Park Resorts the UK caravan site operator is quickly becoming known as shark resorts.

Mr Right has been looking into complaints about the company for past 2 years and has now set the ball rolling with a new re-vamped website and fofum wihcih can be found at www.park-resorts.info.

Since speaking with customer we have had complaints like:

"the bully boy antics continued"

"Miss sold my caravan and lied to "

" they sold my caravan without my permission"

" My wife collapsed and the Ambulance was called and the manager was disgusted with us for letting the ambulance come on site"

The company is quite simply a disgrace in the way in which it operates and it is our goal to ensure that we spread the word of what the company is up to. So visit us today leave comments on the blog and join the forum.

Let's join together to make one singular voice that can be heard.

I have an experience where I am sure they used a tampered CTB as I could not give them one. Has anyone else had experience of this?

i spent £24, 000 on a caravan at park resorts i.o.w i was sold the idea that it would pay for its self if i rented it out through them i was on incopacity benefit and a year later they asked me for £5, 000 ground rent after telling me it would earn at least 7, 000 in a year, it did not pay for it self as promised, they bought the caravan back one year after purchase for £800.00 i would love to get my savings back but there is no funding to help me go through court, i lost the lot. caz

Park Resorts are top rate scam artists and on our park they sell static caravans and no sooner is the money in the bank than they start to bully the unsuspecting customer who then is forced to sell back to the park at a fraction of the original cost and they do this because they are limited for space to site any new static caravans.

Wash and repeat and make £10, 000 each time.

This company is not known as sharks resorts for no reason

We recently sold our 2003 static back to park resorts at Eyemouth, in Scotland as my husband's health was deteriorating rapidly and we were not able to use it very often. Our fees are about £3000 and this was proving to be a very expensive luxury. They agreed to buy it back from us and said as it was very old it was only worth £1600. We agreed to this figure and they said they would probably sell it to a dealer to be removed from their site. Having had to wait for over four weeks for our money to be transferred into our bank account, I was then horrified to see my caravan being advertised on their website still on its plots, at a figure of £13, 500. This has now been increased to £15000. After sending a very, very angry email to them and demanding a explanation I got a letter back saying I misunderstood the situation, and the new selling price included next year's fees, insurance, siting etc. God help the poor person who buys this caravan at that price and tries to sell it to them in a couple of years time. They will get nothing back from them. They are indeed a load of sharks and I will never visit any of their holiday sites again.

Oaklands what was your experience with Park Resort Thorness Bay? I too am at Thorness and have a very hard time with these people and their mis-selling of their caravans. I just can't believe they have gotten away with it this long as some of these comments are from as far back as 2008. I just wish I had found this site before I bought. I was tricked by the saleslady saying that I could not cancel after I had signed the contract (which was a lie) I must have been crazy to fall for their lies. The saleslady "seemed" so lovely" As soon as her lies were coming back to bite her in backside she had left!

I had a caravan on shurlandale parkresort for 5 years and I owned it no finance, we had some money problems and was finding it hard to pay the ground rent because we was owed money due to my partner being self employed, we made arrangements with the park to pay some money before Christmas as we was due to be paid from a job but they never paid up so we was unable to pay the site how every we tried to contact them and as it was christmas there was no one there and after Christmas and left a message but no one called back witch has happened a number of times. We went to the park to find they have sold our caravan without telling us and all our personal belongings and kids bikes etc have gone, I'm so upset as we don't have holidays because of my partner being self employed and my children are upset that they have lost their stuff, we spent lots of money on updating it because we didn't want a new van. When we asked where is our stuff they said gone when we asked who they sold it to they said they can't tell us that is this fare how can they get away with this surely it's theft entering without permission solen goods where do we stand what's our rights can anyone tell me please

Last September South Lakeland Parks were taken over by Electra Partners who promptly installed Park Resorts to manage the 9 sites. Within 3 months Park Resorts had managed to upset virtually every owner - if you want to read about some of the Park Resorts actions then have a read of the blog -http://sharkresorts.blogspot.de/

The owners have now got themselves organised and are funding possible legal action against Park Resorts. If you would like advice and guidance from owners who are prepared to stand up to Park Resorts then join the Park Resorts Owners Group forum -

http://parkresortsownersgroup.freeforums.org/

The group is open to anybody who owns a holiday home on a site owned or run by Park Resorts.

