Refusing to honour warranty
Good day
I own a 2016 3008 GT Line 2lt diesel I have the dreaded Adblue failure where the whole tank needs to be replacedat a cost of 1500 euro. I am in Bulgaria.
Took the car into the Peugeot dealer after my adblu warning light stayed on and dreaded countdown to engine lockout started They confirmed my fears that the tank needed replacing along with an injector at a total cost of 1500 euro. I paid 25% up front and was told it could take 3 weeks to source from Peugeot France. Not ideal as we live in a small village and currently have 1000km to lockdown.
I then did some research and discovered that the fault was a known issue and that if the car was out of warranty puegeot were offering to cover 67% of the cost of the tank. Bonus! I emailed customer care in Bulgaria and they confirmed and told me that on presentation of an up to date service book they would deduct the amount from my bill.
I contacted the dealer where the car was due to have the tank replaced and sent them a copy of my Service book. They replied with the following.
1 We cannot cover the cost as the car is out of warranty as it is more than 5 years old. I politely explained to them that the offer from peugeot of 67% of the cost of the Urea tank is made to those cars that ARE out of warranty, If it was still in warranty the repair would be free
2 a stamp was missing from the service book meaning that their was an 18 month gap between services. So I Contacted the Bosch garage that has maintained the car for the last 3 years and the relevant stamp and proof of service was obtained and presented.
3 The "wrong oil". was used in the services therefor warranty was void. Even though this is plainly ridiculous receipts were obtained from Bosch showing that Total Diesel oil was in fact used
4 Finally. because the car has not been serviced by a peugeot approved service center the warranty and therefore any offer of covering 67% of the replacement cost is void.
I believe that this is against EU regulations and that car manufacturers cannot insist on cars being serviced only by the main dealers and that as long as recommended parts are used and the service protocols are adhered to, customers are free to have their car serviced where they choose without invalidating warranties.
And this is where I am currently at. I have asked Puegeot Bulgaria to provide me with documentation or Terms and conditions that state the car must be serviced at a peugeot approved service center. And also to provide me with a list of those "approved" garages.
I have checked with Bosch and they have confirmed to me that using a Bosch service center does NOT invalidate the warranty)
The dealer is still refusing to cover the cost. I have given them a deposit for 25% of the cost of the repair. I cannot use my car as it is sat at 1000km till shutdown and they are refusing to repair until I pay the remainder of the cost of the tank which is plainly against Peugeot guidlines?
Where do I go from here? is there a contact at Peugeot head office in France for customer complaints? Any help would be appreciated
Desired outcome: 67% of cost of faulty parts to be paid by Peugeot as per their own offer.
I should ad that the car was first registered in Spain in November 2016 and has 190000 KM on the clock. It has since been re registered in Bulgaria
Peugeot 508
Hello
Please i need a contact email or number for a customer service representative of Peugeot France to escalate a serious complain about your official distributor in Egypt.
Meanwhile, below is the details;
I bought peugeot 508 in July 2020 and since ever they are never supportive regarding damaged spare parts which is totally your responsibility since it is within the Guarantee frame or even good well.
Now i am sending you, as on Tuesday, it was raining in Egypt and the car suddenly stopped and when i delivered the car to them they told me the what happened in the car from damages is MY responsibility and not yours... despite they are sending me a bottle of benzene mixed with water from my benzene tank! How come it is not isolated and how come a new car and they dont want to maintain the losses?!
