The Pei Wei restaurant was almost empty at 11:00 am-not busy at all. Three in our party ordered a meal. One person in the party received their order in a timely manner. The server offered no explanation as to why the other two orders did not arrive nor did she express that we could expect it soon. We waited for 30 minutes after the first meal arrived before...

I ordered pei Wei takeout & tried eating a cauliflower power bowl yesterday for lunch & was very disappointed in the quality. It was overloaded with big cuts of scallions & too much ginger sauce. This was the 2nd time I've eaten here within the last 6 months (took a break since my 1st negative experience) that I've been disappointed in the food. I'm not so sure I'll go back which is sad as I used to love Pei Wei. 😔I spent $10.50 for a terrible lunch I had no choice to try and eat though wasted most and was hungry afterwards. Unfortunately due to limited lunch time I didn't have time to bring it back and complain in person nor had time nor extra money to spend elsewhere to eat. Shayna
pick up food order
I have always been a fan of Pei Wei but tonight changed that. Me and my fiancé were excited about the 40% off promo. I placed the order at 7:20 Pm And order said it would be ready at 7:33 pm. My fiancé went in at 7:30pm to pick up the order. After several minutes of not being acknowledged, he was told it wasn't ready yet. He watched several people come in and their orders weren't ready either. Total chaos. He even witnessed an employee running after someone with something they forgot to put in his bag. At 7:45 pm he asked again (second time) and he was told that they were waiting on the sushi. He left the restaurant at 8:00 Pm after being ignored for another 15 mins. He took a. Picture and sent it to Me. At least 10 bags were sitting on the counter. One of them could have been his. He said employees were rude and things were hectic. We went to chipotle instead and had no issues. Very disappointed with Pei Wei :(
inappropriate behavior of general manager alex at mission bay location
I am a Pei Wei fan for a while but I would like to inform the General Manager Alex at Mission Bay location, address 9982 Glades Rd, Suite G5, Boca Raton, FL 33434 had an inappropriate and scary behavior against me and my wife.
As he was serving the meals I asked him for a spoon and a knife. He already looked at me like I was asking something very demanding or unbearable but sorry there was no spoon or knife at the little kitchen where the drinks are... he did come back with spoons and was already very nervous about that. But no knife... so I got back to the little kitchen to see if there was one available but no nothing so I ask him again for a knife. He looked at me and begin to speak very loud and for no reason very upset of what I was asking pretending I did not ask for a knife properly which I did not...
So he did gave me a knife but begin to say I was very demanding and condescending. I replied I was just asking for a spoon and a knife... but then he was staring at me and begin to threaten me and at the end ask me to leave the store otherwise he will call the police.
We decided to leave and to bring our food to go.
Seriously if a General Manager behave like this with their customers what kind of example he can give to their employees ? This is a very bad image for Pei Wei restaurants.
What is for sure I won't go anymore at this location.

This is my fourth request to have my account credited when your cashier at your Store at the Loop, Hunter's Creek on John Young Parkway & Osceola Parkway, Orlando, Florida while standing at the "order here" counter she sent my order for pickup to your Sand Lake Crossing, at Dr. Phillips, which is my frequently used location. I requested to see a Manager, Sean, I believe was his name who made contact with your other location to cancel the order as it was a Pei Wei mistake! I purchased the order from your John Young Store location and was still charged by your Dr. Phillips location, $50.27! I am requesting that you please refund this amount to my bank Suntrust 2039. I am a frequent Rewards customer:- Shirleyann La Fond, [protected]. This is the second time that my order was mishandled by your Company and when they tried to make good I complimented your Server Danika, to which you acknowledged.

Parked at 8 o'clock to eat inside. Outside light indicating they're open is not on. Several people working - restaurant is not busy, yet it took a couple minutes to figure out who's going to wait on me. There is no music playing in the restaurant like they used to always have. It's 8:15 & they're already cleaning & acting like there's no one in the restaurant/making all kinds of noise. Seats in booths are well past needing to be repaired or replaced. Pretty apparent they don't care about my business at this location.

Wet with my family to dine in 7:30 pm tables in one side were tilted already if they were closing, place dirty i had to clean my own table, cashier nice but never ask me if i wanted vegetables in the kids meal, i know you want to ipsell but at least ask, i got the small lettuce wrap when i paid for the large one, guy that brought the food was so useless and did not care at all about custmers or nothing, custmers were complaining about cold soup, there was a couple so upset thet asked for their money back and left. Defenetly not coming back to pei wei aventura.