I spoke quite a few people on the Park Resorts sites along the Northumbrian Coast. One of them (a family with three kids, so ALOT of stuff) on Sandy Bay near Newbiggin, received a letter earlier this year stating that all second sheds be removed by a certain date, no plastic sheds at all on site, nothing is to be stored underneath the caravan and that "unauthorised" planters or "non active" planters be removed or they will be taken anyways. Cut a long story short, the only reason these letters went out is because the big bosses were doing an inspection of the site so the site manager wanted it to appear presentable to them. I know Sandy Bay is extending at some point in the future, so who knows if things improve (it's going to look more like a knock off Butlins by 2016). Some toe curling reports about PR from Whitley Bay to Cresswell Towers and all in between.

I'm so glad we spoke to owners on different sites before we purchased a Van, luckily on a family run site instead, avoid PR like the plague.

Park resorts staff should all be in a mental hospital, there is no way a normal person would treat their customers the way they do, lies misrepresentation ripping off everyone
If you are selling back to them GOD HELP YOU cos you will be treated like a complete fool
And you WILL BE RIPPED OFF AND CHEATED OUT OF YOUR CARAVAN AND YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT TILL DOOMSDAY FOR PAYMENT. IF YOU HAD AN AGREED PRICE FOR IT THEN BEWARE THEY WILL FIND A REASON NOT TO STICK TO IT AND ONCE AGAIN YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF...SO get your brain in gear DONT buy anything from park resorts
YOU WILL regret it within a month they do not keep their promises they are liars through and through. So if you do have anything between your ears (( yes we obviously didn't )
We have lost £30.000 over only 4 years.
We.could have had a lot of holidays abroad for that kind of money not to mention the
£4.500 it costs to run a caravan each year there is only two of us and we could have had
About 38 holidays abroad in those 4 years.SO once more don't do it it's a bad idea
It's frustrating and spoils your time at the van and your bank account will die a nasty death very quickly. REMEMBER THESE WORDS...LIAR'S CHEATS RIP OFF MERCHANTS
BULLIES

OK COME ON if you really have a complaint and not just want to let off steam do as I havejust done, send your complaint to WATCHDOG AT BBC this very likely to be the best
way of getting something done about the disgusting way shark resorts operate, the more of us that complain the sooner they might be stopped or encouraged to do much much better, WE are at the moment having to sell our van due old age and financial restraints, its a lot of every year for folk that are retired, Face it, pensions don't go far and can't replace the monies thrown away to ( shark inc ) we are not holding our breath with regard
to getting any find of fairish deal if any deal, we are at present experiencing the delaying tactics as you'll already be aware of, things like there is a problem with the van. (there isn't) we're waiting for head office, its an old van, even though its a top of the range willerby vogue, when you need to speak to the person dealing with the sale they're off sick, in a meeting, on a holiday, its their day off, he's got diahorrea, (verbal) that's just the tip of the iceberg with these (was gonna type PEOPLE) but they aren't people not real
people as we all know, SO COME ON (GO WATCHDOG GO) get yourself heard

I also wanted to sell my caravan which I bought only 2 years ago from park resorts at Skegness for £13, , 000 we needed to sell it due to money problems we found ourselves in we asked for a minimal buy back of £5, 000, they just laughed under their breath and said we can give you £1, 500 that's all its worth to us but they could offer us a trade in price of £10, 000 if we were to buy another caravan from them, but we fell into that trap before with the one we have as they gave us £4, 000 for the caravan we traded in to get the one we have just now and while walking around the site the week later parks resort had it up for sale for £8, 950 which had a sold sign on it. with the Caravan we are trying to sell just now I wrote to the CEO of Park resorts and he didn't want to know and if we sell it privately they want 15% plus site fees from the new owners which they said will cost the new owners (if we can sell it) £11, 000 why should I pay them for selling my own caravan its such a rip off and the law is on their side worst mistake we ever done was buying a caravan from them I am thinking of just selling it for £3, 000 just so they don't get so much money, I think they have had more than enough from me.

We owned a 2008 Cosalt Torino. On the 24th of November we decided to sell up. We approached the office who said they will offer me £5, 000, but on inspection they did not want the van, saying it was too old to site, yet they had 1995 vans on the showground for sale. They also refused to refund my 2015 site fees which were £3, 060. My son rang the office, and as a gesture of good will they offered me £2, 000 so they could SCRAP my van. On the 11th of December 2014 they put my van up for sale for £25, 000. Not a bad little earner is it.Please take my advice and keep away from Shark Resorts as they take your eyes out, and then they come back for the sockets.