Please advice regarding the above case
Service
Good morning
Took my vehicle in for a 2nd service at William Hunt Edenvale, 2 weeks after the service the vehicle experience a vibration on the steering wheel while pushing the brake, how is this possible? I phoned them back and they told me they could only helped me 2 days after, not acceptable because this is a safety risk for me while driving alot for work. Took it to Peugeot Menlyn and they assist me immediately after I discuss the problem with them. I had to pay R1029.25, according to me this was unnecessary if the Edenvale garage serviced my vehicle probably. Menlyn dealership told me then that my car only need to be service every 15000km and not every 10000km, my vehicle is a 2008 2021 model
Service - extremely bad and unfriendly
I have a Peugeot 207cc and drove from Switzerland to Ramatuelle in France. All of a sudden a sign showed up telling me that there was something wrong with the engine. This was on August 30, 2022. I immediately drove to Peugeot Gémy in Cogolin France and asked for help. They strictly refused: no time to check the problem of my car. Maybe at the end of September 2022! No alternative was offered to me! Very unfriendly and hot helpful at all. After having contacted EuropAssistance they told me not to drive my car any longer and a wrecking service was organized. When the service arrived, they checked on the problem of my car. It was simply a wrong electronic signal: A matter of 2 minutes! I was waiting 7 1/2 hours in front of the Peugeot garage without any support or help from them. On the contrary: they asked me to leave their place and park my car somewhere else. The whole experience was a nightmare for me! Have I been treated like this because I am a woman?
I will never again buy a Peugeot!
Desired outcome: Explanation
Peugout let its customers down. Avoid buying this brand!!
Our Peugout 208 Allure car had a small accident on 18th of August in Fethiye- Türkiye and the passenger door auto glass got broken. We brought the car to the Fethiye Bakırcılar Peugout Service and have been waiting the glass to be fixed for more than a month! We are on a holiday and we need to go back to our home but the service has been lying to us about the delivery day of the car and not offering any solutions. Headquarters aren't giving us a proper information neither. They are not letting us cancel our order. This whole situation is causing us financial and moral damage through its consquences.
Desired outcome: Monetary compensation
Peugeot 5008
I bought Peugeot 5008 last year. It was produced on 2020, mileage 10000 km, 1,2 l gasoline. I enjoyed the car till last week when engine got broken. The diagnostic at Peugeot service centre showed failure of the third cylinder. All maintenance was done on time and in authorised service. Even being surprised with such failure of almost a new car, local dealer, could not help because the warranty for free engine repair ended on 28 July 2022. Such a coincidence! Current mileage is 42000 km. Service centre suggested to change the engine for approx 4500 Eur… There is only the way to solve this issue. Peugeot does not foresee refund.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate refund for engine repair or change.

Car shock absorbers
Dear Peugeot
I have a complain concerning your agent in Egypt ( Mansco ) , my car is still in warranty & their engineer told me that my shock absorbers need replacement & when I told him that car in warranty he ignored me & refused to change them & wanted me to pay for it & his excuse that I repaired my car last year after small accident, nothing that repairs happened in another agent ( El Sabaa auto service), I am counting on you to bring me my rights
Thanks
Desired outcome: Repairs in warranty
PSA GROUPE in Turkey
My name is Ibrahim Atay. I am a long term Peugeot brand user, my current car is 2016 Peugeot 5008 and as it is already 6 years old I would like to buy a new Peugeot 5008.
As we all know there is a global purchasing chain problem and people can can not find the new cars easily.
Because of that I have been searching for ready car in Turkey and finally on June 29 I have talked with one of official Peugeot dealer named CETAS and they said they have a ready car(already imported and ready to be delivered to them from PSA Groupe Turkey). They offered me price as 1,210,000TL and they requested me to pay 100% in advance and I did it at the same day. Attached you can see the payment proofs and the invoice. As you can see on invoice my car is already imported on June 24 and is waiting in PSA warehouse.
After that time Still I can not get a clear answer from PSA Groupe or from Dealer CETAS in Turkey. I am calling them every day but they don’t give me a clear answer.
I would like to inform you before I go on court because as I know Peugeot is a big brand and and maybe you can ask to your people in Turkey that why they do not give me clear information about delivery of my car.
After your reply I will decide to go on court and will display this situation on the web because other people should be careful when they think to buy Peugeot.
PS: I have paid on June 29 as 1,210,000TL and in order to pay that I exchanged 72,800USD in Turkish lira and in last 25 days USD rate increased in Turkey and means if I have paid today instead of June 29 I would save 5000usd! If they have told me that they cant give a clear delivery term than I would not pay 100%, maybe I would pay just 10% and the rest I would pay just 2-3 days before delivery.
