lot of survey work for them and was rewarded. I recently started doing surveys for them again and the first time I redeemed points for an Amazon gift card for $10 I had no problems. So i continued to do surveys and in August of 2018 tried to redeem points again for $10 and this time my account has been frozen due to data concerns. I too have received no reply from customer service. Really disappointed because I have enjoyed working with them in the past.
Yes this is a scam The same scenario occurred to me as being "frozen out" with no reply from customer service - only one saying they would get back to me in 72 US hours which of course they did not I see they have numerous complaints about them on many sites and the address location does not appear to be correct when investigating on the BBB site

Same situation - I went to cash out $50 and in that moment my account was frozen due to "data concerns". Their customer service did email me back after a BBB complaint, and they stated they can't reopen it because they think it was fraudulently taken over. I'm DEFINITELY down for a class action lawsuit, but I have no idea how to get one started.

Horrible site, I was a member with opinion outpost for over a year and a half, then they froze my account. I had over 15.00 in it at the time, and had done close to 100.00 worth of surveys. I started having trouble with their surveys about June and kept telling them that the surveys were redirecting and not crediting. They credited me for about half of what I did, then canceled my account. There were no reasons to do so, I didn't have more than one account, I didn't do ssi surveys for anyone but them. I had done a few for another site, but hardly any compared to what wasn't crediting. If anyone has had experience with ssi surveys, you know that you cannot even start a survey if you had done it before. I kept getting an error screen AFTER I finished the survey saying I was either flagged for data concerns, or someone else had done this survey before, blah blah blah, but if I thought there was a mistake contact them. You bet I contacted them, not at first because i didn't know what was going on, then when it kept happening more and more I contacted them. I wasn't given credit for a 55 point survey=5.50, I wrote them and they said I only spent a few minutes on it. so I wrote them back and told them details of the survey I wouldn't know unless I did, so they had to give me the money. Within a day they froze my account. I am turning them into the BBB, and anyone else that has had these problems I urge you to do the same. They are on my black list, all they have shown is how they have tried to scam me and I'm sure they would do it to others.
Terrible. There are a lot of very bad reviews out there for this site, but I gave it a try anyway because it was free to sign up - no big loss if it was a scam. And, for the most part, it is a scam. Out of probably 200+ surveys I've taken, I only qualified for about 3 of them, and I'm a pretty average American. Often, you will spend at least 20 minutes or more answering questions to see if you qualify for the survey in question... only to find out an hour later you're not a good match. You'll lose hours out of your day trying to qualify for these surveys, even if you lie, they'll still find a way to get all kinds of statistical data about you, your life, etc. just trying to qualify for the survey...and you get nothing out of it except for lost time. In a few months I'v made about $9.50, and I take at least an hour before bedtime trying to qualify for a survey. I haven't been able to complete a survey for money from this site in several weeks, despite that. They will get your data, they will get their survey answers - by wasting your time and telling you that you don;t qualify after all! Sorry!

This is a legitimate survey site. If you do surveys online, don't waste your time with opinion outpost. What they have done to me is really hard to believe. I have been a member of them for over a year. Recently I have been having problems, don't know if it is with the or ssi who they go through, but a lot of my surveys are recording and I am not being credited. The only other survey site I do surveys for is toluna, so I am not doing the same surveys, I repeatedly told them of the errors, some I never even asked about. I have let at least 100 points (10.00) go. When I took a 55-point survey and wasn't credited I had it. They credited me after much complaining, and then a couple of days later I did about half a dozen surveys one night, 4 were not credited. By this time I was afraid if I complained too much my member ship would be canceled. Several others I talked to had this done, and I read about many others. I took a survey for gongos research for them and it seems that it didn't credit, I asked about it, and wondered why all the problems, I also mentioned several the night before did this, but I let it go. I did 3 more surveys and tried to cash out, bam - my membership was canceled, and the 14.80 I worked hard to make, was taken from me, I couldn't even cash out. I am contacting the bbb about them, also several other forums and survey police, but I don't think they'll pay me. If you do online surveys, save your time and don't join opinion outpost, they will make sure to scam you out of point earned.

This has just happened to me and I’ve been going back and forth with them hoping i can bully or scare them into allowing me to at least collect my money. I’m trying to figure out how to do that and thought maybe if i write to their clients, the ones we are filling out surveys for they might back down.
non-payment for services
I have completed online surveys with this company for many years. They do offer lots of paid surveys, and they do pay quickly. The problem is, there have been many occasions when I complete the survey, reach the end, "Thank you" page, and then am redirected back to the Opinion Outpost site to receive credit, only to be told the survey has been closed. This happened early this morning (about 12:20 am), with a $7.50 survey. I spent a lot of time completing this survey, answering the questions carefully and honestly, only to be told that I would not receive the payment I was promised.

But they tried to hide the surveys from my account so that I could not complete

I answered all questions in the survey but received this error page 15 times. I even tried refreshing the page and the same error page comes up. The survey is worth the 10 points so id really like to be able to complete it.

My account was frozen for no reason. I can't even access to write them a letter. Ive been a member of this panel for several years and can't understand why they would all of a sudden freeze my account for no reason. Not to mention that I was unable to claim the money that I earned
I want my account un frozen, I did nothing wrong and they won't let me back in my account and I have a balance. theres nothing to say I am among the thousands who have had there account frozen.
