Targeting seniors scam
I had been noticing a charge to my bank account that I didn't recognize. I reported it to the bank and they began an investigation; crediting my account with the total of less than $300 that had been paid out. I received a notice that they were making the credit permanent as they could find not evidence that I was a customer of Periodical Savings Club. The next day I received a call from a representative of Periodicals. Her approach to me was very offensive, and I calmly told her that she didn't need to be rude that I was willing to listen to what she had to say. Well, that made her angrier and the call ended with her raised voice telling me she was giving my "case" over to collections. That same day, the bank reversed their decision as the company had produced documentation showing that I had an account with them. The bank told me that Periodicals wanted the money being held by the bank plus another nearly $900 more to end the contract. $900 for magazines! I was shocked. First of all, they were charging me and I never received any magazines; secondly, I learned that I was entitled to a tablet which I don't have. I want out of this contract that I don't remember signing up for and I don't want the magazines as the print is too small for me to read. Lastly, I live on a fixed income and certainly don't have the money to spend on magazines.
Desired outcome: Cancel the contract, refund my money and leave senior citizens alone.
unauthorized card charges
I noticed a charge on my bank account this month that I didn't authorize but they refuse to cancel the account because it isn't in my name. I spoke to the "supervisor" Chris (he wouldn't give me his last name because it's personal information but they can steal my money when they're not authorized) and he refused to do anything but told me to file a police report just to cancel an unauthorized charge to my credit card. They are fraudulently taking my from my account and won't cancel it. What kind of business is this!? Thieves.
savings club offer
I got roped into a "promotional offer for just $1" on LinkedIn. In exchange for my information, I got signed up for a bunch of "wonderful services" that I really didn't want. SAVINGS SAVINGS at [protected] was one of them. They charged me a $24.99 fee (once the $1 promotion was over) for a service that I never used and refused to issue a refund because "I opted in and provided the special promotion code" even though I had never used the service nor did I want it. The person who I spoke with was Chris.
These people use deceptive business practices. Stear clear of them!

Periodicalsavings.club you are considering visiting, which is associated with Periodical Savings Club, is very old. Longevity often suggests that a website has consistently provided valuable content, products, or services over the years and has maintained a stable user base and a sustained online presence. This could be an indication of a very positive reputation.
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- Periodicalsavings.club has relatively low traffic compared to other websites, it could be due to a niche focus, but could also indicate a potential lack of traffic and popularity. The periodicalsavings.club may offer a niche product or service that is only of interest to a smaller audience.
- Periodical Savings Club protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.

There cancellation button isnt working so you have to call to cancel there subscription. So if you think you have it cancelled after you try there trial you really don't so most definantly you will be charged again and also not refunded. Wanting to try your product in which I didnt like or use now a $1 charge to my card became a 25.99 mistake thanks periodical [censor] savings club!

This club offered a free trial for $1, so I decided to try it. The terms of service say that you will automatically be charged monthly for the service if you do not cancel and list a cancellation phone number. The terms also say that they are unable to accept cancellations through email at this time. After looking the service over, I decided I didn't want...