Hi, i have sent 2 emails to support@complaintsboard.com however they do not read and response. Please check your emails and inform me. Thanks
3008 GT with valid warranty.
I own Peugeot 3008 GT 180HP puretech engine, a month ago the car started making rattling noise which is very annoying, I took the car to the service center they cleaned the brakes shoes and returned to me, of course it was wrong repair, I sent to same complaint to Peugeot france they ignored the issue, I took the car to another service center and they immediately said the car's flywheel sounds to be malfunctioning, repairing cost is $850 but you better return to Peugeot because the car is still under warranty, I'm attaching a video of the problem.

Service repair at your appointed dealers Robins & Day
Attn; David Steel
MD, Peugeot UK
Dear Sirs
re: LM10 V00 - Sent in for Repairs at Robins & Day official Peugeot Repair Centre
Over 2 weeks ago I took my Peugeot into Robins & Day as it was producing a high chirping noise from the passenger front footwell area... I specifically took it to your top approved repair center and detailed the problem and rode with the engineer to show the area of the problem and reproduce the intermittent CHIRPING (not a squeak) stating time and again it is coming from the lower front of the left-hand side of the ca.. .behnf the engine or dash;
Robins & Day kept the vehicle for ONE WEEK and during that time they said their engineers believe the problem to be from the ROOF area? I did not agree but I followed their opinion and knowledge and they went about making expensive repairs. i collected the car on Friday a week ago and noted on the repair sheet the problem was written down as a squeak coming from the REAR? Firstly it was NOT a squeak noise I repopted and secondly, it was not from the REAR.
Their manager Alan Ball, said to bring the car in as a priority/recall repair and they will look into it and arrange a courtesy car - which I did but they refused the courtesy car as my license was out for renewal with DVLA - this was a major setback and costly to me as I have now been without a car for TWO weeks and the original problem was not resolved at all, despite being charged for repairs to the roof!
I have been trying to call Robins & Dday's Alan Ball ALL MORNING since 9AM and all I get is that he is IN A MEETING - he tried to call me once and the phone went off, I immediately called back but he was then busy!
I need the repair carried out this week as a RECALL and cannot wait any longer - this is now an URGENT MATTER as I have paid out good money and have not had (a) the service or (b) the follow-up and I I feel that i am being fobbed oof all the time. I cannot believe that it takes so long to return a quick phone call when the matter is long outstanding and the car is still un-repaired.
I need your urgent assistance to call Robins & Day and speak to Alan Ball yourself to vet my Peugeot takin n THIS WEEK with a courtesy car as they have caused me so many problems not properly relating the car in the first instance.
I am away next week and NEED The car but can't drive a car the emits a high picked chirping all the time - this just can't continue,
Please therefore CALL Mr Alan Ball at Robins & Day BRENTFORD in London ASAP and help resolve this issue as he might take a call from you rather than from me as clearly Ii am at the bottom of the queue when a one is only 2 minutes to make ...
Kindly confirm receipt of this email.
Yours sincerelyRobin Haddon

rear Spoiler replacement refused
Hello,
I am a Peugeot 208 owner (released in 2015, automatic gearbox). About 3 weeks ago, while I was driving on the highway, the spoiler of my car was detached, an event that could very well result in hurting someone or causing material damage, but it thankfully did not.
I would like to point out here that I have not been involved in any kind of incident that could justify the spoiler being detached.
Addressing the delegation of Peugeot GIANNIRIS in Thessaloniki to report the incident, they informed me that Peugeot will not accept my request for the replacement of the damaged piece. The justification they presented me with was that the spoiler must have been worn down by the brushes that are used by car washing machines.
I request a formal reply from the company regarding the actual damage those brushes can cause to any part of the car as well as the exact reason you declined to review my request for a new spoiler.
Ps. I would like to point out that I have been a Peugeot owner since 2015 and have been constantly experiencing problems with my car.