Wow what a bunch of baby whinners you all are ! You clearly didnt do your research before you bought your caravans or read the contract before you signed it! Remember, it is a luxury to own these things and most of you people can not afford them on your low ncomes! So who do you blaim? You blaim the compamy of course! Don't get me wrong, I don't believe that Park Resorts are totally innocent... I should know, I have worked for them long enough! The amount of people that lose their caravans because the owners can not afford them is unbelievable. So the lesson is boys and girls is do your homework first!

Hi my parents own a caravan at camber sands and have had numerous problems with them eg taking more out of their bank account than they should be. Their response...oh that has gone up and so has that but nothing is ever put in writting or any notice given. They appear to just make up the figures. And what is worse they actually laugh at you when you try to have a rational discussion with them to discuss the figures and have said well if you don't shut up we'll chuck you off the park! I have never known a company like it. My parents want to move their caravan to haven but dont know if they are just as bad. Also they ask for the first years site fees in one lump sum which isnt an option as shark resorts are fleecing them constantly.

In response to sminicooper, well there you go . That comment goes some way in showing the mindset of park resorts staff. Contracts exist for a reason. I am sure that some people
do over commit themselves financially but many believe the sales person, and the figures in a contract and then calculate if they can afford it or not. Of course people expect prices to go up but not to the extent to whick shark resorts claim and also if there is going to be a change to the contract then obviously this should be put in writing. It shoud be clear so that the customer can then make an informed decision if they want to pay it or not.

Do Not Buy From Skipsea Sands Its Terrible They Are A Bunch Of Rip Off Merchants There Only Interested When Your Waving The Cash In Front Of There Faces But After That They Dont Give A S***t We Bought A Caravan There With Heating Panels And On Hand Over Day The Day Thats So Joyful To Them Of Course, We Put The Heating On And The Electric Trips And Takes 20 Mins For The Security To Put It Back On Again So The Next Day I Go To The Sales Office To Find The Manager Andy And When I Get To The Door He Runs Out To The Back Because Hes Scared Of Being Confronted That He Sold A Caravan For £21, 000 That Has Heating But Doesnt Work And I Was Furious The Caravan Was Not Fit For Purpose And I Wish To Get Out Of It But I Fell Into There Sceamy Trap And Do The Renting Thing And So I Went Home And Came Back 2 Weeks Later To Find That It Still Not Working I Bought The Caravan For The Heating Untill I Find Out That The Fuse In The Electric Box Outside Is Not Big Enough To Run The Power Of The Caravan!
Im Begging You Do Not Get A Caravan From There And Dont Fall Into There Trap There Only Bothered If You Buy A £40, 000 Caravan But Dont Do It

My wife and I moved from Tattershall Lakes Country Park due to bullying tactics from Away Resorts. If you complained, you were getting evicted. So then we decided to move our caravan for free to Park Resorts. We had the Alas Concept and we were quite content to move our caravan to this site. Well. they talked us into buying a Willerby Avonmore 2014 model, because they said we couldn't afford to upgrade to a Willerby Vogue at that stage as it would have cost us £58, 000. at £578 per month. This was a 2008 model. The bank would not let us buy it as it was too old. We have since found out that our caravan was advertised on gumtree for £36, 000 and the Vogue was being sold for £42, 000. We eventually paid £42, 000 for our caravan. Surely, we must have grounds for mis-selling. Can anyone please advise us what to do.

Apparently, Park Resorts have put electricity prices up by 30% and now the omsbudman is involved as it was an illegal act. Not really sure whats going on? But a lot of unhappy people involved. I personally have have no qualms about this as my Electric bill was cut by £100+. Meter readings were incorrect! Wonder if we would have got a rebate if we hadn't contested it!

Hey Guys!Am so happy I got mine from Mike Fisher. My blank ATM card can withdraw $2, 000 daily. I got it from Her last week and now I have $14, 000 for free. The blank ATM withdraws money from any ATM machines and there is no name on it, it is not traceable and now i have money for business and enough money for me and my family to live on .I am really happy i met Mike Fisher because i met two people before her and they took my money not knowing that they were scams. But am happy now. Mike Fisher sent the card through DHL and i got it in two days. Get your own card from her now she is not like other scammer pretending to have the ATM card, She is giving it out for free to help people even if it is illegal but it helps a lot and no one ever gets caught. im grateful to Mike Fisher because she changed my story all of a sudden . The card works in all countries except, Mali and Nigeria. Mike Fisher email address is atmhacker243@yahoo.com