I love Pei Wei. I haven't been in a while & don't know if i'll go back, at least at the Frisco, Texas location. Tables dirty, not cleared, food ALL OVER the floor, out of iced tea, straws, napkins, & drink lids, restroom filthy & out of toilet paper, had napkins on a shelf to use instead. My sister's order was wrong, but at this point, we just wanted to get out. Staff was rude. It was an awful dining experience all the way around!

I made my order online so that I could pick up and go. When I arrived to pick it up the service was great. Luckily I looked in the bad and saw that my order was plain fried rice and not the quinoa that I ordered. I brought my order back in and informed them this was wrong and the service immediately plummeted. The server took my bag to the cook and then told her that it was supposed to be quinoa fried with extra onions and extra spinach instead of fried rice. She then said to the server well how does she want the quinoa its fried rice? She then looked over and made eye contact with me and then said no problem. The server just walked away and I sat down and waited. While they prepared my order both cooks made comments and faces at one another as if I did something wrong. May I ask why they have this on the menu as an option if it causes such a problem? I paid for what I wanted! I will not return to this facility. I was late to work because they had to re prep my meal that they got wrong. I would also like to add i ordered the exact same thing yesterday but just had steak and the order and service was great and the food even better what changed? Never returning
teriyaki chicken
I ordered the vegetarian version of the Teriyaki chicken. I then waited an entire hour for my food. When i got home, i opened up the container and i saw that it was literally just chicken and rice. they even took he vegetables out, just leaving chicken and rice. this was definitely not vegetarian. i had to throw it away and it was a complete waste of money.

Hi my name is Lamont Davis and it was my first time going to your restaurant Pei Wei at the uptown location I arrived a little bit before 3:30pm on 09/15/2018 and placed my order for sesame seed chicken with chicken fried rice Only and as I was waiting patently there was individuals who receive their food before me who was in the back of me in the line and so I waited patiently until 4:45 PM and asked about my food and a female staff member said we are working on it and I asked her do I need to get a refund or will I be the next person to receive my food I have been waiting for the female staff Member gave me my money back with an attitude and told me to leave I felt very unwelcome at your establishment and I felt public humiliation as multiple individuals looked at me in a unworthy manner because of the Incident that took place I was the only African American in the restaurant at the time of the incident and other individuals of different culture was put in front of me for service and when I spoke up to ask when will my food is going to be given to me as now I was waiting for over an hour to receive service I was miss-treated by Pie Wei staff I would like to hear back from management as soon as possible to resolve this incident if not I will seek higher assistance with in the city of Albuquerque to discuss a discrimination investigation into this matter.
You were not there and did not hear some of the remarks toward me that was said under the staff members breath pertaining to my race as the money was given to me so I would appreciate it if you would ask for more information before you comment Sir. I hope you have a blessed day

app ordering
i was trying to take advantage of the bogo sale on your rice bowls. i downloaded the app and proceeded to order. unclear as how to do it i fumble my way through your app and order 2 veggie only dishes, not my intent, when i was trying to order 2 chicken dishes. i get the orders back to my office to find out they are wrong. call your establishment that i picked up the order form and they say the mistake is not on their end so there is nothing they can do. so i replace my order and im trying to be more thorough as to not cause a mistake. the only chicken you guys have as an option is fresh cut breast so i pick that, thinking its the one that comes when you order it in the store, come to find out it is a sad bland version of chicken that i dont want to eat. so now im stuck with not 1 but 2 orders that have been botched. i did not get the lunch i wanted after 2 trips to your restaurant and was stuck paying twice for food im not going to eat. All because your app is poorly thought out and for some reason you dont serve the same chicken on your app as you did in your store. i imagine i wont be going back to order through your app anymore and just might not eat at your restaurants for the crap customer service i have been extended.

Went to the Pei Wei on Collins St. In Arlington TX.
I love the food and have gone often since moving to Texas. But ... on September 5, 2018,
1. The hours say open at 11am but they didn't open the doors until 11:05am. Thankfully I was 2nd in line and there was a line outside.
2. No scanner available to use my cell phone to gain points from my Pei Wei app. Had to tell out my cell phone number in public to get my points.
3. Waited 35 minutes for my food that never came. The other person in my group had already eaten. Her food arrived in about 10 minutes.
4. Waited another 5 minutes for my money to be returned to my card because no one knew how to do that function on the register.
mongolian beef
So I typically purchase mangolian beef small, no mushrooms extra scallions with lettuce cups in your Wellington Florida location near Wellington mall and I'm super satisfied . Today I ordered the same at your Boynton Beach fl location off Congress and it was awful. Presentation was trash and when I called the manager John didn't seem interested...the amount of food was insulting and not what I usually receive for that price. John said he saw the bag before he handed it to me and to think a manager thought it was ok is concerning. Ruined my lunch and I'm not going back.