Desired outcome: I would greatly appreciate an imminent response and a formal statement from Peugeot about what causes such problems with the spoilers.
replacement of Battery stillunder warranty
5/5/2022
I bought a second hand 2014 Peugeot 508 20H Plate No.AAJ4376 (casa mainteined) last March 14, 2022. As per record last battery purchased was last July 2021, still has a two year warranty.
Last Apri 27, 2022 battery went drain. We informed Alabang Service Center and informed us no stock available from their Laguna warehouse and do not know when there will be available stock and said they can not do anything.
Desired outcome: I do believe there is always an available stock specially battery. It is impossible that there is no stock. We need a transport going to work.

Dear sir/madam
1- In 2011 I bought a brand new 3008 Peugeot at Peugeot Abu Dhabi Showroom (I paid about $ 22000.
2-Sales people asserted the heavy duty and excellent performance of the car.
3-Since then, many things went wrong with the car engine and other things (engine bearings, window and door lock control panel, petrol tank, etc.).
4-I paid a lot of money to keep my car maintained at Peugeot Service Centre Abu Dhabi.
5-In 2018, I got the whole A/C parts changed at Peugeot Service centre Abu Dhabi (compressor, condenser, chiller, etc.). I paid nearly AED 6000 (nearly $ 1700).
6-Officers at the Service Centre asserted the A/C parts will make about 150000 KMs.
7-Until now, I made only 68000 kms, since I bought the car. The first A/C parts made 45000 kms, the second A/C parts made 25000.
8-I have been trying to convince the Peugeot Service Centre Abu Dhabi. staff that there must be a problem with the parts or the fixing.
Peugeot is a big trustworthy brand, and it cannot be like that! Changing the A/C parts with this low mileage is a bad reputation for the car.
I want the Peugeot Service Centre Abu Dhabi staff to replace the A/C parts for free this time.
Thank you.
Yours
Dr. Hussein Maghawry Hussein

Peugeot 508 2020
Dear All,
Kindly note that I started complaining about oil level from more than 6 months and i visited the service center in Egypt - Alexandria ( Peugeot Mansco Moharram Bek ) Branch. we started to test the oil level for 3 times and for every 2kms the oil level reduced by 1 liter and it is above the average and they stated that Peugeot in France need some other test for the car and they took the car from Saturday [protected] and till now they are saying that they took all readings they want and Peugeot Global didnt reply till now and this issue is effecting my work and I need a quick response from your side to know my car status.
Best Regards,

Peugeot 207 Electric steering
It is a well known fact worldwide that the Peugeot 207 models had majors flaws with their electric power steering components. It can be seen on various Peugeot owner club pages worldwide. In Europe at least Peugeot has taken ownership of these issues and compensated owners by replacing faulty steering pumps ect free of charge.
Unfortunately here in good old South Africa, Money is king. Once you have paid for your Peugeot, it is your problem. Was told today that not withstanding the evidence of a horrific reliability issue with the electric steering on the 207, it is not their problem. They will not assist in any way and they could not be bothered.
I use to love Peugeot, but this used 207 I just purchased will be my last. Japanese seems the route to go
Desired outcome: Taking into account the proof on various platforms regarding the problems with the electric steering pump, I feel that would have left Peugeot to replace it free of charge or at least offer some good will gesture
service of settle the problem of engine oil leaking ?
my car (208) problem of engine oil leaking , then i send my car to peugeot serive center , for the 7days after the car was ready , but without finished cleared the problem of engine oil leaking...is that funny ?
Peugeot 3008
I owned a peguoet 3008 since June 22020 and after 3 months the sunroof started to leaked and upon complaint it was resolved in late 2021 by replacing g the rubber and due to the leak all the roof lining was stained which upon millions of follow up from the dealer got replaced in Jan 2022. In 2021 another issue of driver side handle was identified. Since it is a keyless entry the handle was not functional and it was replaced in Jan 2022. Also another issue identified in 2021 was an electrical fault popping up on the screen which the dealer at first said is due to battery. The battery was replaced in Jan 2022 and after 2 days again the fault appeared. Upon diagnoses the dealer now says its due to fuse box which needs to be replaced.
