What a nightmare!
What a nightmare! I was paired with Peerless Fence by way of *** big mistake. They had to come out several times and it took several months of me contacting everyone under the sun for them to complete the small job of a residential fence. Still not happy with the job, literally got tired of their back and forth on my property. will not use either company again.

Questionable work and does not hold up their warranty. I have a fence that is 6 months old and a screw is already coming out of a gate and we have several rotten rails. Peerless was the highest quote I received and I chose them for the free steel posts included with my order, which was more than likely just a marketing/sales ploy to get my business. Would not recommend at all.

Service and terrible wood used for our fence project. We signed a contract in September for a $6,000 pressure-treated wood fence with two gates. Initially, we were informed that the start of the work would be delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which we understood. However, we expected to receive updates from the company over time. Unfortunately, no one contacted us proactively, and we found ourselves repeatedly calling to obtain information and to schedule the installation date. The installation was eventually set for December . The fence was put up, but the gates were missing. The on-site contractors claimed ignorance of the gates being part of the project, leaving our yard exposed at the alley and instructed us to get in touch with the office.
After several rounds of communication with various representatives from the Peerless office, they arranged for someone to come out in January to install the two missing gates, a whole month after the fence was installed. On that day, only one gate was put in place, and once again, we were informed by a different set of contractors that they were unaware of the need for a second gate. We were advised to make yet another call to the office. This led to a series of emails and phone calls as we tried to understand how such an oversight could occur twice. We simply wanted them to finish the job. When we couldn't get a response to address the issue, we asked for a refund for the gate that was never installed.
Fast forward to April , just four months after the original installation, and the fence began to show signs of wobbling, buckling, splitting, and peeling in various places. Nails were also starting to protrude. This was not the quality we expected for a fence that cost nearly $6,000. We reached out to Peerless again via phone and email, only to be met with delays in receiving a response. Ultimately, no repairs were made. One representative apologized and promised to do everything possible to resolve our concerns, but after being transferred to another person, purportedly a manager, we were told that the wood was indeed quality, pressure-treated material and that they planned to do little more than patch a few areas before abruptly ending the call. The quality of the work does not reflect the price we paid, and we are left wanting either a complete redo or a refund. We sincerely hoped that Peerless would demonstrate some level of customer appreciation. It is disappointing to spend so much and receive such poor treatment.

I found the workers to be wonderful and helpful. Wish I could say the same for office personnel. Not only did they lose my check but had the nerve to send me a copy of it with office writing on it. I refused to cancel that check and give them another one. instead I told them to find it. I was also told I was not the only one going through this hassle in regards to final payment. Then I get a letter threating me a mechanics lean toward my property. Again I told them.. find the check that you sent me a copy of that I originally sent you!

1) Requested fence repair. Was told 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, they billed my credit card and said another 4 weeks.2) Never returned calls.3) When they did come out, the workmen (who did excellent work) replaced the broken posts but was given the wrong fence section (their admitted mistake). When questioned, they wanted an additional $300 to send the workmen back to finish the job.

I recently moved into my new house with my dog Evie. In our previous apartment we did not have a backyard that she could run around in. We now have a backyard where she can run around to her hearts content due to Peerless Fence. My whole experience with this company was great and my fence looks beautiful!

The installers arrived on time and the entire service was quick, clean and professional. We were allowed to make changes to the original product design on the day of installation with no problem. Our fence is sturdy and looks great and is possibly the envy of the neighborhood. This company receives our highest rating and referral of friends.

On November 15th I requested that Home depot to reinstall my old fence. I had no problem with them sending a respectful contractor out to my house to get the job done. Too my dismay dealing with Peerless Fence group is another story of horror. I waited to for the installation for month which should have taken two weeks. They came out on the day Illinois had a winter snowstorm taken out the old fence and then leaving me fenceless for four days. They came back made more wholes in the ground and attach on pole to my house which I have never seen done in my life. I will never use or referral this company to no one on earth.

I purchased a fence from Peerless Fence several months ago. After a couple of months it developed black mold. I have contact them several times and I keep getting the run around that somebody will take care of that. I am still waiting for them to contact me. I have call them several times and their phone keeps disconnecting me after the machine keeps me waiting for several minutes. I am very disappointed on them and their customer service. I am thinking about suing them as soon as the Covid19 situation gets safer.

I was assigned peerless fence for my project
I was assigned peerless fence for my project. Work started June 15 and Completed June 16. Later that day i heard a noise, it was a piece of wood that wasnt nailed in properly. Now i have a gap in a brand new fence that they just finished installing earlier that evening. Of course i needed to check the whole project only to find more lose planks, uneven cuts etc. I called the next day and got a link to upload photos and was told a supervisor will reach out shortly.Still waiting! They only needed one person with a nail gun and 5 even planks to correct the problem, It didnt happen months ago, i called the next day. How is this so difficult?

I purchased a vinyl fence from Peerless Fence, paid $6,416.95. Fence was installed 11 and is already falling apart! The panel is separating from the post and top rail and they are not cooperating in repairing the damage and standing behind their warranty. It took numerous calls over various dates to get a hold of someone as no one would return my call or email submitted on their website. I finally spoke to Scott Fabiani on 6/17 and still dealing with a damaged fence and no idea if or when they are going to repair the installation damages. They were great when wanting to collect the money but not when it comes to standing behind their product, install or services.