Had to give a 1 star. Would have given Zero stars if it let me..This place has gone down the drain! They only have 2 ½ stars and I now understand why. I used to come here frequently and always loved this place so I ordered the sesame chicken that I normally used to get and have never been sicker from eating out somewhere! I was up the entire night and sick into the next day. I went in today to speak to the manager (Chad) about how sick the food made me, because I felt the place should be aware when their food is making their paying customers sick. All I have to say is I have never been treated with more disrespect. He was the most unprofessional, rudest individual I have encountered in quite a while. He made me feel like I was in the wrong; even thinking their food could make me sick, and made me feel stupid. Chad, as a manager you should treat your customers with respect no matter what your opinion is. When I told him that I had gotten sick. He did offer to remake the food for me. But why in the world would I eat there if I just gotten sick? He didn't even say, oh I'm really sorry is there anything else we can do? He didn't even say thank you for letting us know. He just stood there. No customer service at all! Why would I waste my time to come to your restaurant and let you know how sick I was if I was lying?! I asked him to kindly return my money, which he agreed to do, and then he continued to harass me and imply I was lying, and making unnecessary comments. I did respond back with a few things I shouldn't have and apologize for. Regardless, your customers should be your first priority not your pride Chad. Several times I asked him to stop talking to me and just refund my card, because I didn't want to hear the negativity anymore. But no! He had some personal quest and continued, saying he didn't need to stop talking. I couldn't take it any more... and said what the &$@# is your problem?!?!? Pushing me to the point of swearing at him. Yes we can all control our mouth's and language, but why would someone push another person, especially to the point of anger? He refused to refund my money and walked off...Upset because I wouldn't tolerate his rudeness and finally told him so? Ten minutes later I called in a man answered the phone and I said, are you the manager. He said yes, I asked what his name was. He said Chad, I asked for his last name and he refused to give it to me. I then asked for his boss and the phone number to the corporate office and he refused to give it to me. He asked my name, I responded "you know who this is" I just wanted you to give me the name and phone number. He said, one moment while I get it. He put me on hold and left me there for over 15 minutes.
Really, poor customer service choices on your end Chad. I don't appreciate the way I was treated and being implied that I was lying. I am never eating here again and will continue to tell anyone I know not to eat here, as you shouldn't either. I hope others will read my review and stop eating here. Maybe the owner should start reading the reviews, because the restaurant is going down.

My wife and I visited your location on 10111 Louetta in Houston 77070 on August 15th at around 6 PM. The experience was unsatisfactory. Initially the staff could not open a bottle of wine. I had to volunteer to open it inorder for my wife to have a Cabernet. We were told after we sat down that they were out of broccoli, so we could not have the Ginger Broccoli meal. The fried rolls were greasy. My wife had to reorder it her meal came with about half of the advertised ingredients. The restaurant was beyond filthy. Dirty table, floors, etc.
We asked to speak to the manager and she acknowledged all of our issues and agreed with our observations. She apologized and walked away!
Please advise that all is corrected, so we can return and expect a different experience.

I eat here often, prefer to eat outdoors, but the outdoor patio tables are almost never clean. Not from previous customers, but just dirt and black grime. Umbrellas are all broken and torn. Even when the store is not busy, tables are dirty. It appears to be a greasy dirt/grime that is hard to remove due to the type of table or maybe the sauces in the food.
The store need new outdoor eating furniture.

We cisisted the location on Pearland parkway in Pearland Texas on 6/8//18 at approx 1100 am. The food was fresh and good but the restaurant was in bad shape. Floors were dirty, the tables were all dirty some still had chairs stacked on them, and restroom had overflowing trash and smelled awful gnats everywhere. I feel like a place should be cleaned spotless before everyone goes home at night. The doors and windows were also very dirty. The people opening for the day shouldn't have to come in and clean everything before they start serving customers. Location time stated opening was 1030 am so to find it in such a mess was very disturbing.

The manager is ruining the Pompano Beach location with super long wait times and highly unsanitary conditions, he told the cashier to tell new customers walking in the door on a Friday night, that it would be a 40 minute wait time so they would leave. The manager is highly incompetent like a child, this store has been run so bad the last 6 months that it's a running joke. The dependable happy employees especially the cooks all quit not long after the newest manager started. The nail in the coffin is when I saw the small cockroach on a dining table. The board of health is going to shut this place down before you know it.

When leaving my daughter had a reaction to the spice . So i ran back in cleaned her mouth out made her drink water . When leaving i told them they had to be careful when preparing kids meal, the mgr tells me to have a nice day in a demeaning way . How rude is that ! not even to ask if my kid was ok . Only a customer asked me if my daughter was ok when walking out
. I am so upset ! i want to speak to this owner and no way to contact .