Am so tired of this as my van has only mileage of 14800 and so many issues. The dealer has not even done the replacement of the hood liner properly and the hood is now about to fall due to the water it soaked. Dealer in Fiji is Vision Motors and they are now not willing to replace the van. Most of the parts has been opened and although it is a firm out van now it looks an old one.
Pls assist me with a new replacement as I can't risk my family and myself while riding the van as it has so many issue.
Desired outcome: Vehicle replacement
Peugeot 2008 gt line 2022
To whom it may concern,
I have purchased my Peugeot 2008 2022 GT Line from MANSCO Peugeot, EGYPT, a month ago in the end of November. I was choosing between different Car Brands before I purchased the car, and I picked the Peugeot 2008 GT for it's features and innovative technology.
I made sure what I am getting by visiting the official Peugeot MANSCO website and carefully check the car features which clearly states as attached in the picture that the GT Line has a wireless charging feature.
Upon receiving my car from the car dealer while testing it, I found out that the wireless charger compartment is not working. The car dealer checked the latest car features they have informed by MANSCO and it was clearly stated a wireless charger compartment feature. I was then advised to get in touch directly with MANSCO and they will solve the issue.
I contacted MANSCO Peugeot Service Center, they had no idea why it's not working and advised me to go visit their service center. Next day I went and the engineers had absolutely no idea that MANSCO has removed the feature!
I was then informed after 2 hours that MANSCO has removed the feature from the 2022 model and it is now a PAID feature to have. I was surprised because this hasn't been stated either on the Website, to the Car dealer, even MANSCO engineers and employees were not well informed of the update!
I filed a complaint and a senior sales account manager from MANSCO called me, and admitted that because this is a fresh update, neither the car dealers, official Peugeot MANSCO website, nor even the service center engineers are aware of it!
He then informed me he will get back to the management and update me with how they will fix this.
A month has passed, there has been no action from MANSCO, no contact, no update, and obviously it's MANSCO's way of shutting Peugeot customers and telling them to suck it up.
I am 100% confident this isn't Peugeot company philosphy and MANSCO isn't the kind of partner you would want to be in bed with handling your business in Egypt.
I have attached the official MANSCO Peugeot website pictures for your action.
Thank you.
Desired outcome: Install the Wireless Charger compartment free of charge.
Worst aftercare I have ever experienced
I purchased a Peugeot 3008 1.6 Hybrid 4 300 GT Premium in April 2021. On the 3rd September 2021 various warning lights appeared on the screen culminating in a warning to STOP DRIVING, TOATL BRAKE FAILURE. I eventually manged to get the car recovered and into the dealer (Telford Motors) who I had purchased it from. After a few days they told me that the part had been ordered. I have been in contact with them on a weekly basis to be told every time that the part is not in commercialisation to which I believe means they are fitting these parts to newly built cars but not making any parts for cars that have already been sold - appalling. It has now been 13 weeks and I still don't have my car. I have an old basic courtesy car, not what I paid for. This has to be the worst Customer after care ever
Desired outcome: new replacement car
Peugeot Car 3008
I have a Peugeot 3008 car (model of year 2021). I bought it in Egypt from MansCo, the authorized dealer for Peugeot in Egypt. While driving the car on Friday 26 November 2021, it stopped suddenly. I called Mansco to send a truck to move the car to their service center. On Saturday 27 November 2021, they called me and said that the fuel in the car is mixed with water. I always use authorized station to buy fuel for my car. They changed some spare parts and said they will try the car to ensure every think is ok. 2 days later, they called me stating that the car needs more spare parts. The total cost is EGP 50, 000 and they pretending the engine does not start to force me paying the money, noting that the car is still in the guarantee period. This is not acceptable. I am officially raising the complain against MansCo (Peugeot Egypt).
Service center of Peugeot in Egypt are not trust worthy and they try to abuse their clients by making money.