I ordered a fence from Peerless Fencing and they put the fence up and the gates, but the locks that they put on my gates are cheap and anyone can break into the locks. That is not what me and the salesman talked about. I continue to contact the company in reference to the locks and they continue to give me the run around about the locks and the bad thing is the locks doesn't even work to lock and secure my property. If I would have known this was a company that do not care about people that spends money at their company. I would have never, ever went with this company. Also, I had new concrete put in the front of my house and guess what? They broke my concrete and one of the salesman stated they did not do that. That's a *** lie. This business apparently has no need to signup new customers. I could not get anyone to help me get an estimate for a new fence. I contacted Peerless in late April/early May. I called to get an estimate. My information was taken and I was told a salesperson would call me to set up an appointment. Shortly after my phone call I received an email instructing me to send a copy of my survey. I complied and sent in the survey. I waited several weeks and no one from the company contacted me. I called again last week. The person I spoke with said she found my information in the database. She explained no one had called me because the salesman who handles my area had been out sick. She said she was setting me up with a different salesman to come to my home at 9:30 am on May 27th. She said I would receive a follow-up email confirming my appointment and that I should send in a copy of the survey prior to the appointment. I explained that I had already sent in the survey a few weeks earlier. I did not receive an email confirmation regarding my May 27th appointment. Furthermore, I called Peerless on May 26th to explain that I had an appointment the next day but did not get an email confirmation so I wanted to confirm someone was coming from Peerless the next day. I could only get a recording so I left the message and asked that someone please call me back to confirm a salesperson was coming the next day. No one called me back and a salesperson did not show up today at 9:30 even though I specifically stayed home to wait for them. Do not use this company. They are awful.

Efforts to resolve this led nowhere, prompting us to seek a refund for the uninstalled gate. By April , the fence began to wobble, buckle, split, and nails started to pop out, indicating poor quality despite the high cost. Attempts to address these issues with the company were met with excuses and inadequate solutions, leaving us dissatisfied with the service and product.

I did not hear from him ever again. - April 9, asked credit card company to step in for the inactivity. - Email from Marco Gallegos April 13th asking if I want to "proceed with the cancellation" or trust them to install. I chose to continue with the cancellation. - With no charge back to my credit card, Gallegos deflected me to Dean Britton in accounting May 21. - Britton said the charge back is in someone else's control. No refund has been charged back to my credit card as of June 9.

I have made repeated calls over the past two mos to get this resolved, and although the agent at the main number answers my calls, she continues to refer me to the project manager: "Clayton" who apparently handles the cancellations. Despite calling Clayton multiple times, and leaving voice messages along with sending two e-mail requests, he has yet to respond. The terms of the contract allow for cancellation, but Peerless has failed to meet the terms of the contract.

Followed up with my salesmal Greg Hickey on 01/04 and was told that the signed contracts had not been received. Resent the signed contract on the same day. Follow up on 01/14 to ensure documents were received - left msg. Follow up on 01/15 no answer - left msg, called Peerless office and spoke to Peggy who told me they need 50% down, paied $1,250.00 same day. Left messages roughly weekly since then with the salesman and at the office leaving cell number, work number and e-mail and have never received any follow up of any kind.

May , we paid this company $3500. For the replacement of a fence. Tried on several occasions to contact them by cell, text, email and regular mail. Calls are not returned. I do not want to deal with an irresponsible company as this. Concern is after the job is done and there may be a problem I will not be able to get in touch with them. I bought a house in March that had a privacy fence installed by Ifft/Peerless by previous owners. Within the first 2 weeks, a portion of the fence blew in and needed repaired. I was unable to get the company to come out and fix it then so I had a friend repair it. In August , another part of the fence blew in and was not repairable. The top portion of the fence needs replaced. I have contacted the company multiple times and have had no responses to getting a quote to repair or how to replace the broken piece. I have filled out an online repair request (Oct 2020), and after not having any contact from the company, made a phone call to find out we were 12 weeks out. Fall/winter came and went and still nothing. I called in Feb and was told that a manager or owner would be contacting me themselves to fix this issue. I never heard from them. I called again this week and no one would even pick up the phone. I want the part of my fence fixed so I don't have a missing panel anymore.

I hired peerless fencing company to install a fence for my backyard. During the installation the installer hit an electrical wire and he did not tell me. After he left that day, I tried to get into my garage and I could not get into the garage. The next day the installers came back to finish the installation of the fence so I mentioned to the installer. I could not get into my garage and asked him if he cut a wire? He laughed and said yes, I did hit a wire. He then asked me if I had someone to fix it? I said no. Then I spoke with his supervisor and he came out to try to repair the wire himself but he could not. The supervisor said, I would have to call an electrician to fix the wire and they were not responsible for hitting a wire. I asked him if I could speak with his supervisor and he gave me his name and number ***. I spoke with *** that day and he assured me that he would fix the wire. I spoke with *** on Tuesday and he said that he would call me back. He never called back.

On October I signed a contract with Peerless Fence through Home Depot for a fence installation. They gave me an approximate date of installation for my fence to be on 3rd week of November. Then I received an email saying that it was going to happen on the 30th of November. I was ok with that. They did not show up and I lost a work day. I called sales rep several times and did not answer. I left several voicemails until I left an energetic one the sales rep just texted me back saying that it had changed to 12/7 and that his work was basically done and I needed to contact Michelle Hrody who works in the company. I was very unhappy. He was very available before we signed the contract. Now they had my money so they did not care. Michelle informed me that my installation was to be scheduled on 12/17. In the meantime I have already made 2 payments on a fence that still did not exist. Finally after many weeks of waiting fence was installed on the 17th. When they finished it was dark and I could not check the job they performed. When I finally got a chance to do it I noticed that the poles did not have enough cement. There was a huge gap between cement and surface of the grass. I emailed Michelle about the issue. She asked for pictures and I sent them on 1/5. On 1/12 I asked for an update and have not heard back since then. Meanwhile I have made 3 payments on an unfinished service.
